The show returns to the ring after the video package, and John stands in the center ready to introduce the opponents for the main event.
John: The following contest is your main event scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SVW Championship!
Kevin: It’s a rematch that’s almost been a year in the making! And there’s no better stage than Climax to settle it tonight.
Emma: Absolutely none at all! I’ve been looking forward to this since it all started looking that way, though mostly because I like the idea of Scarlett and Lacey beating each other silly.
The lights go out, leaving the crowd in silence for a moment before “Into The Sun” by The Parlor Mob kicks in, all the lights in the arena stuttering on and off. As the guitar opening slows down the lights die and are replaced only by a bright white spotlight shining down onto the middle of the entrance ramp like a golden sunbeam slicing down from the heavens and illuminating where Scarlett Kincaid, head bowed. As the first verse is sung, She stands there, breathing deeply and composing herself for a long couple of seconds before she starts to head toward the ring. On her way down the entrance ramp she high fives as many of the fans on both sides of the entrance ramp as she possibly can on her way to the ring.
As she gets to the ring she climbs onto the apron and stands in the middle of the ropes, leaning backwards over the top rope as she pumps her fist. The red haired wrestler pauses for a couple of seconds to take a deep breath before she turns to face the ring, grabbing hold of the top rope and then catapults herself into the ring. Landing on her feet she charges to the opposite corner she leaps to the top, holding her arm aloft to a loud ovation from the crowd. Finally she turns and drops to sit on the top turnbuckle, looking into the ring, nodding her head along to the song as it draws to a close and the lights return to normal she drops down onto her feet in the corner, kissing two of her fingertips she presses the kiss against two small sets of initials - EK & EGD - embroidered on her ring gear at her hip.
John: Standing 5’6” tall, weighing in at 128 lbs and hailing from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Please welcome…. SCARLETT KINCAID!!!
Kevin: Scarlett Kincaid has been waging a war against the Gold Standard, and tonight she has the chance to take away their most coveted prize: the richest prize in SVW. And unlike her last meeting with Lacey, her brother-in-law has made this match one on one.
Emma: It is the only way it should be. You wanna prove you’re the best then that’s the best way to do it. I love tag wrestling, but I love the dopamine hit from a singles win even more.
The lights dim as the opening bars of Turn You On by Stitched Up Heart hit the speakers around the arena.
Are you awake, You're gonna have to hear the words I say Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me I can't wait to watch your ego bleed Your pain will set me free
A red spotlight hits the curtain and Kyle Kilmeade walks out and proceeds to hold it open for Lacey to walk through. Stepping onto the stage in front of Kyle, Lacey wears a green and black one piece, which has a deep vee cut all the way to her navel, black fishnet tights and matching green and black boots. She runs her hands down her curves, while giving a little sway of her hips and then stands with her arms folded across her chest and her head lowers.
I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on Close your eyes, And come with me tonight I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on
She snaps her head up and flings her arms out at the sides of her in one fluid motion, almost as if someone has just pulled the strings on a puppet. Keeping her gaze straight ahead she slowly smirks before lowering her arms to her sides and making her way down the ramp with Kyle walking beside her.
I'll make you beg, I'm gonna teach you things you won't forget Don't you try turn away, I'm everything you ever dreamed I'd be I'll make you wish that you never talked, Back to me I can't wait to watch your ego bleed Your pain will set me free
John: Making her way to the ring at this time,.....Your reigning and defending SVW Champion…..LAAAAACEEEEEY!!!
I'd bite I'd scratch I'd hold you down, Just to turn you on I'd leave you waiting tied and bound, Just to turn you on Close your eyes, And come with me tonight I'd burn this whole room to the ground, Just to turn, just to turn you on
Completely ignoring the crowd at either side of the ramp, Lacey speeds up as she reaches the ring and jumps up onto the apron. Taking hold of the top rope with both hands, she slowly and seductively sways her hips and wiggles her way down and back up, almost like a serpent, before springboarding over the top rope. When she lands in the ring she immediately drops down into the splits and stays there for a moment with her arms outstretched. After getting back to her feet, she climbs up onto the top turnbuckle facing the outside. Pulling something from her top she opens her palm and blows the contents into the crowd.
I can't wait to watch your ego bleed And all the pain you feel will set you free If you behave this night will never end Turn off the lights and start again
The lights shut off completely for a second at the end of the theme, when they come back on, Lacey is standing in her corner sharing some last minute words with Kyle.
Kevin: It was Valentine’s Day of this year on SVW’s 10th anniversary that Lacey became the SVW Champion. And it’s safe to say there’s been very little love for her as the champion. But I know she doesn’t care, all she cares about is that title and making sure she leaves Portland with it.
Emma: Which is an entirely reasonable thing to want to do. We just have the small issue of what happened in the previous match, and the person who didn’t wrestle a full match also wants that belt. Namely Paul James.
Referee Angela Rocca took the title from Lacey, and held it over her head before handing it to John and calling for the bell. And as soon as the bell rang, Scarlett took off out of the corner with a double leg takedown of the champion and began hammering away with right hands to the side of her head. The Portland crowd roared as the Cajun laid in blistering right hands before pulling Lacey to her feet. She whipped her across into the far side, and caught her on the rebound with a spinning heel kick that wobbled the champion backwards. Kincaid rebounded off the ropes behind her, and caught her as she turned around with a running high knee to the face followed by a spinebuster!
Kevin: Scarlett’s been waiting a long time to get her hands on Lacey with the title on the line, and she’s making up for lost time!
Emma: She really is. I don’t think Lacey’s had so much as a second to breathe, never mind work out what her next move should be.
Lacey got back to her feet, only to get fired into the far corner. Scarlett was hot on her heels, and caught her with a running elbow smash to the mouth. That’s when the body shots came into play as Kincaid used her hand to fire off combinations followed by an uppercut. The champion stumbled out of the corner, only to get snagged from behind into a German suplex with a bridge for the cover.
Kevin: Scarlett’s hitting on all cylinders, and Lacey’s in trouble early!
ONE!!
T-NO!
The SVW Champion got her shoulder up in time, and Scarlett quickly got back to her feet. She started peppering her with lefts and rights to the jaw after she got up, and finished off the flurry with a bionic elbow to the top of her head that dropped Lacey to her knees.
Emma: Lacey’s had the wind more than knocked out of her, but not enough that it was going to create a record-time title change!
The challenger bolted for the near side, coming back with a shining wizard to the back of Lacey’s head. She quickly pulled her up into a front facelock, and was about to execute a vertical suplex. But Lacey blocked it, and shoved her backwards into the corner. A trio of shoulder thrusts landed before Lacey was able to get away from her. The champion took a moment to collect herself, and Scarlett was right behind her almost immediately. Kincaid grabbed a rear waistlock as Lacey pulled the referee nose to nose with her as she fired a mule kick between the Cajun’s legs. Rocca never saw it, but it freed the champion from the Cajun’s grip and saw Scarlett crumple to her knees.
Emma: Lacey using brain and a bit of nonsense - supposedly - to get the upper hand for the first time in the match.
Kevin: Lacey knows all the tricks, and she’s learned them well working with her manager as long as she has. There’s no shortcut those two won’t take.
Lacey got a cruel look on her face as she spun around with a knee strike into the side of Kincaid’s head. It toppled her over to the mat, and Lacey dropped to all fours to apply a blatant choke with one hand. The referee counted her down to four before she let go, and then applied headscissors as she sat on the canvas. The champion locked her ankles, and it was obvious by her expression she was squeezing her legs together as tightly as possible.
Kevin: Look at that face, she’s trying to pop Scarlett’s head like a pimple here. Plus this gives Lacey a little time to get her marbles together.
Emma: That implies that she has marbles, Kevin. Either way, it’s gonna do a serious number to Scarlett’s head.
Scarlett tried using her hands on Lacey’s legs in an attempt to pull her head free from the champion’s grip. As soon as Lacey felt it, she rolled onto her stomach and started pistoning her hips to drive the top of Scarlett’s head into the canvas repeatedly. She rolled back to a seat, and Scarlett’s body slumped momentarily as a result. Rocca asked the challenger about stopping the match, but got no sign that was what Scarlett wanted to do.
Kevin: I can’t recall too many times I’ve ever seen Kincaid tap out. Be that as it may, I think Lacey’s regained her composure now and that’s bad news for the challenger.
Emma: It really is...though my big question is what made Rocca think that Scarlett was going to quit at that moment. Generally, if we wanna tap out, we’ll do it. You don’t need to ask us.
The Cajun started moving again now, but was trying to stand up in the hold. She made it to her feet, but her head was still stuck. So Scarlett started shoving her hands and arms between Lacey’s legs, and managed to prise them open enough to free herself. She stumbled backwards, dropping to a knee for a moment to get her bearings before Lacey caught her with a running boot to the head after telling her to “KNEEL BEFORE ME!’ The champion dropped down to make the cover.
Kevin: What a kick right to the dome! Lacey’s ready to call it a night and leave with the SVW Championship!
ONE!!!
TWOOO!!
Scarlett got her shoulder up just as the two struck the mat, and rolled away from Lacey to get back to her feet. She didn’t make it entirely before the champion caught her with a running punt kick to her ribs that lifted her off the ground slightly for a second.
Emma: Scarlett’s doing her best to put distance in between her and Lacey, tough I can’t say it’s working.
Lacey stepped over her, and sat down on her back to apply a camel clutch submission. She cranked back on Scarlett’s head, berating and insulting her as she did so. Once more, the referee moved around to see about a submission. But again, Scarlett wasn’t ready to quit. She saw how close she was to the ropes, and kicked her foot across the bottom. But the referee was on the wrong side to see it, and Kyle knocked it off as he passed on the outside.
Kevin: Kilmeade’s earning his money tonight for the champion. The referee didn’t see the foot on the ropes on the other side, and Lacey’s using wear down hold after wear down hold.
Emma: Hey, it’s effective. And honestly, just wearing Scarlett out is probably the smartest thing you can do. Scarlett doesn’t treat wrestling like a sprint, but a marathon and can go for days as a result.
Kincaid kicked her foot across the rope again, and the fans tried to point it out to the referee. Rocca leaned around and saw it just a second before Kyle was gonna knock it off again. She called for the break, which Lacey gave at a four count and told the fans to shut up. They didn’t listen, and she pulled Kincaid into position for a piledriver instead. But Scarlett countered out of it with a back body drop over the top rope, causing Lacey to hit the apron and then the floor. Kincaid stumbled forward to a knee, and tried to recuperate quickly.
Kevin: Scarlett’s bought herself a little time here to get it together, but I doubt she wants Lacey on the floor. She’s not above taking a walk in matches.
Emma: No one wants anything other than a pin or submission...well, unless you’re Lacey and ultimately keeping the belt is the most important part of this.
Kyle helped Lacey up, whispering something in her ear before she climbed back up onto the apron. She spotted Scarlett getting back to her feet, and quickly stepped into the ring to circle around behind her. The Cajun glanced around to find her, but the champion descended on her quickly and applied a full nelson. But she was struggling to get her fingers locked, and Scarlett countered by driving her backwards into the nearest corner. It knocked the wind out of her for a moment, and Scarlett stepped away from her. When Lacey went to grab her from behind, Scarlett surprised her with a stunner that sent the champion bouncing off the mat and brought the Portland crowd to its feet.
Kevin: That might have been pure instinct from Scarlett right there, but she needs to go for the cover quickly!
Emma: A cover now would maybe get her what she wants. Not doing so would just make the match longer than she really needed it to be.
Scarlett, instead, sat on the mat and was shaking her head to get her bearings back. When she got up, Kincaid scooped Lacey up onto her shoulders into a fireman’s carry double knee gutbuster before quickly making the cover. Rocca slid right into position to make the count.
Kevin: A new wrinkle in Scarlett’s arsenal right there, and it may lead her to the SVW Championship!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR-NO!
Lacey’s shoulder came up in time before the three, and Scarlett rose back to her feet. She headed for the nearest corner, and quickly ascended it before Lacey was up. When the champion spun around, Scarlett launched into a meteora knee strike that drove her back into the canvas.
Emma: Scarlett seems to be enjoying pulling out the lesser-used things that she knows right now, and that can only work in her favour when you’re the one the tapes are being watched on. Things you can’t always see coming!
With the fans getting behind her even more, Scarlett headed back to the corner. She quickly scaled it, and launched into her top rope corkscrew shooting star press! It brought the fans to their feet again as she landed it perfectly, and went for the cover!
Kevin: The KINCAID CASCADE!! I think we’re gonna have a new champion!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!
Lacey’s shoulder came up in the nick of time, causing Scarlett to double check with the referee it was only a two count. Rocca confirmed it, and Scarlett pulled Lacey up to plant her head between her legs. She was about to go for her finisher, but Lacey swept her legs out from under her and caused her to land on the back of her head.
Emma: She was going for it...until she wasn’t! Lacey does not have losing on her mind tonight, and she’s proving it!
She lumbered forward a couple steps as Scarlett was getting back to her feet. The Cajun went to grab her from behind, and caught a back elbow to the mouth for her troubles. Two more followed that before Lacey ended up behind her for a full nelson facebuster! Kincaid’s face and body spiked the mat before the champion rolled her over for the cover.
Emma: That full nelson facebuster went down with a force I did not expect, and that might be everything from Scarlett!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!
Kincaid’s shoulder came up at the last second, and Lacey rose slowly back to her feet. She looked towards her manager, and Kyle encouraged her to finish it. The SVW Champion agreed with that as she squatted for a moment, awaiting Scarlett to get up again.
Kevin: Kyle just gave the champion the signal to put this thing away, and it looks like Lacey’s about to do just that!
Scarlett began to stir, and started to get to her feet as Lacey moved around into position. When the challenger was finally on her feet, Lacey grabbed her into position for her finisher. A smirk formed on Lacey’s face...just before Scarlett used a headbutt to her face to send her stumbling backwards. With the champion dazed, Scarlett kicked her in the stomach and yanked her forward into her spinning lifting double underhook facebuster! The fans came to their feet as she rolled the champion over for the cover!
Kevin: It’s gonna be Lacey’s---NO, BAYOU BUSTER OUT OF NOWHERE!!
ONE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Kyle tried to dive into the ring to stop the count, but was a half second too late before the referee called for the bell. Scarlett heard her music start to play, and pounded the mat in exuberance. She got to her feet, and had her hand raised!
Emma: Raise your hand if you saw that Bayou Buster coming, and my hand is sure as hell staying down! It worked and we got a new champion!
John: Your winner of the match by pinfall……….AND NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWW SVW Champion………….SCARLETT KINCAID!!!
Rocca awarded Scarlett the title, which she clutched in both hands and looked down at with elation written all over her face. She thrust it into the air to a pop from the crowd.
Kevin: For the first time in several years, Scarlett Kincaid has reasserted herself as one of the best in the world as the NEW SVW Champion!!
Fireworks began to go off around the arena, including the ring posts as Scarlett hugged the title to her chest with a proud smile on her face.
Emma: “Reasserted”? She never had that idea removed of her, least as far as I knew! Regardless, new champion and a lot of the roster can breathe a sigh of relief now!
Kevin: Since March of last year, that title has been held by a who’s who of some of the most disliked wrestlers in all of SVW! But tonight, the sun is shining once again and the SVW title has been plucked from the darkness! Congratulations to Scarlett Kincaid, and that’s a Climax we won’t soon forget!
As Scarlett climbed the corner and raised her new title over her head with both hands. Fireworks continued to explode throughout the Moda Center as Climax faded to black.

A clip shows the Rampage main event during the finale where Ryan Sheffield attacked Paul James, preventing him from cashing in his Midas Touch contract. Then we see Christian announcing the match between them for tonight before the show returns to the live broadcast.
Kevin: The only match on tonight’s show without a title on the line, but this one is about giving a receipt if you’re the “Fat Cheetah.” And who knows? This might not be the only time we see the big man tonight. I’ve got Emma Mac here with me for this and the main event. Who do you like in this one?
Emma: Thank you for the invitation, Kevin. And honestly, I’d go with the Cheetah for this one, can’t help but feel that Ryan having gone so far out of his way to antagonise Paul recently is going to bite him in the butt.
As the song begins to play, the video wall comes to life showing a black and white montage of faceless wrestler getting ready in his locker room - pulling on a knee pad, adjusting an elbow pad, tying up a boot and starting to wrap his wrists.
Ladies and gentlemen please Would you bring your attention to me? For a feast for your eyes to see An explosion of catastrophe
As the first verse comes to an end, the camera watches a pair of boots go past and continue down a corridor; more and more of the occupant coming into focus and becoming an (intentionally) slightly out of focus silhouette as the second verse progresses.
Like nothing you've ever seen before Watch closely as I open this door Your jaws will be on the floor After this you'll be begging for more
The video wall faded to black on the last night and from the stage is a massive explosion; a ball of intense flame that gets accentuated to even greater proportions thanks to it continuing up the large screen… And from out of the middle of it - ran a slightly out of shape figure in a black jacket and wrestling tights; the entirety of his back and his hair seemingly on fire as the song continued. Before anyone could get a clear look at his face he dove to the floor and rolled off the staging area. A moment later, Ryan Sheffield popped up with not a hair out of place and climbed up onto the entrance ramp before he noticed the shoulder of his jacket was smouldering slightly and nonchalantly patted it to extinguish it.
He stood there for a couple of moments revelling in the boos from the crowd almost as though they were cheering him loudly. As he began to make his way slowly down to the ring, posing for the fans on both sides of the entrance ramp to take photos. Meanwhile four security guards rushed out from the back to make sure his fanatical, die hard fans stayed behind the security barricade as he passed them.
He headed towards the ring steps and used them to get to the apron when he climbed up the turnbuckle arms, throwing his hand in the air before he hopped over the top rope. Landing on his feet, he circled around the ring, pausing on each side of the squared circle to let the fans know they were welcome and should be thankful to be in the presence of a star. He finally returned to his corner and took off his jacket and t-shirt, handing them off a ringside attendant, warning to be careful as they cost more than he made in a month as his music faded out.
John: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure at this time to introduce to you, coming from Sheffield, England by way of Hollywood, California. He is 6’0” and 234lbs of Megastar. He is THE Working Class Hero, an A-List actor, a Future Oscar Winner and an SVW Hall of Famer. He is…. RYAN SHEFFIELD!!!!
Kevin: Ryan earned his way into the main event picture, but his biggest mistake is that when he went after Paul, he didn’t finish the job. And that’s what brings us here to Climax. I might have picked smaller people in this division to pick on personally.
Emma: Maybe not smaller, more less squashing power, but there’s also that he definitely picked the wrong person to pick on.
“Spit shine” by Xzibit starts to play out from the PA with thick bass and the monstrous black man shows up wearing all black, making his way down to the ring with heavy steps, rubbing his palms together, a hint of smirk across his face.
John: On his way to the ring standing 6’6 tall weighing 450 pounds The Fat Cheetah, Paul James!
Kevin: To quote a phrase I’ve heard many times, I think Ryan’s alligator mouth has written a check his canary ass can’t cash. Only in terms of experience does he have an advantage over Paul James. In every other metric? Paul dwarfs him.
Emma: Taller, heavier, faster, more agile...yeah, that about sums up everything that Paul has over Ryan. Not that it would ultimately determine who wins the match.
Referee Mickey McGuire called for the bell to start the match, and Paul immediately advanced on Ryan. But the movie star ducked through the ropes, telling McGuire to keep him away from him. The referee had no choice but to do so, and Paul stopped in the center of the ring and cracked his knuckles. Ryan glanced back at the big man, who told him “I’m gonna hurt you.” And upon seeing that, Ryan stepped out to the apron.
Kevin: I heard that! This may be the longest night of Ryan’s SVW career. I did a little checking, and since he arrived in 2014, you can count on one hand the number of times Paul James has been pinned. That’s incredible to me.
Emma: It’s insanity is what it is, and honestly it’s almost impossible for most people to pin him for obvious reasons. Very few people can reasonably lift over 400 pounds.
Ryan paced on the apron for a few seconds, and finally stepped back into the ring before offering Paul a handshake and telling him he hoped there were no hard feelings. No one in the arena was buying it though as Paul looked down to his hand, and smiled to him before taking it and shaking it. Ryan patted him on the arm, looking pleased….until he realized Paul hadn’t let go of his hand and started walloping him with left hands to the head with the other hand. Six straight lefts landed to Sheffield’s head before Paul jerked him forward into a falling side slam.. The big man rolled back to his feet, and dragged Ryan up with him to whip him with velocity into the far corner.
Kevin: No one in the Moda Center believed that apology from Ryan, least of all the Cheetah! And oh boy, this is not how Ryan wanted this to start!
Emma: Ryan has been rather disingenuous for years, so it’s not shocking that the apology was taken as seriously as any of his movie roles!
Ryan collided back first into the corner just before the Cheetah barreled towards him with a splash that encompassed his body from one camera angle. Paul whipped him across to the other side, only to hit another avalanche splash on Ryan before bell clapping his head. It caused the “megastar” to amble out of the corner off balance before Paul hit the ropes to mow him down with a massive clothesline. The fans were getting louder as the Cheetah dropped an elbow across his chest, but got up before the referee could get into position to make a count.
Kevin: He didn’t want the cover! McGuire was almost ready to make the count, but the big man wasn’t interested in that. He wants to do some damage, who can blame him?!
Emma: Not I, for one! I’d be all about the beating to a bloody mess if I was in Paul’s shoes, too!
Paul shook his head, and pulled Sheffield to his feet. He snatched him around the waist for a belly to belly suplex, and instead of getting up, Paul rolled over him in both directions from head to toe. He sat up with a smile on his face, and got back to his feet as Ryan was certainly the worse for wear. The Brit started to get to all fours before Paul bounced off the near side for a massive leg drop across the back of his head...and then slammed that leg into his head again and again.
Kevin: I don’t know what movie he may be in the midst of filming, but I think he’s gonna need a couple weeks after this match. The Cheetah is mauling him.
Emma: Couple weeks? Probably only gonna be a couple weeks for the swelling to fade slightly at the rate Paul’s going!
The Cheetah got back to his feet, looking down at Sheffield before Ryan rolled himself out of the ring to the floor. He collapsed ringside as the referee asked Paul to stay back while he counted. The Cheetah did that...at least long enough to go out through the ropes around the corner. He strolled around the corner as Ryan was getting up, grabbing his head from behind to deliver a headbutt into the base of his neck. It sent the movie star forward awkwardly before he turned back around to catch a yakuza kick from Paul that sent him backwards into the barricade.
Kevin: It’s bad enough to have to face the Cheetah in the ring, you damn sure don’t want to give him extra room on the floor. I appreciate the referee giving some latitude here, because no one wants to see a countout.
Emma: Given everything that's happened, it’s not shocking. Though I’ve never been a fan of the old countout, myself.
Paul yanked Ryan forward into a short arm clothesline, but didn’t let go of his hand. He pulled him up, and whipped him into the post. Ryan struck back first, and ambled forward as the Cheetah ran towards him. But the Brit surprised him with a drop toe hold that sent him head first into the post on the way down. Paul clutched his head as he lay on the floor, and Ryan rolled back into the ring, telling the referee to count him out.
Kevin: Some quick thinking by Sheffield with that drop toe hold. As you can tell, winning by countout doesn’t faze Ryan a bit. He just wants this over!
Emma: Ryan is fully aware that the best thing he can do is get the win and it doesn’t matter how he gets it. And honestly, given the evidence, no one can blame him!
McGuire started his count as Ryan clutched his ribs in the ring. When he got back to his feet, he spotted the big man getting up again at the six count. That caused Ryan to roll back out to the floor, and bounce his head off the apron. It sent Paul stumbling backwards before Ryan hopped onto the apron, and came off with a tornado DDT that spiked Paul’s head into the ringside mat. He darted back into the ring again, telling the referee to start counting once more.
Kevin: If you think about it, I’m not sure Ryan could get the Cheetah back in the ring if he wanted to. So this may be his best shot, because let’s face it. The Cheetah isn’t going anywhere he doesn’t want to go..
Emma: Yeah well, he probably wouldn’t want Ryan dragging him about even if he was a smaller man! It’s either letting Paul get into the ring or doing what he knows to do, and the latter isn’t always a bad thing.
The Cheetah started to get up again at the five count, and Ryan shook his head. He watched as the big man climbed onto the apron, and was stepping through the ropes when Sheffield kicked the bottom rope up between his legs. It caused Paul to fall back into the ring holding his groin when Ryan dove on top of him for the cover.
Kevin: Ryan used the ropes for a low blow right there, and he’s looking to end this!
ONE!!
TWOO!!
But Paul shoved him off the cover as the two hit the mat. Ryan quickly got to his feet as the big man was sitting up, and started raining clubbing blows to the back of his head to keep him down. They were working too, and the movie star took off for the far side to rebound with a running knee trembler to the side of Paul’s head as he was sat up. That put him down again.
Emma: It wasn’t as far away from a win as Paul would have liked, but he’s doing the only thing he can do right now, and who can blame him!
Sheffield used the middle turnbuckle when he jumped off to deliver a knee drop to Paul’s head. Starting to feel a bit more confident now, a smirk began to form on Ryan’s face as he saw Paul once again sitting up. And before he could get to his feet, Sheffield dropped down to deliver a sleeper hold. He leaned forward with it to make Paul carry his weight as McGuire moved around next to the Cheetah.
Kevin: Not a bad strategy here. Holding Paul down for a three count is extremely difficult, but Ryan can certainly put him to sleep though. That may be a lot easier of a proposition.
Emma: Definitely one of the few times where taking the time to wear someone down and make them tap is the easier option.
Ryan continued to lean into the hold as Paul reached out for the ropes. But his arm wasn’t long enough to find them, but his movements began to slow as the hold took greater effect. Sheffield took him down onto his side, still keeping the hold applied behind him. The referee checked with Paul as his eyelids seemed to be getting heavier. When his eyes closed, that’s when McGuire started lifting his arm. It dropped once before the fans got much louder in support of him. It dropped a second time. The third time, it almost hit the mat before it popped back up with a fist in the air. Ryan’s eyes widened as he tried to tighten his grip while Paul was slowly beginning to sit up.
Kevin: I think Paul’s feeding off this Portland crowd, they won’t let him succumb to the sleeper. Ryan may want to switch tactics here!
Emma: Maybe, but it can only work for so long, too. Sleepers will get you eventually if you can’t get out of it.
The Cheetah slowly rose to his feet with Ryan riding him piggyback, still with the sleeper tightly applied. James started to move towards the ropes, but Ryan’s determination to keep the hold applied was working as he stumbled and dropped to a knee. Ryan looked confident again...until Paul stood up a second time. The Cheetah lumbered a moment….then fell backwards to crush Ryan under him before the referee went for the cover!
Kevin: He went down like a giant oak tree….and Ryan was underneath him! Can you imagine what that feels like?! I think it’s over!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEE-NOO!!!
Ryan managed to push his body up enough to roll out from under the big man. He clutched his ribs as he sat on the canvas, while Paul wasn’t moving a great deal on the mat.
Emma: Amost, but not quite and frankly, it’s surprising that it isn’t over! I’d be like a Tom and Jerry cartoon where Tom gets slammed between the door and the wall if it was me!
He got back to his feet finally, and watched as Paul was slowly starting to come around. When the big man rolled to his stomach and began to move, Ryan hit the near side ropes and came back with a curb stomp before going for the cover!
Kevin; Sheffield stealing a move from a woman he refers to as the less attractive twin!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEE-NOO!!!
Paul got his shoulder up before the three, and Ryan slapped his hands together as he told McGuire to speed up his count.
Emma: And that didn’t work either! Paul’s making this incredibly difficult for Rya and I am loving it!
Ryan quickly got back to his feet, and resumed pounding away with clubbing shots to Paul’s back. He grabbed his head as he was trying to get up, looking for a bulldog. But Paul shoved him forward instead. Ryan stopped himself before he hit the rope, and turned around to see the Cheetah back on his feet and shaking his head. And the look on his face wasn’t a happy one. Sheffield blasted towards him with a running forearm to the chest, but Paul didn’t budge. A second bounce off the ropes with another forearm, and Paul didn’t move.
Kevin: The Cheetah has been revived, and look at this! It’s like running into a wall! What do you do, Ryan?
Emma: Hope to God the wall has some give to it? Pretty sure that’s all he can do at this point!
Ryan went for his leg to try to take him down, but Paul brought a forearm across his back as soon as he tried. A second one put Ryan on his knees before Paul scooped him up into a front carry. The big man charged across the ring with a running powerslam, crushing Ryan underneath him before he hooked the leg for the cover!
Kevin: That’s the biggest powerslam in SVW right there, and the Cheetah is three seconds from the bell!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WAIT!!
Ryan’s leg made it across the bottom rope before the three came down, and the referee spotted it in time. McGuire pointed it out to Paul as the big man got back to his feet, a grin starting to form on his face.
Emma: That had to be instinct. HAD to be. There was nothing else that it could have been!
Paul grabbed Ryan’s arm, and dragged him to the next corner. The Brit hadn’t moved a muscle to this point, and Paul started to ascend to climb. The ropes sagged deeply as Paul ascended to the middle and started bouncing up and down on them.
Kevin: Paul’s gonna jump off and crash all 450 pounds onto Ryan! There’ll be nothing left! Look at the ropes, they’re practically ready to snap!
Emma: I’m not a physics person, but I’m pretty sure this is gonna create all kinds of hell on Ryan if Paul nails this one.
The fans were much louder now as Paul was bouncing on the middle rope. Unfortunately for them at least, Ryan rolled out of the ring to the floor and Paul had to stop his momentum and climb back down to the canvas.
Kevin: That may have been the smartest decision Ryan’s made in his career right there! He got the hell out of there, but it could just be delaying the inevitable.
Emma: More than likely, but it was definitely the only call he could make at that moment.
Ryan stirred at ringside, and used the apron to get to his feet as the referee had gotten to a six count. He pulled himself onto the apron slowly before Paul took off for the far side, and came back with his running shoulder block that sent Sheffield flying and crashing into the barricade. The Brit collapsed onto the floor motionless as Paul cracked his knuckles in the ring.
Kevin: Sheffield was airborne, and the ringside barrier was the worst landing possible! He’s not moving!
Emma: Being truthful? Playing dead is probably the best thing Ryan can do right now.
The referee started his count again, keeping an eye on Ryan. When he got up to seven, there was still no movement and McGuire stepped out to the floor to check on him. Paul remained in the ring, collecting himself as the referee checked on his opponent...and then started calling for assistance. One of the trainers headed down to the ring, also checking on him and talking to him with no response. And that was when they called for a gurney.
Kevin: He’s still not moved a muscle since he landed, and we’ve got ourselves a situation here at Climax. You never want to see anyone get seriously injured in this business, like them or not.
Emma: ...Well this took a turn I did not expect it to take. And I don’t think anyone did.
The Cheetah remained in the ring watching as the trainer and the referee scooped Sheffield onto a stretcher. Ryan remained lifeless except for his chest rising and falling with his breathing, and they lifted the stretcher onto its legs and rolled him up the ramp towards the back through the curtain.
John: Due to the condition of Ryan Sheffield, the referee has called a stop to this match.
Paul discussed it with the referee as a cameraman was seen heading towards the back to follow the medics.
Kevin: These things happen sometimes, fans. The referee had no other choice but to stop the match if someone can’t continue. And it was clear to us that Ryan was out cold. We got a camera that’s gonna follow this to the ambulance.
The show switched to backstage after a few seconds, and found the stretcher….was empty. The concern from the crowd went to boos as Ryan Sheffield had his bag over his shoulder, and was heading for the exit.
Kevin: Oh son of a bitch….
The camera chased after him as he went through the doors into a waiting car, taking off into the night. Paul looked pretty furious himself as he climbed out of the ring, and started storming towards the back.
Emma: I wanna say this surprises me, but I don’t know if I’d be lying about it or not. Mostly ‘cause that’s just like Ryan to do. He knew he wasn’t gonna win the match.
Kevin: Sheffield gave an Emmy performance there, and wherever he’s going...he better keep driving because I wouldn’t want to be him when the Cheetah catches up with him.
As Paul disappeared through the curtain with a very unhappy expression on his face, the show went to a video package detailing the history between Scarlett Kincaid and Lacey over the SVW Championship.

John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish and it is for the SVW DEFIANCE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
Vee: You know how much I want to see Vivi get the hell beat out of her? I mean, it’s hard to put into words how much because the word doesn’t exist.
Kevin: Aren’t you putting the cart before the horse here? What makes you think Vivi won’t be doing the beating?
I’m not the one who’s so far away when I feel the snakebite enter my veins Never did I wanna be here again and I don’t remember why I came…
The drumbeat to Godsmack’s “Voodoo” hits and the entrance ramp is bathed in purple light and fog. The top of the ramp fills with smoke, and tall candelabras rise up through the floor, flickering in the light. The lights of thousands of cell phone dot the arena like fireflies, adding to the ambience.
Candles raise my desire, why I’m so far away No more meaning to my life, no more reason to stay
Vivi Traeger stands perfectly still as she rises up through the floor, a crown of bones and purple roses resting on her head. Around her neck is her black ball python LaCroix, his scales glimmering.
Freezing feeling, breathe in, breathe in… I’m coming back again…
Reaching the ring, Vivi hands LaCroix off to the ring crew and ascends the stairs, climbing up on one of the turnbuckles. She bends down and then rises up again, throwing her arms out to the sides.
John: From New Orleans, Louisiana, she is the Voodoo Queen, the All-Mother, Vivi Traeger!
Basking in the adoration of the crowd, Vivi jumps down from the turnbuckle and sets her crown aside, ready to face her opponent.
Kevin: Vivi Traeger made a bold prediction on Twitter earlier this year when she said she was going to be holding gold before the end of it. Will that claim bear fruit tonight?
Vee: Absolutely not. Vivi has no chance in this match. She’s outsized in every way imaginable. This is gonna be a beating she never forgets, and I’m here for it.
The driving beats of “Ten Ton Skeleton” by Royal Blood begins to play before the arena darkens. A row of spotlights form one by one on the stage as the “Alpha” steps out onto the stage wearing a long leather coat with the SVW Defiance Championship hanging over one shoulder. He’s followed out by Angela Jameson, who gives a crowd a scowl as they boo her boyfriend. The pair head towards the ring with each spotlight disappearing behind him as he walks past it. As the pair arrive at the ring, he pulls the ropes apart for Angela to step into the ring before stepping over the top rope to join her. The single spotlight appears in the center of the ring as he stops with both arms crossed in front of his chest, while Angela looks up to him with a confident smile on her face.
John: Hailing from Manchester England and accompanied to the ring by Angela Jamesoni at 6’8 and 288 pounds, this is the REIGNING AND DEFENDING SVW DEFIANCE CHAMPION….’THE ALPHA’ ERIC CROSS!
Vee: Look at this man! How do you bet against him? He’s beaten opponents twice her size, if not more. What does this bimbette have that the others didn’t?
Kevin: Still bitter about her taking the Adrenaline title from Kristina, aren’t you? I’m not saying Cross isn’t an impressive man, no question. He’s just a miserable SOB who doesn’t seem to think very highly of most women.
Billy Phelps was the referee in charge of the contest and moved towards Eric, asking him for the Defiance Championship and for the taller man to return to his corner ready for the match to begin. The Mancunian stared at the official for a moment before he raised the title high over his head, glaring at the challenger before he lowered the belt, shoving it into Phelps’ chest, pushing the man backwards as he did; his eyes boring into Traeger. The referee clasped hold of the belt and took it towards Vivi, presenting it towards her; the New Orleans native not even looking at it as she returned the Champion’s stare. Phelps raised it to show the crowd and then handed it off to John at ringside and called for the bell.
Vee: What’s wrong with not thinking highly of most women? Neither do I. The only ones who matter are the ones I represent, the rest are sketchy.
Kevin: Yeah, and I’m sure they hold you up as a shining example of what a woman should be too. Looks like we’re about to get underway here, Vivi has her game face on.
The moment it started to ring, Vivi charged across the ring like she was shot out of a cannon and caught Cross as he came out of the corner with a low dropkick to his kneecap that took his leg out from under him, sending him to one knee. Immediately he started to get up only for Vivi to fire off a volley of four swift, stiff kicks to the back of his thigh and knee as he rose before she was pie faced backwards to the mat by the big man. Traeger used the momentum to roll back up to her feet and again took off towards her foe, baseball sliding between his legs, rolling onto her front as she did so and as soon as she was past him she dug in her feet and launched herself back the way she came to drive a shoulder into the back of his knee, sending the Defiance Champion stumbling forwards a step or two.
Kevin: Vivi’s best asset here is going to be her speed, because that’s one area where the champion isn’t going to be able to match her.
Vee: No. Vivi’s best asset is her legs, so she can walk herself back up the ramp and apologize she ever got into this match.
He found his balance and turned towards the challenger where she caught him with a bicycle kick to his chest, following it up with a drop toe hold that sent him straight to the canvas. Quickly the New Orleans born wrestler transitioned through, grabbing hold of her opponent by the ankles and went to lock in a Boston crab. Quickly she hunkered down over his lower back as she pulled back on his legs. The official slid into position and asked the Alpha if we wanted to submit in the hold which got him a withering look from the defending Champion as Cross planted his fists and began to push up from the canvas, using his power to break the hold, straightening out his legs and sending Vivi falling forwards as she tried to keep the hold applied. The Louisiana native caught hold of the ropes to stop herself and glanced over her shoulder as Cross came to his feet before she hopped onto the middle rope and launched herself backwards into a disaster kick to the underside of his jaw, knocking the big Mancunian backwards a couple of steps as Vivi landed on her feet.
Kevin: That just shows you how stout this man is. Anyone else got caught with that kick by Vivi, and they’d be on the mat by now.
Vee: I’m not so sure of that. I’m pretty sure either Michelle or Kristina could take it without even so much as blinking.
Immediately Traeger started to fire off a series of kicks into his right knee and thigh once more. Eric found his balance and reached down for his leg before he tried to catch hold of the leg of the Louisiana native which saw the challenger knock him off balance once more with a picture perfect standing dropkick. Again the Defiance Champion found his balance quickly but found himself sent down to his knees as Vivi darted towards the ropes and launched herself at the back of his right knee with a chop block. Once more the challenger came to her feet quickly and before Eric could get further than one knee, she caught him with a rideghand chop to the throat that left the Englishman gasping for air. As he tried to catch his breath Vivi headed towards the ropes once more, bouncing off them and came hurtling back towards the Champion to catch him with a jumping DDT, driving him down into the mat on the top of his head. She threw herself on top of him and reached to hook his leg.
Kvin: Cross got planted, and Vivi’s already looking for the gold!
One…
Two--
Vee: Tell her to keep looking then. No way she was going to get him this early. Or ever.
The moment the two landed Eric kicked out with authority and immediately started to rise but only made it as far as one knee before Traeger caught him with a superkick to the side of his head. The blow saw him come unsteadily up to his feet and stumble towards the ring ropes as Vivi came off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and caught him with a shotgun dropkick to his chest before he could catch his balance and sent him falling through the ropes, hitting the apron as he fell to the floor. The Alpha was only down for a moment before he started to rise, Angela heading towards him as he did so only to suddenly back off as Vivi came flying through the ropes with a suicide dive that sent the Defiance Champion backwards into the crowd barricade as the challenger landed on her feet. The Louisiana native didn’t give him any chance at all to recover as she quickly began to unload a series of stiff kicks into his chest, driving him back down towards a sitting position. She didn’t manage to drive all the way to a sitting position before he began to use the barricade to push himself back up to his feet which saw Vivi slide back into the ring. The challenger popped up to her feet and grabbed hold of the top rope, using it as a slingshot to fire herself over the top and into a crossbody block…
Kevin: Viv’s gonna fly and--
Vee: Get caught like a small child! Ahahahaha!
...which saw Cross catch her across his chest, taking a step back as he did so before he dropped her chest first across the top of the crowd barricade. Vivi landed on her knees, holding her chest and started to rise to her feet only for Cross to wrap his arms around her waist, jerking her upwards and hurling her backwards to send her spine first into the ring apron. Traeger landed on her feet this time and immediately reached for the small of her back which saw the Alpha lower his shoulder and drive her spine first into the ring apron again. He delivered four more shoulder thrusts, slamming her back into the ring surround as he did so before he pulled her away, straightening up and slamming her down into the floor with an STO. He rolled into the ring and straight back out to restart the referee’s count and bent down to pull Vivi up from the floor, lifting her up above his head before he sent her through the ropes and back into the ring.
Vee: That’s what happens when you try that flippy crap against someone like Cross. You pay for it in a big way.
Kevin: She definitely should have saved that for later, if what’s happened is anything to go by.
He slid under the ropes to join her in the ring and once more pulled her up to her feet where he backed her up to the ropes with a series of four European uppercuts that snapped her head backwards with each blow. A fifth saw her lean back against the ropes before he shot her off across the ring and caught her on her return with a big boot to the face that saw her immediately collapse to the canvas where she immediately rolled over and pushed up onto her hands and knees. A second later she was driven back into mat face first thanks to an elbow drop to the small of her back. Eric quickly following that up by taking the mount position on her back and used two handfuls of hair to scrub her face back and forth against the canvas. The referee demanded the release and started the count, getting to four before Cross released his hold on her hair and lunged forwards to slam a forearm into the back of her skull before he rolled away and started to come to his feet.
Vee: I do enjoy watching Vee get hit in the head, but there’s not a lot up there to damage. But by all means, carry on, champ.
Kevin: You may not know this, but Vivi was trained by another big man before she got into this sport. So I doubt Cross is going to intimidate her.
The crowd booed him as he waved the challenger upwards. As soon as Traeger was almost back vertical he dropped back to the ropes, firing himself off them and charged towards her, looking to catch her with a clothesline. He got nothing but air though as the Voodoo queen ducked beneath the attempt, grabbing his arm on the way past and kicked up her legs to trap his other arm in a crucifix attempt, looking to jerk him downwards. Cross through stood his ground, adjusting his grip on the woman before he fell backwards to slam her down with a Samoan drop. Vivi rolled away once more, holding her back and pushed up onto all fours. As she did so, Cross skipped forwards and fired off a penalty kick into her rib cage that lifted her up into the air a half inch or so. He delivered a second kick to her body before he grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked her back to her feet and delivered a forearm smash to the side of the head. It saw her take an unsteady step backwards before the Alpha grabbed her by the wrist and jerked her into a series of four viciously raised knees into her midsection that dropped her down to her knees.
Vee: He doesn’t have to intimidate her, Kevin. All he has to do is beat her like she stole something. And if you haven’t noticed, that’s precisely what he’s doing right now.
Kevin: Cross is certainly in control, and even the most basic of moves like those knee strikes of his are multiplied with all the power he has in his body.
He shook his head as he took a moment to measure her up and while she was still on her knees fired off an open handed slap to her jaw that saw her rise to one knee. A second open handed slap followed and then a third as Vivi got to her feet, snapping her head to one side and causing her to take a half step backwards. The Alpha rubbed his palm for a moment before he hushed the crowd with one finger to his lips, rearing back with one hand and went to deliver another slap only for Vivi to raise one arm to block the shot while simultaneously catching his arm just below the elbow with a palm strike to send it back the way it came. As soon as she did so she started to fire off a series of palm strikes using both hands, driving the blows into his rib cage and the moment he covered up she changed up her point of attack as she snapped off a series of stiff kicks into his right knee and thigh. Once more the Alpha tried to cover up, reaching down towards his knee which saw Vivi turn on her heel and take off towards the ring ropes, using them to springboard off, twisting in mid air as she looked to land a meteora on the big man only for the Defiance Champion to side step it at the last moment.
Kevin: Vivi was looking for some big impact, but nobody was home for that meteora!
Vee: I hope it broke both of her knees too.
Vivi landed on her feet and stumbled forwards only for Eric to grab hold of her wrist, pulling it across her chest before he used to jerk her around and dropped her with a ripcord elbow strike. Again Vivi rolled away and Eric once more pulled her upwards to her feet, pushing her back into the ropes, telling her that she didn’t stand a chance of beating him before he fired her across the ring. As the New Orleans native bounced off the ropes, the Alpha took off to meet her, crashing a Polish hammer into her chest which saw her drop to the mat. The challenger took a couple of moments before she sat up and when she did, Cross met her with a kick to her chest, laying her back down on the mat before he followed up with a leg drop, keeping his leg over her chest as he demanded the referee make the count.
Vee: That’s the kind of cover Vivi deserves. It’s probably over already.
One…
Tw-
Kevin: It’s a shame you didn’t have any money on that prediction.
Traeger kicked out with ease, causing the Alpha to smirk as he again pulled her up to her feet and sent her down to the mat again with a bodyslam. Immediately he pulled her back up and into a second bodyslam and then pulled her up again, scooping her off her feet and this time carried her towards the ring ropes, mouthing off at the fans as he did so before he hurled her across the ring with a fallaway slam. The Voodoo Queen rolled almost clear across the ring before she came to a halt and once again started to pull herself to her feet, Cross pacing back and forth as she did so, leaning forward slightly to massage his right thigh and knee as he did so. When Vivi was almost back to her feet, Eric charged towards her and dropped her to the canvas with a bicycle knee strike to her jaw, sending her down to the mat once more. This time, he planted his boot on her chest and told the referee to count yet again. Phelps reluctantly got into position to make the count.
Kevin: He doesn’t have to tell the referee what to do, Phelps knows his job.
One…
Tw--
Vee: With the shoddy officiating SVW has, you absolutely have to tell them. Plus referees are subhuman anyway.
This time Vivi didn’t get the chance to kick out as the Defiance Champion shook his head and stepped over her, placing all of his weight on her chest as he did, while shouting to the crowd that she wasn’t done yet - that he knew the Voodoo Queen still had some fight left in her yet. Somewhere. He grinned as he turned back towards her, pulling her up from the canvas and into a standing headscissors before flipping her up onto his shoulders in position for the powerbomb. He took off towards the opposite corner, hoisting her upwards off his shoulders as he did so just as Traeger came alive, firing off machine gun like right hands into the top of his skull before she raked her nails over his eyes and then snapped off a headscissors takedown that sent him crashing face first into the middle turnbuckle.
Vee: Now are you going to call out Vivi for raking his eyes with her nails? Because that tells me she can’t win without cheating.
Kevin: I’ve seen your girls do that a thousand times. Are you saying they can’t win without doing it too?
The New Orleans native held her body as she came to her feet quickly and lunged towards the Champion catching him with a dropkick to his shoulder blades that sent him chest first into the top turnbuckle as he pulled himself to his feet. Again Traeger brought herself quickly to her feet and drove a pair of palm strikes into his kidney region before she left her feet and jerked him backwards into a backstabber. The Alpha rolled off her knees to the mat as Vivi rolled in the opposite direction to grab hold of the bottom rope where she started to pull herself upright and used them to fire herself forwards and catch the rising Defiance Champion with a big boot to the side of his face as he got to one knee. Still he pushed his way up the rest of the way to his feet only for Traeger to step up onto his thigh and launch herself into the air to catch him with an enzuigiri to the side of his head. He staggered to the side and as he caught his balance Vivi grabbed hold of his head and dropped to her knees for a jawbreaker that once more sent him backwards into the ring ropes.
Kevin: Cross is rocking and reeling here, and the ropes are the only thing holding him up right now.
Vee: Nah, he’d be fine if they weren’t there. Don’t short sell your Defiance Champion.
Cross stumbled forwards away the ring ropes and Vivi once more used them to her advantage as she came off the middle rope with a springboard bulldog that spiked his head, face first into the ring mat. Immediately the Mancunian bounced upwards and came to his hands and knees, holding his face for a moment before he started to rise back to his feet once more. He didn’t manage to make it all the way up before he was again sent down to the canvas face first thanks to an axe kick to the back of his neck. Again the Alpha started to push back up to his feet as Vivi stepped out onto the apron, heading towards the corner where she climbed to the top as Cross pulled himself back to his feet and turned towards the corner, Vivi launched herself off the top rope and flipped over the big man, taking him down to the canvas once more with a blockbuster. Immediately the challenger grabbed hold of his legs as she looked to stack him up to make the cover.
Kevin: Big time blockbuster, and Vivi’s 3 seconds from the gold!
One…
Two…
Vee: She’s a lot more seconds than that actually.
The Alpha kicked out with authority once more and went to rise to his feet only for Vivi to grab hold of the back of his head and jerk him downwards into a single knee to the bridge of his nose. Cross stumbled away and as he did so, the Voodoo Queen grabbed hold of his wrist, raised her boot and fell backwards to the canvas, jerking him into an inverted stomp facebreaker. It sent the defending Defiance Champion back into the ropes before he came off them and Vivi pulled him downwards and into a small package pinning combination.
Vee: That’s not a small package, that’s a huge package for her!
One…
Two…
…
Kevin: It’s hard to hold a man that massive down long enough for a three when you’re not even close to his size.
Again the Mancunian wrestler kicked out just after the two count was completed and started to come to his feet quickly. Again he made it to one knee before Traeger crashed a running knee lift into his jaw. Once more Cross went to get to his feet and the New Orleans native used the ropes to leap onto his shoulders where she went to throw her weight forwards into a victory roll only to find the attempt blocked. Vivi straightened up to sit on his shoulders again and started to fire elbow shots down into the top of his head, landing two before Eric reached up and grabbed hold of her arm as the third connected. He jerked her forwards, flipping her off his shoulders and caused her to crash down onto the canvas back first. Vivi pressed a hand to her lower back as she scrambled back to her feet and as she did so, Cross charged at her with a clothesline that flipped her upside down and saw her crash down face first on the mat. Cross turned with a look of anger on his face as he immediately stepped towards and delivered a vicious stomp square to the middle of her spine as she was trying to come to all fours, driving her back to the mat. Quickly he dropped down and pulled her up into a camel clutch, interlocking his fingers under her jaw as he did so.
Vee: If he keeps this on long enough, Vivi might be a couple inches taller after this match. Or at least have the body curvature of a shrimp.
Kevin: This also gives Cross a little time to plot his next move or three. He doesn’t strike me as someone who does a lot of planning before a match.
The referee dropped down and asked the New Orleans native if she wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ from her even though she was grimacing in pain. The Defiance Champion shook his head as he pulled her head back further before he released one hand from under her jaw and started to deliver clubbing blows into her chest that, landing four before he interlocked his fingers once more, pulling back on her head once more. Again Phelps asked the question, getting another ‘No’ from Vivi which again saw Cross change his grip up once more, this time hooking her nostrils with his fingers to keep her head pulled back as he again clubbed forearms into her chest while the referee called for the break and started the count, he got to four before the Alpha went back to interlocking his fingers underneath her chin, leaning back further as he did so and told the referee to ask her. The official glared at the Defiance Champion but did as requested, getting another pained refusal from the challenger. The look of anger on Eric’s face deepened and as he did so, he hooked his fingers into the sides of her mouth, fish hooking her and pulling back on the sides of her lips as he leaned back to apply further pressure on her spine. Phelps called for the break and started the count and got it at four and 7/8ths; Cross grabbing hold of her hair as he broke and pulled her up to her feet as he stood up.
Vee: I enjoyed watching him pull her face apart. It made her a little more attractive, if you’re into big mouths.
Kevin: I’ve never been into them, but I certainly have my fair share of working with them.
When they were both vertical he drove a trio of knees into her stomach before he sent her into the ropes and on her return he sent her high up into the air with a back body drop before she again crash landed on her back on the canvas. She sat up and Eric skipped towards her, planting his standing foot as he drove a hard kick into her spine. It saw her roll away from him only for Cross to pull her back up to her feet, lifting her onto his shoulder before using a running powerslam to drive her down into the mat, spine first yet again. He made a lazy cover, laying across her chest as he did so.
Vee: There we go, so what’s next on the card?
One…
Two…
…
Kevin: We’ll worry about that when it’s time for it. He’s not going to keep Vivi down like this.
Vivi rolled her shoulder to break up the count and the powerhouse nodded with an evil smirk on his face as he pulled his foe up to her feet and used all his strength to Irish whip her into the nearest corner, dropping to one knee as he did so. The Voodoo Queen hit the turnbuckle pads hard and gingerly stepped forwards out of the corner and straight into the Alpha’s grip; the Defiance Champion wrapping both hands around her throat as he lifted her up high into the air and then slammed her straight back into the canvas with a rydeen bomb that saw Vivi arch her spine upwards from the mat as a look of pain shot across her face before she rolled to the side. Again Cross pulled her up to her feet and as he did so, he hoisted her into the air once more, bench pressing her above his head as he paraded around the ring; the crowd booing him loudly before he dumped her over the top rope and sent her down to the floor in the entranceway where she landed back first once more. Again her spine arched upwards before she rolled to the side.
Kevin: See, this isn’t smart. He’s not going to make her submit or pin her out there.
Vee: Who said that was his plan? I think he may just be interested in putting her on the shelf. So am I, for that matter.
With a grin on his face the Defiance Champion played to the crowd once more, his grin only getting bigger as they booed him louder still before he stepped over the top rope and onto the apron, measuring up his opponent as she started to get to her feet. He ignored the official, demanding that he get back in the ring and instead leapt from the apron to deliver a double axe handle smash to the top of her head, sending her back down to her knees. Immediately Eric stepped backwards and fired off a trio of kicks into her lower back before he once more pulled her upright, lifting her up onto his shoulder before he snapped her forwards into the steel of the entrance ramp with an Alabama Slam as Phelps was slow counting the ten in the ring and leaning through the ropes, telling Cross to bring the contest back into the ring.
Vee: I wouldn’t mind if Cross just snatched this idiot referee by the neck, and drove him head first into the floor.
Kevin: That would be even stupider than dumping Vivi onto the floor when he can’t win the match out there.
Eric nodded his head as he pulled his opponent back up to her feet and straight into an Irish whip that saw her once more strike the ring apron spine first. Again she gingerly stepped forwards, holding her back as she did so and found herself lifted her up onto his shoulders once more as if in position for an Argentine rack backbreaker, bouncing her up and down on his shoulders for a couple of moments before he hurled her forwards over his head so that she crashed into the apron back first. He shoved her back into the ring under the bottom rope before he pulled himself up onto the apron and stepped over the top rope as she rolled towards the middle of the ring, holding her spine with one hand and slowly started to push upwards only for Cross to once more bring her up to her feet, lifting her onto his shoulders once more before slamming her down into the canvas yet again - this time with a Death Valley Driver. Again, Eric made the cover, pressing the palms of his hands down on top of the shoulders of the challenger.
Kevin: Cross may be seconds from ending the year still the Defiance Champion!
One…
Two…
...THR--
Vee: Unfortunately not, but that just means he gets to beat the crap out of her more. I’m alright with that plan.
The Voodoo Queen kicked out before the three count could be completed and Cross shook his head, glaring at the referee as he slapped his hands together three times but the official again showed him the two count. He shook his head and started to bring Vivi back up from the canvas and this time lifted her off her feet and into a bear hug. A look of hatred on his face as he tightened up his grip as much as possible, placing all the pressure he could on her spine while trying to squeeze the life out of her. The referee moved to ask her if she wanted to quit and got a ‘No’ from the New Orleans native which saw Cross start to shake her back and forth. As he came to a halt, the referee asked the Voodoo Queen once more, getting another refusal to submit in the hold as she started to push up and away from the big man to start firing off right hands into his head. She only managed to land two before he used his grip around her body to drive her down into the canvas with a belly to belly slam. Once more he made the cover, reaching down to hook the leg lazily as he did so.
Vee: Count faster, referee! He’s beaten her like 8 times already!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Kevin: He’s getting closer to it, I’ll give him that. But Vivi has enormous resilience, and we’re seeing it here.
Vivi’s shoulder came up in the nick of the time before dropping back to the mat and again the Alpha stared a hole through the referee. Phelps confirmed the two count once more to the defending Champion who shook his head at the man, telling him what was going to happen to Vivi was on him as he landed a straight right hand to Traeger’s jaw as she sat up, causing her to collapse back down to the mat and from side mount he began to fire elbows into the side of her head. The official called for the break, telling the Defiance Champion to allow the challenger up from the canvas as he started the count. He reached four before Cross started to come to his feet, pulling the Voodoo Queen up with him and quickly lifted her up, slinging her over her shoulder before he dropped her on the top of her head with an over the shoulder back to belly piledriver. Once more he made the cover, hooking the leg as he did so.
Vee: That’s one of his signature moves!!
One....
Two…
THREE!!!
The referee called for the bell as Cross sat up, taking in deep breaths as he looked over to Angela with a smirk on his face.
Kevin: Cross drove Vivi into the mat with one of his favorite moves, and the big man is leaving Portland with his title!
John: Your winner by pinfall…….AND STILL SVW Defiance Champion…….’THE ALPHA’ ERIC CROSS!!!
He got back to his feet as Angela joined him in the ring. She snatched his title from the referee, and handed it to him herself. The Portland crowd was not happy as they booed both him and his girlfriend.
Vee: Vivi got what she deserved, and now maybe she’ll keep her nose out of other people’s business. Our Defiance Champion is still the “Alpha” of this company!
He stepped out to the floor, and Angela joined him to raise his hand with the Defiance title overhead. The boos only got louder as the big man headed for the ramp, and the show cut to a commercial for Turmoil early in 2022.
Causing TurmoilThe show goes to the back, and finds Ben standing alongside the network troubleshooter as he’s playing with his pop gun, shooting the plastic stopper off and letting it hang at his side with the string. Ben: I’m here with SVW’s network troubleshooter, Christian Kincaid, and I understand you have some news to share with us. Christian: You’re absolutely right, Ben. I know we’re not even finished with Climax yet, but I wanted to announce something for our next major event in early 2022. I’m referring to Turmoil, and I’ve already got the main event in mind. Ben: You don’t let the grass grow under your feet, do you? What’d you have in mind? Christian: Even though Scarlett’s about to meet Lacey in just a little bit for the SVW Championship, all she’s wanted the last few months is the Gold Standard. And at Turmoil, I’m going to give her that. Ben looked a little surprised by that. Ben: You’re gonna put her up against the entire Gold Standard just like she had last year at the same event? Christian: Close. She’s not going to face them all on her own. I’m going to let her have them, and she can pick her partners for that match. It’ll be Lacey, Elizabeth Lannister, “Sensational” Stacey Sky, and Valerie McKinley and Cait Flanagan. I already got the okay from FFW and Future Shock. Ben: What about Ashley? Christian: Ashley wasn’t a member of the group when this started, and she’s still Aggression Champion. So she’s going to be defending her title that night. In any event, Scarlett will be able to pick anyone she wants for her four teammates in this 10 person tag team main event at Turmoil. Ben: That sounds fair to me, and I’m sure she can find four panthers who are equally, if not more, aggrieved by the Gold Standard. Christian: I’m positive of that. I can even throw out a few names if she wants a few extra suggestions. But it’s her choice, pick any four partners she wants. Ben: Any other news for Turmoil? Christian: Absolutely. You just saw Cross retain the Defiance Championship, and his next contender was already named at Aggression. At Turmoil, he’ll defend against River Campbell one on one. Those two like throwing hands, so I’m looking forward to a slugfest for the Defiance Championship. Ben: Two big matches already announced for Turmoil in February, fans. Let’s send it back to the ring for the next match.

The show cut back to the arena as the camera panned around the expectant crowd before settling on John stood in the middle of the ring, looking dashing and debonair in his suit, as he raised the microphone to his lips.
Kevin: It’s our second of four title matches tonight, and as you can see the World’s Most Dapper Ring Announcer is ready to go.
Vee: Who gave him that title?
John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish. It is a tag team match and it is for the SVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!
The video screen blacks out as the lights go dark and “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin starts to play. Two spotlights start chasing each other around the arena until one falls on the figure of Monty Margolis, coming out of the concession area. Monty slides down the handrails toward the ring while on the other side of the arena, the spotlight finds Gwen bouncing in place at the top of the stairs right before she takes off running down the stairs.
The pair hop over the barricade simultaneously and meet for a fist bump before hitting the ring - Gwen pulling herself up onto the apron and saluting the crowd before ducking between the ropes, while Monty climbs the ring steps and holds his pirate flag high before joining his niece.
John: Introduc --
Gwen grabs the microphone from John with a mischievous wink and waves him off to the corner.
Gwen: Introducing from Austin, Texas by way of here, there, and everywhere, we are the dream warriors, we are the post-apocalyptic pirates, we are the time-travelin’, dazzlin’, ramblin’ protectors of the world as we know it, the Illuminati PROJEKT!
She hands the microphone back to John and joins her uncle in the corner, both of them watching warily for what will happen next.
Kevin: The Illuminati Projekt won their opportunity at the titles several weeks ago, and have waited patiently to get their shot. Tonight is the night.
Vee: That’s because they’re suckers, Kevin. If they had a good manager, they’d demanded their shot a long time ago. But they’re doormat, so what do you expect?
The arena falls dark as the opening of “Blonde, Bad and Beautiful” by Airbourne plays, Kelly explodes upward out of the middle of the stage as though shot out of a cannon, landing a perfect front somersault in a shower of blue sparks. As she lands she holds her title belt high over her head. The girl is joined by Christian Kincaid on the stage. Turning to face her husband, she turns to face him, giving him a big hug as she plants a kiss to his lips. As the music starts to pick up pace once more she starts to run toward the ring, performing a quick cartwheel into a handspring before sliding into the ring underneath the bottom rope. Using the momentum to her advantage, the former acrobat forward rolls to her feet and leaps onto the middle rope. She springboards off the ropes into a backflip and heads towards the corner. The former acrobat runs straight up the pads. Stopping on the top turnbuckle she blows a kiss to the fans, holds her title belt high in the air and then corkscrew flips back to the mat, facing the middle of the ring as she lands.
John: From Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, 5’5” tall, weighs 120 lbs and is accompanied to the ring by Christian Kincaid. She is one half of the SVW Tag Team Champions ...Please welcome...KELLY KINCAID!!!
Vee: I don’t think anyone ever foresaw someone like Kelly or her partner becoming tag champions, Kevin. If ever there were two self-absorbed divas in wrestling….
Kevin: Hello, kettle. This is pot calling.
The lights in the arena go off before a single purple spotlight hits the stage. As the opening bars of Wild Side by Cross My Heart Hope To Die starts to play Missy appears at the entrance way. Missy stands perfectly still, as her head stays bent, looking towards the ground and her manager Christian Kincaid walks out to stand behind her.
I've been on my best behavior But I've heard that good girls finish last And once you're gone they say no one can save you But who knows if I go I may never want to ever come back We've all fell victim to temptation It seems that I'm the last one holding on What's the use in fighting for my salvation And why does it feel so damn right to want to be so wrong
At the side of Missy purple lights flash on and off, looking almost like fireworks, as she remains perfectly still. As the lights subside, Missy raises her title high up to the air and a single white spotlight accompanies the move.
I just wanna dance with the devil tonight I wanna know what it feels like I wanna close my eyes, put my hands in the sky I wanna walk on the wild side
John: Introducing at this time…. Hailing from Leeds, England, she is one half of the SVW Tag Team Champions … she is MIIIIISSSSSY!
Missy makes her way down the ramp to the ring keeping her eyes straight ahead, focussing on the ring, with Christian following a few steps behind. When she reaches the ring she slowly climbs the steel steps, surveying the crowd as she does until she reaches the top. She steps onto the apron and gives one final look around before she enters the ring between the top and middle rope. She raises the title in the air again, before leaning over the top rope to share a few last minute words with her manager as her theme music ends.
Kevin: These two women are just 2 days removed from having faced each other, and here they are tonight working together. The only point I’ll agree with you on is I don’t think anyone expected them to be tag champions….and that would include them till they had the chance.
Vee: Missy’s almost as bad as Kelly. I don’t know how their husbands put up with them, I bet they are both pretty henpecked and get pulled around by the nose.
Kevin: I don’t have a window into their marital lives, but I doubt it’s the way you say.
Philip Rivers was the official in charge, taking the title belts from Missy and Kelly to show to both members of the Illuminati PROJEKT before raising them over his head to the crowd and finally handed them off to John as he left the ring. Rivers checked both teams were ready, telling them to determine who was starting and as Monty and Missy left the ring he called for the bell. Kelly and Gwen came out of their corners and circled each other for a moment before Kincaid suddenly exploded forwards and caught her foe with a high knee to the chest, following it with a pair of quickly thrown kicks into her thigh before yanking the challenger forwards by the wrist and into a small package pinfall.
Vee: This may be the fastest tag title defense ever...good!
One…
Two…
Kevin: It wasn’t meant to be right there. I give them high marks for trying though.
Gwen kicked out and the pair came back to their feet only for Kelly to once more charge her foe, grabbing hold of her arm as she kipped up and trapped her other arm between her legs, pulling her down into a crucifix pinning combination.
Kevin: Kelly’s going for it all again!
One…
Two…
Vee: To be fair, it’s Gwen and Monty. You have to set low expectations.
Again Margolis kicked out and was quickly back to her feet, immediately bringing her hands up to project her jaw and take some of the force out of a superkick from the New Yorker. Still Gwen took a step backwards and it gave Kelly enough of an opening for her to Irish whip the Illuminati PROJEKT member across the ring and into the Champion’s corner. Kelly was following in close behind her and a moment after her opponent hit the turnbuckle pad, the former acrobat connected with a corner clothesline that she immediately followed up by spinning around into a back elbow to the side of the head. Kincaid followed it up with three more before she stepped out of the corner and made the tag to Missy. As the referee signalled the tag the tag Champions both left their feet - Kelly in the ring, Missy on the apron - and caught Gwen with a stereo enzuigiri to both sides of her head.
Kevin: That was some concussive force from both halves of the tag champions right there.
Vee: Not much going on in Gwen’s head, so I’m not sure it did much damage.
The Texan staggered out of the corner and found herself sent down to the mat with a fireman’s carry takedown as Missy climbed to the top rope. Kelly rolled out of the ring as the Leeds born wrestler launched herself off into a senton that saw her crash down across Margolis’ chest before she leaned back and hooked the leg to make the cover.
Kevin: Now Missy’s looking to hear the bell in what would be a very fast tag title defense!
One…
Two…
Vee: The quicker it’s over, the better. I don’t care about either of these teams.
Yet again it only netted a two count before Gwen kicked out and Missy rolled away and came to her feet, taking off towards the ring as Gwen began to rise only for the Leeds born competitor to take her down to the canvas immediately with a running neckbreaker. The challenger rolled onto her side, holding her neck which saw the legal half of the defending champions skip forwards and drive a stiff kick into her foe’s back, following it up with a second before she pulled her upwards, wrapped her arms around her waist and snapped off a trio of German suplexes, bridging up into a pinfall as she connected with the third.
Vee: Gwen’s getting tossed around like trash….and that’s alright with me.
One…
Two…
Kevin: If you could score points on pinfall attempts, the champions would have a commanding lead.
Gwen kicked out and Missy immediately rolled away to her feet where she quickly headed towards the corner and made the tag to Kelly. As the New Yorker stepped through the ropes, Missy charged across the ring and came back to launch herself into a flying shoulder tackle to the back of Margolis’ leg as Kelly connected with a slingblade clothesline - the Champions delivering a High-Low to the legal half of the challengers. The Champions kipped back up to their feet and again they took off in opposite directions, hitting the ropes as Gwen sat up and caught her with stereo low dropkicks to the sides her head which saw her hunch over. Missy rolled out of the ring and Kelly pulled her opponent upwards and began to fire off a series of European uppercuts to her jaw before she dropped the Texan to her knees with a roundhouse kick to the face. Margolis went to push back up to her feet but as she did so, Kelly hooked her head and spiked her into the mat with a DDT. Gwen fell to the mat face first and the former acrobat forced her to roll to her back and made the cover once more, hooking the legs as she did so.
Kevin: Here we go again, Kelly back on top for the cover!
One…
Two…
...T--
Vee: Look, you’re not going to hurt her hitting her in the head. Let’s just go ahead and accept that.
Gwen kicked out once more and Kelly looked towards the referee, nodding her head as the two count was confirmed before she went to pull Margolis up from the mat and to her feet. As the New Yorker got her fellow American upright she started to drive knees into her stomach, landing three before she hooked the Texan’s head and lifted her up looking for a suplex only for Margolis to slip out of her grip and land on her feet behind the former Acrobat. As Kelly spun around, Gwen met her with a forearm smash to the side of her face that stumbled her back a step. A second and third forearm followed that before Margolis took Kelly down to the canvas with an armdrag that she transitioned straight into an arm wringer.
Kevin: Gwen’s finally gotten in control here, and stopped the opening onslaught of the champions. She’s got a few seconds to strategize again here.
Vee: Again? What makes you think she came in here with a strategy at the start? Probably too busy watching videos on the Bilderbergs.
The New Yorker reached for her shoulder and started back to her feet, Margolis twisted the limb around in the joint once more torquing up on the hold before she started to fire off side kicks into her foe’s stomach. Five landed before the challenger hurled Kelly down to the mat with an exploder suplex. Kincaid rolled and started back to her feet where she took off towards Gwen and ran straight into a bicycle kick from the Texan. Kincaid stumbled backwards on unstable legs and Margolis quickly went low as she grabbed the New Yorker around the waist, lifting her up and dropping her face first to the canvas with a flapjack, transitioning through and into a Boston crab. The legal half of the challengers sat low on her opponent’s lower back as she pulled back on her legs, Rivers dropping down in front of the Tag Champion and asking her if she wanted to quit, getting a refusal from the New Yorker.
Kevin: I don’t think Kelly’s ever tapped out too often that I can recall, but this may be more just letting Gwen collect her marbles after the way things started.
Vee: Pretty sure Kristina or Michelle could make her tap out to a Boston crab. It just depends on how well you apply it.
Gwen leaned backwards, pulling back on her opponent’s legs to put further pressure on the spine causing Kelly to shake her head as she refused to submit to the hold. The former SVW Champion started to pull and scratch and claw at the mat, dragging the pair of them towards the ring ropes until she reached out and was able to grab hold of the bottom rope. The referee called for a break and immediately got it as Margolis stood up and delivered a double knee drop into the former acrobat’s back. The official told the challenger to back away only for Gwen to pull Kelly to her feet and Irish whip her across the ring and into the Illuminati PROJEKT corner. As Kincaid struck the turnbuckles, Gwen followed her in and caught her with a running knee to her stomach before she pulled her forwards away from the corner, forcing her head downwards into a trio of knee lifts to her face. The former Acrobat straightened up and got a low dropkick to her kneecap that saw her fall backwards into a sitting position against the turnbuckles in the corner.
Kevin: Textbook isolation offense here, which is what every tag team has to utilize to be successful.
Vee: I’m pretty sure she just kinda lucked into that honestly. These two aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box.
Gwen stomped away at the New Yorker and gave the tag to her uncle; Monty stepped through the ropes and began to stomp away at Kelly. Gwen quickly circled around to the middle of the ring where she charged forwards and caught the Tag Team Champion with a cannonball senton as Monty stepped to the side. His niece left the ring and Monty quickly pulled the former acrobat back up to her feet and started to unload on her with a series of stiff knife edge chops to the chest before he sent Kelly out of the corner with a monkey flip. The former acrobat hit the mat hard and started to rise back to her feet only to get taken down to the mat with a clothesline from the male half of the challengers. Kelly rolled to the side and started to rise where Monty caught her with a running knee lift. It saw Kincaid spin away from him and Monty didn’t waste any time in sending her down to the mat with a release belly to back suplex.
Kevin: Monty’s tossing Kelly around here. And it’s one of the rare cases in SVW where Monty is the strongest person in the match.
Vee: That’s like being the prettiest girl at the family reunion, isn’t it?
Kelly hit the mat and took a moment before she started to rise only for Monty to rock her as she got to her feet with a roundhouse kick to the side of the Champions head. As Kincaid staggered a step, the man grabbed her by the wrist and Irish whipped her into a neutral corner. As the former acrobat crashed back first into the turnbuckles, Monty darted in after her and delivered a double knee strike into her chest. The blonde stepped out of the corner and was immediately scooped off her feet and into a fallaway slam that sent her back down to the mat. Monty kipped up to his feet where he quickly scaled the turnbuckles, waited for a second or so as Kelly came back to her feet and launched himself into a high cross body that sent her down to the mat and he hooked the leg for the cover.
Vee: Look, an idiot can fly, Kevin!
One…
Two…
Kevin: Just a two for Monty off the cross body. It’s gonna take more than that to keep Kelly down.
Kelly kicked out and Monty checked with the referee, nodding his head in acceptance of the count and as the Tag Team Champion sat up, he locked in a hammerlock on the blonde, twisting her arm up her back as far as he could. It caused Kelly to grimace, the referee asking the acrobat if she wanted to quit and a snort of derision as she refused and started back to her feet. Monty kept the hold applied as they came back upright, pushing her arm even further up towards her shoulder blades before he lifted her off her feet, with the hammerlock still applied and into an inverted atomic drop. Kelly tried to step forwards gingerly after receiving the move only for the hammerlock to still be locked in tightly before he scooped her up and slammed her down into the canvas onto her trapped arm.
Kevin: Nice hammerlock slam from Monty there. These two have waited so long to get this chance, and they are clearly making the most of it.
Vee: Well their idea of giving it the most is about 30% of what most wrestlers can do. I’m telling you these two are complete morons. Monty probably thinks he’s wrestling a clone.
Kelly rolled away and was pulled back up to her feet once more as Monty grabbed her by the wrist and Irish whipped her across the ring and into the Illuminati PROJEKT corner. The legal half of the challengers followed her in, catching her with a two footed dropkick to the chest before he rolled back to his feet and launched himself into a shoulder thrust into her stomach. Three more followed it as the referee called for the break and got to a three count before Monty stepped backwards and used the middle rope to deliver an enzuigiri to the side of Kelly’s head. The former FFW Champion staggered out of the corner, making it two steps before she flopped forwards, faceplanting to the mat. Monty made the tag to Gwen who entered the ring as Kelly slowly pushed up to all fours which saw Monty wrap his arms around her body and jerk her upwards into a wheelbarrow facebuster; Gwen leaving her feet as he lifted her up and caught her on the way back down with a codebreaker. Kelly bounced off her knees and landed on her back and the challenger dove on top of her, hooking her leg for the cover as Monty stepped back out onto the apron.
Kevin: What impact from Gwen! And we may have new tag champions right now!
One…
Two…
...T-
Vee: If she used a tire iron, maybe. But those knobby knees aren’t getting it done.
Kelly rolled her shoulder to break up the pinfall and Gwen pulled her foe back up to her feet and straight into a side Russian leg sweep. Kincaid tried to roll to the side but as she did so, Margolis came off the ring ropes and caught her with a baseball slide to her spine before she pulled her upwards and hoisted her onto her shoulders where she drove her down into the canvas with a Samoan drop. As she landed the move, Margolis leaned backwards and hooked the leg for the cover again.
Kevin: Gwen’s looking to make history with what would be the first title change tonight!
One…
Two…
...T-
Vee: Ha, she outsmarted Gwen! Not that it’s difficult…
This time Kelly hooked Gwen’s arm and rolled her over into a crucifix pinning combination.
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Kevin: Close but no cigar for Kelly there. She’s gotta be thinking about getting back to her corner.
Margolis kicked out in the nick of time and came back to her feet, breathing a sigh of relief as she saw the two count shown and came to her feet, where she lunged at the New Yorker, catching her with a forearm shot to the side of her face. Another pair of forearms followed that saw Kelly take three steps backwards. Margolis quickly went to send her opponent in for the ride only for Kelly to slam on the brakes and reverse the Irish whip. As Margolis returned, Kincaid leap frogged over her; the Texan stopped on a dime behind her and as the former circus performer landed on her feet, Gwen rolled her up into a school girl pinning predicament.
Kevin: Quick thinking by Gwen after some unreal agility!
One…
Two…
...THR--
Vee: The words “quick thinking” and Gwen do not go together in the same sentence….unless you’re being sarcastic.
Kelly kicked out, rolling backwards as she did so and came to her feet where she looked to drive a boot into her opponent’s face only for Gwen to catch hold of the leg and jerk the New Yorker down with a dragon screw leg whip. Margolis didn’t release her grip as she transitioned through to apply a kneebar. The official dropped down to check on Kelly once more, asking her if she wanted to submit and got a ‘No’ from the former acrobat. The challenger wrenched the hold on tighter, applying more pressure. Still Kelly refused to submit and started to try and claw her way towards the ropes even though she was trapped in the middle of the ring. The referee asked Kelly again if she wanted to submit, getting another shake of the head as she continued to try and pull them towards the ropes, pausing only to pull at her hair, kicking at the mat with her free foot and then stretched out forlornly towards the ring ropes. The referee asked again, getting another ‘No’ as Kelly tried once more to drag herself towards the bottom rope before her hand started to hover and waver over the mat.
Vee: Go ahead and quit, Kelly. Then we can be done with this match. We all know that the Wicked Storm are the best tag team in SVW anyway.
Kevin: Well at least one of us thinks so. Kelly looks like she’s giving it some thought, but she hasn’t given in yet.
The referee was watching the hand like a hawk as he asked again and before he got an answer, Missy drove a kick into Gwen’s spine and then a pair of boots into the side of her head to break up the hold. The Leeds native immediately backed up to her corner, telling Kelly to pull herself together already as she did so while Monty stopped himself halfway in the ring and Gwen glared at the former Defiance Champion while she held the side of her face. The official made sure Missy was back in her corner and holding the tag rope as she turned back towards the action in the ring where Gwen had pulled Kelly back to her feet and locked in an arm wringer on the blonde, jerking her by the wrist towards the Illuminati PROJEKT corner where she made the tag to her uncle. Monty launched herself into the ring over the top rope and delivered an elbow strike into the New Yorker’s arm. Kelly tried to turn away but as she did so, Monty lifted her up onto his shoulders and then threw her forwards into a Go To Sleep with both his knee and Gwen’s knee catching her in the face. Kincaid somehow managed to land on her feet, stumbling backwards on spaghetti legs which was then the two Illuminati PROJEKT members skipped forwards and landed a double superkick - Goes To Eleven to her jaw. The New Yorker dropped like a rock and Monty dove on top of her, hooking her leg for the cover as Rivers made sure Gwen was leaving the ring before he slid into position to make the count.
Kevin: Monty GOES TO ELEVEN, and all he need is a three now!
One…
Two…
...THRE--------
Vee: Damn it! Will one of these teams win already? Why aren’t Kristina and Michelle in this match? It’d be over by now.
Kelly’s shoulder popped up from the canvas in the nick of time and the official waved off the three count. Monty looked to the referee, asking for the three but had the two confirmed as the official told him the shoulder came up in time. He nodded his head as Kelly rolled away to the ropes and started to pull herself upwards; Monty took a moment to play to the crowd before he dropped back to the ropes and used them to catapult himself across the ring, where he went for a tiger feint kick as Kelly was hanging over the middle rope. However, he got nothing but air as Kincaid ducked down to avoid the blow, Monty landing on his feet and spinning around before he counted his balance which allowed Kelly to grab hold of his tights and fall backwards, to send him throat first into the top rope. The male half of the challengers staggered backwards as Kelly used the ropes to pull herself quickly to her feet and then launched herself off the middle to deliver a springboard knee strike to the side of his head; the blonde landing her knees on the mat next to him.
Kevin: Kelly nearly sent some of Monty’s teeth into the fourth row with that knee, didn’t she?
Vee: At his age, they are probably false teeth anyway.
Monty held his jaw as he started to come back to his feet, and he stepped towards the New Yorker who had managed to push up to one knee. He started to bring her upwards only for Kincaid to suddenly grab hold of his head and drop to her knees for a jawbreaker. It sent Margolis backwards, holding his jaw once again as he caught his balance and Kelly launched herself from the mat and into a spear that drove him back down to the mat and the New Yorker rolled away and pushed up to her knees where she began to crawl towards Missy in the corner. As she headed towards her partner she started to come to her feet and was getting close to making the tag only for Margolis to dive forwards and grab hold of her ankle to stop her in her tracks. Kelly tried to step forwards regardless but Monty had a firm grip on her leg and pulled her backwards as he began to rise to his feet, causing her to take a step backwards. As he made it upright, Kelly left her feet and missed an enzuigiri as he ducked underneath it, landing on her back as she did so.
Vee: Kelly really is giving the air all kinds of hell, isn’t she? Ahahahaha!!
Kevin: Monty is as quick as they come. He competes in there like someone half his age.
Immediately Monty dropped down to the mat and went to lock in a knee bar on his foe. As he did so, Kelly pushed up on her hands and used that base to lunge forwards and drive her boot into his jaw. She landed four stiff kicks to his chin before he released his grip and as he did so, Kelly rolled to her front, favouring her right leg and launched herself forwards into a dive that saw her make the tag to Missy. The Leeds born wrestler didn’t waste any time in climbing to the top rope and leaping off when Monty came back to his feet, landing on his shoulders and snapped off a headscissors takedown, sending him across the ring as she did so. The male Margolis rolled through and started back to his feet only for the Englishwoman to dart towards him, catching him with a backflip kick to his jaw that sent him back into the ring ropes. As he bounced off them, Missy leapt onto the middle rope and used them to springboard into a double handed bulldog that spiked him face first into the mat.
Vee: There you go, Monty. Have some mat, it’s good for your diet.
Kevin: Missy had been itching to get in there for a while, and she’s certainly making up for lost time.
Monty bounced back up onto his hands and knees and as he did so, Missy grabbed hold of his arm and rolled him over into a magistral cradle pinning combination.
Kevin: Look at that cradle, Missy’s gonna play clean up right here!

Vee: He may not be the brightest guy, but he’s got a lot of fight.
Margolis kicked out, rolling towards a neutral corner as he did so trying to come quickly to his feet only for Missy to catch him with a codebreaker. He bounced off her knees and fell backwards into the corner where Missy hopped up quickly to the top rope and launched herself out of the corner and into a Tornado DDT that drove him down into the mat. Missy rolled out ot the apron and pulled herself up to her feet, glaring at Gwen in the corner for a moment as the referee told the female half of the challengers to stay back before Missy used the top rope to catapult herself over the top rope and delivered a somersault leg drop across the back of his head and neck as he rose to all fours. Again Margolis began to push back upwards, slowly getting to his hands and knees again where Missy pulled him the rest of the way to his feet and into a single knee facebreaker that she followed up with a sit out facebuster. She drove Monty’s face into the mat with the move and it saw him bounce up and roll onto his back where the Leeds native ‘moved quickly to kneel over his chest and grab hold of his legs to make the pinfall once more.
Vee: She’s got both legs, but she needs to grab some tights too!

...THRE--
Kevin: Close call yet again, but Monty won’t stay down for anything.
Margolis managed to shoot his shoulder up from the mat to break the pinning combination before the three count could be completed. Missy looked to the referee with three fingers raised only for the official to shake his head and tell her it was only two, getting a nod from the brunette as she came to her feet. She started to circle Monty, waving him upwards, watching as he slowly made it to his feet before she bounced off the ropes and caught him with a bicycle knee shot to the jaw, following it with a vicious roundhouse kick that snapped his head to the side, causing him to turn his body as he did so which allowed Missy to hook his arms and snap off a dragon suplex, driving the back of his head and shoulders into the canvas, the momentum causing Monty to roll through onto his knees, sitting back on his heels. He took a moment, holding the back of his head with one hand before he began to push up. He only made it to one knee before Missy came off the ropes in front of him and caught him with a running knee strike to the face that saw him collapse back to the mat. Missy turned to her side and again headed towards the ropes, hopping up onto the middle strand before she launched herself back into a moonsault that connected perfectly. She hooked his leg as she made the cover.
Kevin: You could almost call that the Missy-sault, and it may net her the win!
One…
Two…
...THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vee: Missy-sault….good lord. Don’t give her any ideas.
Monty’s shoulder came up in the nick of time and Missy stared at the referee, three fingers raised as she sought the victory but once more had the two confirmed to her as Rivers told her the shoulder came up in time. Missy came to her feet, checking once more that it was only a two count, the official telling her it was just two once more and the shoulder came up, getting a nod from the head from the champion this time. The Englishwoman began to circle her opponent as he rolled to his front and started to push up; Missy stomping the mat as he did which caused dual chants to break out for both teams. Monty came to all fours; Gwen started to step through the ropes; Missy started to step forwards quickly and leapt into the air for the Mischief Maker which got nothing but mat as Monty rolled out of the way at the last moment. Missy stumbled as she landed and that was when Gwen struck, catching her with a spinning roundhouse kick to the brunette which she followed up with a backstabber. Missy bounced up off her knees and fell towards Monty who caught her on his shoulders and flipped her down to the mat with a fireman’s carry slam as Gwen rolled out of the ring, only for Kelly to catch her with a cannonball senton off the apron to take her down to the floor. In the ring, Monty quickly came to his feet and caught her with a splash before he hooked the leg for the cover.
Vee: Look, it’s a geriatric splash on Missy!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Kevin: Would you stop? No matter what you call it, Missy still managed to escape the three.
Missy kicked out a moment before the three could land and Monty looked to the referee, asking for the three and waving him away dismissively as the two was confirmed to him. Margolis rolled to the ropes and started back to his feet and moved around behind Missy as she came back to one knee. He reached over her shoulders to grab hold of her wrists, pulling them across her body and up to her feet where he yanked her into an armtrap backstabber. Monty went to make the cover, hooking the leg as he did so.
Kevin: That might do it!! I don’t think Missy knew it was coming!
One…
Two…
...THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vee: If Gwen was smart, she’d grab a weapon and splatter Kelly’s brains on the concrete right about now.
Before the three count could be completed, Kelly made it back into the ring and dove on top of him to break up the count, coming back to her feet as Gwen charged at her with a cactus clothesline that took them both over the top rope. Gwen landing on the floor hard as Kincaid managed to grab hold of the top and land on the apron on her feet where she pulled herself upright as she did so Monty grabbed hold of her and spun her around, looking to drive a forearm into her the side of her face only for the New Yorker to duck before the shot and deliver a shoulder thrust into his midriff before Kelly could do any more, Gwen grabbed hold of her ankle and jerked her off the ring apron. The former Acrobat landed on her feet on the floor and was dropped to her knees with a jumping knee from the female half of the challengers.
Kevin: Gwen is just as lethal with those knee strikes as Kelly has been tonight.
Vee: She should have loaded them, and problem solved.
In the ring, Missy rolled Monty backwards into a pinning combination and Rivers dove into position to make the count.
Kevin: Missy’s handling business in the ring, and Monty’s in trouble!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Vee: He was in trouble the day he was born.
Monty kicked out and rolled backwards as he came to his feet and immediately caught Missy with a perfect superkick to the point of her jaw that saw her fall back against the ropes, stagger forwards and fall to her knees. Immediately he went to pull her upwards and into position for the Hammer to Fall hammerlock DDT. Before he could get it locked in though, Missy managed to shove him off and straight into Rivers. The pair knocked heads which saw Rivers drop down to her knees, holding his head as he did so while Missy lifted Monty up and drove him down into the mat with a spinebuster, rolling away as she did so. On the outside, Gwen had pulled Kelly back up and was looking to deliver a wheelbarrow facebuster only for Kincaid to counter out of it and into a bulldog, driving Gwen face first into the floor. Quickly Kelly came back to her feet using the ring skirt and slid into the ring where she pulled Monty upwards and drove him into the mat with the Clipped Wings headlock driver before she checked on Missy and told her to put him away, then went to revive the referee.
Kevin: CLIPPED WINGS...But Kelly’s not legal and the referee is still in La-La land.
Vee: That’s fine. He’s as brainless as the four of them, so I don’t expect much.
Missy, though, slowly started to come to her feet, holding her jaw and took a moment, leaned up against the corner. Monty had a glazed look in his eyes as he started to force himself upwards, raising his head from the mat only for Missy to catch him with a curb stomp to the back of his head that saw him bounce and roll onto his back. The Leeds born wrestler fell across his body and Kelly darted towards Gwen, catching her with a baseball slide to her chest on the outside while Rivers crawled towards the cover and slowly, dazedly began the count.
Kevin: LI’L MISS MISCHIEF!! And the referee is starting to move!
One……..
Two………
……...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vee: Well good, at least it’s over now. I figured the giant meteor was going to hit before that three count finished.
Kelly broke away from Gwen, and rolled into the ring to help Missy up. The referee raised both of their hands in victory, and got a loud reception from the fans.
Kevin: This team of Missy and Kelly are proving again and again that you don’t have to be friends to be one hell of a tag team! Another retention in the books for the tag champions!
Vee: Can someone PLEASE take the titles off these two? Anyone?!
John: Here are your winners, by way of pinfall… AND STTTTTIIIILLLLLLL SVW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!! The team of KELLY KINCAID and MISSY!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin: The tag champions retained tonight, but I have a feeling that the Projekt are going to be wanting another round with them. And I doubt Kelly and Missy are gonna ignore them.
Vee: They’ll get over it. The lives of the Margolises are fraught with disappointment. Think how their parents felt.
Christian presented them both with the tag titles that they raised in the air, Missy still looking to be trying to clear the cobwebs as she did so. Kelly raised her title in the air as the girls’ manager applauded them both.
The Star DistractionThe show cuts away from the tag title match to the office of Cody Kincaid. The SVW CEO hasn’t been seen on television in a while, and now he finds him standing outside the door as he has his head stuck in, speaking to someone. Cody: Don’t worry, I got this covered. One second. He turns back to the camera. Cody: First of all, let me congratulate the tag champions on a successful retention tonight. Kelly and Missy continue to defy expectations as a makeshift team who I frankly didn’t give a snowball’s chance in hell. But I’m sure they are happy, and so is my big brother. And what I’m about to reveal is what I hope he will see as a peace offering. I know we’ve had some rough patches lately, but in the past few weeks, I have put together a deal that is going to benefit him greatly financially as well as bring in one of his top tier clients to an extremely lucrative contract. Cody opens the door to his office to reveal who he’s talking about as she emerges through the door frame. Wearing a black leather mini skirt and red sleeveless top, Scarlett Silver leans against the door frame with a smirk on her face. Scarlett: I thought it was about time I showed up on camera. Couldn’t keep denying the masses the opportunity to see me now could I? And I think we can all agree, I’ve been away from the limelight for far too long already. Cody: Well we didn’t put together those promotional clips for the hell of it. Ladies and gentlemen of SVW, I’d like you to meet the “Star Distraction” Scarlett Silver. If you haven’t ever heard of her before, welcome back from your multi-year coma. It’s 2021, and it’s time you got caught up. For those who do know her, you know she’s captured every goal she’s set for herself. And I have no doubt that will continue with her now part of SVW. Scarlett: I am positive it will continue here in SVW. Like you already said, I’ve captured every goal I’ve ever set for myself… and now here in SVW I’m gonna capture some more. And just like I always do, I’ll make sure I give everyone a show worth watching in the process. There is a reason I’m the Star Distraction, after all. She gives her hair a little fluff as she winks at the camera. Cody: When you have a star of this magnitude, you don’t start them at the bottom of the ladder. And I don’t plan for that to be the case for Scarlett. As a matter of fact, she’s going to debut against one of the top contenders for the Defiance Championship on the first SVW show of the new year. A woman who has held that title, actually. It’ll be Scarlett meeting Luci on the first Aggression of 2022. Scarlett: I can hardly wait. And I’m sure the fans can’t either, at least those that have any taste. The camera gets a close up of Scarlett, which she clearly doesn’t mind before the show returns to the ring for the next match.

Live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon November 29, 2021The SVW logo is seen on a road sign as a truck barrels past it underneath a stormy night’s sky. The shot switches to inside the cab of the truck, finding Scarlett Kincaid barreling down the road. “Bad Moon Rising” by Creedence Clearwater Revival starts playing as she checks her rear view mirror, and there we see clips from her last title match against Lacey….and the rest of the Gold Standard. I see the bad moon a-rising I see trouble on the way I see earthquakes and lightning I see bad times todayThe shot then changes to show the night Lacey won the Midas Touch at Extreme Prejudice last year, and then cashing it in on SVW’s 10th anniversary to become the champion. That view is being enjoyed by the champion herself as she’s seen in a little red sports car traveling the opposite direction as lightning flashes in the sky. I hear hurricanes a-blowing I know the end is coming soon I fear rivers overflowing I hear the voice of rage and ruinNext we see the headlights of both cars looming closer and closer at top speed. Just as they are about to crash into each other, we go live inside the arena as fireworks light up the arena. Thousands of fans are making a lot of noise as the camera shows the ring. We also see the Climax set, designed to look like skyline of Portland, Oregon. Hope you got your things together Hope you are quite prepared to die Looks like we're in for nasty weather One eye is taken for an eye
The camera finally settles on Kevin and Vee standing at the broadcast booth, both of them dressed well for the occasion. Kevin: Welcome to the City of Roses here in gorgeous Portland, Oregon! You are watching the 11th annual presentation of SVW’s marquee event! This is Climax, and we have a staggering card on tap. Vee: That opening video was accurate, because Scarlett is gonna feel like she got run over by a car when Lacey is through with her. She’ll prove that Scarlett was NEVER on her level. Kevin: Vivi Traeger looks to end the reign of the big man, Eric Cross, and take his Defiance Championship. I’m not one to bet against the Voodoo Priestess, and I think Cross is overlooking her. Vee: Well I think you’re dumb, so there’s that. If you’re like me, you’ll be pulling for the giant meteor in the SVW Tag Team Championship match. The Margolis nerds face Kelly and Missy, the worst tag champions in SVW history. Kevin: How can you say that? They’ve been on a roll since they defeated...oh wait, never mind. I understand. Gwen and Monty have waited patiently for this shot, and I’m positive they will leave it all in the ring tonight. Vee: Poor Ryan Sheffield has to face a beached whale that thinks it’s a cheetah. Why a megastar of the silver screen has to face someone like the “Fat Cheetah” is beyond me. Kevin: He’s got this coming, that’s why. He picked this fight, and I think he’s going to regret it. I’ll give you $10 if you can name one of Ryan’s movies that has been released in theaters. Vee: Shut up. But first, we get to watch your bimbo get her ass handed to her by the reigning Aggression Champion. Kevin: I’m sure Nadia cares what you think. We’ll talk about it in depth as it happens. Let’s send it up to John! Go ahead, good sir! The camera changes to the ring to see the tuxedo-clad John Youle standing in the center of the ring as he begins the opening introductions. John: The opening contest of Climax is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SVW Aggression Championship!
Kevin: I can’t begin to tell you how prepared Nadia is for this match as soon as she earned the title shot on the last Aggression. I’ve not seen her prepare for a singles match more.
Vee: That doesn’t surprise me. She’s not a very bright woman. You probably had to remind her of her opponent’s name a few times. French bimbos don’t retain information well.
The lights in the arena dim and the almost haunting intro to ‘Good For You’ begins to play around the arena. A warm spotlight hits the center of the stage and the curtain at the entrance is pulled back to reveal a feminine figure standing just outside the reach of the spotlight.
I'm on my fourteen carats I'm fourteen carat Doing it up like Midas Now you say I got a touch So good, so good Make you never wanna leave So don't, so don't
The figure steps into the light to reveal Nadia Beaulieu. Dressed in provocative ring gear that shows off her figure to perfection, she stands with one hand on her hip. The other raised towards her mouth with one finger resting gently on her bottom lip. She lowers her head a little as she looks around the crowd with a hooded gaze.
Gonna wear that dress you like, skin-tight Do my hair up real, real nice And syncopate my skin to your heart beating
She slowly tilts her head back and runs her finger down from her lip, over her chin and down the front of her cleavage still keeping the hooded gaze as she does. She sways her hips and starts to lower herself in rhythm with the music. She takes her time to make her way down, before taking just as much time to stand upright again. The blonde starts making her way down the ramp with a strut, running her hands down her curves at the side as she does.
'Cause I just wanna look good for you, good for you I just wanna look good for you, good for you Let me show you how proud I am to be yours Leave this dress a mess on the floor And still look good for you, good for you
John: Introducing at this time, from Beaune, France………………………..NADIA BEAULIEU!
I'm on my marquise diamonds I'm a marquise diamond Could even make that Tiffany jealous You say I give it to you hard So bad, so bad Make you never wanna leave I won't, I won't
Nadia reaches the ring and climbs the steps, before scaling to the top of the turnbuckle from the outside. She gets her balance and then runs her hands down her sides again, before she somersaults off the top to land on her feet in the ring. Immediately dropping down into the splits once she has. She stays there for a moment before getting back to her feet and heading to her corner to await the start of the match.
Kevin: Nadia spent most of a year holding SVW’s tag titles with her partner, and tonight she could hold her first singles title of her career as well.
Vee: Not very likely, so don’t get your hopes up. I mean she’s not facing some geek they found behind the building. She’s facing the one and and the only….I’ll let whatshisface do the introduction instead.
"Dangerous Woman" by Ariana Grande begins to play as two ladies in evening dresses walk out to the top of the rampway and unroll a red carpet.
Don't need permission Made my decision to test my limits Cause it's my business, God as my witness Start what I finished
AMC steps out from the back wearing a beautiful flowing robe. Her manager Kyle Kilmeade follows closely behind her. AMC stops at the top of the ramp and slowly spins in a circle as Kyle applauds his client.
Don't need no hold up Taking control of this kind of moment I'm locked and loaded Completely focused, my mind is open
John: Coming down the aisle accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade and hailing from Beverly Hills, CA. She is the reigning and defending SVW Aggression Champion, “The Beverly Hills Socialite” A. M. C.!!!!!!!!!!
All that you got, skin to skin, oh my God Don't ya stop, boy Somethin' 'bout you makes me feel like a dangerous woman Somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout, somethin' 'bout you Makes me wanna do things that I shouldn't
AMC slowly makes her way down the aisle and upon reaching the ring she walks up the steps, taking a moment to wipe her feet on the apron as Kyle gets on the apron and holds the ropes open. AMC Slowly bends over to get in the ring giving Kyle a great view of her ass causing him to smirk. Once in the ring Kyle removes her robe exposing the championship around her waist. Kyle then kisses her hand causing loud boos from the crowd.
Kevin: This will mark the first defense of the Aggression Championship by Ashley since she won it on our last event. And I have a feeling she may not make the second defense.
Vee: Listen to you now with all the favoritism. You’re supposed to be unbiased, just like me. You call it down the middle, and watch as this blonde bimbo gets dropped on her head.
Referee Billy Phelps takes the title from Ashley, and holds it over his head before he calls for the bell to start the match. Ashley takes the title back after that though, and holds it over her head next. The referee asked for it back so the match could begin, but Ashley didn’t seem too interested in doing that yet. Then it turned into a game of tug of war when the referee tried to take it from her, and that was when Nadia had enough. The former tag champion darted across the ring with a running forearm to Ashley’s head, causing her to let go of the title and the referee to hand it off to John. Meanwhile Nadia pelted her with a few more forearms, sending her into the ropes before whipping her across to the far side. Ashley barely had rebounded before Nadia left her feet with a quebrada to take the champion down and immediately go for the cover!
Vee: WHY IS THIS REFEREE COUNTING THAT?!
Kevin: Because it’s his job!
ONE!!
T-NOO!!
Kevin: Just a one count, and Ashley’s already out of sorts here!
Ashley kicked out as soon as the one count landed, and started to complain to the official as soon as she got back on her feet. But Nadia had other ideas as she spun the champion towards her, using an inverted atomic drop to cause her to walk funny before the French beauty grabbed her head into a springboard bulldog. Nadia had the Portland crowd loudly behind her as she took off to the ropes again. Chase had barely gotten up before Beaulieu connected with a blockbuster and into another cover.
Kevin: I told you she came into this match more ready than ever….and Ashley isn’t!
ONE!!!
TW-NOO!!
Ashley kicked out again, and shoved Nadia off the cover in the process. The champion got to her feet, and was almost to the ropes before Beaulieu was right behind her with a backstabber into another pin!
Vee: Damn this French tart! Who the hell does she think she is?!
Kevin: The next Aggression Champion! Nadia for the cover!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOO!!
Another kickout from Ashley, and another shove off the cover. As the blonde got back to her feet, Ashley bolted out of the ring to the floor and immediately went to her manager looking for some consoling.
Vee: This has been the worst officiating on any SVW show, and it’s only the first match. Nadia attacked her while she was handing the referee her title, and all this happened!
The Portland crowd started chanting Nadia’s name, bringing a smile to her face as she listened to them. Meanwhile on the floor, Ashley was hugged to her manager as he tried to calm her down. She finally let go as he whispered into her ear, and told the referee to keep Nadia back so she could get into the ring. Phelps did as he was asked, and Nadia took a giant step backwards with her hands up. Chase got onto the apron, still telling the referee what to do when Nadia grabbed the top rope and used it to slingshot her back inside the hard way. A standing fist drop followed that as she was getting up, and Nadia pulled her back to her feet for a few more forearms.
Vee: I thought she told this moronic referee to keep Nadia away from her so she could get back in the ring.
Kevin: One, the referee is not obliged to take orders from anyone in the match. Two, she’s back in the ring now, which was where she claimed she wanted to be.
She doubled the champion over into a front facelock, and was beginning to drive knees into her face and body until Ashley drove her backwards into the corner. A few shoulder thrusts knocked the wind out of Nadia before Chase stood up with a palm thrust under her chin. It snapped the blonde’s head backwards before Ashley fired her across to the far side. Beaulieu hit the corner chest first as Ashley hit the near side ropes, and took her down with a sling blade clothesline.
Vee: Now things are starting to get under control here. Ashley just had to wait for Bimbo Barbie to start competing fairly and cleanly.
Kevin: Nadia never broke a single rule. Ashley drew all of what she absorbed on herself. Keep us updated on whatever match you’re watching on the monitor.
It was clear Nadia had gotten under her skin by the expression on her face. She pulled her arms behind her as Nadia was trying to get up, and started stomping the back of her head repeatedly. The last stomp drove her face down onto the mat, and Ashley followed that with a double stomp to her back. She watched as Nadia was beginning to rise before snatching a rear waistlock, and snapping off a German suplex that sent the former tag team champion into the turnbuckle. The blonde slumped against the bottom and clutched the back of her head before Chase stood on her chest and neck for a four count.
Kevin: I suppose, in your mind, what we just saw was legal?
Vee: Totally. I think she saw a bug on Nadia’s neck and was trying to get rid of it. I don’t blame her. You never know where French girls have been. I mean she sleeps with you, right?
Phelps told Ashley to let Nadia out of the corner after she finally got to her feet. Chase ignored him though with a running boot to her jaw, causing her to turn away from the ring on impact and allowing the champion to apply a cobra clutch before she could turn around again. Ashley shook her back and forth in the hold, and dragged her away from the corner before falling backwards to the mat with it still applied.
Vee: I’ve seen Stacey use this hold before, and Ashley is just as effective at it. Now she can just choke out the tramp, and leave Portland with her title.
Kevin: Much easier said than done, but I’m sure that’s what Ashley has in mind here. Nadia needs to find the ropes in as short of a time as possible.
The referee knelt by Nadia’s head, asking her if she wanted to stop the match. But the former tag champion showed no signs of quitting as she reached out for the ropes. She was close to them, but her arm wasn’t long enough to reach the bottom. Ashley rolled to her side, and then applied body scissors at the same time. Beaulieu continued to reach, but she was starting to fade. The Portland crowd was chanting her name again though.
Kevin: Nadia’s fighting it here, but I’m not sure how much longer she’s gonna be able to withstand this cobra clutch without succumbing to it.
Vee: I’m running a stopwatch in my mind on her now. I figure it’s any second she’s gonna find sleepy time.
The fans tried to help her, but her movements became more languid anyway. A grin formed on the champion’s face as she watched Nadia’s movements falter. The referee checked that arm twice, and watched it fall. The third time though, it almost fell to the mat before she was able to kick her foot under the bottom rope. Chase groused for a four count before she shoved the challenger away from her. She quickly pulled her up into a double underhook DDT and went for the cover.
Vee: That’s how you do it! Just knock the bimbo out, keep your title, and get out of this hellhole!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THRE-NO!!
Nadia got her shoulder off the mat, and the fans started getting behind her all over again. Ashley, however, was not amused. She grabbed Nadia with two handfuls of hair back to her feet, and flung her into the corner.
Kevin: Ashley may be looking for something big here. I’m not sure Nadia’s totally aware of where she is right now!
Vee: Is she ever?!
Chase backed up a few steps, and charged towards the blonde with a corner clothesline. That was until Nadia stepped forward, scooped her up by the waist, and used a stun gun that sent the champion face first into the top turnbuckle. The champion slumped against it seriously dazed as the fans cheered Nadia as she finally got back to her feet. Kyle tried to warn Ashley before Nadia scooped her up onto her shoulders, and dropped backwards with an electric chair. She darted for the ropes, using them for a springboard moonsault into a cover!
Kevin: Look at Nadia go! Ashley doesn’t know if she’s in Portland or Portugal!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!
Chase got her shoulder up again, and Nadia slowly sat up and tried to get herself together again. She then headed for the corner, and made her way to the top rope until Ashley was vertical and turned around. A high angle meteora drove her into the mat before Nadia hooked both legs for the cover!
Vee: NO NO NO NO!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO.
Ashley’s shoulder came up again, and Nadia got back to her feet. She gave the sign for her finisher, and headed back to the corner once again. Well she almost did until she spotted Kyle arguing with the referee from the floor. She stopped that with a baseball slide into his chest, and then headed back to the top rope.
Kevin: I don’t know what Kilmeade was arguing with the referee about, but it doesn’t matter now, does it?
Vee: She’s attacking innocent people! Why aren’t you telling her how to act? Aren’t you the man in this relationship?!
Nadia was halfway up the corner when Ashley stormed towards her, leaving her feet for a codebreaker that flipped her over to the mat. The blonde tried to get to her feet till a superkick to the side of her head stopped that, and Ashley stumbled into the ropes. She glanced over to her manager as Kyle sat on the floor rubbing his chest. And when she looked back to see Nadia starting to get up, Ashley bolted towards her with a massive spear before rolling both legs up for the cover! As the referee dropped to count, Ashley grabbed two handfuls of Nadia’s tights.
Vee: Holy hell, now that’s a spear!! Welcome to the WALK OF FAME, Nadia!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Phelps called for the bell, and Ashley made it back to her feet. She got her hand raised to loud boos from the fans as Kyle joined her in the ring.
Kevin: Yeah, she had so much faith in it she needed two handfuls of Nadia’s tights to make sure she got the pin.
Vee: All that matters is what it’s going to say in the record books, and that is…..
John: Your winner by pinfall….AND STILL SVW Aggression Champion…..ASHLEY MARIE CHASE!!!
Kyle handed her the title, which she kissed and laid over her shoulder before getting her hand raised again by her manager. Chase held the title up once again for the unhappy Portland fans.
Vee: Now that’s a great way to start a show with a championship retention little girls watching all over the world can be proud of. Aren’t you going to congratulate her?
Kevin: I think you’re kissing her ass enough for all of us in the Moda Center. I’m sure she’ll have Kilmeade look over her ouchies when they get to the back.
Vee: Jealous?
As the pair headed towards the back with Ashley proudly holding up her Aggression Championship, the show went to a commercial for the merchandise site.

The show heads back to the ring after the break for the main event as John begins once again with the introductions.
John: The following contest is your main event, scheduled for one fall to a finish with the winner earning a match for the SVW Defiance Championship.
Kevin: You heard it right there, fans. It’s main event time with two former champions about to take the next step up the ladder.
Vee: I’m going with Stacey all the way for this one. She was dominant for almost a year, and River’s just a dumb blonde who can’t get her hair color sorted.
As the opening of ‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ by Def Leppard starts to play, Kyle Kilmeade steps through the curtain and holds it open. Stacey Sky steps out onto the stage wearing her ring gear which consists of a black bra-style top, with gold trim. A black and gold cheerleader style skirt, and black boots with a gold trim.
Pour some sugar on me Ooh, in the name of love Pour some sugar on me C'mon, fire me up Pour your sugar on me I can't get enough
She stops at the start of the ramp and runs her hands down her sides until she reaches her hips and then stands with her hands on hips for a moment, before she starts moving towards the ring with Kyle walking slightly behind her.
I'm hot, sticky sweet From my head to my feet, yeah
As the line hot, sticky sweet plays, she raises her finger to her mouth and tilts her head to one side. Then she sways her hips, lowering herself down at the same time, before popping back up and blowing a kiss from one side to the other.
John: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Anaheim, California and accompanied by Kyle Kilmeade…………….“Sensational” Stacey Sky
Listen! red light, yellow light, green-a-light go! Crazy little woman in a one man show Mirror queen, mannequine, rhythm of love Sweet dream, saccharine, loosen up Loosen up
She takes off at a run towards the ring and then jumps up onto the apron, where she immediately drops down into the splits. She leans forwards and grabs hold of her foot, lowering her head so she can roll under the bottom rope, still in the splits. Once in the ring, she moves up to her knees, throwing her head back as she does. She licks her lips and gives a devilish smile out to the crowd.
You gotta squeeze a little, squeeze a little Tease a little more Easy operator come a knockin' on my door Sometime, anytime, sugar me sweet Little miss innocent sugar me, yeah, yeah Give a little more.
As her music starts to fade she gets to her feet and goes to her corner, climbing up, she sits on the top turnbuckle with her legs crossed and shares a few last minute words with her manager on the apron as she awaits the start of the match.
Kevin: You may not be a fan of hers, but Stacey Sky has certainly earned this chance to get a Defiance title shot. Like you said, Vee, she was dominant for most of 2021 as the Adrenaline Champion. No question in my mind she deserves to be here.
Vee: Finally, we agree on something. Of course, the smarter move would have been to award her the shot without making her get her hands dirty with River.
The lights extinguish inside the arena only for a hockey style goal horn to sound; causing a spotlight to snap on and highlight the one, the only, River Campbell stood at the top of the stage playing to the crowd, waving her arms to get them to join in with the clapping and the opening “Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh’s…” of “The Enforcer” by Monster Truck. She nods her head, revelling in it as the lyrics kick in.
“I'm not looking for a fight If you come at me tonight I'm gonna make you sorry. Don't try my patience, son There's a reason I'm the one, People stand aside for.”
With a smirk on her face she sets off down the ramp, beating her chest as she does so. When she reaches the ring she climbs up the ring steps. Entering the ring, the musician continues to play to the fans by standing on the middle rope and raising her hand in the air. She repeats this on all four sides of the ring before returning to her corner and waiting impatiently for the match to start.
John: From New York, New York, weighing 143lbs, standing 5’7” she is...RIVER CAMPBELL!!!
Kevin: What I said about Stacey certainly holds true, in my view, as it pertains to River. She has never backed down from a challenge, and I know for a fact she’d love to get that Defiance title shot in the new year.
Referee Angela Rocca calls for the bell to start the match, and it all begins with a mutual scowl towards one another from both women. They meet in the center, and are about to lock up when River surprises the former cheerleader with a kick to the stomach as she approaches. It only stops Stacey for a half second before River lowers her shoulder, and drives her backwards into the corner with a running shoulder tackle. Sky tries to free herself as soon as she collides with the turnbuckles by raining down clubbing blows to River’s back. But the musician is undeterred as she drives thrust after thrust into Stacey’s body, trying to take the wind out of her early.
Kevin: River’s trying to wind Stacey down right out of the gate with these shoulder blocks, and that’s not a bad idea at all. It might keep her from trying some of her aerial moves.
Vee: I don’t think it’s going to make a difference really. Stacey can weather all this, and still beat River within an inch of her life.
River finally relents with the shoulder thrusts, and steps back to fire a palm thrust into Stacey’s neck. That really stops her for a moment before the former Aggression Champion grabs her head and takes off for the opposite side with a corner bulldog. It drops Stacey to her knees on the mat, and Campbell steps up onto the middle rope and drops down with a splash across Sky’s back to put her on the canvas. She quickly takes both feet to drag her to the center of the ring, and rolls her over. She raises her foot like she’s going to stomp Sky low, getting a response from the crowd before she ends up using a diving headbutt into Stacey’s body instead.
Vee: Hey, that’s a low blow! Why isn’t the referee calling for the bell already?
Kevin: It was NOT a low blow. She hit her in the stomach, she was just giving Stacey something to think about with her foot.
The former cheerleader rolled over clutching her stomach until River grabbed her feet again, and fell backwards with a catapult that sent the blonde abdomen first into the top turnbuckle. The previous Adrenaline Champion’s legs hung over the top rope for a second before Campbell started bouncing the rope up and down to shake her loose and cause her to land back inside the ring. River had a little grin on her face as she rallied the crowd behind her.
Kevin: Stacey is getting abused from stem to stern here, courtesy of River. And if something doesn’t change sooner than later, this may not last much longer.
Vee: That’s because River attacked her before she was ready. Stacey was wanting a tie-up at the start, and then River started using cheap shots.
Stacey got back to her feet a bit awkwardly before River spun her around. She scooped her over her shoulder for a running powerslam, but Stacey slipped out the back and landed on her feet. River turned around just as Stacey walloped her with a discus elbow to the mouth that sent her backwards a step. Sky fired her across to the far side, and followed after her with a dropkick as she rebounded that sent her through the ropes out to the floor. The cheerleader got back to her feet with an annoyed look on her face as Rocca began to count out River.
Vee: Now Stacey’s starting to get it rolling, Kevin. If River wants to play dirty, Stacey is willing to do that...as unaccustomed as she is to underhanded tactics.
Kevin: Oh yeah, she’s always been adherent to the rules from the day she walked in the door. Mhmm.
Sky stepped out onto the apron as she watched River beginning to get up, and caught her with a meteora to the floor when she turned to face her. Stacey rained right hands onto her head amid boos from the crowd. She dragged the musician to her feet, and bounced her head off the top of the barricade and then the apron before Campbell fell to a slump against the stairs. She glanced over to see Kyle keeping the referee occupied from counting, and charged with a running knee trembler that smashed River’s head against the steps. The musician was tossed back inside before Stacey slid in to make the cover.
Kevin: And what do you call all that we just saw on the floor? Wait, we got a cover!
ONE!!!
TW-NO.
River kicked out as the two was about to land, and rolled away from Stacey. But the cheerleader didn’t let her get far, and immediately went to get her. She landed a few stomps into her body to stop her before pulling her back to her feet, and into a neckbreaker.
Vee: That was smart, that’s what I called that. It was River’s dumb fault for falling through the ropes like that. Stacey just went to get her.
Stacey pulled her back to her feet, and whipped her into the far corner. As soon as River landed against the turnbuckles, Stacey followed her in with a running knee strike after she left her feet. It snapped River’s head back, and Stacey climbed the corner to bring her out with a hurricanrana. She didn’t waste any time in going up to the top rope, this time aiming for a frog splash. But all she landed on was River’s knees before Campbell quickly went for the cover after that.
Vee: There’s a perfect fro---NOO, WAIT!!
ONE!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
T-NO.
Stacey kicked out just as the two struck, and River rolled to lay on the mat. Sky held her ribs as she laid on her side in pain where River’s knees caught her.
Kevin: I’ll give you that much. The form on the frog splash was fantastic, but she stuck the landing in the worst way possible.
Rocca started counting them both down until River sat up at five. She made it back to her feet with the crowd firmly behind her. Stacey was rising at seven as River took off past her with a one-handed bulldog. She was still a little worse for wear as it took her a moment to get back to her feet. When she spotted Stacey doing the same, she pulled her up the rest of the way and sent her across with an Irish whip. She popped the cheerleader up on the rebound with a leaping European uppercut that dropped her like a rock.
Kevin: The last time I saw height like that was in a Street Fighter game! River jacked Stacey’s jaw, and she may be looking to close the show sooner than later.
Vee: What do you know about video games? You should focus your time on doing a better job out here so I don’t have to carry you.
Almost as though she heard Kevin, River headed to the corner and dropped down into a three point stance. The fans got much louder now as she started pawing her foot like a bull ready to be let out of the gate. Stacey was a little slow to move though. But when she made it to her feet on the other side of the ring, River took off towards her at top speed. Kyle yanked his client out of the ring by her feet to the floor with him, causing River to stop herself before she hit the corner. The referee immediately started yelling at him as River went to grab him through the ropes until Stacey rolled back inside. She caught Campbell with a low blow behind the official’s back before using an O’Conner roll for the cover!
Kevin: She’s gonna steal it! DON’T LET IT HAPPEN!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!
Vee: And Stacey’s going to be---WHAT?!
River’s shoulder came up in time, and Stacey got back to her feet with a glare for the referee. She started walking Rocca down, and cornered her as she insisted that was a three count.
Vee: Go ahead and hit her, Stacey. We all know that was a three count right there, she’s just a River fangirl!
Rocca stood her ground, and insisted it was just a two and reminded her who the referee was if she wanted to win the match. As soon as the former cheerleader spun around, River clobbered her with her clothesline finisher! The referee dove out of the way to avoid the collision before Campbell went for the cover.
Kevin: RAGIN’ RIVER!!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Vee: She shouldn’t count that! That stupid referee distracted Stacey, and set her up for that!!
Rocca raised River’s hand as she got back to her feet, and the fans in the arena gave her their full support. Campbell leaned over to catch her breath as the announcement was made official.
John: Your winner of the match…………….RIVER CAMPBELL!!!
Vee: That should NOT have happened. Stacey was distracted that whole time with the referee, and it allowed River a chance to get her finisher!
Kevin: Stacey should have stayed on task rather than try to intimidate the senior official. It’s all moot now, because River has earned herself a Defiance title match in grand fashion tonight at Aggression!
River ducked out to the floor and slapped hands with a few of the fans. Kyle tended to Stacey as River patted her waist, telling the camera it was time for some new gold as Aggression faded to black.

John: The opening contest of Aggression is scheduled for one fall to a finish, and the winner will challenge for the Aggression Championship at Climax!
The lights go out as if a sudden blackout has struck the venue, and as the lyrics come up, the audience grabs their glow sticks, lighting up the arena like a rave party waiting to happen!
Starships were meant to fly Hands up and touch the sky Can't stop, 'cause we so high Let's do this one more time!
Coming from the back, still amidst the total darkness, someone wearing LED-powered shoes, arms covered in glow stick bracelets and LED sunglasses that glow like a panel, showing things like the volume of the music and messages like "DJ LAINE" and "GLOW STICKS OUT". She stops atop the entrance ramp and, holding her arms out, she lets the chorus of the song continue.
Starships were meant to fly Hands up and touch the sky Let's do this one last time Can't stop…
The LED sunglasses show the message "LET'S GOOO!"
We higher than a motherf--
And in an explosion of light, as the HARDEST of beats kicks in, light strobes of all colors flash around the arena, turning it into a big rave party! The individual in the LED glasses is obviously the Finnish DJ Reiha Laine, who's quickly joined by Christian Kincaid who comes from the back to support his client, as she breaks out some breakdance moves atop the entrance stage before she dances her way down the ramp, sharing a high-five with some fans.
John: Introducing first, escorted to the ring by Christian Kincaid... From Helsinki, Finland... She's the "DANCING KICKBOXER"... D! J! LAINE!!!
She stops right before the ring, taking her time to reach for the steps and climbing them, stepping into the ring by vaulting over the top rope. Once inside there, she busts out some more breakdance moves, that end with her making her way to the ropes facing the hard camera, opening her arms for the crowd before she throws her fedora and the headset around her neck to the crowd before jumping down. From there, she removes the fluff around her boots and gets ready for her match.
Kevin: The DJ could be moments away from getting herself a shot at the new Aggression Champion, but she has her work cut out for her. Who do you think Ashley would prefer to face if she could pick?
Vee: I don’t think she cares. Ashley knows she can mop up the floor with either this bimbo or the one who is about to come out next.
Dressed in provocative ring gear, that shows of her figure to perfection, she stands with one hand on her hip.
Kevin: Nadia would love to hold her first singles title in her career, just like her best friend accomplished already. I think the DJ is gonna be able to match her speed for speed though.
Vee: I’m glad they are both fast paced wrestlers, because maybe that will mean the match will be over faster and we can get to the ones I want to see.
Referee Billy Phelps calls for the bell to start the match, and both women shake hands first before they lock up in the center of the ring. The DJ surprises Nadia though by breaking it, and immediately going for a drop toe hold. It sends the blonde down, but she pops right back up immediately and turns into a flurry of forearms from the veteran that drives her backwards into the ropes. Laine whips her across to the far side, and follows her with a running shoulder block that sends her back into the ropes again. A trio of chops lands on Nadia’s chest before a hip toss sends her to a seat on the canvas followed by a dropkick to her back. Reiha quickly applies a side headlock as Nadia gets back to her feet.
Kevin: If you blinked, you missed something there! These two women move like greased lightning, and Reiha got the better of the advantage there.
Vee: You think maybe Nadia put in a little too much of that cheap hair dye? Might have soaked through to her brain.
Nadia tries to free herself quickly from the side headlock by attempting to shove the DJ off into the ropes. It didn’t work at first, but three shots into her lower back did the trick before she shot her off to the far side. Laine rebounded quickly, and looked to be going for a bicycle kick on the rebound. But Beaulieu caught her foot, and yanked her forward into a t-bone suplex. Laine popped back up, only to catch a roundhouse kick to the chest that sent her backwards. Nadia quickly followed up with a spinning backfist to the jaw before scooping Laine into a falcon’s arrow and then a cover!
Kevin: You can’t afford to blink in this one, and Nadia’s looking for the promised land!
ONE!!!
T-NO!
Reiha kicked out as the two count was about to hit the mat, and the French beauty pulled her back to her feet. She whipped her into the nearest corner, and followed her in with a corner clothesline before leaving her feet to deliver a snap DDT on the DJ.
Vee: Did these two have a couple energy drinks before they came out here? This is ridiculous.
Nadia got back to her feet, and hopped onto the second turnbuckle from the inside. A diving elbow drop resulted from that, only for the DJ to roll out of the way. The blonde clutched her elbow in pain as Laine got back to her feet, snatching her from behind into a German suplex. Beaulieu had barely gotten to her feet before Laine snapped two more in a row, and then rolled back to her feet. She took off towards the ropes, and pasted Nadia with a running European uppercut that staggered her backwards before landing her jumping roundhouse kick. It floored the former tag champion before Laine went for the cover with a leg hook.
Kevin: She calls that the BUTTERFLY KICK!! It might be over!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
T-NO.
Nadia kicked out at two, and the musician popped back to her feet. She dragged Nadia up by the arm with her, once more peppering her with forearms to the side of her head. A hard whip into the far corner saw Nadia crash back first before a handspring back elbow from Laine put her down on the mat.
Vee: If one of them had a tire iron while they were doing all this flippy crap, the match would have been over by now, I think.
The DJ hopped back to her feet, waiting for Nadia to get up as well before she grabbed her head and took off towards the ropes. She went for a springboard bulldog, but Beaulieu shoved her off. The Finnish wrestler stopped before she hit the ropes, and turned around into a codebreaker from Nadia that saw them both hit the mat for a few seconds. Phelps began his ten count immediately.
Kevin: It was bound to happen sooner or later.. Even with the stamina of these two women, all those high impact moves catch up with you after a while.
Vee: And getting dropped on your head a lot when there’s already so little up there to begin with doesn’t help either of them.
It was Nadia who began to get up first, but the Finnish brunette wasn’t far behind her. The blonde caught her with a running kneelift to send her backwards before she whipped the DJ across for the ride. Nadia took off towards her on the rebound with a leaping blockbuster that dropped her to the mat. Beaulieu headed for the corner to climb up, peering between her legs for a half second before launching into a moonsault that landed perfectly on target before she hooked the leg for the cover.
Vee: French bimbos really can fly!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THR-NOO!!
Kevin: There was barely a heartbeat between the referee’s count and Nadia going to Climax!
Laine got her shoulder off the mat in time before the three, and Nadia started back to her feet. She wasn’t moving as quickly now, but headed for the corner again. However, Reiha was up to her feet quickly, popping her head between Nadia’s legs as she was climbing and dropping backwards with an electric chair! She immediately dove across her for the cover as Phelps dropped to count.
Kevin: The bottom dropped out, and the DJ is gonna meet Ashley on the biggest stage in SVW!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEE-NOO!!!
Nadia’s shoulder came up off the mat, and Reiha quickly got to her feet. She gave the sign for her finisher before darting for the corner. She whipped Nadia into the farthest corner before launching towards her.
Vee: I think we’re gonna hear some cheap implants pop in the bimbo’s chest in about two seconds!!
Laine left her feet, but Nadia bolted out of the way. The DJ hit the corner instead, and the French beauty vaulted up the corner as the DJ stumbled away. When Laine turned around, that’s when Nadia landed her dragonrana finisher and rolled through for the cover!
Kevin: Brilliant counter, there’s COTE OPPOSE!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
Phelps called for the bell to a pop from the crowd. Nadia was trying to catch her breath as she got back to her feet, and had her hand raised by the referee.
Vee: Well what do you know? A blind squirrel does find a nut once in a while!
John: Your winner and now the #1 contender for the Aggression Championship…….NADIA BEAULIEU!!
Kevin: Fantastic match, and an even more stirring victory for Nadia! Now at Climax, she’ll give Ashley Marie Chase one of the possibly shortest title reigns in SVW history!
Nadia helped the DJ back to her feet, shaking hands with her again before the blonde rolled out to the floor with a bright smile on her face.
Vee: Some wishful thinking on your part. Ashley will be more than ready for Paris Barbie at Climax. Don’t worry about that.
The French beauty headed up the ramp towards the back to much love from the fans as the show went elsewhere in the arena. The Star Distraction Arrives At Climax

Live from the Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City, Utah November 15, 2021The SVW logo is shown on the front of a drum before the shot pulls back to see a full set of equipment like you’d see at a rock band show. There’s even a microphone set up as Gwen Margolis wanders onto the stage. She glances around to see if anyone’s watching before grabbing the microphone, and suddenly she has the Struts playing behind her as “Body Talks” begins to play. Your eyes follow like a spotlight Two eyes like the sun Go ahead, keep your distance from me Soon you're gonna comeThe show cuts to see Anna Cortez delivering a cyclorama, Elizabeth Lannister stepping out onto the stage with her arms out. Then there’s Luther Thunder nailing his superkick, followed by Ashley Marie Chase tapping her chin and looking over her shoulder to Kyle. Colby is shown nailing his WMD finisher in the next shot before we go back to the empty stage again. This time, it’s DJ ReAL on the microphone with the band playing behind her. When you flick your hair like you don't care And you're asking where I'm from That game that you're running baby You've already wonThe next shot changes to the Wicked Storm taking off towards the ring with Vee following along behind them. Kelly Kincaid is shown landing a shooting star press. Raven Knight is seen setting a ladder on fire. Bianca Reed glances over her shoulder at the camera, tipping her sunglasses down her nose before we cut back to the band again. Now we find Claire and Serafina of KO/TO on stage singing with the band. I need to know, know, know What do ya need, need, need? What do ya like, like, like? Because I'm going to be it tonightAs the girls sing with the band, the show goes live inside the arena to a roaring crowd as pyrotechnics erupt from the stage and the ring posts. The song blasts through the PA system, with the crowd showing a lot of enthusiasm as they wave their signs. The next shot takes us to the commentary booth with Kevin and Vee. Kevin: With Climax only 2 weeks away on SVW Unlimited, you’re watching the final Aggression of 2021. Kevin and Vee here, and we got a stacked show with a lot of implications lined up. That includes our main event for the #1 contendership for the Defiance title when the former Adrenaline and Aggression champions meet: Stacey Sky and River Campbell. Vee: I’m putting all the money on Stacey Sky. I think she’s going to clobber River like a baby seal tonight. And what a wonderful match it would be for her to face Cross! Now there’s two people small children can emulate. Kevin: Uh huh. We have a second generation star ready for his debut as well. Kevin MacNamara meets the “Lioness” of the Gold Standard, Elizabeth Lannister. He said he wanted to meet a member of the Gold Standard at some point, but I doubt he thought it’d be his debut. Vee: That’s because he’s dumb. Who makes their debut and runs their mouth already wanting to face the most successful faction in all of SVW? Yup, that’s Emma’s kid, alright. Kevin: We’ll also crown the challenger for Ashley Marie Chase’s Aggression Championship at Climax when DJ Laine faces off against Nadia Beaulieu. That’s gonna be a fast paced affair, to say the least. Vee: That’ll also be when I’m hoping for the giant meteor to land. I don’t give a crap about either one of them, other than to say I hope they wreck each other. Then Ashley can pick up the scraps at Climax. Kevin: I’m sure you hold the same place in their hearts as they do for you. Aggression ends the year with a show that could be a Pay Per View, if you ask me. So let’s get it started, and send it up to the World’s Most Dapper Ring Announcer. Vee: Who’s that? The camera changes to the ring, and there we find John Youle dressed to the nines as usual before he begins the first set of introductions. John: The opening match of Aggression is scheduled for one fall to a finish!
“Life Changes” starts up on the speakers, dousing the arena in green and white light. From the back comes Kevin MacNamara, to cheers from fans. A black leather duster covers his top half, and a pair of green tights on his legs. He looks around him, taking in what’s going on in the arena, before heading down to the ring. He goes for it at a run, sliding under the bottom rope when he gets there.
John: On his way to the ring from Fort Lauderdale, Florida by way of Glasgow, Scotland! Weighing 180 lbs, please welcome KEVIIIIIIIIN MACNAMARAAAAAAAAA!
Kevin pops to his feet and spins slowly in a circle as he reaches the middle of the ring. He heads to his corner, and stands on the middle turnbuckle. He removes the duster and drops it to a ringside attendant, then hops off to the floor. He bounces on the balls of his feet as the music fades out.
Vee: You know, I already don’t like this kid. There’s something about him, maybe it’s the fact he thinks he belongs in the ring with the Gold Standard.
Kevin: When did he say that? He just said facing Lacey is a goal, and isn’t every wrestler’s goal to face the top champion of a promotion?
As the fans sit in their seats in anticipation of what is to come, they are greeted by the lights dimming. A brilliant golden spotlight focuses on the stage as the opening strains of “Massive Addictive” by Amaranthe begin to play.
“Give me purity, strength and affection Give me lust to ignite my devotion for life It's where beauty comes alive Can't you see I'm a slave to the darkness Cutting down And I know I have done this before As I stare into the wall And now it's time to let it shine Cause don't you know I'm addicted”
The curtains to rustle a bit before the dapper figure of one Kyle Kilmeade emerges from the back, his ever present smirk etched on his face. He steps out onto the stage and glances at either side of the stage at the crowd before stepping to the side, holding out his hand to the curtain. Out from the back emerges the beautiful Elizabeth Lannister. Stepping out onto the stage, she takes Kyle’s outstretched hand and promptly twirls around slowly, showing off the intricate work on her robe. Dropping his hand, Elizabeth nods and starts to walk down the aisle, Kyle walking in stride next to her.
“Massive addictive And suddenly I'm greatly affected Like burning fire inside My cyanide Scared of losing my mind Massive addictive I'm totally completely afflicted As I inspire the lie like a lullaby Crawling around in my mind My mind”
The pair slowly make their way down the aisle, Elizabeth’s gold and red robe flowing with each step she took, completely ignoring the fans on either side of her. As the pair walk, the spotlight changes so that the entire arena is soon engulfed in gold light.
John: Ladies and gentlemen, making her way to the ring, being accompanied by her manager Kyle Kilmeade…..from Scottsdale, Arizona…’THE LIONESS’ ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!
Once she reaches the ring she begins to climb the steel steps, with Kyle hopping up onto the apron and holding the ropes open for her. She carefully climbs through the opened ropes and steps into the middle of the ring, flipping her hair over her shoulders and sticking her arms out to the sides, her head tilted back, a confident smirk etched on her angelic features. She then returns her head to it’s normal position and unclasps her robe, shrugging it off as Kyle reaches forward to carefully hand it to a nearby stagehand. She then moves her arms back and forth to loosen up as the lights return to normal and the music begins to fade out.
Vee: It doesn’t matter who he thinks he’d like to face, because Elizabeth is going to clean his clock for him in his debut.
Kevin: I seriously doubt it’s going to be that lopsided in either direction. But he is going to find a major difference between training and sparring and what he’s about to face in there with the “Lioness” of the Gold Standard.
Rudy Palmer was the referee in charge and asked the two wrestlers if they were ready, getting an enthusiastic nod and thumbs up from Kevin while Elizabeth looked at him in bemusement and disdain exchanging a couple more words with her manager before finally telling the referee that they should get this over with already. The official called for the bell and immediately Kevin charged across the ring like he was shot out of a cannon and caught the Lioness in the corner with a running spinning European uppercut to the jaw. A second and third followed before he brought her out of the corner with a monkey flip. Lannister hit the mat and immediately rolled to the side, coming to her feet only for MacNamara to springboard off the ropes into a side kick to his opponent’s head, dropping her down to the mat.
Kevin: It’s still early in this match, but I have to give my fellow Kevin some credit. He’s doing very well so far.
Vee: I think Elizabeth is being too kind with him. It’s something the Gold Standard is known for after all: benevolence.
Again Lannister rose quickly and before she could react the debutant came off the ropes and caught her with a running knee to the midriff delivered with such velocity that it flipped the blonde over, causing her to land on the mat. Again Elizabeth sat up and started to rise back to her feet, Kevin cutting her off this time as he jerked her head down into a single knee facebreaker. It saw the Arizona native stagger backwards a couple of steps, holding her face and before she could recover, MacNamara skipped and unloaded with a stinging knife edge chop across her chest. Three more followed as he backed her into the ring ropes before he fired her across the ring, catching her on her return with a leaping clothesline that put her down on the mat.
Kevin: Kevin’s been in training for some time preparing for his pro debut, and I imagine the butterflies are flying around like mad in his stomach tonight.
Vee: As well they should. This kid should be carrying the bags of the Wicked Storm, not in there with a woman the caliber of Elizabeth Lannister.
Once more the Gold Standard member rolled to the side and pushed upwards to try and get to her feet but was again stopped in her track as she got to one knee thanks to a shining wizard from Kevin. It dropped the Lioness back to the mat as Kevin landed on his feet and once more took off towards ropes, bouncing off them and coming back to launch himself into a senton across her body before he leaned back across her chest and reached over to hook a leg for the cover.
Kevin: He’s looking to put her away right now!
One…
Tw-
Vee: Tell him I said he could keep looking.
Lannister kicked out and rolled to the side as Kevin kipped up to his feet and shouted out to the crowd before he started to stomp his foot. Elizabeth came back to her feet and as she turned towards the debuting wrestler, MacNamara skipped forwards and went to fire off the KLM superkick to her jaw only for Lannister to catch his foot before it connected. He hopped on one foot for a moment before the Lioness swept his standing leg with her foot, sending him hard down to the canvas, keeping hold of his foot as he did so. Immediately she began to lay kicks into the back of his thigh. Palmer told the Gold Standard member to let him up to his feet and started the count, getting to four before Lannister planted her foot and snapped his leg to the side. Kevin rolled away, holding the back of his leg and started to get back to his feet only to once more get taken down to the canvas as the Lioness took his legs out from underneath him with a chop block.
Vee: Take out both of his knees, Elizabeth. Make this his first and last match in the sport.
Kevin: This kid has done nothing to you or even given you the side eye. What’s your issue here?
Again Kevin started to come back to his feet quickly, holding his leg but as he did so Elizabeth again went back after the leg, grabbing hold of it and taking the teenager down to the mat with a dragon screw leg whip. She kept hold of the leg as she rolled through and came back to her feet. Again she fired off four quick kicks into the back of his thigh before she stepped through and applied a spinning toe hold to her opponent. MacNamara has a look of immense discomfort on his face but refused to quit as the referee asked him the question, choosing instead to twist and turn his body this way and that in an effort to try and reach the ring ropes but found they were out of reach. Lannister torqued and wrenched on the hold further, causing Kevin to lie flat on his back, pulling at his face with both hands for a moment. Again Lannister applied further pressure, telling the debutant to quit. He refused again as the referee asked the question once more and this time he brought his free leg up and started to lash out at the blonde, driving his boot into her jaw three times before she released the hold and stepped away, holding her chin.
Vee: I wouldn’t blame Elizabeth if she was taking this little brat lightly. I mean I’d tell my girls to do that.
Kevin: I don’t think she’s going to do that though. If anything, she’ll probably want to prove how much he doesn’t belong in there with her.
Kevin started to struggle back to his feet, Lannister watching him and as he made it up to one knee she took off towards the ropes, bouncing off them and caught him with a yakuza kick to the side of his jaw. MacNamara stumbled as he tried to stay upright, turning away from the Lioness who took full advantage as she yanked him downwards into a reverse sitout facebuster, bouncing the back of his head off the mat as she did so. Kevin sat up, holding the back of his head for a couple of moments before he found himself flattened back to the mat once more as the Gold Standard member popped up to her feet, stepped past him and drove a back kick into his face, following it up with an elbow drop to his chest before she made the cover.
Vee: Ha! Closest he’s ever going to get to having a beautiful woman on him!
One…
Two-
Kevin: Just a two count. And again, he’s said and done nothing to you.
Kevin kicked out as the two hit the mat and quickly Lannister floated over into the mount position where she began to pound away with rights and lefts as MacNamara covered up while Palmer called for the break and started the count. Lannister rolled away, pulling her opponent up to his feet as she did so and Irish whipped him into the corner. Quickly she charged in after him and caught him with a running clothesline in the corner before she lifted his right leg - the one that she had been targeting - and fed it around the middle rope, pulling up on his ankle to put pressure on his knee and thigh. Again the referee called for the break and started the count, getting to four before Elizabeth stepped away, hands raised only to grab hold of the top rope where she started to fire off kicks into the middle rope and thigh of the teenager. Again Palmer called for the break and used the count, getting to four before the Gold Standard member stepped away once more only to drive a trio of knife edge chops into his chest before she finally granted the officials wishes and brought the debuting wrestler out of the corner with a Japanese arm drag.
Vee: Even on paper, I don’t think this kid has any advantages over Elizabeth other than weight. But it’s not like he uses it.
Kevin: What do you mean he doesn’t use it? He’s light on his feet because he likes to get airborne, that’s using it.
Kevin hit the mat and rolled through and came back to his feet only for Lannister to skip forwards and catch him with a roundhouse kick that dropped him down to one knee. As he did so, the Lionness hooked his head and drove him into the mat with a DDT. Quickly the Gold Standard member kipped up to her feet and took off across the ring, bouncing off the ropes and came back to deliver a backsplash to the teenager, leaning back to make the cover as she did so.
Vee: Now that’s a proper cover for this dweeb.
One…
Two…
Kevin: And it’s just a---WAIT!
Quickly Kevin rolled over and countered into a crucifix pinning combination.
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Kevin: Oh, he almost caught her right there! She might just be taking him lightly!
Elizabeth kicked out and looked to the referee, a look of relief turning to one of murder as she saw the two and then turned back to Kevin. As the teenager made it to his feet, Lannister caught him with a forearm to the side of his face before she spun him around and went to launch him with a release German suplex. MacNamara adjusted in midair to land on his feet behind her, taking a step and a half to find his balance as Lannister came back to her feet and turned towards Kevin who caught her with a bicycle knee strike to the underside of her jaw, Lannister staggered backwards, catching herself against the ropes as Kevin grabbed the back of his leg for a moment before he came forwards quickly and hopped up onto the middle rope to catch Lannister with a enzuigiri to the side of her head. The Lioness stumbled forwards away from the ropes while Kevin pulled himself back to a vertical base and used the ring ropes to springboard into a two handed bulldog, slamming her face first into the mat.
Kevin: Kevin’s really got a lot high impact offense. It’s clear to me that he’s been taught pretty well by Emma’s husband and Christian.
Vee: Hey now, there’s another reason not to like him. He was co-trained by the network troubleshooter.
Quickly Kevin floated through and locked in a front facelock to the blonde, locking it in tightly. Slowly the Arizona born grappler started to try and push upright but only made it to all fours before MacNamara used his leg strength to push off against the canvas to gator roll her across the ring and then back again. Elizabeth tried to pull away her foes hands away from around her head as she tried to once more began to rise, Kevin pulling her upwards as she did so and started to fire off knees into her body before he lifted her off her feet into a snap suplex. Elizabeth sat up and as she did so, Kevin quickly rolled up to one knee and locked in a straitjacket hold to her, pressing his knee against her spine as he did so. The Gold Standard member struggled in the hold, trying to jerk and yank her arms free of his grip with no joy.
Kevin: Elizabeth is snared right now,a nd trying to find a way out of this. Kevin’s showna great grasp of the fundamentals.
Vee: Give it a rest, would you? He’s hanging on by the skin of his teeth, that’s it.
Lannister let out a strangled growl of frustration as Kevin leaned back a little, pulling further on her arms in the straitjacket hold. Still she continued to try and yank her arms free even as she planted her feet and started to push upwards to get to her feet only for Kevin to use the straitjacket hold to jerk her down to the mat with a cross-armed neckbreaker. Lannister rolled to the side, holding her neck for a moment and Kevin once more came to his feet, feeling the back of his leg as he did so. He headed for the corner and pushed up onto the middle rope launching himself off and into a leg drop across the back of Elizabeth’s head as she made it to all fours. Kevin once more came up to his feet and pumped both his fists, encouraging the crowd to get loud and as Elizabeth pushed back up to all fours once again, the debuting wrestler hooked her leg and rolled her over into a magistral cradle pinning attempt.
Kevin: Oh, he’s gonna wrap her up right here for a massive upset!
One…
Two…
...THR--
Vee: That is NOT going to happen
Lannister kicked out, landing on her knees as she did as Kevin rolled over onto his back, reaching up to hook her head and pulled her straight back down into an inside cradle pinning attempt.
Vee: Give it up, you little nerd!
One…
Two…
...THRE---
Kevin: Another near fall for Kevin MacNamara! He’s showing a lot of great instincts.
Lannister again kicked out before the three and rolled away, coming to her knees as Kevin came to her feet and held his fingers up, pinching them close together as he told the Lioness that he was that close to picking up the win on his debut. It got him a glare from the Gold Standard member which he replied by waving her the rest of the way to her feet. As soon as she got upright, Kevin charged towards her looking to catch her with a clothesline which saw Elizabeth duck beneath the attempt. MacNamara continued on towards the ropes, hopping up onto the middle strand and springboarding backwards into a crossbody block...which saw him crash down into the canvas as the Lioness dropped down to her front to avoid the contact.
Vee: Ahahahahaha!! That reminded me of those Road Runner cartoons where the coyote ran into a wall.
Kevin: I guess we know the kind of television you spend your time watching.
The debuting teenager started to push up to his feet, holding his chest as he did so only for Elizabeth to lock in an abdominal stretch. The referee got into position and asked Kevin if he wanted to quit, getting a ‘No’ as Lannister began to drive elbows into the side of his ribcage, grinding the point of the joint into his ribs before delivering another barrage of elbow blows into his side. Again the referee asked the teenager if he wanted to submit, getting a ‘No, NEVER’ from him which saw the Gold Standard member punish him again with another volley of elbows, following that up with a trio of clubbing forearms to the side of his head. As the third blow landed she released the abdominal stretch and transitioned into a pumphandle slam that drove him down into the mat. Quickly she stepped to the side and started to stomp away at his knee and thigh, landing four before she dropped to her knees and used her hands to pin his leg against the canvas, kicking up into the air to deliver a trio of knee drops into his leg and knee.
Vee: I love watching Elizabeth dissect this kid. She’s so good at it too.
Kevin: There’s no one more effective at what she does than the “Lioness”, no question about that.
As she released her grip on his leg, Kevin rolled to the side, holding his knee and leg but it was only a momentary respite for him before the technical specialist grabbed hold of his legs and twisted them around her own to apply an inverted figure four leglock, applying further pressure to his knee and leg. Kevin pulled at his hair, holding his face with his hands and again shook his head in refusal as the official asked him if he wanted to quit. The Lioness sat up with a smile on her face and started to hammer a closed fist into his knee in the hold, telling him to quit as she did so. Still he refused to submit as the referee asked again, starting to pull himself forwards towards the ropes by clawing at the ring canvas. Lannister did everything that she could to apply more pressure and do more damage to his right leg as Kevin slowly pulled them forwards, inching closer and closer towards the ring ropes. Finally he managed to reach out and grab the bottom rope. Immediately the referee called for the break, the Lioness keeping the hold applied while Palmer counted, reaching four before she let go and rolled away.
Vee: Only a loser has to get to the ropes, Kevin. Look who I’m talking to.
Kevin: So that means all the times I saw the Storm get to the ropes, they were losers too? Gotcha.
MacNamara used the ropes to pull himself up to his feet and leaned back against him, reaching for his knee as he did so only for Lannister to catch him with a spinning backfist to the side of his jaw. He went to stop away, hobbling slightly as he favoured his right leg only for the Gold Standard member to jerk him towards her and into a release belly to belly suplex, hurling him down to the canvas. Kevin went to come back to his feet but could only rise slowly as he held his thigh and knee. When he made it upright, Lannister stepped towards him quickly and left her feet, grabbing hold of his arm as she yanked the teenager downwards into a codebreaker. Kevin bounced off her knees and was quickly pulled down to the canvas where the Lioness locked in a fujiwara arm bar, pushing up onto her toes to apply as much pressure as she could to the arm. Kevin shook his head as he squirmed in the hold, trying to pull himself free to no avail as she pulled back further on his arm.
Vee: Just give it up, kid. We can all see you’re hopelessly outclassed. I don’t care if you are Emma’s brat.
Kevin: If you want to keep talking smack about his mom, I’m sure she’d be happy to give you the chance to say it to her face.
MacNamara tried to jerk his arm free yet again but found it firmly gripped by his opponent. Still he refused to submit, even as he pulled at his hair once more before planting his hand on the canvas and tried to move himself towards the ring ropes. Again Lannister leaned back further applying more pressure, causing the debuting teenager’s hand to waver over the mat, letting out a cry of pain as the referee asked him if he wanted to quit but managed to shake his head in refusal. He let out another determined cry, pushing up again from the mat and moved a little further to the side before he kicked out his foot and hooked it over the bottom rope. The referee again called for the break and was forced into using the count. The Lioness milked it for everything that she could, releasing it just a moment before she would be disqualified.
Kevin: Elizabeth definitely doesn’t want to be disqualified tonight. But I don’t think she was ever in real danger of letting it happen.
Vee: Of course not. She’s a technical savant, and she has a fantastic manager who I’d say is about on par with me.
Kevin: Oh, that’s high praise there.
Elizabeth rolled away, coming to her feet as she did so and backed up across the ring as Kevin stayed in the ropes, holding his arm. The Gold Standard member playing to the crowd for a couple of seconds, causing them to boo her loudly as she waved the teenager upright. As he made it upright, Lannister charged towards him, lowering her shoulder as she looked to catch him with a spear. MacNamara saw it coming at the last moment and leapt into the air against the ropes; the Gold Standard member stopping herself before she went through them which saw Kevin land on her back and quickly flipped forwards to drive her down into the canvas with a Yoshi Tonic, holding the sunset flip powerbomb for the cover.
Kevin: Wow, where did that come from?!
One…
Two…
...THRE--
Vee: It doesn’t matter where it came from, because it didn’t go anywhere.
Lannister clapped her legs together around his head to break up the pinfall and he rolled away, holding his thigh with a look of pain on his face as he used the ropes to come back to his feet in the corner. Elizabeth was already back to her feet and once more charged towards him, only for the teenager to step out of the way at the last moment and give her a little extra shove in the back to send her chest first into the corner. The Lioness staggered backwards and as she did, MacNamara springboarded off the ropes towards her and caught her with a cutter that drove her down into the canvas. Kevin took a moment or two to rub his leg with one hand as he swung his other arm to try and get the blood flowing before he came back to his feet, where he measured up the rising Gold Standard member and darted towards her, catching her as she came back to her feet with a headscissors DDT. As it landed, Kevin once more grabbed the back of his leg for a half second before he rolled onto his front and lunged to throw himself over Lannister’s body.
Kevin: That’s his mom’s favorite there...PLAYING WITH SCISSORS!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vee: And it didn’t get him jack either, did it? Emma should have taught him a winning move.
The Gold Standard member rolled her shoulder to break up the pinning combination and Kevin sat up and looked towards the referee, holding up three fingers towards Palmer hopefully. It only got the teenager a shake of the head as the official confirmed the two, telling him the shoulder came up in time. The teenager gave him an ‘aww c’mon’ look for a second or two before he accepted the count and came back to his feet as the Lioness began to rise. The moment Elizabeth was upright, Kevin began to lay into her with a collection of stiff forearm shots before he pulled her forwards and into a hangman’s neckbreaker, dropping her to the mat. Lannister rolled to the side holding her neck as Kevin sat up, rubbing his arm and then grinned as he came to his feet and headed towards his foe, pulling her upwards and gave the sign to the crowd for the Lights Out Lotto tilt-a-whirl neckbreaker...but before he could deliver the move, Lannister raked her nails down his face.
Vee: That’ll stop you no matter what you have in mind, Kevin. Reach over here and I’ll show you.
Kevin: I wouldn’t want you to mess up those press-on nails.
Kevin staggered backwards as the referee tried to reprimand Elizabeth who ignored the official, stepping forwards and throwing a reverse roundhouse kick - the Kingslayer - to the side of MacNamara’s face. His legs immediately turned to jelly beneath him, struggling to stay upright. Lannister took full advantage as she spun her foe around, lifted her up and drove him into the mat face first with #HearMeRoar wheelbarrow facebuster. Kyle applauded her, encouraging her to go for the pin only for the blonde to shake her head as she came to her feet, grabbing hold of Kevin by his hair and pulling him upright. His legs almost gave way the moment that she had him back on his feet, the teenager leaning forwards against her for support. The Lioness shook her head with a look of disgust on her face as she grabbed him around the neck, hooked his leg and drove him down into the mat with the Debt Fulfilled swinging leg hook fireman’s carry slam. She made the cover, hooking the leg loosely as she did so.
Vee: DEBT FULFILLED! Thanks for coming, brat!

...THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kevin: Lannister seals the deal, and might have gotten more of a fight than she was expecting tonight at Aggression.
The referee called for the bell as Lannister came back to her feet and dusted off her hands as Kevin rolled to the side, holding his arm and leg as he did so. Kyle entered the ring as Palmer raised Elizabeth’s hand in the air.
John: Here is your winner, by way of pinfall… “THE LIONESS” ELIZABETH LANNISTER!!!
Vee: Congratulations, Elizabeth. Now can we get her deserving opponents preferably with titles?
Kevin: I’m positive Kyle is working on that. Elizabeth scores the win, and we got a great look at someone who is likely to be a big star one day in Kevin MacNamara.
The crowd booed loudly as Kyle raised Lannisters hand in the air, Kevin starting to slowly sit up as the Gold Standard member left the ring and headed towards the back, celebrating her victory. The crowd booed her loudly as the show cut elsewhere.Climax PreviewAfter a commercial for the upcoming SVW Unlimited event, Climax, the show returns to the arena and we find the network troubleshooter on the stage. Christian gets a warm reception as he buffs his plastic sheriff’s badge and then takes a microphone. Christian: How’s it going, Salt Lake City? A pop follows, as you might expect. Christian: I’m sure I don’t have to tell you guys this, but the biggest event on the SVW calendar is two weeks from tonight on SVW Unlimited. I’m referring to Climax, and this is a show where yours truly has booked every match on it. So I want to give you the full rundown, so you can go sign up for SVW Unlimited if you haven’t. Either that or clear your night in two weeks for the biggest night of the year in SVW. The video wall behind him comes to life to show the matches as he speaks. Christian: We’re gonna be in my backyard for the show at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. I already announced the main event where Lacey will face Scarlett Kincaid for the SVW Championship. And the Gold Standard rule is in effect, all of them are barred from ringside! Who do we like in that one? The fans start chanting for Scarlett, to the surprise of no one. Christian: I’m also booking a Defiance Championship when the big man, the “Alpha” Eric Cross faces Vivi Traeger. They both seem like they’d like to take the other down, and no better place than Climax with the title up for grabs, right? The winner of that match is gonna face the winner of tonight’s main event in the new year: either River Campbell or “Sensational” Stacey Sky. A “Vivi!” chant begins to echo through the Vivint Arena. Christian: The tag titles will also be on the line. The illuminati PROJEKT have been very patient in waiting for their shot, and they are going to have it at the Moda Center. They’ll challenge Missy and Kelly for the gold on the biggest stage in SVW. The graphic pops up behind him, causing chants for both teams to start rumbling. Christian: Ryan Sheffield has gone out of his way to make sure that Paul James doesn’t get to use his Midas Touch contract. At Climax, he will face the “Fat Cheetah” one on one, and I’m guessing Paul is gonna go through Ryan like a cut of fillet mignon. The fans agree with that. Christian: And lastly for the Aggression title? The winner of the next match is going to challenge Ashley Marie Chase at Climax for the title. Whether it be DJ ReAL or Nadia Beaulieu, Ashley’s gonna be in for a very long night at Climax. All in all, this is one of the most star-studded editions of Climax ever! And I’ve been to all of them, so make sure you join us on SVW Unlimited two weeks from tonight. The show then cuts to an ad for the SVW merchandise site before going to a full commercial break.

Aggression returns from the commercial break back to the ring, and John’s set to begin the introductions.
John: The following tag team contest is the Aggression main event, and it is scheduled for one fall to a finish!
Vee: I’d like to go ahead and state how unfair I think this match is for the Gold Standard. Both of them in this match don’t even equal one of their opponents in the size department.
Kevin: Well that’ll give them a decided speed advantage then, wouldn’t it? Besides there are no weight divisions in SVW. This isn’t boxing.
As “I Go Hard” by Wiz Khalifa starts to play, Colby Morrison heads to the top of the entrance ramp; the hood of his sweatshirt up as he stands there with his head lowered. For a moment there’s a big toothy grin showing his pearly whites before it fades and becomes a lot more serious. As the song plays the man starts to head toward the ring his head bobbing from side to side to the music, giving any pretty ladies in the crowd a small smile. Getting to the ring he steps up onto the apron, pulling the sweatshirt up over his head and tosses it into the ring before he poses for the fans, showing off his muscled torso before stepping over the top rope and into the ring.
John: Welcome to the ring, standing 6’8” tall, weighing 290 lbs and hailing from Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada….COLBY MORRISON!!!
Kevin: One of my favorite stars to watch in SVW, Colby Morrison has a pretty long history with his tag partner, usually on the opposite side of the ring from him.
Vee: None of it good enough to make a tag team. How do you expect them to work together after they’ve only beat each other senseless through the years whenever they are in the ring together?
Kevin: That’s because they don’t have any hostilities towards one another that I’m aware of.
“Spit shine” by Xzibit starts to play out from the PA with thick bass and the monstrous black man shows up wearing all black, making his way down to the ring with heavy steps, rubbing his palms together a hint of smirk across his face.
John: On his way to the ring standing 6’6 tall weighing 450 pounds The Fat Cheetah, Paul James!
Kevin: After what Ryan Sheffield did to him at Rampage, I hope the big man’s ankle is healed up. After all, Ryan dented a crowbar on Paul’s ankle.
Vee: There’s no way it’s healed up 100% in that short of a time. I’m positive the Gold Standard will target it too.
Kevin: Stacey Sky had a historic reign as the Adrenaline Champion, and she’s proven how damn good she really is well beyond anyone’s expectations.
Vee: For once, we agree on something. Stacey was my favorite Adrenaline Champion...right behind Kristina, of course.
John: Making her way to the ring at this time,.....Your reigning SVW Champion…..LAAAAACEEEEEY!!!
Kevin: I think Lacey surprised a lot of people when she retained the SVW Championship, by submission no less, over Rebecka Hate at Rampage. The champion has definitely been working on her arsenal of late.
Vee: That’s what you’re supposed to do. Now she’s even more of a threat to anyone who faces her. And just think how easy it’ll be to make Paul tap with that bum ankle.
Referee Angela Rocca calls for the bell to start the match, and it’s Colby who begins for his team. Stacey stays in for the Gold Standard as Kyle still shares some advice with her. The blonde finally steps out of the corner, eyeing up the much bigger opponent before she darts towards him with a precise kick to his knee. Colby responds immediately by piefacing her backwards, sending Stacey off balance for a half second before the big man whips her across to the far side. Sky rebounds with a clothesline...that doesn’t barely budge him. She tries a second time, still doesn’t move him. But when Colby returns the favor, he mows Stacey down without much trouble at all.
Kevin: I think we can both agree that a head-on assault isn’t going to work for the Gold Standard here.
Vee: That’s another reason I think this match is unfair. But if I know these girls, they’ll get something working.
Colby doesn’t give Stacey much of a chance to get to her feet before he yanks her forward into some shoulder blocks that rattle her. Sky gets whipped into the far corner before the big Canadian follows her with a running elbow smash. It causes her to stumble out of the corner before he scoops her up over his shoulder for a running powerslam. He doesn’t stop there either, and bounces off the near side for a running leg drop before making the cover.
Kevin: That’s gotta feel like having a house fall on you with a man that size!
ONE!!
TW-NO.
She still gets her shoulder up in time, and heads towards the ropes. He measures the blonde as she gets to all fours before diving forward with a double axe handle blow to her back to put her down again.
Vee: If Colby were a real sportsman, he’d have offered to tie one of those grubby hands behind his back. Same goes for the Cheetah.
He quickly makes it back to his feet, and pulls Stacey up with him. A hard Irish whip fires her into a neutral corner before he follows her in with a running discus clothesline. Colby quickly lifts off her feet again, looking as though he were going for a gorilla press slam. But Stacey jams a thumb in his eye, freeing herself to land on her feet behind him. Lacey shouts at Rocca from the corner to get her attention as Stacey uses a low blow to bring the former Defiance Champion to his knees.
Vee: I told you they’d figure something out. Those girls are too smart to let something like this continue for very long. That was an eld trick elbow injury from her cheerleading days.
Kevin: That was the only way she was going to get him off his feet, and she better move fast before he gets back up. Because I’m sure he won’t be happy when he does it.
Rocca turned back around at this point, and Stacey pulled Colby’s head down to drive knees into his face repeatedly as he sat on his knees. She bounced off the near side for a running knee trembler, wobbling him on his knees with the shot. The blonde followed up with a spinning roundhouse kick to the jaw that toppled him to the canvas. She had a vicious expression on her face as she headed for the corner, and measured a double stomp into his chest before going for the cover. Rocca dropped into position for the cover.
Vee: Colby won’t be getting up the rest of the match, mark my words. And it may be over now actually!
ONE!!
TW-NOO
Colby’s strength made it easy for him to shove Stacey off the cover before the count finished. She raked his eyes for it, and started driving the point of her elbow into his face, including one big shot to the bridge of his nose. It caused him to cover his face in pain as Stacey tagged in her partner.
Kevin: She’s gonna have to do a fair bit more than that to keep Colby down for three. Just hooking a leg for either of them could be a chore all its own.
Lacey stepped into the ring before she and her partner grabbed Colby’s legs, and yanked them apart. Rocca told Stacey to get out of the ring, which she did and Lacey dragged the sole of her boot across Colby’s face. It was clear he was still trying to get his vision back, and Lacey only made it worse with a standing fist drop into his face. When Colby started to roll onto his stomach, Lacey grabbed his hands and sat on his back to apply a straightjacket submission, wrapping both his arms around his neck.
Vee: See how effortless Lacey makes it look when she’s in the ring? That’s the mark of an all time great in this business.
Kevin: You think so? Seems to me like Stacey did most of the work and in getting him down. Now she’s only gotta keep him there.
Rocca dropped down in front of Colby to see if he wanted to stop the match. The big man showed no signs of that though, not that he could speak much with Lacey pulling back on his arms. She told him to quit now or she was going to choke him out. But the Canadian didn’t listen, especially as the crowd was getting loud behind him now as they tried to rally him. Rocca checked again, still not getting a confirmation. But Colby began to rise to his knees, causing Lacey’s eyes to widen. She tried to tighten her grip, but it wasn’t working as the big man was making back to his feet. Lacey was hanging over his back by her hands until Colby drove them both backwards into the nearest corner. He crunched the champion as a result, causing her to let go as he stumbled forward to try to get his breath back.
Kevin: That’s an unfortunate reality when you have the mismatch in size and strength that Colby does with the SVw Champion. She got stuffed into that corner too.
Vee: Lacey needs to get back on him quickly, don’t let him stay on his feet. Or worse, let him get to his partner.
Lacey collected herself after being smashed against the corner, but saw Colby was starting to get himself together. She darted towards him as he knelt on a kee, grabbing his head and dropping him with a one-handed bulldog. Lacey hit the near side as the Canadian was rising again, catching him with a running kneelift to the face that knocked him to a seat on the mat. She headed for the corner, shouting ‘KNEEL BEFORE ME” before catching him with a running boot to the face as he tried to get up. Morrison dropped back to the canvas, and was quickly covered.
Vee: Good job, Lacey! That’s what makes her the SVW Champion as long as she has been, Kevin!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Colby got his shoulder up before the three, and Lacey demanded a faster count after getting back to her feet. Colby started to rise again as Lacey hit the far side ropes, looking for a running neckbreaker. But Morrison shoved her into the ropes chest first instead, and stumbled back to his corner to make the tag.
Kevin: Uh oh! Tonight just got a whole lot longer for the SVW Champion, because look who’s in the ring now! This is the first time these two have shared a ring in a match like this!
Lacey got her wind back, and turned around to see the “Fat Cheetah” standing across from her. Her eyes widened as she spotted him, and the fans in the arena were making a tremendous amount of noise now. As he progressed towards her, Lacey took off towards him with a forearm smash...but he caught her coming forward into a falling side slam. Paul rolled back to his feet, stepping a little gingerly after what happened at Rampage. When he spotted her getting up, he dropped a leg across her chest and kept it there. Rocca dove into position to make the cover.
Kevin: Good Lord, Lacey’s chest may have just caved in! It’s already over!!
ONE!!!
TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
THREE-NOO!!!
Lacey got her shoulder up in time before the three, and Paul got back to his feet. He pulled the SVW Champion into a bearhug before running her back first into three corners at top speed (except her own corner obviously).
Vee: Why hasn’t someone put this idiot on a keto diet or something?! This isn’t fair at all!
He carried her away from the third corner, still holding her up in his arms before sending her flying with a belly to belly overhead suplex. The big man rolled to his feet again, getting another pop from the crowd. He took off for the far side, picking up speed before rebounding into a big splash….but Lacey rolled out of the way in time. Paul crashed into the mat, and the SVW Champion laid near the ropes and tried to get her wind back quickly.
Kevin: It’s not hyperbole to say that Lacey’s entire body might be in shock. There’s no preparation for facing a man that size, I don’t care who you are.
Vee: It’s not in shock! She’s just replotting her strategy now that she has the fat bastard down on the mat.
The SVW Champion made it back to her feet, and quickly descended on the Cheetah when she saw him beginning to get up. Lacey snatched up the foot Ryan had attacked at Rampage, and began spiking his knee into the mat repeatedly. The expression on the big man’s face showed that the ankle wasn’t totally healed yet, and Lacey took full advantage of that when she noticed it herself. She immediately applied an ankle lock in the center of the ring, prompting Rocca to drop down to check for a submission.
Kevin: That ankle has definitely not healed since Rampage. I don’t think I have ever seen the Cheetah tap out though.
Vee: So what? If she puts enough pressure for long enough on that ankle, he’ll either tap or get put on the shelf while his fat foot heals. She wins either way.
The fans in the arena were getting loud again, showing support for the big man as he tried to reach for the ropes. None were close enough though as the referee checked again. Paul shook his head no, and Lacey dropped to the mat to apply a grapevine around his leg as she kept the ankle lock applied. Paul’s teeth gritted in pain as he tried to reach for the ropes to no avail.
Kevin: She’s got that ankle lock really hooked in tight, look at how she’s wrapped herself around that leg. That’s like dead weight on that leg.
Vee: Except Lacey is very much alive, duh! This is brilliant! And you thought he was just gonna mop the mat up with her.
The referee checked again, and that’s when Paul used the strength in his arms to claw himself to the ropes. He finally made it, and Lacey kept the hold applied for a four and a half count before she let it go. She quickly got to her feet, stomping away at the ankle as the big man was trying to use the ropes to get to his feet. Lacey backed up a few steps, and delivered a chop block into the back of his leg to keep him on his knees. He still used the ropes to help him get up again as Lacey took off for the far side again. This time when she came back, she ran into Paul’s waiting hand before he scooped her up with both arms for a sitout powerbomb!
Kevin: Lacey took a second too long right there, and the Cheetah just drilled her into the mat! If his ankle wasn’t hurting, I’m sure he’d have gone for the cover by now.
Vee: You’re giving him way more credit for intelligence than me. I don’t think he considers anything but where the best deal on t-bones are.
Paul got back to his feet very slowly, and was moving pretty gingerly on his ankle. He headed for the corner, and climbed up onto the second turnbuckle. He bounced on it for a moment before Kyle slid a chair into the ring as he came off. Lacey grabbed it, and covered herself with it. The big man crashed across his it instead, causing him to collapse to the mat as the referee called for the bell.
Vee: What a fantastic counter! She should have done that ten minutes ago!
Kevin: She got herself disqualified for it too!
Vee: I really don’t think she cares, Kevin.
Lacey rolled away, and finally made it to her feet. She snatched the chair up, and slid it around Paul’s ankle. As the redhead headed for the corner to jump off it, Colby stepped over the top rope to help his friend when Stacey kicked the rope up between his legs.
Vee: Way to go, Stacey! Lacey’s gonna get rid of her Midas Touch problems right here!
Kevin: Stop her, Rocca! Don’t let her do it! NEVER MIND!!
Lacey had just made it to the top rope when Scarlett Kincaid hit the ring, standing between Lacey and the Cheetah. She dared her to jump, to which Lacey looked thunderous.
Kevin: If you’re feeling froggy, champ...JUMP!
Vee: Oh shut up! What’s her business out here?
Kevin: Scarlett’s been chasing Lacey for months, and I’d love to see it happen! And it will at Climax!
It seemed like she was thinking it over before hopping down to the apron and then the floor to join Stacey and Kyle. Colby recovered enough to head over to check on his partner as Scarlett stayed in the ring, keeping a wary eye on the SVW Champion.
Kevin: We’ve got one hell of a situation right here! And the SVW Champion wants nothing to do with it either!
Lacey glared daggers into the ring as Scarlett paced back forth. Then she turned and followed Stacey and Kyle to the back as Aggression faded off the air.
