Live from Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York
October 18, 2021
The SVW logo on the top of the SVW Championship is seen as it’s raised in the air from the night of SVW’s 10th anniversary show on Valentine’s Day. Her expression turns into a cocky smile before we rewind time to 2014 when Rebecka Hate was the SVW Champion and her path as champion. “Money and the Power” by Kid Ink begins playing.
We’ve been going hard for too long
Can’t get enough, what is you on?
Really ain’t nothing, I could drop that
Wake up in the morning, make it all back
The violent altercation from the Midas Touch this year is shown between Jo McFarlane and Scarlett Kincaid as she was assaulted on the outside of the ring. Later in the match, Scarlett comes at Jo full force in the Midas Touch and ends up eliminating her before a graphic shows us they meet tonight.
It’s nothing, nothing to get it poppin’
Wanna roll. Roll up, up, and away
Here we go now
Now Martin had a dream, I’ve been dreamin’ ’bout gold
Tell ‘em I just wanna shine, and I gotta let it show
The history of Stacey Sky’s Adrenaline title reign, showing each opponent she defeated to retain it since she won it. After each victory, we see the shadow of Anna Cortez watching before it’s announced they’ll meet tonight, which turns into a staredown between them.
Vibrate the whole building, I ain’t ringing through your phone
Waiting ’til the smoke clear, can you see me through the fog?
The song continues to play as we go live inside the arena with fireworks erupting from the stage and shooting across the rafters of the arena. A roaring crowd is heard as the music continues playing. The stage is decorated to look like the skyline of New York City.
Kevin: The World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, is the home of SVW tonight, and you are watching Rampage live on SVW Unlimited! Tonight, 5 championships will be decided and one hell of a grudge match too!
Vee: This is my kinda town, Kevin! Where fortunes are made and lost, it’s the city that never sleeps. No place better for the Wicked Storm to reclaim the SVW Tag Team Championship against those two hosers holding them now.
Kevin: That’s one of the titles I was referring to, yes. The SVW, Defiance, Tag Team, Aggression, and Adrenaline titles are all up for grabs, and we could very well make a lot of history tonight! I’m ready to get it going, so let’s send it up to the World’s Most Dapper Ring Announcer and get Rampage rolling!
The show cuts to the ring to find John looking out over the massive crowd in the Garden. Dressed in a tuxedo no less, he raises the microphone to begin the introductions.
John: The opening contest of Rampage is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SVW Aggression Championship!
Kevin: Formerly known as the Pride Championship and rechristened on July 28th to the Aggression title, this title has consistently been a major focal point as a result.
Vee: You got that right. I plan on sending Michelle after it, because no one defines aggression more than she does.
Kevin: You do realize it’s named after the show, right?
"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande begins to play as two ladies in evening dresses walk out to the top of the rampway and unroll a red carpet.
Don't need permission
Made my decision to test my limits
Cause it's my business, God as my witness
Start what I finished
AMC steps out from the back wearing a beautiful flowing robe. Her manager Kyle Kilmeade follows closely behind her. AMC stops at the top of the ramp and slowly spins in a circle as Kyle applauds his client.
Don't need no hold up
Taking control of this kind of moment
I'm locked and loaded
Completely focused, my mind is open
John: Coming down the aisle accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade and hailing from Beverly Hills, CA. “The Beverly Hills Socialite” A. M. C.!!!!!!!!!!
All that you got, skin to skin, oh my God
Don't ya stop, boy
Somethin' 'bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman
Somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout you
Makes me wanna do things that I shouldn't
AMC slowly makes her way down the aisle and upon reaching the ring she walks up the steps, taking a moment to wipe her feet on the apron as Kyle gets on the apron and holds the ropes open. AMC Slowly bends over to get in the ring giving Kyle a great view of her ass causing him to smirk. Once in the ring Kyle removes her robe and kisses her hand causing loud boos from the crowd.
Kevin: This will mark Ashley’s second attempt to become the new champion. She’s definitely the one with more to prove here, and all she’s done is piss River off since then.
Vee: Ashley was only trying to help improve River’s looks. I mean she doesn’t have a lot to work with, so tanning her face might have made her a tiny bit easier on the eyes.
The lights extinguish inside the arena only for a hockey style goal horn to sound; causing a spotlight to snap on and highlight the one, the only, River Campbell stood at the top of the stage playing to the crowd, waving her arms to get them to join in with the clapping and the opening “Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh’s…” of “The Enforcer” by Monster Truck. The title belt fastened diagonally across her body like a bandolier or guitar strap. She nods her head, revelling in it as the lyrics kick in.
“I'm not looking for a fight
If you come at me tonight
I'm gonna make you sorry.
Don't try my patience, son
There's a reason I'm the one,
People stand aside for.”
With a smirk on her face she sets off down the ramp, beating her chest as she does so. When she reaches the ring she climbs up the ring steps. Entering the ring, the musician continues to play to the fans by standing on the middle rope and raising her hand in the air. She repeats this on all four sides of the ring before returning to her corner and waiting impatiently for the match to start.
John: From New York, New York, weighing 143 lbs, standing 5’7 she is the reigning and defending SVW Aggression Champion...RIVER CAMPBELL!!!
Kevin: Both of hre reigns combined, River has held this title for nearly a year in total. And she’s been a fighting champion too, turning no one away. In this case, I know for a fact she wants another piece of Ashley and this was how she was going to get it.
Vee: She’s still mad about that whole title ceremony. She could have just let Ashley have a selfie with the title, which is all she got out of it...aside of trying to light up her face, I mean.
Referee Billy Phelps showed the title to Ashley before holding it over his head, and then handing it off to John. The bell sounded after that, and it was almost like River got sht out of a cannon as she took towards the challenger at a high speed. Chase tried to get out of the ring immediately, but got caught by the champion who pulled her back inside by the tights and started unloading with furious right hands to the side of her head. The hometown crowd roared after she shoved Ashley back into the corner, and landed several forearms to the side of her head. She climbed up onto the middle rope, and let the fans count off ten punches to her head before hopping down. Chase stumbled out of the corner before River grabbed a rear waistlock, and snapped off a German suplex that sent the challenger into a heap against the corner.
Kevin: We’re picking up right where that six woman tag match left off with River going KOS on Ashley, but there’s no one to tag tonight. Not to mention this is River’s backyard!
Vee: Oh, so that’s why they like her? I’d have figured they would appreciate a woman of Ashley’s class and presence.
Chase tried to get up with the help of the corner, and River stopped that with a running knee into her lower back. It sent her into the corner chest first, and Campbell spiked her face into the top turnbuckle a few times before hooking her head from behind for an inverted suplex to send the brunette face down on the mat. She popped back to her feet, bouncing off the near side before dropping an elbow into the back of Ashley’s head. The challenger tried to get away again, only to get pulled up by the arm prior to River landing a knife edge chop across her chest. The smack resounded through the arena before four more send her into the ropes and a discus clothesline then found her going through those ropes to the floor.
Kevin: River Campbell is a ball of fire right now, and she’s not missed a shot yet! I bet Ashley’s regretting a lot of decisions right now.
Vee: Ashley has no regrets other than hiring Kyle sooner, Kevin. Besides River wants to pin her, right? Well she isn’t going to do that with her on the floor.
River rallied the crowd as Kyle helped Ashley back to her feet. The brunette showed him her chest up close, and complained about the chops. But her complaints never finished before River reached through the ropes to grab two handfuls of her hair to pull her onto the apron. Chase got to her feet, and turned around before River used an elbow to the top of her head, and then hoisted her up for a slingshot suplex to bring her back into the ring. She floated across for the cover with the outside leg hooked.
Kevin: Ashley’s about to have plenty of time to show Kyle all her ouchies!
ONE!!!
TWO!!!
Chase kicked out at two, and River yanked her back to her feet by her hair. She whipped her into the far corner chest first before hitting the ropes nearest her for a running lariat. Another bounce off the ropes as Ashley got up saw her get put down again with a scissor kick.
Vee: How dare River interrupt a manager/client discussion like that? Ashley wasn’t even talking to her.
The champion pulled the challenger back to her feet, and laid in a couple more chops to her chest. She fired Ashley into the far corner, and darted in after her with a corner clothesline, but Chase brought her knees up for a second. Campbell ran into them, and it dazed her. Ashley quickly capitalized by throwing her to the mat with a hair mare. She dropped down to her knees beside her, and applied a blatant choke until the count of four from referee Billy Phelps.
Vee: She should get a ten count on that choke for interrupting the conversation Ashley was trying to have with her manager.
Kevin: Conversation?! Looked more like she was about two inches from giving him a motorboat to me.
Chase got back to her feet, trying to collect herself after all the offense she had absorbed. When she spotted River starting to get to all fours though, she grabbed her head to deliver a corner bulldog. She draped her neck across the middle rope before hopping onto River’s back with both knees to choke her. Another four count from the referee followed before she yanked her off the ropes by her feet to let her faceplant on the mat. Now feeling more confident, she dropped down to the mat and applied a Koji clutch submission.
Vee: Now that’s a choke you can do legally, plus it helps to be pretty limber too. And that’s one of Ashley’s advantages. I think she’s more agile than River.
Kevin: She might well be, that wouldn’t surprise me. I haven’t seen her utilize this hold before, so it’s clear she’s been working on a few things for this match.
Phelps moved around to see if River wanted to stop the match, but got no sign that she did. River, instead, was using her free hand to try to reach the ropes. Ashley did everything she could to prevent that, and it was working as River seemed to be fading a little as the hold remained applied. Phelps checked again, still getting no sign that River wanted the match to be stopped. But the champion’s eyes were clearly getting heavy, and her reaches for the bottom rope were more languid.
Vee: If nothing else, the one thing River can say that she got out of this match was a good night’s sleep. Ashley has that hold in tight, doesn’t she?
Kevin: She definitely does. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out this is something Kyle is responsible for. He’s always looking to increase his clients’ repertoire.
Finally, River’s arm dropped to the mat and Ashley demanded the referee check her and call for the bell. Phelps raised the arm once, twice, and as it was falling the third time, River’s eyes popped open. The New York City crowd came to life as she made one desperate lunge towards the rope, and made it. Phelps had to count to four to get the challenger to break the hold. Ashley got back to her feet in a huff, and looked down to see River trying to get her wits together and revive herself.
Kevin: That Koji clutch took a lot out of River, and she’s trying to wake herself up right now. That hold cuts off oxygen to the brain, and that’s when the lights start to go out.
Vee: Just a shame she couldn’t have had it in place longer, because then we’d already have a new champion to start Rampage.
She circled around the New Yorker as River began to get up, only to snatch her arms over her head to deliver a full nelson facebuster. She rolled Campbell over for the cover, and hooked the outside leg.
Vee: I bet that did the job, Kevin! We got a socialite champion coming up!
ONE!!
TWOOOO!!!
TH-NOO!!!
River got her shoulder off the mat, and Ashley demanded the referee count faster. She glanced towards her manager, who had some advice for her before she headed towards the corner to make her way up top.
Kevin: Ashley’s heading to the high rent district now, she must think she’s one move away from putting River down for the three count.
Ashley made it to the top rope, and wasted no time in going for a frog splash. But the champion rolled out of the way. The fans got loud all over again as River sat up, while Ashley held her abdomen in pain. The champion shook her head a little, and got back to her feet finally. She scooped up Chase onto her shoulder before darting out of the corner with a running powerslam. Campbell started pumping her arm, and the fans were getting louder for her now.
Kevin: River’s tapped into that second wind now, and she’s feeding off these fans here in the Garden!
Vee: I don’t like the way this is starting to look. Kyle may have to do something about this sooner than later.
Kyle was definitely starting to look concerned at ringside as River dragged Ashley back to her feet. She whipped the brunette across to the far side, and caught her on the rebound with a sidewalk slam to the canvas. She pulled Chase to her feet, and delivered a series of arm-trap headbutts to her face that staggered the socialite backwards before River yanked her by the arm into a stunner that bounced her off the canvas. The fans came to their feet as she darted across her for the cover!!
Kevin; STUNNER!! Ashley literally bounced off the mat, and River’s gonna retain the title!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!
The referee stopped the count when he looked up to see Ashley’s foot across the bottom rope. River looked to see it too, and got back to her feet. She headed for the far corner, and dropped down into a three point stance.
Vee: Uh oh, I know what this is going to look like! Ashley needs to stay down...or better yet, roll out of the ring!
The New York City crowd was getting louder as Ashley crawled towards the corner afew a few seconds. She tried to use it to get up, but instead slumped forward against the middle turnbuckle. River waved her arm, shouting at her to get up and turn around as Kyle was shouting at his client too. Finally, Ashley got to her feet and started to turn before River bolted towards her with her clothesline. But Ashley countered with a drop toe hold that sent River face first...into an exposed turnbuckle! Campbell’s head smacked the metal arm before Chase rolled her up from behind! Phelps dove to make the count just before Ashley grabbed a handful of tights!
Kevin: Did...did she take off the turnbuckle pad?!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
The referee called for the bell as Ashley immediately rolled out of the ring. She collapsed to her knees, but was soon helped up by her manager as the referee joined them to raise her hand.
Vee: Either she did, or our ring crew is lazy as hell and forgot to put it on! What matters we’re starting off Rampage with a new champion!
John: Your winner by pinfall….AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEWW SVW Aggression Champion…..ASHLEY MARIE CHASE!!!
Kyle congratulated his client as she took the title from the refere, first clutching it to her and then hugging her manager with her arms and legs. He sat her back on her feet as she thrust the title into the air amid boos from the New York City crowd.
Kevin: Ashley Marie Chase has stolen the Aggression Championship tonight, and got her ass kicked in the process. I’m sure she’ll want Kilmeade to check that out later too.
Vee: Stop worrying about Ashley’s body, I thought you had a girlfriend. Way to goo, Ashley! And that won’t be the only title change tonight if I have my way about it.
Ashley kissed her new title as she headed towards the back. Then the show cut to a video package surrounding tonight’s match for the Defiance Championship.

John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and is for the SVW DEFIANCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
The thumping war drums and the mysterious flute of "Aztec Temple" hit the sound system. The crowd comes alive as the Aztec Warrior Leona Vega comes through the main gate, looking over the cheering crowd, soaking it in for a bit. She points at two random spots into the audience before letting out a loud roar, which is followed by a lion's roar echoing through the sound system. She then slowly makes her way down the entrance ramp, sharing a high-five with the fans in attendance with their arms out for her.
John: Introducing first, the challenger from Monterrey, Mexico... LEONA VEGA!
She then stops a couple of steps before the ring, backtracking a little bit and then sprinting towards it, hopping onto the ring apron, and then immediately vaulting over the top rope, landing in a three-point stance inside the ring. Soaking in the crowd's cheers, she gets up and climbs the nearest turnbuckle, staring into the crowd with a big smile, raising her arms, with her fists closed, saying a quick prayer to herself before slapping the top turnbuckle and jumping back down into the ring, cracking her joints in the sequence.
Kevin: Leona Vega has been confounding the Defiance Champion for several weeks, and tonight she has the chance to dethrone him. I believe she can do it.
Vee: Well that makes one of us, Kevin. I think she gets stomped through the mat.
The driving beats of “Ten Ton Skeleton” by Royal Blood begins to play before the arena darkens. A row of spotlights form one by one on the stage as the “Alpha” steps out onto the stage wearing a long leather coat with the INSERT TITLE HERE hanging over one shoulder. He’s followed out by Angela Jameson, who gives a crowd a scowl as they boo her boyfriend. The pair head towards the ring with each spotlight disappearing behind him as he walks past it. As the pair arrive at the ring, he pulls the ropes apart for Angela to step into the ring before stepping over the top rope to join her. The single spotlight appears in the center of the ring as he stops with both arms crossed in front of his chest, while Angela looks up to him with a confident smile on her face.
John: Hailing from Manchester England and accompanied to the ring by Angela Jamesoni at 6’8 and 288 pounds, this is the REIGNING AND DEFENDING SVW DEFIANCE CHAMPION….’THE ALPHA’ ERIC CROSS!
Kevin: Eric cross is a scary man. Just look at him, but it doesn’t stop there. If you hear him speak, you realize just how dangerous our Defiance Champion is.
Vee: It’s nice to have a champion who has a little bit of an edge to him. Personally I find him charming, obviously so does Angela Jameson.
Mickey McGuire was the referee in charge and requested the title from Eric Cross only for the tall man to raise it high into the air, getting booed by the crowd as his eyes never left Leona before he finally lowered it and shoved it roughly into the referee’s chest, telling him to look after it and not getting his dirty fingerprints all over it. The official took the title and showed it to Leona before raising it above his head for the benefit of the crowd then handed it off to John. Both wrestlers confirmed they were ready to begin the match and Mcguire called for the bell which saw them both come out of their corners and circle for a moment before Cross dropped back to the ropes and sat on the middle one, holding the top one and inviting Leona to just leave and go to the back before he broke her in half and left her a cripple in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
Vee: What a generous man! He’s giving her the chance to leave without getting hurt. Leona doesn’t have a brain in her head though.
Kevin: Leona Vega knows chances like this don’t come along everyday, besides that, she’s absolutely fearless.
Leona seemed to mull it over for a couple of seconds before she nodded her head and started towards the ropes. Just as she was about to step from them though she fired off a superkick to the jaw. He wobbled as he held the ropes and received a second superkick to the jaw that saw him topple to the outside where he landed hard on the floor. Quickly Cross started to pick himself up as Leona scaled the turnbuckles and as soon as Eric was back to his feet she launched herself to the outside to catch the Defiance Champion with a missile dropkick that again sent him down to his back. Once more The Alpha was only down for a second or so before he started to pull himself upright where Vega darted forwards and delivered a running knee lift to his jaw before she stepped backwards only to skip forwards as he pushed up to one knee and caught him with a pump kick to the jaw. Cross leaned backwards but kept his balance, taking a second or two before he started to push the rest of his way to his feet only for Leona to come off the apron with a bulldog that drove him face first into the canvas.
Vee: Dumb dumb Leona. She should have walked away rather than just pretending and trying to catch Cross off guard.
Kevin: He can’t have possibly thought that she was going to take him up on the offer. He can’t be either that stupid or arrogant.
Mcguire was being deliberately slow with the count as he leaned through the ropes and told Vega to bring the action back into the ring, getting a nod from the Mexican as she pulled the rising Mancunian back up to his feet and rolled him into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Cross rolled away and came back up to his feet as Leona hopped up onto the apron, half stepping through the ropes and as Eric made it back upright, she used the ropes to fire herself into a springboard spear, launching herself into his gut like a cruise missile and driving him down into the mat as she did so. The Monterrey native rolled to the side and kipped up to her feet before she took off towards the ropes, bouncing off them and came back as Cross made it to one knee and launched herself towards him once more, hooking his head under her arm as she swung her feet upwards and spiked him skull first into the mat with a huge DDT. Again Vega kipped up as Eric rolled onto his back and started to sit up only to receive a double foot stomp to his chest, driving him down onto his back once more and as Leona landed on the mat, she again left her feet and crashed down across his body with a moonsault. She held on for the pin.
Kevin: Leona is a blur of activity, and she’s got the big man in trouble early! There’s a cover!
One…
Vee: She hasn’t done nearly enough to keep him down. That’s arrogance to think she has, in all honesty.
Cross kicked out with authority, hurling Leona away from her. Vega rolled and came back to her feet before taking off across the ring. She hit the ropes and came back towards The Alpha as he made it to his knees, looking to catch him with a big boot to the face only for the Defiance Champion to see it coming, moving swaying his head to the side at the last moment and caught her around the thigh as her boot whistled past his head. He kept her leg trapped as he rose to her feet, causing her to hop before he used his grip to pull her closer, keeping it hooked as he used a leg hook saito suplex to send her crashing down to the mat. Vega held her spine as she came to her feet. Eric advanced towards her and as he came near, Leona fired off a stiff kick aimed at the side of his knee. A second followed that but still Cross came forwards and went to fire off a European uppercut only for Vega to duck and avoid the blow, spinning around behind him where she caught him with another stiff kick to the back of his knee.
Kevin; She’s trying to chop down this big man, and those knees might as well have targets on them.
Vee: Yeah, but she hasn’t done it yet. Cross is damn near like a tree when he plants his feet, Kevin.
Eric staggered as another kick landed and Leona stepped quickly backwards towards the middle of the ring before only to came straight back towards Eric, avoiding another European uppercut attempt from the man as she ran passed him, hopped up onto the middle turnbuckle and launched herself backwards into a back elbow that caught him on the side of the jaw as he turned. It caused to take a half step backwards as Leona again left her feet and caught him with a pele kick to the top of his head. For a moment Cross looked like he might be about to drop to one knee but managed to stop himself, staying upright as the Mexican wrestler once more came to her feet and jumped onto the middle rope, launching herself off into a disaster kick that rocked the Alpha, dropping him down to one knee. Vega shook her head and headed towards the corner, climbing to the top rope and measured up Cross before she jumped onto his shoulders and looked to snap off a hurricanrana only for the Defiance Champion to catch her around her legs, shaking his head as he refused to go anywhere.
Vee: Ahahahaha!! I knew it was going to happen sooner or later!
Kevin: Leona got caught….and this isn’t going to end well for the challenger!
Vega hung upside down, caught in his grasp for a moment before she sat up on his shoulders and started to hammer at his head with right hands. Cross tottered for a moment as her weight shifted upwards and the blows began to land...but it was only for a moment. He got his bearings and despite Vega driving her fist into his head, he stepped forwards and hurled her violently into the corner with a buckle bomb. The Monterrey native held her spine as she landed on her feet and stepped out of the corner only to walk straight into a huge European uppercut that took her off her feet and sent her back into the turnbuckle pads. He stepped forwards and drove three more European uppercuts into her jaw before he grabbed hold of a handful of hair, pulling her away from the ropes, pulling her head down to bend her double as he slammed five forearms into the side of her head in quick succession as the referee demanded he release the hair and started the count, getting to four before Cross acquiesced to his wishes, Vega dropping momentarily to one knee.
Vee: I think it’s hard for Cross to show any respect to a referee’s wishes, because we all know they are subhuman. And my God, he’s all man.
Kevin: You need a tissue? I think you’re starting to drool. Angela won’t like that.
Leona started back up to her feet and as she did so, Cross caught her with another European uppercut before he Irish whipped her across the ring, stepping backwards as she returned so that he could pop her up into the air and allowed her to drop from high in the air and land chest first across the top rope, Vega landing on her knees, crossing her arms over her torso as she gasped for breath. Eric used a handful of hair to jerk her back up to her feet with her still facing out to the crowd and immediately wrapped his arms around her body, quickly hurling her down to the canvas with a release German suplex. The Defiance Championship rolled to the side, coming back to his feet and threw his hands in the air, getting booed by the crowd as he stepped backwards, leaning into the ropes before he used them to catapult himself forwards into a big boot as Leona made it to her feet, sending her back down to the canvas as she did so.
Vee: I’m pretty sure Cross’ foot is bigger than Leona’s head, as swelled as it is.
Kevin: Does it matter what size it is when you catch it right in the face?
The Mexican wrestler once more started to push herself upwards from the mat but as she did so, The Alpha pulled her the rest of the way to her feet, scooping her and driving her down back first across his bent knee. He kept her bent backwards over his knee, using one hand under her jaw to shove her head downwards to bend her spine further as he told her that he’d warned her that he was going to snap her in half and leave her in a wheelchair. He kept her head pushed down towards the mat he used his free hand down to deliver a vicious slap to the chest. Three more followed that in quick succession with a whip crack sound on each impact, the fans booing him loudly as he did. It only seemed to make Cross grin as he finally decided to allow her up from his knee, wrapping his hand around her throat as he pulled her up, standing upright himself and lifting her off her feet where he slammed her down into the mat with a chokeslam. He placed his boot upon her chest and told McGuire to count the three, the official dropping into position to do so.
Vee: Look at that dominating cover, Kevin! Cross retains!
One…
Tw-
Kevin: He was never going to win like that, not against someone with the pedigree of Leona Vega.
Vega rolled the shoulder before the two count was made and Cross shook his head as he bent down, wrapping his hand around Vega’s throat once more and pulled her straight back up to her feet and once more lifted her up off her feet, level with his face as he shouted in her face. The referee demanded he release the choke, starting the count and getting to three before Cross lifted her higher for a second chokeslam only for Vega to grab hold of his arm with both of her hands and as he went to slam her, she countered into a modified arm drag that sent him off balance and sent him sprawling towards the corner. The Defiance Champion caught himself before he hit the mat and turned to face the challenger only for the Mexican to skip forwards and catch him on the point of the jaw with a savate kick. It caused Eric to stagger backwards towards the corner and as he did, the Monterrey born grappler caught him with a bicycle kick to the chest that sent the Champion all the way back into the corner.
Kevin: That just shows you how big that man is. Most anyone else and that bicycle kick from Leona would have floored them.
Vee: Leona is like the buzzing of flies to our glorious Defiance Champion.
Leona held her back as she quickly stepped backwards to the middle of the ring only to sprint towards the big man in the corner and caught him with a jumping double knee strike to his chest. Landing on her feet, Vega didn’t waste any time at all in following up with a dropsault that once more saw her catch Eric with a kick to the jaw before she landed on one knee in front of him. Leona immediately launched herself forwards from the kneeling position into a shoulder thrust to his gut before she backed up only to step up onto the middle rope to slam her boot into the side of his head with an enzuigiri. The Defiance Champion started to step out of the corner, holding the side of his head as he did so and Vega, pumped her fists, getting the crowd to cheer her loudly as she quickly headed to the corner, leaping up onto the top rope and launched herself off, flipping over her opponent and delivered a Diamond Dust cutter that took him off his feet and sent him down to the canvas. Vega held the small of her back as she forced herself to dive on top of him and hook the leg for the cover.
Kevin: That might do it! Leona got every bit of that!
One…
Two…
Vee: it’s gonna take more than that to knock off the Defiance Champion. Leona doesn’t have the ability to do it, I know that.
Cross kicked out authoritatively once more, the expression on his face turning meaner as he rolled and started to push back up to his feet only to be sent face first back into the mat by his foe with a fameasser. He started to push back upwards, quickly getting up to his knees and as he did so, Leona bounced off the ropes and caught him with a running knee lift to the jaw. It caused the Mancunian to start to rise only for Vega to grab hold of his head and put him down on the mat yet again with a spinning neckbreaker. As the Defiance Champion held his neck, Vega came back to her feet, holding her lower back as she did so and started to wave the big man to his feet, waiting until he was almost fully upright before she took towards him once more, launching herself into a low dropkick to his kneecap, sending him back down to one knee. Again the Alpha pushed upright but only for Vega to catch him and jerk him back down into a double knee jawbreaker that sent him stumbling all the way back into the ring ropes.
Kevin: Leona is giving Cross all kinds of trouble tonight, and I think she’s found the right formula to get the job done.
Vee: If she wins the title tonight, I’ll eat a shoe and you pick which shoe.
Eric leaned back against the ring ropes as Vega came back to her feet, holding her spine with one hand as she did so before she charged towards her opponent, hopping onto the middle rope as she wrapped her arm around his head and pushed off, looking to spin around and drive him back down into the mat with a tornado DDT. Cross though shoved her away before she could manage it. The Aztec Warrior landed on her feet and with only a glance over her shoulder she took off across the ring, hitting the ropes opposite her opponent and as she came back towards him she went looking for a jumping justice fist only for Cross to step forwards, catching her across the chest in mid air and the big man slammed her down hard into the canvas with an STO. Vega’s back bowed up as she hit the mat.
Vee: That was great! I love watching Leona get caught by Cross!
Kevin: I’m sure you do, and I’m gonna hold you to that deal about eating a shoe.
Leona started to sit up only for the Defiance Champion to pull her the rest of the way up to her feet , only to lift her onto his shoulders and snapped her forwards into an Alabama slam, snapping her forward and slamming her back first into the mat. Vega’s back arched up from the canvas once more, Cross circling around her and drove a kick into her spine as she started to roll over, forcing her over onto her front with a second kick. He stomped down violently onto the middle of the back before he stepped over her and pulled her up into a camel clutch as he hunkered down. McGuire dropped down in front of the Mexican wrestler, asking her if she wanted to quit but got a ‘No’ from her even as Cross pulled back further on under her jaw. The referee asked again but got another ‘No’ which saw Eric alter his grip, holding her head with just one hand as he used the other to begin to club away at her chest, driving forearms into her chest as she did so.
Kevin: I don’t think Cross will ever be able to get Leona to quit or tap out. I just don’t see it happening.
Vee: Well stick around, because I think you will see it. And maybe even some crying.
Mcguire asked the Monterrey native once more, getting another ‘No’ from the challenger which saw Cross release his hold under her jaw but only to grab her a handful of hair instead, coming to his feet as he pulled her to her knees and while the referee reprimanded him and counted to four in search of the break, hammered away at her chest with another series of forearms all the while screaming in her face. As the official reached four, Cross released his hold on her hair only to reach down to grab her wrists, pulling her arms back behind her before planting his foot into her spine for a standing surfboard submission hold. Cross used all of his strength to pull back on her arms while keeping his foot against her body to contort and punish her back. The referee again asked Vega if she wanted to quit, getting a shake of her head.
Kevin: Leona has an iron will, there’s no other way to describe it!
Vee: I think her brain may be made of iron, and probably hollow inside that.
The Alpha still refused to release the hold, jerking on her arms in an effort to make it all the more painful but still Vega refused to submit when the official asked. Once more Cross used his strength to yank violently repeatedly on her arms, pulling her viciously against his planted foot, shouting at her to quit as he did so. Still Vega refused when the official asked the question of her which saw a look of anger flash across the face of the Defiance Champion before he released the hold with a curb stomp to the back of her head, that drove her face into the canvas. Slowly the Monterrey native started to try and push up to all fours only for Cross to start to shove her head away with his feet, he continued to push her around the ring with his foot, telling her that she should’ve walked away while she had the chance; the crowd booing the defending Defiance Champion loudly.
Vee: He’s toying with her now, and this is always fun to watch.
Kevin: He’s going to regret this. You don’t mess around with someone of Leona’s veteran skills.
Despite the repeated shoves to her head, Leona continued to try and rise to her feet which saw Eric smile to himself as he turned his back on Vega and took off across the ring, hitting the opposite ropes and coming back to bring Vega the rest of the way to her feet with a running knee lift to the underside of the jaw. The Mexican native stumbled backwards and Eric hoisted her up onto his shoulders before he fell back into a Samoan drop. Almost mockingly, Cross kipped back up to his feet, holding his arms to his side, causing the crowd to boo him even louder again as he took a couple of moments before he delivered a fist drop into her face. Vega started to sit up, holding her face only to be roughly shoved back to the mat as Cross made the cover, using his palms to press her shoulders down against the mat.
Vee: I think he knocked her out, this is tremendous!
One…
Two…
...THR-
Kevin: Clearly not. That cover was never going to work.
Leona kicked out of the pinfall and Cross, from his knees, shook his head at the referee as McGuire showed him the two count. The Alpha drove a pair of forearms into the side of Leona’s head as he went to pull her up from the canvas as he came to his feet. Once he was upright the big Mancunian scooped her up, holding her upside down for a moment before he dropped her down with the ganso bomb, stacking her up as held for the cover as he landed the move.
Vee: Ohh, can you imagine what that feels like from a man that size? We’ll ask Leona after the ring announcement.
One…
Two…
...THRE-
Kevin: John doesn’t need to get up from his seat just yet. Leona’s still got fight left!
In the nick of time, Leona managed to slam her leg into his face to break up the pinfall and rolled to the side. Cross looked angry as the two count was shown to him once more and he again roughly yanked the challenger back up to her feet, pulling back on her hair to force her to look up at him as he shouted in her face once more before he slapped her hard, letting go of her hair as the referee reached four on the count. As Vega stumbled backwards, the Defiance Champion caught her by the wrist and used all of his strength to Irish whip her into the corner. Leona hit the turnbuckle pads hard and as she did so, her momentum saw her flip up and over the top rope to land on her feet on the ring apron. The Monterrey born wrestler stumbled down the apron and the Alpha measured her up before he came forward and looked to send her off the apron with a bicycle kick...that Leona managed to duck underneath causing Eric to get his leg hung up over the top rope. Before he could withdraw it, Vega hooked her arms around his leg and dropped off the apron to the floor, snapping his leg over the top rope as she did so.
Kevin: Why don’t you give the woman her due? Leona is giving Cross more than he was expecting, I’m sure of it. Besides, he doesn’t have a high opinion of women.
Vee: Untrue. He just doesn’t have a high opinion of boring and wimpy women. What do you think Angela is? A muskrat? That’s a woman!
Cross held his thigh for a couple of seconds before he brought his leg back over the top rope, spinning away and walking gingerly. Vega took those few moments to lean against the mat, holding her back as she did before she slid into the ring behind her foe and took his legs out from under him with a chop block. The Alpha started to force himself back up to his feet only for Vega to deliver a second chop block to the back of his leg, sending him sprawling face first onto the mat. Almost immediately Cross pushed back up to a kneeling position and as he did so, Vega began to unload on him with the El Molinillo series of kicks, aiming at his head, chest and spine, spinning around him as he tried to cover up and protect himself from the shots. Finally she finished off with a roundhouse kick to the back of his head. It sent him down to all fours and Vega leapt into the air and delivered a curb stomp to the back of his head, driving him face first into the mat.
Kevin: Big time curb stomp, and I think Leona can practically feel the title after her waist right now!
Vee: No, that’s just cellulite she’s feeling.
Cross only stayed on his face for a second before he started to push upwards once again, getting to all fours only for Leona to this time use the ring ropes to springboard into the air and spike him down into the mat with a double foot stomp to his shoulder blades. The Alpha rolled over onto his back following the move and Vega dropped an elbow into his chest before she made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.
Kevin: That’s one hell of a double stomp from the challenger, and we might be about to crown a new champion!
One…
Two…
Vee: Not at all. You accuse me of underestimating people, and you think a big stomp will stop the Defiance Champion?
Cross kicked out strongly yet again, sending Leona rolling away from him and into the ropes. She held her back with one hand as she used the ropes to pull herself back to her feet, watching as Cross beat her to a vertical base and turned towards him...only for Leona to skip forwards and catch him with a superkick to his knee cap. Eric stumbled slightly, trying to keep his feet underneath him which allowed the Aztec Warrior to catch him with a superkick to the jaw. The Defiance Champion’s leg turned to spaghetti underneath him but he managed to stay upright at least until Leona charged towards him and left her feet, grabbing his head as she did so and spun around and around and around and around him before she drove him down into the mat with the Orbit DDT. Vega dropped to her knees next to her opponent and dug in with her shoulder to roll him to his back before flinging herself on top of him, reaching to hook his leg for the cover as she did so.
Kevin: That’s one of her favorite moves, the orbit DDT! This could be over!
One…
Two…
…TH-
Well it’s not. I keep telling you that she doesn’t have what it takes.
Cross kicked out and Leona looked to the referee with three fingers held up only to nod in acceptance of the two count as she popped back up to her feet and took off across the ring and returned to deliver a busaiku knee strike to the face of the Alpha as he sat up, causing him to collapse backwards to the mat. A moment later he rolled to his side, holding his head and as he started to push upwards, Leona shook her head and reached down to push her knee pad out of the way, exposing her knee before she moved towards her opponent, taking hold of his head and jerking him down into a single knee facebreaker. Cross reeled backwards, holding his nose, struggling to keep his balance as Vega took off towards the nearest set of ropes, hopping onto the middle rope as he turned to face her only for Leona to springboard off and catch him with a perfectly timed knee strike; ramming that exposed knee into his jaw. Eric staggered backwards from the impact, only managing to stay upright for two steps before he dropped down to one knee which gave Leona the perfect opening to hook both of his arms and spike his skull down into the mat with a double arm DDT before she rolled him over and made the cover, hooking his legs as best she could.
Kevin: Another big time DDT from Vega, and this might be the cover that gets the job done!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Vee: Keep dreaming, Kevin. She doesn’t have what it takes. How many times do I need to say it?
Cross kicked out just before the three count could be completed and Leona pushed up to her knees, asking the referee for the three but again got the two confirmed to her once more. She looked at the referee for a couple of moments before she nodded her head in agreement and moved towards the corner. She climbed up to the top rope and waved the Defiance Champion to his feet. The Alpha was already rising and when he made it to his feet she launched herself off the top rope and into a meteora, driving both knees into his chest and sending him back to the canvas, landing on top of his chest as she did so. Quickly she reached back to hook one of his legs and got as low as possible for as much leverage as possible in the cover.
Vee: Don’t you say she’s gonna do it this time! I’m sick of hearing that fake news!
One…
Two…
...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin: That was the closest of them all! Leona CAN do it!
At the last possible moment, Eric’s shoulder came up from the canvas to break up the pinfall. Leona asked the referee for a three count, almost staring at him in disbelief as he showed her the two and she asked again for the three, almost begging and pleading with the look in her eyes for Mcguire to ring the bell and raise her hand. Instead he showed her the two again, explaining that the shoulder came up in the nick of time but there was only a matter of millimetres in it. Leona nodded her head in acceptance and came to her feet, waving her arms to urge the crowd to get loud. The obliged her wishes as she moved in behind the rising Alpha, hooking his head as he pushed up from the canvas and gave the crowd the sign for the Warrior’s Wing to get them even louder. But as she did so, the Defiance Champion stood up, lifting Leona off her feet and drove her back into the canvas with a side suplex before he rolled away, holding his head as he did so.
Kevin: That’s the sign for the WARRIOR’S WI---
Vee: Hold that thought! She got caught again! I love it!
Both wrestlers were slow to rise; the Defiance Champion holding his head while Leona favoured her back, the referee checking on both and beginning a very slow count. He made it as far as five before both wrestlers were up to one knee and then up onto their feet. Vega immediately began to fire off stiff kicks into her opponent’s legs, causing him to stumble slightly but only managed to land three blows before she was stopped in her tracks with a huge European uppercut that caused her to stagger backwards. A second European uppercut followed that from the Mancunian that dropped Leona to her knees and before she could rise, he delivered a third that snapped her head backwards and caused her to sit back on her heels. Cross took a moment to stand over her before he lifted her upwards onto his shoulders and dropped her into a fireman’s carry gutbuster.
Vee: I think Leona’s intestines just got smashed against her spinal column! Can we see that again in slow motion?
Kevin: That one hurt me just to watch it, Good Lord!
Vega curled up on the mat, holding her stomach in pain, kicking her feet in agony as Cross again took a couple of moments, rubbing his jaw before he again came to his feet and waved Leona upwards. As the Monterrey native slowly started to push up and come to her knees, he raised his hands into the air, clasping them over his head and drove them down into the top of her head with a sledgehammer type blow that also signalled for the Alpha-Bomb. Quickly he pulled her upwards and into position before he snapped off the double underhook powerbomb, spiking her back down into the canvas. Vega’s back immediately arched upwards as she writhed in pain and Cross shook his head, refusing to go for the cover as he pulled Vega back up to her feet and lifted her onto his shoulders before he took off towards the nearest corner and delivered a turnbuckle powerbomb, pulling her straight out of the corner and into a raised knee before he lifted her up from the mat once more and delivered a second Alpha-Bomb - this one even more vicious than the last as Leona bounced on the mat before going limp on the mat. Cross dropped down to one knee and placed one hand in the middle of the chest, raising the other hand in the air in victory as McGuire made the count.
Vee: The ALPHA-BOMB!! Mark it down, this is over!
One…
Two…
...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin: Unfortunately….you’re right! Leona came within a whisker of taking the title though!
McGuire called for the bell and raised Eric’s hand in the air as the Alpha stayed on one knee. Eric told him to go get his title as he looked over to Angela on the outside, giving her a nod of the head. It immediately saw her start to look underneath the ring apron, pulling out three folding chairs from underneath.
John: Here is your winner by way of pinfall… AND STILL SVW DEFIANCE CHAMPION… “ALPHA” ERIC CROSS!!!
Kevin: Now what? He’s won the match, what does this prove?
Vee: Leona got on his nerves. When he’s done, she won’t ever do it again! I love it!
Quickly she set up two of the chairs on the floor near the ring ropes facing each other, laying the third folded chair between them as McGuire returned with the Defiance Championship which he handed to Cross. Eric raised it high in the air, getting booed by the crowd before he laid it out on the mat and grabbed hold of Leona by the head, pressing her face into the mat in front of the title, telling her that she’d never get it while he was Champion before he looked over at the chairs with a grin and went to pull Leona upwards. He got Vega to her feet and moved her near the ring ropes before he raised his hands over his head, clasping them together to give the sign for the Alpha-bomb and pointed towards the chairs. He deliberately under hooked one of the Mexican’s arms, piefacing Mcguire backwards as the official tried to stop him and then under hooked her other arm and grinned out at the crowd who started to cheer loudly as a figure exploded out of the back with a chair in hand and sprinted down to the ring.
Kevin: Cross is out of control, and now----who’s this?!
Vee: It’s fucking VIVI! Goddamn it! Hashtag Vivi ruins everything!
Cross went to lift Leona upward only to drop her straight back down onto her knees as he throw himself over the top rope and dropped to the floor, just in time to avoid a wild swing of the chair from Vivi Robichaud. Another wild swing followed that one, as Robichaud tried to catch him unawares over the ropes, the Alpha stepping smartly out of the way in the nick of time as Angela quickly slithered in and out of the ring to retrieve the title belt.
Vee: I have a feeling Vivi’s gonna learn the hard way what Leona had to learn tonight.
Kevin: I’m glad she was here, thank goodness for that.
He stared a hole through Vivi as she checked on Leona without taking her eyes off the Defiance Champion, Eric wrapping an arm around Angela as the pair started to head towards the entrance ramp, Cross keeping his eyes locked on Vivi as they did so before the show cut elsewhere.
The Family Business
The next thing we see is an unfamiliar face, to say the least. But the woman standing behind him is anything but, that being Emma Mackenzie. They are joined by Dexter McKenna.
Dexter: Fans, I’d like to introduce you to the newest addition to the SVW roster. The woman with him needs no introduction, as that’s obviously Emma Mackenzie. But this is her son, Kevin. Now the youngest member of the SVW roster, and no doubt looking to blaze his own trail as a result. Welcome to SVW, Kevin.
Kevin: Hi, Dexter! It’s nice to meet you properly. And thank you for introducing me. No pressure on me or anything, not when this woman gave birth to me!
He motions behind him at his mother. Emma, meanwhile, shakes her head and has a small smile on her face.
Emma: You’ll be fine, kid. Not like you haven’t been working for this...behind my back or otherwise.
Dexter: I did hear from a reliable source about that actually. And that source was your husband, Emma. He had mentioned to me recently he had been bringing along a new talent on the way to SVW. He just didn’t specify exactly who it is. And given the disparity on the roster, I assumed it might be a new female star. I had no idea it would be your son.
Emma: I’d say it is fair to argue that this entire process is something I’ve largely been in the dark about. I knew Kevin wanted to wrestle, though I can’t say I was into the idea given my own history--
Kevin: You straight up told me “no”.
Emma: And why. Regardless, he went off to train originally behind my back, then when all that went to hell, he worked with Ryan and Christian. Mostly Ryan, they’re built similarly so there were advantages to that. But this particular thing I didn’t know anything about until Friday. That was a nice surprise!
Kevin scrunches his face up.
Kevin: I’ll be honest, mom, it was as much worry that you’d say no again as it was just wanting to go ahead with it. As I’m sure most would be able to work out, I’ve been watching for a long time and really liked the idea of diving into it. And mom has the unfortunate issue of I’m her child and just as wilful as she is!
Dexter: Aside of that, Kevin, I assume you’ve been following SVW for a while at this point. Who are some of the people on the roster that you admire? Do you have any favorites?
Kevin: Well I think the most obvious one is Christian. And that’s not just favouritism in the fact he’s been in my life since I was about six. I wanted to fly like him but it doesn’t quite work out that way sometimes. But apart from the people that mom is friends with, ‘cause I tend to like them too, we’re talking about people like Colby and Lacey. Two very different people, obviously, but they’re people who I really like to watch for different reasons. There’s just something about them that I could watch all the time and not get bored of it.
Dexter: Are you more inclined right now to just get your feet wet, so to speak? Or is there a particular division of interest? Maybe Chaos like your mom. I know you said you weren’t much of a high flyer, so I guess that rules out Adrenaline.
Kevin: Right now it’s definitely a case of getting my feet wet. Chaos matches aren’t something I’ve really explored as an option, but that’s largely a lack of experience - I don’t tend to work with people who like those matches and mom refuses. Adrenaline is pretty well out since I do tend to be more ground based. But for the moment I’m definitely happy to just jump in and see where the wind takes me.
Dexter: Plus if you find yourself in too much trouble, I’m sure you have some fantastic backup, especially with all the groups that run around in SVW. You mentioned Lacey, part of the Gold Standard. Who knows? One day, you might find yourself across the ring from her.
Emma: Don’t look to me for backup unless someone’s about to kill you, kiddo. You wanted to dive in, you’ll deal with all the shit that comes with it.
Kevin: Sure. I don’t think I’d be in a position to be against Lacey for a while, but that’s a definite possibility! And I’ll be going against a lot of people I look up to in this setting.
Dexter: Kevin, I look forward to your debut and I’m sure everyone watching Rampage tonight on SVW Unlimited does too. Good luck, and welcome aboard.
Dexter shakes his hand before the show heads back to the ring for the next match.

John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and it is for the SVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!
Kevin: I’ve been waiting a while for this rematch, and I know the Storm have been too. I’ve got DOC out here with me for this match. Welcome back to the booth.
DOC: Glad to be here! I know I might have bet against the challengers back at Extreme Prejudice, but I’m not going to make the same mistake twice.
The lights dim and then "No One Will Survive" by CFO$ begins to play as smoke gathers at the entrance. After a few moments Veronica Chandler walks out followed by Dante Knox and then by her clients Kristina Spencer and Michelle Storm. Michelle stands on the top of the ramp with a huge smirk on her face as she looks over at Kristina who is wearing shades and a leather jacket and has her barbwire bat dragging on the floor. She lowers her sunglasses as the lights come up and scoffs at the crowd before her. She pushes her sunglasses back up on her face and shakes her head in disappointment as Michelle looks on in distaon as well. Michelle, Dante and Veronica make their way down the aisle making sure not to allow the crowd to touch any of them or Kristina who looks ready to pounch on any fan stupid enough to touch her.
John: Coming down the aisle accompanied by Vivacious Vee and Dante Knox hailing from The City Of Angels and Sin City, and weighing in at a combined two hundred fifty pounds - “THE WICKED” KRISTINA SPENCER & MICHELLE STORM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Collectively known as THE WICKED STORM!!!!!!!!!
Dante climbs to the apron and holds the ropes open for Veronica and Michelle who have climbed up onto the ring apron. Kristina walks around the ring slamming her bat down on the ring steps before slamming her bat onto the announce table freaking Kevin out. Kristina finally slides into the ring and raises her barbwire bat into the air as Michelle drops to her knees n front of her partner and extends her arms to the side getting cheers from hardcore fans and jeers from everybody else. Veronica stands off to the side applauding her clients and talking with Dante. Michelle scales the ropes in a corner and demands the crowd show them respect. Kristina stares at the referee and stalks him into a corner before Veronica walks over and gives him instructions on how to referee the match. Kristina then removes her shades and jacket and hands her barbwire bat to Veronica. Michelle removes her mask and cape and hands them to Veronica as well and then starts loosening up with shadow boxing as Kristina lays across the ropes behind her in the corner.
DOC: I thought Vivacious Vee wasn’t going to be allowed at ringside. Or Dante either, for that matter.
Kevin: They’re not, and---hold that thought, DOC.
Roger Weatherby was the official in charge and headed towards the corner, telling Vee and Dante to leave ringside. Both managers seemed to refuse as Kristina and Michelle both headed towards the official, looking to intimidate him, only for the referee to stand his ground as he laid down the law, telling them it was Christian Kincaid’s decree - they could leave on their own or arrested and dragged out in handcuffs and if either Kristina or Michelle touched him then they’d forfeit the match. Vee looked to be encouraging them to take the referee’s head but Dante held his hands, reminding Vee that Kristina and Michelle would overcome the odds regardless and win back the championships. While Kristina and Michelle continued to berate the referee and leave him in no doubt over how he should officiate this contest, Dante and Vee were reluctantly heading back up the entrance ramp.
Kevin: Christian is a man of his word, and we’re actually going to have a straight up tag match without all the nonsense Vee and Dante bring to ringside.
DOC: Yeah, maybe. But ol’ DOC never minds looking at Vee. She’s a mighty fine looking woman.
John: Introducing the champions…
The arena falls dark as the opening of “Blonde, Bad and Beautiful” by Airbourne plays, Kelly explodes upward out of the middle of the stage as though shot out of a cannon, landing a perfect front somersault in a shower of blue sparks. As she lands she holds her title belt high over her head. The girl is joined by Christian Kincaid on the stage. Turning to face her husband, she turns to face him, giving him a big hug as she plants a kiss to his lips. As the music starts to pick up pace once more she starts to run toward the ring, performing a quick cartwheel into a handspring before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Using the momentum to her advantage, the former acrobat forward rolls to her feet and leaps onto the middle rope. She springboards off the ropes into a backflip and heads towards the corner. The former acrobat runs straight up the pads. Stopping on the top turnbuckle she blows a kiss to the fans, holds her title belt high in the air and then found herself jerked backwards off the turnbuckle viciously, causing her to crash face first into the mat.
Kevin: Kelly’s amped up and ready for action! She looks---
DOC: She looks like someone’s trying to mug her before she even gets introduced by the Wicked Storm.
Immediately Kristina and Michelle grabbed hold of the blonde’s foot, raising her leg into the air and spiked her bad knee downwards into the canvas, doing it a second and a third time as the crowd cheered loudly as they saw Missy explode out of the back and charge down the entrance ramp, dropping her title belt halfway down. The Wicked Storm again spiked Kelly’s knee into the canvas before Kristina waved Michelle towards Missy. As the Englishwoman slid in under the bottom rope, she pushed upwards and immediately hurled herself towards Storm, catching her in the midriff and driving her down to the canvas. As Missy took up the mount position and began to pound away at Michelle, Storm covered up as Kristina grabbed hold of Kelly’s ankle once more sliding out of the ring under the bottom rope as she kept hold of it, pulling her towards the ring post and slammed the side of her leg into the ring post three times in quick succession.
Kevin: It’s pandemonium right out of the gate! The Storm are hellbent on getting the tag titles back!
DOC: No kidding, but I think the champions are pretty content with holding on them a while longer.
Kelly writhed in pain, holding her knee as she tried to push back away from the ring post while Michelle managed to monkey flip Missy off of her. The Englishwoman hit the canvas near Kelly and immediately got back to her feet as Michelle was still rising and before the brunette half of the Champions could do anything, Kristina grabbed hold of her ankle from the outside which allowed Storm to dart forwards and catch Missy with a codebreaker. Missy bounced off her knees and fell through the ropes to the outside, immediately she started to pull herself up as Michelle headed towards Kelly, pulling her up to her feet and shoving her backwards into the corner where she fed her leg over the middle rope before she reached down and yanked up viciously on her foot, using the rope for additional leverage as she demanded the referee called for the bell to start the match. Reluctantly, Weatherby, with all four competitors present; Dante and Vee in the back and with a Champion and a Challenger in the ring, he called for the bell. Immediately he called for the break and started the count, getting to four before Michelle stepped backwards with her hands raised.
Kevin: We got one hell of a pre-match, but now the tag titles are officially on the line.
DOC: This thing has all the ingredients to blow up again though. DOC doesn’t envy this referee at all.
It was only a momentary respite for Kelly as Storm almost immediately began to fire off kicks into the side of the former acrobats knee. Again the referee told her to let Kelly out of the corner, starting the count as he did and once more he got to four before Storm pulled the blonde out of the corner and into a knee breaker. Kelly once more writhed in pain, reaching to clutch hold of her knee as Kristina headed towards the Wicked Storm corner and climbed to the middle turnbuckle, inciting the crowd as she made the title belt motion around her waist while Missy slid back into the ring and immediately skipped towards Michelle, looking to catch the legal half of Wicked Storm with a superkick to the jaw. Storm saw it coming at the very last moment and fell backwards as she avoided the blow, landing on her ass and immediately demanded that the referee get Missy out of the ring as Weatherby was already moving towards her, telling the Englishwoman that she wasn’t the legal woman.
DOC: Weatherby is a brave man to be in amidst four very angry women, and him trying to maintain order. Ever been around that many angry women at once?
Kevin: Not that many at the same time, no. And I’m with you, that would be a very concerning moment for any man.
Missy backed up, arguing with the referee as Michelle came back to her feet and found Kelly was using the ring ropes to pull herself up. Storm grinned and the moment that Kincaid was upright, the Wicked Storm member caught her with a low blow. The New Yorker started to drop down to her knees but Storm grabbed hold of the leg that they had been working on, lifting it up so the kneecap rested on her shoulder before she dropped to her knees as Missy stepped through the ropes and grabbed the tag rope. Kelly let out a short cry of pain as she fell forwards, grabbing hold of the top rope to keep herself upwards only for Michelle to wrap her arms around her waist, yanking her away from the ropes as the referee returned his attention to the action in time to see Storm lift Kelly up, marching towards the Wicked Storm corner before she used an atomic drop. Kincaid bounced forwards into the corner where Kristina caught her with an enzuigiri to her face, causing the New Yorker to fall back to the canvas.
Kevin: We’ve got two former Adrenaline Champions teeing off here, and right now, Kristina is rattling Kelly’s brains.
DOC: Kelly can take a lot of punishment though, we know this. And we also know Kristina loves giving it out.
Michelle was still grinning as she kept on the attack, grabbing hold of Kelly’s leg, draping her ankle over the bottom rope and held it there with her foot as she launched herself into the air and delivered a stomp to the knee. Again she placed the foot across the bottom rope and delivered another bouncing stomp to the knee. Again she placed the foot across the rope, holding it there with her foot as she made the tag to Kristina and then delivered an elbow drop to Kelly’s knee. Michelle slithered out of the ring as Spencer climbed to the top rope, Storm once more placing Kelly’s foot over the bottom rope and holding it there from the outside as Kristina came off the top rope with a double foot stomp to the knee. The New Yorker cried out loudly in pain as she immediately rolled away, reaching for her knee cap but didn’t get far before Kristina dropped to the canvas where she made a lazy cover on the Champion, counting the fall with the referee to the boos of the crown.
Kevin: No way this cover works on a woman like Kelly.
One…
Two…
DOC: Amen and hallelujah, you got to at least hook a leg.
Kelly kicked out and Kristina looked very put out at her opponent’s insolence before her expression turned mean and went straight back to work on the knee, pinning it against the canvas and kicking up into the air to deliver three double knee strikes to the joint before she came up to her feet and started to stomp away at the knee. Once more the referee demanded that the blonde is allowed to come up from the canvas, starting the count and as he reached four, Kristina stooped to grab hold of her foe’s foot, pulling her towards the Wicked Storm corner before applying a figure four, dropping down to the mat as she locked it in. Kelly shook her head, refusing to submit, even as Kristina pushed up on her palms, arching her back as she did to apply more pressure in the hold. Still Kincaid refused to submit, which saw Spencer tell her that she could keep this locked in all day and began to fire off fists into the injured knee.
DOC: Kristina’s not wrong. I mean this doesn’t take a lot of effort to keep applied.
Kevin: You’re right, but I can’t remember a time I ever saw Kelly tap out during a match in all the years I’ve watched her.
The referee asked the question again as Kelly was pulling at her hair but still refused to submit, shaking her head as she did so. Spencer reached up and made the tag to her partner. Storm entered the ring and while the submission was still locked in, Michelle viciously began to stomp away at the leg and knee while the referee ordered the break and told Kristina to leave the ring, counting her out. He got to four before Spencer released and rolled to the side and out underneath the bottom rope. The referee then went to back up Michelle, telling her to let Kelly up from the canvas which allowed Kincaid to roll to the ropes and start to pull herself upwards. Michelle stood back and watched as Kelly made it to her feet and tried to step away, immediately stumbling as she tried to put weight on her injured leg; the blonde catching the top rope to stay on her feet which saw Storm mock her as she limped a little before she launched herself into a chop block to the back of Kelly’s leg taking her down to the mat once more.
DOC: The Storm are doing a helluva job here, Kevin. They may be a terror around here, but they know how to get the job done.
Kevin: You don’t hold tag titles as long as the Storm did without having the fundamentals down pat. They certainly do.
Kelly held her knee for a moment before she grabbed hold of the ropes and started to pull herself upright as Michelle once more watched her, mockingly limping as she did so. Kincaid made it to her feet and stumbled into the neutral corner which saw Storm crack her knuckles as she stepped forwards and began to unload with a series of gut shots to her body. Again the referee called for the break and was forced into using the count, getting to four before Michelle stepped backwards to the middle of the ring, asking Missy if she loved watching this before she skipped forwards and drove a pump kick into Kelly’s bad knee. Kincaid fell forwards onto her knees, letting out another cry of pain and tried to rise back upwards only for Michelle to jerk her forwards and straight into a release overhead belly to belly suplex. Storm rolled to the side and tagged in Kristina Spencer.
Kevin: Kelly desperately needs a tag, and her partner is sitting on ready to do some damage if she ever makes it over to her.
DOC: I think the key word you just said there is “if”, and comes Kristina again.
Kristina entered the ring as Kelly was trying to pull herself upwards, holding her knee and the Wicked Storm members exchanged words before they took off in opposite directions, Storm coming off the ropes behind Kelly as Kristina came off the ones in front of her as the two delivered a flying shoulder tackle, chop block combination that saw Kelly hit the mat hard. The referee demanded Michelle leave the ring and started the count only for both members of the Wicked Storm to instead pull Kelly upwards, hooking her head and went to deliver a double suplex only for Kelly to slip out of their grasp and land on her feet behind them near their corner. She let out a cry of pain as she landed, dropping down to one knee with a look of agony on her face but as Michelle and Kristina turned to face her, the blonde exploded off the canvas, launching herself towards them both with a perfect double clothesline that sent them both to the mat as Kelly landed on the canvas face down again.
Kevin: Kelly has explosiveness when she needs it, and you just saw it right there.
DOC: Now’s the time to get to the corner, and bring in Missy.
Missy was clapping her hands in the corner, trying to rally the crowd behind Kelly, the fans were getting loud as Michelle rolled out of the ring. Kincaid pushed up on her palms and looked across the ring towards her partner, the Leeds born wrestler holding out her hand, stretching into the ring as far as she could and Kelly began to drag herself across the ring towards her. She barely made any headway before Kristina grabbed hold of her foot and went to pull her backwards. The legal half of the Tag Team Champions pushed upwards, getting her foot underneath her as she was dragged backwards only for Spencer to shove her roughly back into the Wicked Storm corner. Spencer immediately stepped forwards to put everything that she had into a European uppercut that snapped Kelly’s head backwards. Kristina spun around and delivered three more European uppercuts. Michlle returned to the corner as her partner went to pull Kelly out of the corner with a two handed bulldog only for Kincaid to try and grab hold of the top rope before her leg gave out underneath her causing her to collapse to one knee unexpectedly as Spencer tried to jerk her out of the corner which caused Kristina to crash down into the canvas.
DOC: The chemistry between the challengers is hard to overcome, especially when the other team has had a grand total of about 2 matches together including tonight.
Kevin: You build that over time working together. I’m sure Kelly and Missy will get there if they stay champions long enough, but it’s not looking promising tonight.
Kristina quickly came back to her feet and charged towards Kelly who raised her boot and caught her rushing forwards in the jaw. Spencer reeled away and Kincaid caught Michelle with an elbow strike to the side of her jaw. Again the Wicked tried to catch the New Yorker by surprise but once more received a big boot to the jaw before Kelly turned out of the corner, holding the ropes as she did so and leapt up onto the middle rope, coming off it with a springboard side kick into Storm’s face, sending her off the apron and to the floor. Kelly landed on one foot, hopping towards Kristina and drove a superkick into her jaw, snapping her head back before she fell backwards like a tree at the hands of the lumberjack while Kelly fell backwards onto her butt, holding her knee in agony.
Kevin: What we have here is a one-legged woman in a butt-kicking contest, and I’m not sure how long Kelly can keep this up.
DOC: Me either. I saw her last match over in FFW where her opponent worked over her knee. Apparently the Storm watched it too.
Kristina took a moment before she started to get up and Kelly forced herself to do likewise, the pair making it to their feet at their same time and the SVW Tag Team Champion forced herself forwards, launching herself into the air to land on Spencer’s shoulders where she snapped off a headscissor’s takedown, sending the Wicked Storm member into a neutral corner. The blonde came out of the move and rolled towards her corner, launching herself at full stretch to where Missy had her hand outstretched...and only got air as Michelle jerked Missy off the apron and to the floor. Immediately Storm threw a haymaker at the Leeds native only for the shot to get blocked as Missy immediately started to deliver a flurry of blows Storm’s head. In the ring, Kristina managed to grab hold of Kelly’s ankle, lifting her leg into the air and driving her knee first into the canvas once more before she started to drag her back towards the Wicked Storm corner.
DOC: DOC gotta hand it to Kelly, she’s still trying to persevere here.
Kevin: That’s what makes her one of the best in the business, and has been for years.
On the outside, Missy followed up her volley of flying first with an enzuigiri to the side of Storm’s head. It stumbled Michelle backwards and before she could recover Missy caught her with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head, causing her to spin around which saw the Leeds born wrestler hurl her down onto the metal steps with a german suplex. As Michelle rolled to her side while laying on the stairs, Missy climbed up past her, driving a stiff kick into her back to send her down to the floor as the Englishwoman returned to her corner and began to stomp her foot, encouraging the crowd to get louder. In the ring, Kristina was looking to spike Kelly’s knee into the mat once more but as she lifted her upwards, Kelly surprised her, using her upper body strength to shove up from the canvas and catch her with her free boot to the jaw, causing her to let go. Kelly used the momentum to come into a handstand as she flipped to her feet.
Kevin: Look at that athleticism from Kincaid!
DOC: No kidding, and sometimes DOC just has trouble staying on the sidewalk!
The boos of the fans prompted the acrobat to look over her shoulder, Kristina was already starting to advance on her so Kelly launched herself to deliver a back elbow to her jaw, followed by a second before she hobbled forwards, turned and then took off towards Kristina with a shotgun dropkick, driving her feet into her chest and driving her back into the corner. Again the blonde forced herself back up to her feet, Spencer staggering forwards, holding her back as she did so only for Kelly to leave her feet once more and jerk her down into a single knee facebreaker. As it landed, Kincaid, rolled onto her front, keeping her injured leg extended and started to scramble across the ring and dove to make the tag to Missy. The Leeds native immediately hopped over the top rope and into a dropkick to the chest of the on rushing Kristina that caused her to step backwards before Missy used a Tornado DDT to put her back down on the canvas.
Kevin: Here comes Missy, and that’s nothing but bad news for the challengers!
DOC: The FFW Champion had all this time to watch her partner get wrecked, and she’s got all the motivation in the world.
Spencer was only down for a moment before she started to rise, holding her head as she did so. She made it to her feet, doubled over and never got a chance to straighten up as Missy caught her with a running, leaping knee strike to the side of her head. It dropped Kirstina to her hands and knees and Missy immediately wrapped her arms around her waist and jerked her up into a gutwrench suplex. Again Missy rose to her feet and as Kristina sat up, she ran the ropes, bouncing off the ones immediately in front of the Wicked and caught her with a sliding forearm into her jaw, knocking her flat on the canvas again before the Leeds born wrestler made the cover.
DOC: I hope that was a Tic-Tac I saw fly out of Kristina’s mouth!
One…
Two…
...THR--
Kevin: Spencer’s still very much in this, and you know what? I don’t think Missy minds!
Kristina kicked out and found herself pulled upwards by the legal half of the Tag Champions as Missy used a single knee facebreaker to keep her on the back foot, following that up with a bicycle kick to the side of the head. Spencer spun slightly, dropping down to one knee and holding her jaw as she did so. Quickly the challenger tried to push upwards and as she did so, Missy grabbed hold of her and used a t-bone suplex to hurl her into the neutral corner, that saw Kristina hit the turnbuckle pads, landing upside down and hard on her shoulders on the mat. Spencer tried to pull herself out of the corner but as she did so, Missy pulled her up, scooping her off her feet and placing her in a tree of woe in the corner. Quickly the Leeds born wrestler started to fire off a series of quick kicks into her body, Weatherby calling for the break and using the count to get Missy to back up. The former Defiance Champion backed up across the ring, measuring up Kristina as she struggled to get up and free herself only for Missy to set off towards her...and get caught with a spear that drove her down into the canvas from Storm.
Kevin: A spear all the way from Leeds!! Missy folded her in half!
DOC: Oh, that makes my body hurt watching that. I don’t want to think how Kristina feels.
Quickly Michelle went to get into the mount position where she started to rain elbow strikes into the Englishwoman’s head, Missy covered up but as she did so the barrage was cut short as Kelly came off the top rope with an elbow drop into the back of Storm’s head. Michelle rolled away as Kristina managed to pull herself up into a sitting position on the top rope and then started to stand, turning to face the ring as she did so before she launched herself off into a double axe handle smash aimed at Missy only for the Englishwoman to step to the side and catch her as she landed with a fist buried into her midsection. Spencer stumbled forwards, cradling her gut only for Missy to grab hold of her shoulders and jerk her back into a backstabber. Meanwhile, Kelly had forced herself back up to her feet and used the ring ropes as a springboard to catch Michelle with a neckbreaker before she mounted her and began to fire off right and left hands into the side of her head.
Kevin: Look at those blistering combinations from Missy! That’s what you call fists of fire right there!
DOC: You ain’t never lied, Kevin! Missy would do alright in women’s boxing watching this.
Michelle rolled the New Yorker off her and Kincaid used the ropes to pull herself quickly up to her feet and immediately snapped off a roundhouse kick to the side of Storm’s head. Kelly’s face immediately became a mask of pain as she connected with her bad leg but Michelle staggered a slightly, long enough for the blonde to grab her by the back of the head and send her over the top rope to the outside. Weatherby moved towards Kelly, telling her to get out of the ring only for the former SVW Champion to be paying him attention at all, watching as Storm was getting back to a vertical base before Kincaid used the rope to slingshot herself over the top, catching Michelle on the way down and planting her into the floor with a DDT. In the ring, Missy had pulled the legal half of the Challengers upright and sent her into the corner once more, following after her and delivered a double knee strike into Spencer’s chest. Kristina stumbled out of the corner and as she did so, the Englishwoman lifted her up and into a snap brainbuster, making the cover as she did so while Kelly pulled herself towards the Champion’s corner.
Kevin: All 12 of Kristina’s brain cells are upside down, and that brainbuster just scattered them! This is over!
One…

...THR-
DOC: Ol’ Kristina can take a licking, and DOC ain’t touching that brain cell comment.
Kristina kicked out and Missy stared over at the referee, nodding her head in acceptance of the count and the Englishwoman pulled her foe up to her feet and started to drive home rapid fire forearms to her jaw. Spencer staggered backwards from the barrage only to be sent back down to the canvas by a bicycle knee strike from the former Defiance Champion. Once more Spencer looked to rise quickly, but as she pushed up from the canvas, Missy fired off a series of stiff kicks into her legs and body, finishing off with a flash kick to the jaw as the Wicked made it to a vertical base. It caused Spencer to stagger back, falling into the ropes to keep herself upright. Missy grabbed hold of her wrist and jerked her opponent into a raised knee to the gut before she whipped her across the ring and the Yorkshire born wrestler caught her opponent on the return with a spinning heel kick. Kristina hit the mat and rolled to the side before she started to sit up and as she did caught a sliding knee strike to the face from Missy. Spencer held her nose as she lay back on the mat, the Englishwoman rolling out underneath the bottom rope to the apron and popped up to her feet, using the top rope to launch herself into a somersault leg drop across Kristina’s chest. Missy then made the cover and hooked the leg as she did so.
Kevin: Can Missy fly or what?! That was fantastic!
One…

...THRE--
DOC: DOC agrees, but damn if Kristina ain’t just a damage sponge in the ring.
The Wicked rolled her shoulder once again and Missy looked towards Weatherby, nodding her head in acceptance of the count as she pulled Spencer upwards and slammed her back down into the canvas with an STO. Quickly the Englishwoman headed towards the corner, climbing to the top rope before she launched herself off and into a moonsault which connected perfectly. Once more Missy made the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.
DOC: More of Missy’s aerial assault, and here’s another cover!
One....
Two…
...THRE--
Kevin: Kristina won’t stay down, but I’m positive Missy has more for her.
Kristina didn’t move a muscle this move, Weatherby stopping the count thanks to Michelle grabbing hold of the Englishwoman by the hair and pulling her off of her partner to hang over the apron before she let go. Missy stared at her angrily as she backed up, hands raised, eyes flicking up to Weatherby as the official reprimanded her for breaking up the count from the outside even as she told the referee to keep the Englishwoman away from her and began to head towards the Wicked Storm corner. Missy shook her head as she came back to her feet, holding the ropes and told her she’d better keep her distance. Still Storm distracted the referee, telling him to keep her in the ring which allowed Kristina to catch Missy with a low blow right between her legs. Missy began to fold up to her knees but the Challenger stopped her, grabbing hold of her hair and slamming her face first into the top turnbuckle ten times. The crowd booed Kristina loudly as she jerked Missy away and marched her over to the Wicked Storm corner, slamming the Brit face first into the top turnbuckle ten more times as she ignored the referee’s instruction to release the hair, only letting go as the official count reached four and only then it was with a hair mare that sent her down to the canvas. Missy sat on the mat for a moment, slumped forwards and held her neck, only for Kristina to push up onto the middle rope and come off with a double foot stomp to the back of her head.
Kevin: That double stomp to the back of Missy’s head is a brutal shot, but the Storm have no remorse for anything. They just want to wreck the champions.
DOC: Wreck them and retake their tag titles, yes.
Missy fell to the side, holding her neck as she did so and Kristina immediately pulled her upright and used a dragon suplex to hurl her backwards into the turnbuckle pads in the Wicked Storm corner. Spencer pulled herself back to her feet with the help of the ropes and started to stomp away at her opponent’s body as Michelle played to the crowd on the floor, causing them to boo louder before she hopped up onto the apron and took the tag from Kristina. Immediately Michelle stepped through the ropes and together both members of the challengers put their boots into the body of the Champion; Weatherby telling Spencer to leave the ring. The Wicked did so just before the count reached five and was immediately tagged back in by Michelle as Storm pressed her boot against Missy’s throat to choke her out. The referee counted Storm down, getting the break as Spencer entered the ring. Michelle pulled Missy out of the corner and lifted her up into position for a piledriver as Kristina climbed up to the middle rope and launched herself as the challengers delivered a spike piledriver. Storm rolled away and headed towards Kelly, daring her to come into the ring as Kristina made the cover and hooked the leg, Weatherby sliding into position to make the count.
Kevin: A spike piledriver….I don’t know if Missy or anyone else could get up from this!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
DOC: She withstood it, that’s just part of what obviously makes her the reigning FFW Champion.
Missy’s shoulder came up at the last moment and the Wicked shook her head as Weatherby confirmed the two count and headed towards Storm, demanding she get out of the ring. Michelle looked disappointed for a moment and turned to leave the ring only to suddenly rush backwards and deliver a low dropkick to Kelly’s injured knee, sending her off the apron before she got back to her feet and headed towards the Wicked Storm corner as the referee directed, getting read the riot act as she did so. Meanwhile Kristina pulled Missy to her feet and delivered the Handful of Fun boobplex, sending her down to the mat. Spencer took a couple of seconds before she started to come to her feet, Missy coming upright at the same time and Kristina used the ring ropes to launch herself into the Air Crazy springboard stunner. As Missy hit the mat once more, Spencer headed towards the corner, climbing to the top rope and launched herself backwards into an attempted Wicked Good Time...Missy though saw it coming and at the last moment she rolled out of the way, causing her to land hard on her knees on the mat.
Kevin: That’ll wreck the cartilage and a few other things for Kristina, but good timing from Missy.
DOC: Missy has some of the best instincts, and she got the hell out of the way.
Missy started to come back up to her feet slowly, Kristina forcing herself upright too, only to stumble slightly as she did so, Michelle tagging herself into the action. Spencer though found her balance, raising her hand in the air and clenching it into a fist before she delivered a heart punch to Missy, who tried to fend it off but still took the majority of the blow. The Englishwoman staggered, clutching her chest as Storm darted across the ring, hitting the ropes and coming back to connect with a perfectly timed Storm Rising superman punch to Missy’s jaw. Kristina left the ring at the referee’s orders and turned her back on the action, celebrating the victory as Storm made the cover, hooking the leg as she did, Weatherby sliding into position to make the count.
Kevin: STORM RISING!! The titles are coming back to the Storm!
One…
Two…
...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DOC: Not if Kelly has anything to say about it! Great save!
At the very last second, Kelly made it across the ring and used a baseball slide to Storm’s head to break up the cover. The New Yorker immediately kipped up to her feet, landing on one leg before she hobbled as quickly as she could towards the ropes, hopping onto the middle rope next to Kristina as she flipped over the top, grabbing the Wicked’s head as she did and pulled her off the apron and down to the floor with a blockbuster. Kristina bounced off to the side, holding her jaw as Kelly gripped her knee, her face showing agony as she sat on the floor where she landed. In the ring, Michelle pulled Missy up to her feet and into position for the Storm Fall bull hammer but as she yanked her around and threw the shot, Missy ducked underneath and countered before Storm could get her balance with a snap dragon suplex.
DOC: She’s setting up for the STORM FALL, AND--
Kevin: And she got nothing but air! Missy avoided the contact and planted her.
Michelle rolled to the side and started to come back to her feet once more as Missy used the ropes to pull herself upright. As the pair got to a vertical base, Missy caught her opponent with a stiff kick into her midsection, doubling her over before the British wrestler jerked the challenger away from the ropes and spiked her face first into the mat with a sit out facebuster. Again Missy rolled away and used the ropes to force herself back to a vertical base. As she got upright, she spotted that Storm was starting to pull herself upwards, the Leeds born wrestler circling around her and as soon as Michelle was upright, caught her with another kick to the midriff before she hooked her head, lifted her up and slammed her down face first with a falcon arrow; Missy keeping her feet beneath her as she did so.
Kevin: Beautifully executed falcon’s arrow from Missy!
DOC: I think I’d have gone for the cover, but I defer to Missy’s greater wisdom.
Michelle began to push herself up to her feet as Kelly used the ring skirt to pull herself upwards and grabbed hold of the ring rope, pulling herself onto the apron in the Wicked Storm corner. As the former Acrobat watched the action in the ring, she pulled herself to her feet and climbed to the top rope just as Missy dropped back to the ring ropes nearest Storm, leaving her feet and driving her face first into the canvas with a perfect Mischief Maker curb stomp. Michelle’s body bounced and rolled to the side as her face was driven into the mat and as she landed on her back, Kelly came off the top rope with the Flight Path shooting star press, rolling away and holding her knee as Missy was already in the corner, squatting down with her hands together, elbows between her legs before she sprung up to her feet, climbing the turnbuckles quickly and jumping off with the Li’l Miss Mischief frog splash. Missy made the cover, hooking the leg as Weatherby sliding into position to make the count.
Kevin: LI’L MISS MISCHIEF!!! I think that’s game!
One…
Two…
Kelly launched herself across the ring and cut off Kristina as she tried to slide into the ring.
...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DOC: Kelly stopped Spencer, and the champs are still the champs!
Weatherby called for the bell as Missy rolled away, holding her stomach and chest for a moment as it sounded before she came back to her feet. Kristina pulled away from Kelly with a look of anger on her face as the blonde fell backwards, glaring at her as she did. Michelle rolled to the side and was helped out of the ring by Kristina.
John: Here are your winners, by way of pinfall… AND STTTIIIILLLLLL SVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! The team of KELLY KINCAID and MISSY!!!!!
Kevin: Kelly and Missy are getting better and better and gelling just like they’d been together for years, and that’s bad news for the tag division.
DOC: DOC agrees, but the Wicked Storm did everything they could. If Vivacious Vee wants to hear an idea for the girls, let ol’ DOC know. But congratulations to the retaining champions!
Kelly used the ring ropes to pull herself to her feet and hobbled towards the official; Roger Weatherby raising both their hands. Missy checked on Kelly, getting a curt nod of the head from the blonde who told her partner she’d be fine, making a title belt motion around her waist as she did so - even though a second later she was reaching down to hold her knee. The referee retrieved the title belts and returned them to the Champions; Kelly and Missy holding them aloft to the cheers of the crowd. The two members of the Wicked Storm looked to be about to slide into the ring only to be confronted by a couple of members of the referee crew who ordered them to the back. They stared daggers at Kelly and Missy in the ring before they finally heeded the officials instructions and the pair of them began to head for the entrance ramp. The crowd cheered loudly again for Kelly and Missy as they raised their titles in celebration once more before the show cut elsewhere.

The history between Scarlett and Jo is highlighted science their first interactions during the Midas Touch Battle Royal, and the war of words that followed. Then we head back to the ring with John ready to make the introductions.
John: The following contest is scheduled for one fall to a finish.
Kevin: This very well may be the match with more bad blood than anything else on the card. I know for a fact Scarlett is looking to make an example here, and I’m sure Jo is doing the same.
Vee: Jo has been undefeated in SVW since coming back in the Midas Touch, and that proves she’s always been on top of her game. Now she gets to shut Scarlett up once and for all.
A dark, orchestral vocal fills the arena as pink and black lights fill the arena. Smoke fills the stage, rising high as it is pumped out with speed. As the vocals give way to an equally dark electronic beat, two forms appear in the smoke.
I've done the race, I've got this far
Look to the North, 'cause I'm the star
Gonna make your body move just like Ibiza
Might be nice but I'm a diva
See me on stage and I'll make you go loony
Keep you on your toes, I'm en pointe, OK, sue me
Daenerys ain't got nothin' on me
Bow down, bitch, and give a curtsey
I'll bring you down like Miss Cersei
If looks could kill, bitch that's me!
The verse kicks in and one form comes bounding through the dry ice, the sight of Jo McFarlane giving way to the huge chorus of boos, Singapore Cane in hand, pink and black ring gear on full display and a black bandana on her head. Not that she seems to care about the reaction. Kyle Kilmeade comes out beehind her. The verse is fast-paced, and Jo goes down the ramp to the beat of the song, tossing the cane between her hands as she goes. Turning to the camera following her on the last line, she shouts it herself into the camera, pointing to herself with a grin.
All hail the queen (karakakarakakaka)
All hail the queen (boom, ka, boom, ka)
All hail the queen (karakakarakakaka)
All hail the queen
Jo waits for Kyle once she had slid into the ring, rolling from her front to one knee. Kyle joins her in the ring and she heads for her corner, where she takes the top rope and uses it to bounce to the second, where she looks out around her, raising the cane in her hand to further jeers. As she music fades, she jumps back down and discusses something with Kyle
John: In the ring this time, from Derry, Northern Ireland, please welcome “THE LIVING FIREWORK” JOOOOO MCFAAAAAAAAARLANE!
Kevin: Now with her new manager, you’re absolutely right about Jo’s SVW record since returning. She’s been run close more than once, don’t get me wrong. But she’s always managed to find a way to win.
Vee: That’s all that matters, Kevin. People remember winners. No one remembers who won the silver medal in the Olympics, after all.
The lights go out, leaving the crowd in silence for a moment before “Into The Sun” by The Parlor Mob kicks in, all the lights in the arena stuttering on and off. As the guitar opening slows down the lights die and are replaced only by a bright white spotlight shining down onto the middle of the entrance ramp like a golden sunbeam slicing down from the heavens and illuminating where Scarlett Kincaid, head bowed. As the first verse is sung, She stands there, breathing deeply and composing herself for a long couple of seconds before she starts to head toward the ring. On her way down the entrance ramp she high fives as many of the fans on both sides of the entrance ramp as she possibly can on her way to the ring.
As she gets to the ring she climbs onto the apron and stands in the middle of the ropes, leaning backwards over the top rope as she pumps her fist. The red haired wrestler pauses for a couple of seconds to take a deep breath before she turns to face the ring, grabbing hold of the top rope and then catapults herself into the ring. Landing on her feet she charges to the opposite corner she leaps to the top, holding her arm aloft to a loud ovation from the crowd. Finally she turns and drops to sit on the top turnbuckle, looking into the ring, nodding her head along to the song as it draws to a close and the lights return to normal she drops down onto her feet in the corner, kissing two of her fingertips she presses the kiss against two small sets of initials - EK & EGD - embroidered on her ring gear at her hip.
John: Standing 5’6” tall, weighing in at 128lbs and hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Please welcome, accompanied to the ring…. SCARLETT KINCAID!!!
Kevin: Scarlett’s got her game face on! She’s usually all smiles and shaking hands, but this mess with the Gold Standard has made her more focused than ever before.
Vee: You’d think she would be grateful for that too. I mean if what you are saying is true. I think she’s been awful all along, but that’s just me.
Referee Rudy Palmer barely had time to call for the bell before the two women made a beeline for one another, and that’s when the fists started flying in what was essentially a slughest. The fans responded practically to every punch, and it was Scarlett who was starting to get the better of the exchanges. She shoved JO backwards, and fired off a knife edge chop to her chest. Jo returned fire with one of her own, and got one back almost as quickly before the Cajun fired her across to the far side. As soon as Jo rebounded, Scarlett followed her in with a running clothesline that toppled the pale redhead over the top rope to the apron. But Kincaid barely gave her any time to recover, as she hit the far side while Jo was getting back to her feet. She blasted her with a dropkick to the chest that McFarlane down to the floor...and Scarlett followed her out.
Kevin: They’re going full tilt on each other right from the get go, and it’s already spilling out to ringside.
Vee: Well that’ll be Scarlett’s first mistake right there. Jo loves to get her hands on whatever she can, and there’s plenty out here for her.
Jo was pulled back to her feet before Scarlett bounced her head off the apron. It sent her backwards a step before she went to fire Jo into the barricade. But the Irish lass reversed it and sent Scarlett back first instead. A short running boot to the chest toppled Scarlett over into the front row, and Jo hopped the barrier after her. Many of the fans were cheering on Scarlett as Jo told them to move. And when Kincaid got to her feet, Jo slammed her across a row of chairs.
Vee: What did I tell you, Kevin? Scarlett should have kept this match in the ring, but no, she wants to be a hero. This is what happens to heroes.
Kevin: Referee Rudy Palmer is giving a lot of latitude to these two, because I think he’d have called for the bell right there! But they need to settle this!
Jo grabbed Scarlett’s head, and started spiking the back of it into one of the chairs before she finally rolled to the floor. The referee came to the floor next, yelling for them both to get back into the ring. But he was mostly ignored at this point. Jo lifted the Cajun up, dropping her chest first across the top of the barricade and then tipping her over to land ringside. McFarlane followed after her, pulling Scarlett up and driving her back first into the apron before shoving her back into the ring. The referee followed her with Jo right behind him.
Kevin: Well we’re back in the ring now, and Jo has the advantage. I think that slam onto the chairs had to have done a number on Scarlett.
Vee: We can only hope, Kevin. I love watching Scarlett get her clock cleaned. If they come by here, maybe I’ll help.
Scarlett rolled away from Jo as she was pursuing her. And when McFarlane reached down to pick her up again, Scarlett surprised her with a shot to the stomach. Two more landed, sending the Irish lass backwards a step. Scarlett rose to her feet with a pained expression before connecting with a discus punch that wobbled Jo backwards. She followed it up with a ripcord knee strike that dropped Jo to her knees, giving Scarlett time to hit the ropes behind her to rebound with a running bulldog to spike her face into the mat. But it was clear that the landing didn’t help her back after what Jo had done earlier.
Kevin: Scarlett’s back in control again, and this match has resembled a pendulum since the bell rang. This is the first time these two have ever met one on one, fans.
Vee: Clearly it’s long overdue. They don’t like each other, and all they want to do is wreck the other person. That’s my favorite kind of match to watch.
Scarlett held her lower back for a second, and then made it back to her feet. She dragged Jo up with her, pelting her with forearms to the side of her head before whipping her into the turnbuckle. A handspring back elbow landed flush on McFarlane’s jaw, and Scarlett scooped her to sit on the top turnbuckle. After climbing up with her, she landed a few more shots before hooking her head for a superplex that bounced them both off the mat. Scarlett made the cover with the outside leg hooked as Palmer dropped to count.
Vee: She’s just hurting her own back more with that move, because superplexes take it out of both of the people involved.
ONE!!!
TWOO!!
Jo got her shoulder up just after the two count. Scarlett hammered a few more right hands into her head before pulling her back to her feet. She spun Jo around and shoved her into the ropes, only to fire a kidney punch into her back before dropping her with a belly to back suplex.
Kevin: Looks like Scarlett is trying to inflict the same damage to Jo’s back that she was enduring earlier in this match.
Kincaid grinded her elbow into Jo’s lower back before quickly getting back to her feet. She scooped Jo up over her shoulder, and drove her back first into the corner. Kincaid spun around with every intention of doing it again. But as they approached, Jo managed to break her grip and land on her feet behind her. When the Cajun tried to turn around, Jo ducked underneath her and fell straight backwards with an electric chair. The impact made Scarlett’s back bow upwards until Jo made the cover with the leg hook.
Kevin: Devastating impact from Jo when the bottom dropped out for Scarlett! Is that all?
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TH-NO.
Scarlett rolled her shoulder off the mat before the three came down. Jo rose to her feet, pulling Scarlett’s arms behind her as she applied a standing surfboard submission.
Vee: Stay on top of that back, Jo! That’s what I like to see. Pull her arms off, if that’s what it will take to finally be done with her.
Palmer dropped down in front of Scarlett to check for a submission. But she shook her head when he asked. Jo punished her for it by stomping her back a few times before planting her foot again to keep the hold tightly applied. Scarlett still refused to quit though. Jo started talking trash to her as she kept the hold applied. The referee was obliged to check once more, but still got the same answer. Though Jo’s trash talking seemed to be firing Scarlett up, making her more defiant about not quitting.
Kevin: The more Jo runs her mouth, the more Scarlett looks like she’s getting worked up again.
Vee: Let her. What’s she gonna do about it? There’s no escape for this hold, at least not one I’ve ever seen. She’s stuck.
A few more stomps landed against Scarlett’s back, but she still wouldn’t quit. That was when Jo started to stomp the back of her head. An elbow drop landed after that before she got back to her feet, leaning against the ropes now as it seemed she was measuring the Cajun. And that was exactly what she did right before connecting with a curb stomp to the back of her head followed by a cover.
Vee: Thanks for coming, Scarlett!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOO!!
TH-NOO.
Kincaid kicked out before the two, and Jo took a deep breath. It was starting to get under her skin as she pulled Scarlett to her feet. She hooked her head for what looked to be a suplex, but Scarlett shoved her backwards. The off balance Irish lass tried to get her feet under her when Kincaid yanked her forward into her leg hook Saito suplex that put them both down.
Kevin: There’s the SCAR-PLEX, and possibly not a moment too soon for Scarlett! That pendulum has just swung back in the other direction. These two are so evenly matched!
Scarlett got back to her feet a couple seconds before her opponent, but Jo was facing the opposite direction. That’s when the Cajun charged towards her, leaving her feet for her reverse rana that stood Jo on her head for a half second before her body collapsed to the mat. Scarlett dashed across her for the cover with the outside leg hooked!
Kevin: Kincaid’s playing all her greatest hits tonight in the Garden! There went the RAGIN’ CAJUN!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEE-NOO!!
Jo kicked out in time, and Scarlett rolled off the cover. She held her hand to her back for a moment as she watched Jo starting to stir on the canvas. She pushed forward, planting her head between her legs for her finisher.
Vee: No no no!! Look out, Jo! I’ve seen this movie before, and it doesn’t end well at all!
Scarlett hooked Jo’s arms into position, but McFarlane drove her backwards into the corner. It knocked the wind out of Scarlett, and caused more back pain. Jo stayed on one knee as she tried to get her bearings, and caught Kincaid with a jawbreaker that rocked her backwards to hang in the corner. The Garden crowd booed as Jo climbed the corner, and started to rain ten punches on her head…..at least until Scarlett grabbed her legs and darted out of the corner with a running powerbomb!
Vee: Damn it, someone get Jo a kendo stick! Looks like she’s just going to have to pound Scarlett into ground beef tonight.
Kevin: Scarlett dug down deep for that, and pulled it off in the clutch! That’s not something we see a lot out of the Cajun.
Kincaid sat up slowly, and the fans in the Garden were solidly behind her. Jo was next to move, and made it to her feet, albeit fairly wobbly. Scarlett spun her around into an European uppercut before planting her head, and delivering her pedigree finisher! The NYC crowd came to their feet as Scarlett went for the cover with the leg hooked..
Kevin: BAYOU BUSTER!!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Palmer called for the bell to a pop from the crowd, and Scarlett slowly made it back to her feet. She was certainly feeling the worse for wear, but started to smile a little as she got her hand raised.
Vee: Crap! Are we sure she didn’t have loaded elbow pads or something? Some dimwit blonde in FFW has been doing recently, maybe Scarlett decided to do it too.
John: Your winner by pinfall……………..SCARLETT KINCAID!!
Kevin: Cross another name off Scarlett’s hit list that makes up the Gold Standard, and you gotta believe it feels damn good deep down for her too.
Vee: I’m telling you we need to run a metal detector over her pads, I’m positive there’s something under them!
Kincaid rolled out to the floor, greeting a handful of fans along the barricade as she headed towards the back. As Kyle checked on his newest client, the show cut to a commercial for Climax.
Colby’s Big Date
The next shot takes us into someone’s locker room. All we see at first is the form of Benjamin Brown as he begins to speak.
Ben: Rampage continues to roll on here in the Garden, and I’ve been tasked with sharing some big news for my guest at this time. A man who needs no introduction really, and casts a long shadow everywhere he goes. C’mon over here, Colby Morrison!
Colby stepped over to join the interviewer, the tall Canadian wearing a red and white check button up shirt with the top button undone and a pair of jeans.
Colby: Hey Ben. Good to see you, how you doing? How you enjoying Rampage so far? It’s been huge so far hasn’t it? And what a show it’s been. It’s a steal at the price being charged for the online subscription isn’t it? So...what’s the big news you’ve got? And how big is it? Are we talking big, big-big, super big or potentially life changing big?
Ben: Well I’d call a match where you get to share the ring with a woman who may be SVW Champion come Aggression big. Or a match where you share the ring with someone who just might become SVW Champion big. Don’t you think?
Colby: Pretty big. Especially if the title is on the line...but I don’t suppose I’m going to be that lucky am I? Besides...there’s always a chance Paul James could be the SVW Champion come the end of Rampage. And good luck to him if he cashes that briefcase in. If it couldn’t be me, well...there aren’t many people who deserve it more that’s for sure. Maybe if is Champion at the end of tonight then this match at Aggression might see us face off again after that best of five series in which we kept destroying rings and didn’t ever get a clear, decisive winner as such.
Ben: Well you have 66% chance of sharing the ring with a SVW Champion come Aggression. Because you are in the main event in a tag match against “Sensational” Stacey Sky and Lacey, who may still be SVW Champion after tonight. And your partner will be a man who has been a friendly rival to you for some time...and might be SVW Champion by then, the “Fat Cheetah” Paul James. That tag team alone is pretty big in it’s own right without all the other possibilities.
Colby: I certainly like those odds. Any time you can step into the ring either against or alongside an SVW Champion...or alongside a man who is a future SVW Champion is a good night. A chance to prove that you’re right up there as their equal that you should be in the conversation and in the hunt for the title. Also spot on about us and Paul being a pretty big team in our own right. That’s an awful lot of pure muscle and like two walking eclipses stepping into the ring right there. I think it’s fair to say Lacey and Stacey will have their work cut out for them - even if they are both holding gold come Aggression.
Ben: No question about it, Colby. It’s already a star-studded match, but has the potential be a very gold-heavy match with multiple champions all together like that. Good luck that night, and thanks for talking with me.
Ben shakes the big man’s hand as the show returns to the arena.

The show returns to the ring, and John’s ready and waiting once again to handle the introductions.
John: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SVW Adrenaline Championship!
Kevin: Two of the most talented high flyers in the world today are about to collide, and in Anna’s case, you gotta believe she’s extra motivated because she’s facing the woman who put her trainer and manager into retirement against his will. The same woman who called that match at Climax with me is here for this one, that being Emma Mackenzie. Welcome back to the booth.
Emma: Hi, Kevin! Thanks for having me! Nothing like a bit of second-hand vengeance for Anna here, at least with any luck.
The dirty technologic sounds of “Don’t Stop” echo through the sound system, and as the beat drops, the massive “AC” logo flashes in bright neon blue in the main screen. The crowd is already reacting to it with mixed reactions, mostly boos, as Anna Cortez steps through the entrance gate and stops atop the ramp, being closely followed by Christian Kincaid. She stands there for a second, surveying the environment, before walking down the ramp, her focus zeroed in on the ring.
John: Introducing first, from Fort Worth, Texas… ANNA CORTEZ!
Anna takes the steel steps into the ring and jumps in, moving to the turnbuckle opposite from where she entered, hopping on the second rope and just allowing herself and the crowd to look at one another, almost as if it was the protocol… Before jumping back down to the ring and removing her coat and glasses, putting it all aside as she takes shelter on her corner.
Kevin: Anna’s been knocking off some top talent before her manager, the network troubleshooter complete with plastic badge and pop gun, put this match together. She scored wins over half of the Wicked Storm and even knocked off Ashley Marie Chase. And I’m positive CK has her laser focused on her opponent.
Emma: I don’t doubt that in the slightest! Christian’s always been a hell of a trainer and manager, his results speak for themselves. Anna’s on one hell of a roll, and I hope it continues for her.
As the opening of ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ by Def Leppard starts to play, Kyle Kilmeade steps through the curtain and holds it open. Stacey Sky steps out onto the stage wearing her ring gear which consists of a black bra-style top, with gold trim. A black and gold cheerleader style skirt, and black boots with a gold trim. Her Championship secured around her waist which she runs her fingers over with a smirk.
Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love
Pour some sugar on me
C'mon, fire me up
Pour your sugar on me
I can't get enough
She stops at the start of the ramp and runs her hands down her sides until she reaches her hips and then stands with her hands on hips for a moment, before she starts moving towards the ring with Kyle walking slightly behind her.
I'm hot, sticky sweet
From my head to my feet, yeah
As the line hot, sticky sweet plays, she raises her finger to her mouth and tilts her head to one side. Then she sways her hips, lowering herself down at the same time, before popping back up and blowing a kiss from one side to the other.
John: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Anaheim, California and accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade……Your reigning and defending SVW ADRENALINE CHAMPION……….“Sensational” Stacey Sky
Listen! red light, yellow light, green-a-light go!
Crazy little woman in a one man show
Mirror queen, mannequine, rhythm of love
Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up
Loosen up
She removes her Championship and passes it to Kyle before she takes off at a run towards the ring and then jumps up onto the apron, where she immediately drops down into the splits. She leans forwards and grabs hold of her foot, lowering her head so she can roll under the bottom rope, still in the splits. Once in the ring, she moves up to her knees, throwing her head back as she does. She licks her lips and gives a devilish smile out to the crowd.
You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little
Tease a little more
Easy operator come a knockin' on my door
Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet
Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah, yeah
Give a little more.
As her music starts to fade she gets to her feet and goes to her corner, where Kyle hands her back her Championship. She climbs up and sits on the top turnbuckle with her legs crossed and the Championship raised high above her head to a boo from the crowd. She shares a few last minute words with her manager on the apron as she awaits the start of the match.
Kevin: Stacey Sky is the longest reigning current champion in SVW. And it’s not even close! For 323 days and counting, she’s been on top of this division and ruling it with an iron fist. And as much as I like Anna, it’s hard to bet against Stacey in big matches in SVW.
Emma: True as all that is, it’s also fair to point out that people have ended better reigns on better people. I won’t argue with Stacey’s talent, but title reigns will always end eventually.
Referee Mickey McGuire took the title from Stacey, and showed it to Anna. He held it up for the crowd, and called for the bell to start the match. Kyle was still sharing some advice with his client as he stood in her corner before the blonde headed out to the center of the ring. Meanwhile, Anna was crouched in her corner and never took her eyes off the champion. Stacey tried to jumpstart it by charging the corner to attack her before she got up to her feet, but Anna popped up to greet her with a flurry of rights.
Kevin: Stacey was gonna try to catch Anna before she got out of the corner, but all she’s catching now are some fast and furious right hands upside her head. If this turns into a brawl, I think Stacey will have the edge.
Emma: Not a single lie detected there. Which means Stacey really needs to keep up the pressure on Anna. You don’t want to get Anna going.
Stacey returned fire with rights of her own before she stopped her with an European uppercut. It stalled Anna for a half second before the triplet shoved her backwards,, and vaulted forward with a scorpion kick to the top of her head. That wobbled Stacey a little more before Anna swept her feet out from under her. She scooped up those legs, and catapulted Sky into her corner. The blonde struck head first against the top turnbuckle, and staggered backwards until Anna hit the near side ropes for a springboard into a dropkick to her chest to put her on the mat.
Kevin: Anna’s doing a great job of keeping Stacey off balance here in the early moments, and that’s key to slowing down anyone with Stacey’s speed. If she can’t plant her feet, it’s awfully hard to do much else.
Emma: I would be interested to see a wrestling match where the feet don't touch the ground once. Be bored as hell after ten minutes, but it sounds like fun on paper.
Sky was quick to get back to her feet, and caught a punt to the ribs from Anna when she tried to get up. Cortez grabbed her head, and started slamming it into the top turnbuckle. The fans counted off ten times it landed before she shoved Stacey away again. The brunette scaled the corner as Stacey remained off balance, and came off with a blockbuster from the top rope into a cover.
Kevin: Big time impact, and Anna’s already flying in this one! Not where Stacey wants her to be!
ONE!!
T-NO.
The champion shoved her away as the two was coming down. Anna popped back to her feet, and started running again. She took off for the far side as Stacey got up, and caught her with a springboard into a flying forearm to deck her to the mat again.
Emma: It was way too early for that and I think Anna may have known that, not that it’s stopping her right now either!
The fans in the Garden were loudly behind the challenger as she pulled Stacey to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. Anna followed her in with a corner clothesline before grabbing the rope and laying in fast kicks to her body in a blur. Anna planted her feet, and went for another corner clothesline. But Sky ducked, only for Cortez to end up in a headstand on the top turnbuckle...at least until Stacey rose up to her feet...and then Anna dropped her with a DDT as she came back down.
Kevin: A headstand on the corner into a DDT, that’s a new one! Stacey might have come into this match taking Anna too lightly.
Emma: I’d be surprised if that wasn’t the case, to be honest. Stacey’s at the point where she would almost feel untouchable, and with good reason.
The fans were getting louder in their support as Anna scooped the champion up into a falcon’s arrow. She shot across her for the cover as McGuire slid into position to make the count.
Kevin: This has been all Anna, and she’s closing on her first title!
ONE!!!
TW-NO.
Stacey still kicked out, only a half second slower than the last time. Anna popped back to her feet, doubling back to the corner she just left and making her way up top again. She came off with a leg drop, but Sky rolled out of the way and let Anna crash onto the canvas, jarring her entire body as she did.
Emma: Not quite! That was definitely closer though, and you can’t argue that Stacey is getting it handed to her.
The blonde slowly got to her feet, clearly hurting from the offense before she began kicking Anna in the chest as hard as she could. Multiple shots landed before the brunette toppled over onto her side. Stacey took a second to gather herself before she lifted Anna up for a gutbuster across her knee. The triplet was sat up again, only for Stacey to apply a bow and arrow submission by pulling her arms behind her with her knee planted in her back.
Kevin: Stacey’s keeping the pace slow right now, because I’m guessing she’s still recovering from what she absorbed. She may just keep this match ground based all night.
Emma: Stacey definitely could do with a breather after all that she took from Anna. Realistically, this is probably the closest she’ll get without getting out of the ring.
McGuire asked Anna about stopping the match, but the challenger shook her head. The champion tried to create more pressure as she leaned back while pulling Anna’s arms behind her. Another check from the official got another shake of Anna’s head. Sky let go of one arm to drive an elbow into the top of the brunette’s head, and then transitioned the hold into a straightjacket submission with Anna’s arms wrapped around her neck.
Kevin: I guess the logic is if you can’t make her quit, choke her out. And that’s precisely what this hold will do if it’s applied long enough.
Emma: Hey, it’s smart. Not only does it put Anna in a ridiculously compromising position, but it gives Stacey extra time to get herself back together. And the longer she does that, the better it is for her.
Anna started trying to get up in the hold, which worked but Stacey kept her arms around her neck. It looked like the challenger was trying to get to the ropes for a break until Stacey turned it into a straightjacket lungblower that dropped Anna to the mat before she made the cover.
Kevin: Excellent way to stop Anna right there, and Stacey’s looking to put this thing away.
ONE!!!
TWOO!!
Anna got her shoulder up, but was still coughing and trying to refill her lungs after the submission. She rolled away from Stacey to the ropes, which the champion allowed to happen as she got to her feet. A running boot to the jaw sent Anna over the top rope to the floor.
Emma: That wasn’t as close as I expected it to be, really. I’d have thought that would have taken more out of Anna than it actually did.
Christian moved towards Anna to talk with her and help her to her feet. Stacey put an end to that when she hit the far side ropes, and vaulted over the top rope into a suicide dive that took them both down to the floor. As she pulled Anna to her feet, she kicked proverbial dust onto Christian before tossing the challenger back inside. It all amused Kyle, who was chuckling as he watched around the corner.
Emma: That suicide dive was impressive, then she wrecked it by doing whatever that was to someone who has done nothing except stand in a corner. What was the point of that?
Kevin: I think it’s just a show of disrespect. She ended his SVW career at Extreme Prejudice, and tonight she plans to finish off his pupil.
Stacey slid in after her opponent, pushing her head away with her foot a few times to toy with her. She finally dragged her to her feet, and started hammering forearms into the side of her head. It rocked the brunette backwards before Stacey whipped her across for the ride, and blasted her with a spinning roundhouse kick on the rebound that dropped Anna to the mat. Stacey made the cover with a leg hooked this time.
Kevin: Anna caught every bit of that roundhouse at a high rate of speed, and Stacey’s reign may be continuing still!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOO!!!
TH-NO.
Anna got her shoulder up again, and Stacey punished her for it with elbows to the side of her head. She scooped Cortez over her shoulder, and hung her upside down in a tree of woe in the corner.
Emma: Anna says no! But Stacey isn’t done with her yet! Tree of woe is not a fun thing to be on the receiving end of.
A few stomps landed against Anna’s body before Stacey headed to the far side of the ring. The fans in the Garden were chanting Anna’s name, trying to rally her as Stacey measured and took off. She was aiming for a baseball slide into Anna’s head, but the challenger sat up and Stacey slid into the corner instead with both legs wrapping around the post. Her jaw fell open as she was frozen in pain, while Anna was sitting on the top turnbuckle trying to get herself together.
Emma: And then it’s a bad place to be when things like that happen! For those of us who were not born with lady bits, that hurts a hell of a lot for us too! I might have squirmed a little.
The brunette finally got back to the mat, still reeling as Stacey crawled out of the corner very delicately for a moment. Anna put her down with a guillotine leg drop across the back of her head before she made it back to her feet. Christian was also on his feet now, shouting some advice to Anna that caused her to head up to the top rope. Anna perched herself, waiting for Stacey to get up. When the champion did and went to get her, Anna hopped onto her shoulders and delivered a dragonrana that popped the fans in the Garden!
Kevin: I think that’ll do it!! Anna with some massive impact, and a new champion in three!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
McGuire stopped the count as Stacey got her foot across the bottom rope. He pointed it out to Anna, who sat up on her knees with a pained expression still on her face.
Emma: Some great ring awareness by Stacey definitely saved her there!
Anna dragged Stacey by the arms out of the corner, and took off towards the ropes. She scaled them like a cat before using the top rope for a springboard into a corkscrew moonsault that landed flawlessly on target. She hooked both legs this time for the cover as McGuire dropped to count.
Kevin: The ropes won’t save Stacey this time! Anna’s so close she can taste it!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO.
Stacey’s shoulder popped up off the mat, and Anna sat up with a shake of her head. She looked towards Christian, who started giving her advice as she got to her feet.
Emma: Damnit! So close, she got that sweet taste ripped right out of her mouth!
She pulled the champion up with her, but Stacey surprised her with a jawbreaker followed by a facebuster to put them both on the mat. The blonde was taking in deep breaths before she headed towards the corner herself this time. It was a slow climb to the top rope before she made it...only to be joined by Anna who climbed up with her. The two started trading right hands until Anna surprised her with a headbutt to the face. She snatched Stacey around the waist, and came off with her cyclorama into a cover.
Kevin: That’s her move...the ANNA GO ROUND!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
The referee called for the bell to a pop from the fans before Christian rushed the ring. He helped Anna to her feet, congratulating her as the referee raised her hand.
John: Your winner….AND NEEEEEEEEEEWWW SVW Adrenaline Champion…..ANNA CORTEZ!!!
Emma: She did it! Stacey’s near-year long reign is over on the count of three! Anna is the Adrenaline Champion!
McGuire handed Anna the Adrenaline Championship, and she clutched it against her chest as she looked at her reflection. The New York City crowd roared their approval before she hugged her manager, and raised it over her head.
Kevin: Congratulations to Anna Cortez! Whether it be her or her sisters, the Cortez girls have never lost a match where they were challenging for a title, Emma. Anna’s got her first title, and just kept that tradition going!
Emma: It’s a damn good tradition to have going, that can’t be argued! Congrats to Anna, that was very well deserved.
She hugged her new title to her chest, still looking at it with disbelief as the show headed elsewhere in the Garden.
Let’s Be Honest
The shot changes to see the form of Victor Frost putting on some red sunglasses to match his outfit as he heads towards the ring. A production assistant stops him like last time, but he pushes him away and snatches a microphone off a table. As he turns it on, the shot changes to inside the arena as Victor heads out onto the stage.
Victor: Ladies and gentlemen of New York City, my name is Victor Frost and the show that they took off Aggression has come here tonight to Rampage! The show is called “Let’s Be Honest” because that’s the only language I speak.
Victor doesn’t get much of a reaction since they aren’t too familiar with him yet, but it doesn’t stop him from continuing.
Victor: Now I know you don’t know me. Yet. But that’s about to change. Two weeks ago on Aggression, I was supposed to debut my new show, “Let’s Be Honest”, and that got pre-empted because of one man. His name is Cody Kincaid. And you know what? I didn’t mind it all that much, because when he did that, I knew who my first show was going to feature. So tonight on my debut of “Let’s Be Honest”, the CEO of this company? Cody, this one’s for you.
He continues down the ramp, and starts to stroll around the ring.
Victor: Before you get the wrong idea, I’m not here to kiss his ass. As a matter of fact for pre-empting my show on Aggression, I think he might be one of the dumbest human beings walking the face of this Earth. But you know what, New York City? How many times have you seen someone have a show and go in there to talk to someone in the back? Too damn many times. That’s not what Victor Frost is going to do, because tonight right here in the Big Apple, the guest for “Let’s Be Honest”....is ALL OF YOU!!
That starts to win them over, and he begins getting a more positive reception.
Victor: That’s right, all of you are my guests tonight. Because quite frankly, there’s no opinion that matters more in SVW than yours because you’re the ones paying to see the show. You are all the lifeblood of this company, and tonight you’re gonna get to join me in sharing what you think of Cody Kincaid. Who wants to talk to Victor?
The crowd gets a little louder, and Victor stops at the barricade in front of a man with two kids at his side.
Victor: Are these two boys yours?
The man nods his head, and Victor gives each of the kids a high five.
Victor: What’s your name?
Man: Jack
Victor: Alright, Jack. Let’s be honest….what do you think of Cody Kincaid?
Jack: I think he’s the worst! The. Worst.
Victor starts chuckling as he listens to Jack, and nods his head.
Victor: Ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag? I got you.
He shakes Jack’s hand and moves down a bit to a blonde woman, who he gestures to come towards the barricade.
Victor: What’s your name, gorgeous?
Woman: Andrea.
Victor: Well Andrea, other than trying to stop traffic looking like that, let’s be honest. How do you feel Cody Kincaid has done in his job as the CEO of SVW?
Andrea: I can’t stand him, he’s horrible at his job. Total zero.
Victor: I feel you on that, Andrea.
Victor’s eyes dart over to the booth, and head in that direction.
Victor: Just to provide equal time, let’s give Vee here a chance.
Vee gets nothing but boos from the crowd as Kevin turns to watch her.
Victor: Now Vee Chandler, what do you think of Cody Kincaid?
Vee: ---
Victor: Sorry, Vee. Let’s be honest, no one in the Garden cares what you think.
Another pop from the crowd, leaving Vee none too happy as Victor turns back to the camera.
Victor: I don’t know if you are paying attention, Cody. But it’s obvious to ol’ Victor here that New York City thinks you ABSOLUTELY SUCK.
The fans get very loud at that, showing that they are in full agreement. Victor tips his sunglasses down when he looks into the camera.
Victor: Feel free to do with that information what you wish, jackass. And the next time you--
Victor’s microphone is suddenly cut off, causing him to tap the top of it as the fans begin booing the action. Frost starts chuckling again, shrugging his shoulders as he tells the camera “Sometimes the truth hurts.” Victor hops the barricade, and heads towards the exit through the crowd before the show cuts to a package for the SVW Championship.

The spotlight hangs over John briefly before he raises the microphone to speak, while there is a buzz going through the crowd for the main event.
John: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is your Rampage main event for the SVW Championship!
Kevin: The more things change, the more they stay the same. What I mean by that is the fact that the last time Rebecka Hate was SVW Champion was September of 2014. And now 7 years later, she could be about to capture it again for the third time. I invited Emma to stay with me for this one after we just saw the Adrenaline title change. We might see another.
Emma: The Adrenaline match was one hell of a match, and congratulations again to Anna on that win. This match...eh, I can’t say I’m a huge fan of either of these wrestlers, but that doesn’t change that it’ll be a great match.
The lights fades the drums start in. As the first verse starts, a hooded figure walks out from behind the curtain with a long cloak wrapped around them.
Night is falling, the sun goes down
Fireflies awake
In the darkness of the forest
We are together again
Night is falling, the sun goes down
Fireflies awake
In the darkness of the forest
We are together again
Far away in a secret place
For the chosen ones…..
As the spotlights start to strobe around the arena, the song suddenly stops. As the silence started to get unbearable, a haunting voice starts to be piped through the speakers.
Despite the lies that you're making
Your love is mine for the taking
My love is
Just waiting
To turn your tears to roses
As the music joins the voice, the figure removes their hood and the face of Becky Hate is seen as white flames explode in front of her.
Despite the lies that you're making
Your love is mine for the taking
My love is
Just waiting
To turn your tears to roses
I will be the one that's gonna hold you
I will be the one that you run to
My love is
A burning, consuming fire
When the chorus starts, the flames dies down some and she steps over the flames. Becka makes her way down the ramp. She ignore the fans as she walk, swatting away hands of unworthy fans that try to touch her As they arrive around ringside, Becky takes off her cloak revealing a form fitting dress similar to the one worn by May on Coyote Ragtime Show with leggings under the dress.
No
You'll never be alone
When darkness comes, I'll light the night with stars
Hear the whispers in the dark
No
You'll never be alone
When darkness comes, you know I'm never far
Hear the whispers in the dark
John: “Introducing from Tampa Bay, Florida, she is the carver of souls and self-proclaimed of SVW. Weighing in at…..*receives a glare from Becka* never mind. She is The last of a dying breed….Rebecka Hate.”
You feel so lonely and ragged
You lay here broken and naked
My love is
Just waiting
To clothe you in crimson roses
Becky climbs into the ring and glares at the crowd as she waits for the bell to ring.
Kevin: Rebecka earned this chance by pinning Lacey recently in a tag team match. There’s no better way to earn a shot usually than by defeating a champion. Could Fate be riding on that woman’s shoulders just over 7 years later as she looks to three-peat?
Emma: It could well be! It’s not for me or any of us to say. I do believe that if I’m Lacey, I’d be worried about this match. She’s gone down to Becka before, as you said.
The lights dim as the opening bars of Turn You On by Stitched Up Heart hit the speakers around the arena.
Are you awake, You're gonna have to hear the words I say
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free
A red spotlight hits the curtain and Kyle Kilmeade walks out and proceeds to hold it open for Lacey to walk through. Stepping onto the stage in front of Kyle, Lacey wears a green and black one piece, which has a deep vee cut all the way to her navel, black fishnet tights and matching green and black boots. She runs her hands down her curves, while giving a little sway of her hips and then stands with her arms folded across her chest and her head lowers.
I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on
I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on
Close your eyes, And come with me tonight
I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on
She snaps her head up and flings her arms out at the sides of her in one fluid motion, almost as if someone has just pulled the strings on a puppet. Keeping her gaze straight ahead she slowly smirks before lowering her arms to her sides and making her way down the ramp with Kyle walking beside her.
I'll make you beg, I'm gonna teach you things you won't forget
Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be
I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
Your pain will set me free
John: Making her way to the ring at this time,.....Your reigning and defending SVW Champion…..LAAAAACEEEEEY!!!
I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on
I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on
Close your eyes, And come with me tonight
I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on
Completely ignoring the crowd at either side of the ramp, Lacey speeds up as she reaches the ring and jumps up onto the apron. Taking hold of the top rope with both hands, she slowly and seductively sways her hips and wiggles her way down and back up, almost like a serpent, before springboarding over the top rope. When she lands in the ring she immediately drops down into the splits and stays there for a moment with her arms outstretched. After getting back to her feet, she climbs up onto the top turnbuckle facing the outside. Pulling something from her top she opens her palm and blows the contents into the crowd.
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed
And all the pain you feel will set you free
If you behave this night will never end
Turn off the lights and start again
The lights shut off completely for a second at the end of the theme, when they come back on, Lacey is standing in her corner sharing some last minute words with Kyle.
Kevin: It was on the 10th anniversary show this past February that Lacey used her Midas Touch contract to become the reigning SVW Champion. Tonight, unlike her manager’s theme music would indicate, she does have 99 problems and Becka is certainly one! Not to mention the Cheetah is here tonight, and he didn’t have a match so… draw your own conclusions.
Emma: I would not be shocked if Paul James made an appearance at some point this evening, I don’t think anyone would. In any case, Lacey has had one hell of a reign as far, no one can argue with that.
Referee Angela Rocca takes the title from Lacey, and shows it to Rebecka before holding it over her head. John takes the title with him as she calls for the bell, and Hate stops John as he steps out onto the apron. She gets another look at the SVW Championship, and holds it up for the crowd, all of whom are happy for her to have it in her hands. That’s when Lacey goes after her from the blind side, racing towards her to land forearms against her back repeatedly. Six in a row land before the former SVW Champion turns around to face her with her eyes wide. She tosses the title back to John, and snatches the champion up with both hands around her neck before slinging her into the corner. And a barrage of back elbows lands against Lacey’s head, Each of them snapped her head back before a massive beal sent the redhead flying out of the corner to the canvas.
Kevin: Lacey went for a Pearl Harbor style attack, and all she did was get Hate’s attention! We’re underway, and the champion is already getting tossed around like yesterdays’ trash!
Emma: Becka might suddenly be liked by the fans again, but it hasn’t changed the way that she moves when it comes to the game. Personally, I’m here for that.
Lacey was quick to get back to her feet, and Becka was right on top of her as soon as she did. She spun the redhead around, and began landing palm thrusts into her neck one after another. The Hall of Famer sent her across for the ride before Hate scooped her up on the rebound into a military press and then walked out from under her to let her faceplant on the mat. Lacey got to all fours until Hate kicked her so hard in the ribs that it lifted her off the mat for a second, and then was pulled back to her feet and fired into another corner. The redhead stumbled out with one hand on her back before Becka barreled towards her with a lariat that flipped the champion in midair to the mat. The fans in the Garden were eating it up too.
Kevin: Kilmeade’s already seen one title slip from his grasp tonight, and Rebecka Hate is well on her way to making it a double! This has been all Becka, and New York City is here for it!
Emma: Becka reminding everyone why she was SVW Champion all that time ago. Not that anyone who’s been watching for all that time will have forgotten, she’s always been a beast.
Becka was feeding off the crowd’s energy at this point too, and slammed her fists into the canvas. Lacey was getting back to her feet again, only to get fired into the ropes once more. This time, the challenger followed her with a big boot to the jaw that toppled her over the top rope to the floor. The fans in the Garden were getting louder as Hate took off for the far side, and rebounded with a head of steam before she cleared the top rope with a flying shoulder tackle that sent the champion into the barricade. She got up quickly, once more feeling the energy of the crowd before she tossed Lacey back into the ring and stepped through the ropes after her.
Kevin: A woman that size shouldn’t be able to fly like that! She sent Lacey into the barricade, and tossed her right back into the ring. The SVW Champion is getting treated like a crash test dummy in the Garden!
Emma: Lacey needs to get herself together, or it’s going to be a very short night and she’ll leave considerably lighter than she was.
Lacey got to her knees in the ring when she realized Becka was heading towards her. The champion scooted backwards on her knees before Hate took off towards her with a running knee trembler to the head to drop her to the mat. The challenger scooped her over her shoulder in one swift movement, and took off towards the corners. A snake eyes landed the redhead against the top turnbuckle before she stumbled backwards...right into Becka’s waiting grip. Both hands were around Lacey’s neck as Hate lifted her up into a sitout powerbomb before rolling through for the cover.
Kevin: Hate with a Rydeen bomb from the heavens! I can’t believe this may already be over!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T-NO!
Lacey popped her shoulder off the mat in time, and Hate sat up on her knees with a half smile on her face. It didn’t seem the two count bothered her at all.
Emma: Most people would be quite annoyed if they’d done all that and only gotten a two, but it doesn’t seem to phase Hate in the slightest. Getting the impression she just wants to hurt Lacey.
The champion immediately rolled away from her towards the ropes. Lacey grabbed the middle rope, only for Becka to grab her feet to prevent her from doing much else. She yanked her legs to try to pull her free of the ropes. The first two tries didn’t work, but the third did and caused Lacey to land back on the mat again. But Hate didn’t let go of her feet, instead she turned and catapulted Lacey to land doubled over the top rope. The challenger got to her feet, and jerked the top rope to slingshot her back onto the mat.
Emma: Lacey took a beating but she’s starting to fight back, which Becka needs to be careful of. It’ll end badly otherwise.
Kevin: We’re gonna crown a new SVW Champion tonight, I can feel it! Rebecka is a runaway locomotive, and uh oh! She’s calling for it right now!
Hate dragged her thumb across her neck before pulling Lacey up, and planting her head between her legs into position for her pumphandle slam. The Garden crowd was very loud as they knew what was coming. And as Becka went to lift her, Kyle reached into the ring to grab Lacey’s foot under the bottom rope to hold her down. Hate tried to lift her, but was having a little trouble till she realized Kyle had Lacey’s foot. Then she let Lacey fall to the mat before stomping Kilmeade’s wrist as hard as she could.
Kevin: Hate was looking for KALFU, her pumphandle slam. But Kilmeade stopped that...and may have just gotten his wrist shattered in return.
Emma: I mean...it’s what Kyle does and he knows the risk, but I’m not entirely sure that purposely assaulting people who aren’t in the match is the way to go, if we’re being entirely honest. That said, I’d be pretty pissed off too.
The SVW Champion crawled to the other side of the ring, and started to get up with the help of the ropes. Hate turned to see her, and took off towards her with another big boot aimed at her head. But the champion dropped out of the way, and let the challenger get her foot caught up in the top rope. Then the middle rope snapped around it, hanging the challenger by her ankle between the ropes. Lacey leaned against the corner, taking in deep breaths and trying to get herself together as Becka hung by her ankle.
Kevin: That definitely wasn’t part of the challenger’s plans, and she’s in a very precarious position right now. Lacey hasn’t followed up on it yet, she’s still trying to get it together.
Emma: Can I make the suggestion that Becka get out of that move as quickly as she likes? Because that’s gonna do some damage if Lacey gets there first.
The champion finally pushed forward, and started to attack the Hall of Famer’s knee while her foot was caught between the ropes. Rocca tried to free the challenger until Lacey shoved her on her ass, and went right back to attacking Becka’s knee. Rocca got back to her feet, getting onto Lacey before the champion told her to disqualify her right before she started firing kicks into Becka’s knee. She backed up a few steps, and took a running punt into that knee, causing the challenger to shout in pain with her foot still caught between the ropes.
Kevin: The referee has tried twice now to get Becka’s foot free, but Lacey wants none of that. She dared Rocca to disqualify her, meanwhile the challenger is virtually helpless.
Emma: The only reason Lacey would be okay with a disqualification is it means she would get to keep the belt. Not because of anything else. But that just looks nasty, being honest.
Rocca finally got Rebecka’s foot free of the ropes, and Lacey snatched it from there to drape across the bottom rope. She left her feet to drop her body across that same knee three times, and then yanked Rebecka by the leg towards the center of the ring. She dropped down to the mat, applying an Indian deathlock submission. The redhead arched up on her side to apply the most pressure she could as Rebecka grimaced in pain.
Kevin: Lacey is going to make sure Rebecka Hate can’t stand on her feet the rest of this match if she has her way about it. That’s very sound. The only possible issue I see is that she’s so tall that the ropes are never that far away from Hate anywhere in the ring.
Emma: If you want a strategy that is safe if you can make it work, going for the leg seems like about the best one going! I’d do it too!
Rocca checked with her about stopping the match, but the challenger was adamant that she wasn’t going to quit. Lacey tried to increase the pressure, forcing Hate’s face to show even more agony at the same time. The challenger gritted her teeth and used her hands to drag them a few inches to where she got to the ropes. Rocca called for the break, getting to a four count before Lacey finally released it. The champion got back to her feet, grabbing Hate’s foot and spiking her knee into the canvas repeatedly like a hammer. She stopped and headed for the corner, using a double stomp to her knee off the middle rope.
Kevin: Every single move and hold is aimed directly on that injured knee of the challenger. It’s no secret that when Lacey finds a weakness, she is absolutely relentless. I expect nothing less from her, given how much she covets being the SVW Champion.
Emma: I would expect no less of any wrestler who understands how pain and joints work, even in a basic sense...then again, that’s how I learned about all this, through this business.
Lacey started taunting the challenger now as she circled around her. Meanwhile, Rebecka started to get up...or at least try to get up. And as soon as she was up on one knee, Lacey hit the near side with a running boot to her face after shouting to “KNEEL BEFORE ME.” Hate collapsed back to the mat, and the champion then applied a figure four leglock. She propped up on her elbows, telling the challenger to quit. Rocca moved into position to see if that’s what Hate wanted to do.
Kevin: Not a single pinfall attempt from the champion. It’s one submission after another as she tries to force Hate to tap out. And the longer she keeps this up, that thought may sound like a better idea for Rebecka.
Emma: The unfortunate problem with that idea is that Becka is just so...determined. No matter what. I don’t disagree it would be better for her, but I think she’d be on the verge of losing her leg first.
Lacey sat up in the hold, further berating Hate and telling her to tap out. None of her talking seemed to have the desired effect though, only causing Hate to sit up herself through gritted teeth. Lacey continued talking until Rebecka slapped her across the face. The champion’s face reddened in anger before Hate lifted her arm into the air, trying to flip the hold over now. Lacey tried to stop her though, shifting her weight in the other direction to try to anchor herself.
Kevin; Sometimes running your mouth to your opponent can backfire! All that smack talk from Lacey seems to have only fired Becka up again, and she’s trying to turn this over!
Emma: It’ll be the best thing for her to do, but only if she gets out and then gets herself a break. For maybe a minute.
Hate was the stronger of the two women, and ultimately got her way when she flipped the hold over onto her stomach. Then the pressure reversed, and Lacey’s mouth fell open in pain. Kyle started waving her towards him, even pushing the bottom rope in as far as he could before the SVW Champion grabbed it. Rocca broke the hold, and Becka clutched her knee to her body. Kyle shared some advice with Lacey as she rolled towards him near the ropes.
Kevin: I’m told that the reversal of the figure four hurts even more than the hold when it’s right side up. Judging by Lacey’s face a moment ago, I believe it. Becka’s got a break, and Lacey’s getting some immoral support.
Emma: I won a match doing that once, but a long-ass time ago. I do imagine that what Lacey went through for ten seconds is more painful, but she’s still got the advantage in the form of the sheer beating Becka’s leg has taken.
Hate used the corner to help her get back to her feet, having to lean against it to stay up as she rubbed her knee with both hands. Lacey made it back to her feet with a scowl, and took off towards her...only to run into a boot to the face when Becka got her leg up in time. It stumbled her backwards a couple steps as Becka tried to step out of the corner, albeit gingerly. Lacey got her bearings and went to get her again before Hate surprised her with a lungblower before going for the cover!
Kevin: Hate fighting on one leg practically, and there’s a lungblower! She might do it right here!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THRE-NO!
Lacey got her shoulder up before the three, and the Hall of Famer struggled to get back to her feet. She was practically hopping on one foot as she did so though, looking down at Lacey with a severe expression on her face before she gave the call for her finisher again.
Emma: Becka is not happy about not getting the three there, not that you can blame her too much. Anything for a break.
Lacey slowly began to get to her feet, only for Becka to plant her head between her legs. The fans in the Garden came to their feet as she leaned over to grab her around the waist, still mostly on one leg.
Kevin: She’s gonna go for the KALFU again...but with one bad knee, I don’t know about this!
As soon as she tried to lift her up though, Becka’s knee gave out on her and she dropped back to the mat. Lacey quickly grabbed both legs, and applied an inverted figure four leglock this time. Hate shouted in pain as soon as the hold was applied, and Rocca darted around in front of her to check for the submission.
Emma: Lacey is straight back on the bad leg, and anything to get that submission at this point!
Lacey had the hold expertly applied as Becka’s fingers started clawing her scalp. Her face looked as though she were being tortured, and that’s exactly what was happening. The referee checked again and again, still not getting the right answer to stop the match. She tried to reach for the ropes, but it was Lacey close tot he ropes with Becka in the center of the ring. The powerhouse tried to pull them both to the ropes, but couldn’t get any movement at all.
Kevin: Good Lord! How much more of this can Rebecka take?! Her knee is being tortured, and Lacey has no reason to release it either!
Emma: If there isn’t a torn ligament in there somewhere by now, I’ll be impressed!
Hate shouted in pain once again, and the referee had to ask the question. She didn’t get the answer she was looking for still, and Becka’s fingers clawed at the canvas. The mat began to tear where Hate’s nails had dug into it as she tried to claw her away to the ropes. The Hall of Famer buried her head in the crook of her arm, and finally tapped out. The referee called for the bell, and Lacey broke the hold and got back to her feet.
Kevin: I can only imagine what Becka was feeling, but it was debilitating enough for her to make the smart decision and end this! And Lacey has retained her title!
Emma: You don’t see someone tap out too often, but there is definitely a case of pride comes after your health. And that's definitely the case here.
John: Your winner by submission…...AND STIIIIIIIIILLL SVW Champion…..LACEY!!!
A trainer and Christian both headed into the ring to check on Becka as Kyle raised his client’s hand. Lacey snatched her title from the referee. She thrust it over her head to boos from the New York City crowd.
Kevin: Lacey was relentless when she found her opening on the challenger, and I’ll give credit where it’s due. She took a thumping, but she still came away with the win...by submission no less. I’m impressed.
Emma: It was quite the match, though I can’t help but feel it did get slightly one-sided near the end, though the number Lacey did on Becka’s leg facilitated that.
King of the jungle, humbly stay honest
Eat with the lions, swim with piranhas
The New York City crowd went from boos to a roar as they looked towards the ramp to see the “Fat Cheetah” in his ring gear with the golden case in his hands. Lacey’s eyes widened as she clutched her title to her chest at the sight of the big man.
Kevin: Uh oh….I don’t think your night is over just yet, champ! He’s six foot six and 450 pounds...and fresh as a daisy!
Emma: If I’m Lacey, I’m doing a little bit more than holding my title like that. But that’s just me.
Paul headed down the ramp, and up the steps to the apron. The big man looked out over the crowd, and waved the referee over while John got up from his seat.
Kevin: He tried this once before, but the Gold Standard prevented it. Then our network troubleshooter banned them from ringside….so Lacey’s in big trouble!
Emma: She is, she is! I wouldn’t want to be in her shoes right now.
Paul handed the briefcase to the referee as Lacey backed up towards the ropes. Kyle was halfway out of the ring to the floor when John began to speak.
John: Ladies and gentlemen, Paul James is cashing in his Midas Touch Contract! The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SVW Championship!
The Garden crowd roared in approval as the big man stood on the apron, flashing a big smile towards the very alarmed Lacey, who was still clutching her title. The referee went to get it from her, but Lacey didn’t want to let it go.
Kevin: Paul’s eyeing up the champion like one of those steaks he likes so much! The champion doesn’t want to let go of the title!
Emma: No one would! The more you stall, the better your recovery gets in a situation like this. And even then...not when you’ve worked already to keep it.
The referee tried to get Lacey to give her the title so she could call for the bell. That was when a crowbar smashed against the big man’s ankle from behind, causing him to crumple off the apron to the floor. The fans booed loudly as Ryan Sheffield kept striking his ankle until the crowbar was dented. Lacey ducked out of the ring on the other side, and headed quickly for the back with Kyle right behind her.
Kevin: What the…?! Ryan Sheffield is assaulting the big man’s ankle, and this has to be a receipt for Paul nearly cleaning his clock a couple weeks ago! He’s not part of the Gold Standard obviously, but Lacey will still take the help!
Emma: It was unexpected, that’s for sure. And I can’t say it’s the worst thing to happen in terms of score evening, but I’m fairly sure it went a bit further here.
Ryan tossed the dented tool to the floor, and doubled back towards the ramp as trainers then went to help the Cheetah. Paul’s face was a mix of pain and anger as he looked up to see Ryan retreating.
Kevin; Ryan doesn’t want the Cheetah anywhere near the SVW Championship picture now that he’s earned his shot at the title. So he’s trying to put the biggest threat in the whole picture on the shelf! But judging by the look on the Cheetah’s face, he might have bought himself a massive problem!
Emma: He bought himself a massive problem when he started trying to get the belt off Lacey...it just so happens that it’s getting worse for him.
Kevin: The bell never rang, so the Cheetah is still holding the contract...and a lot of bad intentions for Ryan Sheffield to go with it!
Ryan darted through the back as Lacey stood at the top of the ramp, holding her title above her head. Rampage then faded to black.
