John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to the finish...!
The lights in the arena go almost out, allowing yellow and blue strobes to take effect as the quietly intense opening of Rev Theory’s “Something New” starts over the speakers. On the sound of the notes, the crowd jeers and from under the stage, The Brazilian Storm, Bianca and Mel, are lifted.
Love to hate, repeating my mistakes
Now there's no one left to listen...
No one left to listen...
Take a chance, and fuck the consequence
When there's no one left to listen...
No one left to listen...
The two friends look to each other, grin and fist bump. Looking out around them, they continue to grin at the reaction they’re getting. From there, they begin their walk towards the ring.
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting! Tired of waiting!
For something new!
Right now! We’re taking control!
Tired of waiting! Tired of waiting!
For something new!
Ignoring the outstretched arms of fans who want a high-five, the Brazilians make their way to the ring, where Mel pulls herself onto the apron using the ropes, and Bianca stops right under her, where the two rogues strike a pose, with Mel taking a soft dip of a bow, and Bianca opening her arms wide.
John: Introducing first/And their opponents… From Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre, Brazil… MEL AVILO… BIANCA SALVADOR… THE BRAZILIAN STORM!!!
Mel then steps into the ring and Bianca rolls under the bottom rope right afterwards. The two of them then make their ways to opposite turnbuckles, both climbing on the second rope and staring at the booing crowd, diminishing the negative welcome they’re getting from the crowd their own way before they hop back to the ring and meet once again in the center of the ring, sharing another fist bump, before they retreat to their corner to strategize.
Melissa: Dante, if the Storm have their way, they’ll be coming to the ring with tag titles in both companies they wrestle for.
Dante: They could but even if their mutual manager runs Aggression, they have many obstacles in front of them, already starting with a team who has been on the hunt for tag titles for some time now.
As Billy Talent’s “Viking Death March” starts Conor heads out to the middle of the entrance ramp with a smug grin on his face and with a great sense of theatre he peels off his vest top...and gets a slap to the back of the head from Nancy as she steps out from the back. The duo move towards the ring, Nancy looking focused while Conor takes a little longer, showing off his tattoos and biceps. As Nancy reaches the ring she slides in underneath the bottom rope and heads to her corner, climbing the turnbuckle and throwing her hands in the air before glaring at Conor. The young man stops playing around and sprints the rest of the way, sliding into the ring where he loosens up before he joins Nancy for a last minute tactical discussion as they wait for the match to start.
John: Please welcome to the ring, Nancy Hudson and Conor Morrison…. DOGS OF WAR 2.0!!!
Dante: By now I think all the kinks have been worked out in this team and that will spell a distinct problem for the Storm.
Melissa: Will we see another title reign attached to the Dogs? The road begins again here and through Mel and Bianca!
DING! DING! DING!
The match already gets rolling with Bianca starting for her team and Nancy starting for her’s. Salvador, being no stranger to brawlers is already focused on Nancy’s arms, not looking for a round of Deliverance across the jaw so to speak. Salvador leads Nancy through with an armdrag, quickly getting her on her back but when Nancy is up again she gets caught in arm drag a second time, and then a third, this time leading right into an armbar. Hudson finds herself on her knees as Bianca tries to wrench her arm out of her shoulder, almost going for a Fujiwara-like armbar, but instead she proceeds to kick Hudson under the arm before hooking it up in her own and suddenly hopping over the apron, with Hudson’s arm still in her grip. Suddenly she jumps off the apron and onto the ground, snapping Hudson’s arm off the top rope. The Raleigh crowd boos her furiously as she dusts her hands with a smirk and rolls back in to roll over Nancy and get a pin.
OOONNNNNEEEEE!!
KICKOUT!!
Nancy gets the shoulder up and Salvador quickly begins dragging Hudson over to the Storm’s corner where Mel gets a tag in. Bianca suddenly hooks Hudson’s legs under her arms and lifts her upward in an inverted wheelbarrow hold just so Avilo can hop over the ropes and double stomp her in the ribs. She sticks the landing with the double foot stomp to the ribs. She rolls through with a hard glare as Salvador slips through the ropes. Mel starts putting the boots to Nancy’s face, grinding her heel against her mouth and the bottom of the sole against her nose. She continues stomping away, grinding her heel once more before she dragged Nancy into the middle of the ring, rolling her over just so she can show off a deadlift german suplex for Nancy’s trouble, sending he rup and over her.
Melissa: Brazilian Storm out to have their way with Nancy, trying to keep her away from Conor. They want to isolate her as much as possible, wear her down.
Dante: They don’t want a game Nancy throwing down on them and they don’t want a runaway freight train in Conor trying to run them over. Now Mel showing off her suplex chops here.
OOONNNNNEEEEE!!
TTTWWW---!!
KICKOUT!!
Mel doesn’t look like she expected that pin to keep for long, but she drops down and hooks the side of Nancy’s head before peppering her with a few good stiff hands to the temple. She forces her to stand before irish-whipping her towards the ropes and on the rebound attempts a straight up savate kick, Nancy ducks it however and comes with a clothesline that catches Mel off guard, sending her to the mat! With an actual opening to her, Nancy gets herself up and grabs Mel before forcing her into the corner. She starts teeing off on Avilo, climbing to the second rope of the turnbuckle and letting off ten strong punches, one after the next before she drops down to knee Mel straight in the gut to keep her there for a moment... Avilo goes to tag Conor in so they can do the tandem...
But the moment she gets there Bianca suddenly grabs Conor by the legs and jerks him off the apron! The referee begins to admonish the Typhoon as she holds her hands up, swearing it was a love tap as Conor stares a hole through her. Before he can put his hands on her, Salvador is already heading back to her corner, a wide smile on her face as Conor climbs back up to tag in Nancy only for Mel to emerge from the corner and bulldog Nancy JUST in time to stop a tag from happening...
...
And drags Nancy right back to the Brazilian Storm’s corner, with an exasperated look on Conor’s face.
Dante: The Storm are truly out to cut Nancy off from her tag partner, and now a bulldog from Avilo!
Melissa: There’s the tag to Bianca agai--- HIGH-ANGLE GERMAN INTO A LUNGBLOWER!! How can Nancy take this punishment?
Hudson gets powered up with a powerful release german, getting knees to the back compliments of Bianca. She and Mel look at each other and shake hands to the boos of the PNC Arena. They both look down at her before Bianca grabs Nancy by both ankles as Mel suddenly takes off and blasts Conor across the jaw! Morrison gets through the ropes and goes after her, causing Weatherby to try and push him back... As Bianca takes this moment of the referee not watching to drop a knee as far below the belt on Nancy as possible. She rolls around in pain as the Typhoon has a laugh to herself before she asks Nancy if she’s having fun yet. She forces Nancy to stand up before pulling her into an arm breaker, snapping it off as Hudson hugs her arm before Salvador shoves her over and gets her in a grounded hammerlock. At first it looks like she’s going for a Gannosuke Clutch but she just keeps slapping the back of Nancy’s head, mocking her, talking shit as Bianca is wont to do before looking around and asking if any of those in the cheap seats want a piece of her as well... THEN comes the Gannosuke Clutch.
OOONNNNNEEEEE!!

KICKOUT!!
Dante: So close that time and Bianca looking as though she has something planned!
A look of annoyance runs over Bianca’s face before she smirks and seems to get an idea. She grabs Nancy by the arm and straight jackets her, the crowd already sensing that Bianca is going to try and lay Nancy out with her own short arm elbow smash. She grins wide and flings her, pulling her back but Nancy responds with a brutal headbutt that makes Bianca stumble backwards, having to check her own forehead to see she’s been busted open and still in a daze! Before she gets a chance to counter attack, Nancy BITES her face, causing her to screech and then... Kick to the knee, drop, Spike DDT. Salvador drops down, spread eagled as Nancy stumbles towards her corner and gets a few inches closer. Suddenly both Conor and Mel are looking for the tag... With the capacity crowd rumbling.
Mel: Nancy knows her own move better than anyone and she wasn’t about to get laid out with it! Bianca’s been busted open and now both Conor and Mel are looking for tags...
Conor gets the tag from Nancy.
Bianca gets the tag from Mel.
Pandemonium begins as the big man begins rushing out of the corner, literally on fire! Mel attempts a hurricanrana on Conor, jumping on his shoulders but only getting a big time Gorilla Press Slam for her troubles! The moment Bianca gets up, trying to attack as well, Weatherby opens his mouth to stop her... Only for Conor to spear her so hard she goes flopping out of the ring, through the ropes, over the apron, and onto the ground. Mel goes for a chop block, catching Conor by the back of the leg and he is momentarily stopped but when she attempts a savate kick on the big man, he counters her with a scoop slam and drops her on her back in a big way, causing her to writhe before he gets the pin.
OOONNNNNEEEEE!!

KICKOUT!!
Dante: Avilo is getting all she can handle and then some from Conor here! Big time scoop slam and it looks like there’s more where that came from.
Mel finally gets back to her feet and starts trying to pepper the larger frame of the big man with hard forearm shorts. It seems to have something of an effect, slowing him down slightly but he eventually answers her with a big headbutt. She answers back with a headbutt of her own but when she comes back at him he flapjacks her and lets her get a headbutt with the turnbuckle! Her eyes roll in the back of her head and he catches her with a back body drop for her trouble. Avilo puts a hand on the back of her head in pain, landing more on that than her shoulders as she looks like she wants to try and sit up but there’s a bit of a problem in the attempt, when she lays back down. Conor heads back to his corner for a tag as Mel is sitting up, and hops over her... There’s a look of confusion on Mel’s face... Until Conor comes running, catching her with a big boot to the jaw as Nancy catches her with a leg sweep! She goes down and Conor hops over the ropes only to be tagged in again as the Dogs get in position... A plan in mind.
Melissa: A HI-LO from the Dogs 2.0 and we’re looking at the end for the Storm! There’s discharge in Mel’s future!
Conor grabs Mel by the wrist and irish-whips her... On the rebound the camera catches a hand tagging Mel on the back as Bianca gets a blind tag! As Mel gets lifted by the legal Conor she sails over him and crash lands into Nancy, the two of them tumbling outside! Conor looks back at his tag partner as Bianca suddenly jerks him into a roll up using her entire body to do so! She’s got a handful of tights AND her legs on the rope but the referee doesn’t see it!
Dante: Bianca with the blind tag and the roll up... FEET ON THE ROPES! FEET ON THE ROPES!
OOONNNNNEEEEE!!

TTTHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!
DING! DING! DING!
John: Here are your winners... THE BRAZILIAN STORM!!
Conor pushes himself up as Bianca’s already rolling out of the ring and Mel has her in tow, the two grinning ear to ear in a stolen victory! Nancy rolls back into the ring to talk to Conor, having seen what just happened! The PNC Arena is booing the entire time Rev Theory plays as referee Weatherby is pointed to by the Dogs to the video wall for the instant replay.
Melissa: Weatherby is realizing his mistake but he can’t do anything. A ruling is a ruling. Nancy and Conor are asking for the match to be restarted... Let’s finish this thing fairly! I agree with ‘em Dante.
The Storm hear the Dogs asking for a restart. Mel and Bianca look at each other and then back at the ring as Nancy and Conor make a motion of come back in so they can finish this right. The Brazilian Storm look at each other and nod before heading right back to the ring, both women grabbing the ropes and jumping on the apron. Weatherby looks at both teams, saying if the winners agree he’ll restart it...
Bianca and Mel step through...
...
And then Tiger Feint Kick back out, having a good laugh.
Dante: The Storm seem to think they have absolutely nothing to prove here and back out of the ring they go. We’re not done here Melissa. At least I don’t think so.
On that note we head to commercial.Cassandra CaresAggression returns from the commercial break, and the loud booing is extremely hard to miss as we see the reason why standing in the center of the ring: SVW Vice Present Cassandra Steen.
Melissa: Our vice president came out during the break, and you can hear how happy everyone here is to see her. Let’s hear what’s on her mind.
Cassandra: I know that Raleigh is known as the City of Oaks, but I didn’t realise that meant it’s inhabitants would all be as thick as two short planks. I didn't pay to listen to you, you paid to listen to me. So if you are quite finished, I have a couple of things that I want to address. Honestly, even if you aren’t finished I am going to address them anyway, so you might as well save your voices for cheering in the matches and pipe down.
Dante: If you’re wondering where the Cassandra Steen Fan Club meeting is this week, there’s a phone booth about a block away.
Melissa: I hope one of the topics is the screwjob she gave her sister last week at Uprising.
Cassandra: Firstly, I want to commend the General Manager of this brand. I said after his appointment that his experience was the reason for him securing this position, and he has shown that without a doubt so far. I think it should be clear for anybody watching that Kyle Kilmeade was the ONLY suitable choice for GM of Aggression and he has far exceeded even my expectations. Ratings for the last Aggression where through the roof and that is all thanks to the talents of Mr Kilmeade.
Melissa: Yah, we know you think he’s the best at everything. This isn’t what people want to hear about, with all due respect.
Dante: If SVW ever opens a Mutual Admiration Society, I think we’ve found the charter members between her and Kilmeade.
Cassandra: Now secondly, I have had quite a number of people ask me about the ending of Missy’s Pride Championship match on the last Uprising. I am getting a little tired of being questioned on my motives, when it should be clear to anybody with half a brain that was I obviously operating in a wrestlers best interests. The wellbeing of the wrestlers across both brands is of paramount importance to me, so of course when I see a SVW wrestler about to have her arm removed from its socket, especially one who was being stubborn and not tapping out, then of course I am going to do whatever is necessary to ensure their health and safety. I know that this answer is not going to fit into Missy’s neat little narrative about a conspiracy against her, but that is not my problem.
Melissa: What a load of horse manure that is! Didn’t she used to compete in brutal matches in her career before she came to SVW or FFW?
Dante: Yes. Yes, she did. But that’s obviously not going to fit the official line here from SVW management.
The loud boos of the crowd only grew in their decibel range, causing the Vice President to look out over them with a dismissive shake of her head.
Cassandra: And in the interest of my sister’s long term health, I am hereby suspending----
We Fall We Fall
We Fall We Fall
The harder they come, the harder they fall
The quicker they come, the quicker they fallThe fans in the arena roar quite loudly as the billionaire steps out onto the ramp, his hands briefly in his pockets before he adjusts his cufflinks. A glance around the arena, he sports a small smile with his Brooks Brothers pinstripe suit. Cassandra looks back to the ramp, her face losing a slight bit of color as the CEO stands and looks at the ring.
Melissa: Well well well…...guess who’s back?!
Dante: I don’t know exactly where he’s been, but I think a whole lot of people are very happy to see the owner of SVW back. Raleigh seems to be!
Stryfe strolled towards the ring, and up the steps. A duck through the ropes, he looked out over the crowd once again with his arms out to quite a pop. Cassandra offered him her microphone, which took with a thanks as his music started to fade out. She heads towards the ropes, about to step up before he gently grabs her arm and requests she stay instead. She ultimately does before he finally addresses the crowd.
Alexander: Thank you, I’ve missed you too. Before I get into some business, a lot of speculation has been circulating about my absence. Allow me to fill you in. In the middle of last month, I had surgery on my knee that had been long overdue for many years. During the holiday, I thought it would be best to finally get it taken care of. But the recovery process took a bit longer than I anticipated, but I assure you I am back at 100%.
He looked towards the Vice President.
Alexander: And I’ve been watching.
Melissa: This is like getting called to the principal’s office. I’d feel bad for her if I liked her more.
Alexander: It’s good to be back, and just in the nick of time, I think. So let’s address a few things. I’ll start with the situation regarding the SVW Championship. Emma MacNamara won the title at Rampage in a rather chaotic match, but was unable to pin or submit Kelly Kincaid in their rematch. And then we have Luther Thunder, who is owed a shot. So here’s what I am going to do at Criminal Intent. The easy answer would be to put them into a triple threat, but frankly, I think we can do better. So at Criminal Intent for the SVW Championship, it will be Emma MacNamara defending her title against Kelly Kincaid and Luther Thunder…..in a LADDER MATCH!
This gets a loud pop from the crowd, causing the CEO to nod.
Alexander: The next thing I want to address is the Defiance Championship. Mr. Kilmeade, who my Vice President here, thinks the world of has put the “Fat Cheetah” into a situation where the title will be defended twice at Criminal Intent. And he has given Sunny quite the advantage by making her the final challenger after Mr. James and Isis collide. Well….I have a small problem with that. While my Vice President may be fond of Mr. Kilmeade and while he may think well of Sunny, they are entitled to their opinions. However, Sunny will have a match as well that night prior to getting to compete for the Defiance Championship against either Paul James or Isis Morales. She will go one on one with someone who has been quite interested in facing her for several weeks…...SHANE ATWATER!!
Dante: Okay, well Sunny may not make it to the title shot after all the crap she and the Worthy have caused Shane last year.
Melissa: Sounds fair to me! No reason for her to get any preferential treatment. She’s gotta go through a buzzsaw at Criminal Intent first!
Alexander: Next on my agenda is the Midas Touch contract. David Cyclone may have possession of the contract, but he is not able to cash it in. At all. And come Criminal Intent, I will have a brand new contract I will give Miss Stefano, negating and voiding the one Mr. Cyclone has! But I will make him a deal. If he can beat Miss Stefano in a rematch, I’ll see to it he gets a future SVW Championship match! But he has to do it...under No Disqualifications at Criminal Intent!
This gets quite a pop from the crowd.
Melissa: Steph’s licking her chops in the back right now!
Alexander: At Rampage, I also seem to recall Harmony facing her old friend, Mika Demidov. And I also recall Kyle Kilmeade being very….hands on during that match. As a result of that, I am booking a rematch at Criminal Intent. And to ensure a just outcome, I am banning Kyle Kilmeade from ringside. If he so much as appears at ringside after the bell rings, the referee has full authority to immediately award the match to Harmony!
Dante: I bet Harmony just got in a much better mood too! Mika...probably not as much.
Alexander: And finally, that brings me….to you, Miss Steen.
He turns his attention back to the Vice President.
Alexander While it is true that I put you in charge while I was unable to travel due to my recovery, you made some interesting decisions. For one, you fired the Aggression General Manager I had placed some time ago, and rehired Kyle Kilmeade. I’ll have some news for Mr. Kilmeade very soon, but since you’re here, I see no point in putting off what I have in mind….for you.
A bit more color drained from Cassandra’s face as the CEO continued.
Alexander: I’ve decided that SVW is clearly not big enough to house both you and your sister. It’s going to be a constant struggle, and nothing but acrimony having you both here. It is apparent to me that action needs to be taken. One of you has to go.
The crowd livens up again, anticipating hearing who it will be. Cassandra nods in agreement with this.
Alexander: But you see, I’m not going to make that decision. You are.
Cassandra: In that case, to my sister, you’re f---
Alexander: Along with your sister, Miss Steen.
Cassandra had a slightly confused look on her face as Stryfe went on.
Alexander: At Criminal Intent, you are going to go one on one with your sister, Missy, in a Loser Leaves SVW match!
Cassandra: WHAT?!
This gets another pop from the crowd.
Melissa: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Alexander: If you win that match, your sister will be fired from SVW on the spot. But if your sister wins, your services as Vice President of this company will no longer be required.
Dante: Somewhere, Missy just shouted in jubilation. Probably Boston.
Cassandra looked more than a little agitated by this news.
Alexander: However, Miss Steen, I realize there is a wide gap between your experience levels in wrestling. So I am going to allow you to select a referee to officiate your match against Missy. You have until Uprising to make your decision when you let us….and her know.
Melissa: Well there’s a wrinkle right there. The sisters will meet finally after months of Cassandra screwing her sister over, but she gets to pick the referee.
Dante: After all this, I’ll bet you even money it won’t be Stryfe.
Alexander: I encourage all of you to follow my Twitter account, because I have a few more decisions coming very soon as it pertains to Criminal Intent. Because as it is part of the job of the CEO of this company, I’m going to be providing a great deal of..
Fans: OVERSIGHT!
Stryfe nods in agreement as his music begins to play again. A smile is shown towards his Vice President as Aggression fades to a commercial break.
