Live from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri
September 4, 2017

The SVW logo is shown on the screen, dropping into shot letter by letter until it explodes and we go immediately to the live broadcast. We fade in backstage to find Joe Ragnal, drinking a hot cup of coffee he found at the catering table. After a sip he lets out a heavy sigh. He still has a few visible injuries left over from the events of Extreme Prejudice.

Joe: That's some good joe...

As he drinks, he's approached by Max Walker, who of course has a microphone in hand.

Max: Excuse me, Joe, if you have a moment to talk? First of all, how are you feeling after Extreme Prejudice? Did you feel at home in your FUN House match after so long away from it?

The former Chaos Champion turns to face Max, mouth still full of coffee as he's asked the question. One hard swallow later, Joe replies.

Joe: Well Max...I'm okay. A little sore, but okay. A slight nagging pain where Nyx pulled at my limb, but otherwise okay. Still, I can see why they wanted to move my match with Bianca back a few weeks, not that I'm happy about that, or the fact that this match is based on the longest time versus the shortest time, but...what'd I expect? I signed up for that Midas Touch before I knew what would happen.

Max: Well you certainly sound like you're okay.

Joe: Definitely. It's not like Nyx did a number on my throat the way someone like Moxie once did, but she still did a number on me. She really got a hang on the FUN House, too. Like...it was nice to be back in the FUN House, Max. It was nice to bring something familiar to me to SVW and let a wider audience experience it firsthand. I've heard some positive reception, so who knows. Maybe it'll come back some day...not in pog form.

Another sip of coffee.

Joe: That said...I conquered Nyx. I ended what felt like months of horror movie nightmares, and I also overcame a long-term concern that came from all of that as a result. So now, one can only hope, life goes back to normal. But if there's one thing I've learned, life never goes back to normal. It changes, heavily. But if there's one thing I know is still normal, it's me.

Max: Well if you ask some of your colleagues-

Joe: RELATIVELY normal. Is that better?

Max: Well, there's also the case of Destiny Campbell. She seems to be in cahoots with Nyx, are you sure you're not concerned about her in any way? You don't think she could come after you next?

Joe looks down, letting the question stew a bit, before he answered.

Joe: Look, Nyx was someone I've never dealt with. Someone nobody in this company dealt with. I was the first person she ever encountered, and I've got the ragdoll behind me now. Not to say she wasn't intimidating, because she was on par with me in the FUN House. But Destiny? I've seen her over the course of the last several years. I've studied her closely when Marla Lee was dealing with her these last few months. I knew she was bound to show her mug in the Chaos Division sooner or later. And while her being a politician is a new angle, well...there's not anything new I can say about someone of Campbell's nature. But if she does end up coming my way? Well, she's got what happened to Nyx as her warning.

The Innovator holds his finger up as he takes another sip.

Joe: Which, speaking of warnings, brings me back to Bianca Salvador. She wants to talk warning signs, but I'm all over that tropical cyclone already. You know what I was before I was the Innovator of Fully Unrehearsed Nuttiness, Max? The Cloudbreaker. A typhoon is basically just a giant cluster of wind, and you know who's better than to Take down someone of Bianca's stature? You're looking at him. And I know that everyone in this arena tonight, everyone that's going to see this show live in two weeks, every person in this backstage area to EVERYONE IN THE GOT. DAMN. WORLD is gonna wanna see me knock that typhoon back to a micro-tropical raincloud! So let's do this, Bianca! Bring the warning signs, BUT I WILL BRING THE HYPE!

And with one great big roar, Joe holds his coffee cup over his head, and pours the contents into his mouth, which pours out of his lower lip, getting his clothes drenched in the stuff. Max looks concerned.

Max: GOOD GRIEF are you okay, Joe?! Wasn't that hot?!

The Innovator of FUN, now a little calmed down from his hype, looks at Max...and shrugs.

Joe: Prolly? I dunno, I'm kinda numb to pain at the moment. Prolly an after effect from the FUN House.

He smirks.

Joe: Maybe the docs were right to keep me out for another week. Seeya, Max.

And Joe nonchalantly walks off, leaving Max behind. On that, we go to the opening music video for Aggression. “Wicked Ones” by Dorothy begins to play immediately. There we see an old ring with a light hanging over it swinging back and forth as two wrestlers are circling. Next is a clip of Shane Atwater applying his crossface, Kelly Kincaid performing the Flight Path, Cade & Apollo bumping fists before a match, and then back to the two wrestlers in the ring again as another couple lights help illuminate the ring.

It cuts from there to now seeing David Cyclone holding the Defiance Championship over his head, Rhea Laskaris pummeling an opponent with the Twelve Trials, Raven Knight playing with a Zippo lighter with a grin on her face, and finally Sunny standing in front of the Worthy. It cuts back to the ring with the two wrestlers as now it’s fully illuminated, and a loud crowd roars right before the two wrestlers collide before the Aggression logo drops into place with a stamped SVW logo lands on top of that. On that, the show goes to commercial.

The show immediately heads to ringside with John Youle standing front and center in the ring, armed with his microphone.

Melissa: Hello, everyone! Welcome to beautiful St. Louis, Missouri! We are here at the Scottrade Center on the road to Climax!

Dante: Climax is always SVW’s biggest event each year, and things tend to get a little crazy the closer we get.

John: The opening contest of Aggression is scheduled for one fall!

Melissa: We’re gonna kick things off with a debut for Nico Costello, and he’s about to meet Sugata Hotaru one on one.

Dante: I’ve looked up some video online of Nico to kinda see where his skill set lies. And I think we may be in for a treat.

The lights in the entire arena slowly fade away, streams of different colored lights beginning to swirl across the entire arena before the spotlight shines on the center stage and the ramp, as the words ‘ONE PUNCHHHHHH’ are screamed out as the main riff to “The Hero!! Set Fire to the Furious Fist” by JAM Project hits the PA system in full blast, revealing a man with his back to the camera emerging from under the ramp and once he’s all the way up from being elevated, he gradually turns around to reveal himself as the man known as “Jinchu,” Sugata Hotaru. The glance he casts the crowd as he begins to walk down the ramp is one of almost disgust at the people around him as they boo him with the boos furthering as Mai Hotaru comes out from the curtains before the two of them begin to make their way down the ramp, with Sugata and Mai discussing strategy before she gives him a nod of approval as Sugata Hotaru runs the rest of the way down the ramp, leaping from the floor onto the second rope in an impressive display of athleticism to the crowd watching, as he remains there for a moment, overlooking the audience.

John: From Miyagi-ken, Tōhoku, Japan, weighing in at one hundred and ninety-nine pounds...he is “JINCHU”...SUGATAAAAAAAAAAAAA...HOOOOOOTAAAAARUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After soaking in the boos, Sugata springboards from the second rope to the inside of the ring before taking center stage as the spotlight shines on him, slowly raising his right hand raised in the air in a display of superiority and triumph as Mai Hotaru applauds from ringside before the house lights return and “The Hero!! Set Fire to the Furious Fist” fades as Sugata goes to the nearest turnbuckle, leaning against it and listening to some last minute advice from his big sister Mai, preparing himself for this match.

Melissa: We have seen a much more pronounced vicious streak from Sugata of late, especially in his last match with Leighana.

Dante: I think that comes from spinning his wheels a little longer here in SVW than he’d care to. On top of that, he’s also got Mai running interference for him.

The legendary opening strum of "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor kicks up, getting an immediate reaction just on that alone. As the heaviness kicks up, the infectious beat traverses through the audience. More so when the lights in the arena cascade Panama’s colors of blue, red, and white. Stepping onto the stage, bopping along with the beat, Nico Costello scans the audience. He throws his arms up to further incite them before heading down to the ring. There’s an obvious pep in his step and a glimmer in his dark eyes. He kisses on a pendant around his neck when he reaches the center of the stage.

John:  Making his way down to the ring...from Panama City, Panama...weighing in at 215 pounds...NICOOOOO COSTELLLLLOOOOOO!

When he reaches the ring, he takes off the pendant and heads into the ring. He goes towards the referee, giving them a pat on the shoulder and entrusting the pendant to them. When he ends the brief conversation, Nico heads to the center of the ring and crouches down. He gives his respects to the ring, the crowd, and the Heavens before getting off and rushing up the rope. He stands there, keeping the energy of the crowd up. He points out to several of them before jumping off the ropes. After his show is over, he opts to start to search. Namely, a homage to Son Goku by leaning his weight onto a knee and stretching out the free leg and then leaning onto the other.

Melissa: Nico Costello looks like he’s ready for his SVW debut, and I’m curious to see what you saw that impressed you so much, Dante.

Dante: I have a feeling you will. I’ll be curious to see how much preparation Sugata did on this guy. Because if he didn’t, he may end up regretting that decision.

Referee Rudy Palmer checked both men before calling for the bell. Sugata looked across with some disinterest in Nico as the pair met in the center. Hotaru seemed to size him up for a moment before backhanding him across the jaw. Nico held his jaw for a moment before returning fire with a back heel kick to the chest. Two more kicks followed that one before Nico fired him across to the far side. As soon as Sugata rebounded, Nico left his feet with a handspring back elbow that rocked Sugata into the ropes again. Costello bounced on the balls of his feet, and connected with a standing dropkick to the chest that sent Hotaru through the ropes to the floor. He quickly rolled back to his feet in the ring, as Mai went to check on a dazed and slowly more angry Sugata.

Dante: See what I told you? Nico may not be the most finessed guy you’ll ever see, but he packs one hell of a punch. Or kick in this case.

Melissa: Sugata got dumped out of the ring on his backside, and I have a feeling he may not have been ready for this!

As Mai helped him to his feet, Nico took off for the far side. He rebounded quickly, leapt to the top rope and used it for a springboard into a  forearm smash! The crowd was very quickly getting into Nico’s corner as he pulled Sugata up, bounced his head off the mat and then rolled him back inside. Costello rolled inside after him as Sugata began to get to his feet, only for the newcomer to hop up to the middle turnbuckle. When his opponent spun around, Nico launched himself off the middle with a blockbuster that planted Sugata before he went for the cover.

Melissa: Blockbuster! Sugata doesn’t know which way to turn, and he’s 3 seconds from not having to worry about it!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Sugata got his shoulder up before the three came down, which didn’t slow Nico at all. Costello immediately got to his feet, while his opponent did the same. Sugata began firing shots in bunches, only for Nico to use his arms to block and deflect each one until he returned fire with a kick to the gut. He quickly snatched up Sugata, and dropped him with a snap suplex.

Dante: Nico kinda reminds me of Ip Man the way he blocks those shots, and a suplex to put Sugata back down. This may not last long if Sugata doesn’t find a way to slow him down!

Sugata started back to his feet again before Nico yanked him the rest of the way. He fired a few chops into his chest, and shot him across to the far corner. Sugata landed back first as Nico darted towards him, leaving his feet for a monkey flip. But Sugata didn’t go with him, and instead countered into a sitout powerbomb. Costello bounced off the mat as Sugata leaned against the turnbuckles to collect himself until he got back to his feet. Before Nico could recover, Hotaru began putting the boots to him relentlessly. He followed that up with a dropsault and then a diving back elbow drop to his head as Mai applauded him from ringside.

Melissa: Sugata finally got control of this match. And let me tell you, he’s going to do whatever it takes to keep Nico on the canvas after everything we just saw.

Dante: That would definitely be in his best interests, to keep Nico grounded as much as possible. He’s even got his own cheering squad over here, she probably has pom poms somewhere.

He dragged Nico to lean across the middle rope before he snatched him around the waist. A snap of the hips sent Nico flying with a German suplex to the mat. As the newcomer was starting to get up, Sugata quickly stopped that with a side Russian leg sweep to drive him into the mat. Hotaru rolled to his feet, and waved him to rise. And as soon as he started to do that, he put him back down with a cravate knee facebuster! Hotaru rolled him over for the cover as Mai counted with the referee at ringside.

Melissa: There’s the KING’S PILLAR!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!!

Nico got his shoulder up in time, causing Mai to stop counting and order more punishment for him. Sugata rose to his feet, and threw Nico with a t-bone suplex that sent him into the ropes before he hit the mat.

Dante: Nico’s still in this match, but the longer he is, Sugata’s mean streak gets more and more pronounced.

Costello began to use the ropes to help him get back to his feet as Sugata circled around behind him. As soon as Nico was vertical again, Sugata measured him for a roundhouse kick...that missed the mark as Nico dropped down and pulled the top rope with him. It popped back up between his legs, freezing Sugata in agony as he straddled it. Before he had a chance to remove himself, Nico executed a springboard spinning heel kick that caught him on the jaw and flattened him to the mat. The crowd was solidly behind him as he quickly made the cover.

Melissa: My God, Sugata may have lost some teeth right there! And the match to go with it!!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Mai pulled Sugata’s foot across the bottom rope, and showed it to the referee who stopped his count. Nico and the crowd saw her do it, but the referee didn’t. He got to his feet, and headed for the corner. Bounding to the top rope, he watched a moment as Sugata was starting to stir before Costello walked the top rope, and floored him with a hurricanrana!

Dante: I think Nico knows he’s getting close here! He would have had it already if Mai hadn’t grabbed Sugata’s foot there.

Nico popped back to his feet, stomping the mat one time as he circled around behind Sugata and waiting for him to get up. When Hotaru finally began to rise, he turned just as Nico went for his jumping savate kick! But Hotaru ducked underneath it. He went to grab Nico into position for sleeper slam, but Costello darted towards the ropes and ran up them to dart up and over into a sitout facebuster! He quickly dove for the cover as the crowd came to their feet!

Dante: Nico went for one of his finishers, but Sugata missed and went for his and Nico found a way out!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NOPE!!

Hotaru’s arm popped up off the mat just in time, and Nico got back to his feet with a look of mild frustration on his face.

Melissa: Nico thought he had it, and so did I! But Sugata found a way to get out again! There can’t be much left!

Nico let his fingers dangle a bit at his side as he circled around behind his opponent. Sugata started to rise very slowly. By the time he got there, Nico darted towards him and delivered his running savate kick to the jaw! Hotaru collapsed before Nico dove on top of him for the cover.

Dante: He calls that NOCTURNO!

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

The referee called for the bell as Nico climbed to his feet, a nod and smile on his face as he had his hand raised in victory.

Melissa: Now that’s how you make a debut right there!

John: Here is your winner………………….NICO COSTELLO!!!

Nico looked around at the very positive response from the crowd, which kept a smile on his face as he climbed one turnbuckle.

Dante: I told you we were likely in for something special, and Nico Costello makes one hell of a first impression, doesn’t he?

Melissa: No kidding! A great performance and a real showcase. Welcome to SVW, Nico!

As Nico headed up the ramp, Aggression headed elsewhere.

Manly, Is He?

The show heads to a clip from the closing moments of the match between Lacey and Gunnar Stahl at the previous Uprising. It shows Stahl accidentally kicking the referee as Lacey ducked behind him, and causing a disqualification in favor of the redhead. A clearly unhappy Gunnar and his manager talk with the official before we go back to the live show. And there in the back would be Lacey herself, as well as her manager, Kyle Kilmeade.

Kyle: The Manliest Man to Ever Man?

That brings a little chuckle from him.

Kyle: Gunnar can call himself whatever he likes, so can his manager. But the fact remains that he intentionally got himself disqualified at Uprising, because he realized he wasn’t going to get the job done. And judging by parts of the match, he might have been hoping he’d have a shot with Lacey here.

Lacey gives a little smirk as she flips her hair over her shoulder.

Lacey: Personally, I found him a little lacking. If he’s meant to be the manliest man, I’d hate to see the other end of the spectrum. I have a feeling I would be sorely disappointed with a capital D. Imagine having to intentionally get yourself disqualified against little me. I’m hardly scary, am I?

Kyle: Certainly not to me. And I don’t think scary is the word he’d use to describe what he was thinking about during the match either. I’ve never been to Iceland, where he’s from. But if he’s the best representative they can produce, I see why I’ve never heard of anyone else from there. So listen, Gunnar, let’s square up a couple things. One, I don’t think you have much of a shot with Lacey here. I know you were hoping, we all saw you losing focus and thinking about other things that had nothing to do with combat. But you know, try to focus on what you’re there to do. And less on what you may be wanting to do. It’s like that book title, man. She’s Just Not That Into You…

Lacey: Not in the slightest, but you can’t really blame him for wishing. Everybody needs a dream after all, even those impossible ones that are never going to happen in a million years. He couldn’t even handle me in the ring, so I doubt he would be able to handle me anywhere else.

Kyle: Oh, he’s definitely been dreaming. And it’s all wet too. But anyway, I heard you wanted a rematch. I saw Mark give it to you, so well done. I’m not entirely sure what you think a rematch will accomplish for you, other than maybe needing another cold shower. But you got your shot, appropriately at Climax from what I’m told. But believe me when I tell you, that’s just the name of the show. Don’t get your hopes up there, chief. Or anything else, for that matter.

Lacey: Obviously he’s either glutton for punishment or wanted another chance to get his hands on me in the only way he’ll ever be able to. He’s just going to get a bad case of Deja Vu though when he sees my hand raised again at the end of the match, but I’ll never get tired of that. So, it works out quite well really.

Kyle: I know this will be your first Climax….hang on, that didn’t sound quite right. Your first singles match on a SVW Pay Per View. But just like your first time, something tells me that at the end of the night, all you will have to do show for your efforts is that box of Kleenex.

A graphic shows us the match now official for Climax before we head elsewhere.

With a short clip showing Kaylee Clarke slapping Jake Chandler off a stool on a recent show and then Mallory Bennett’s involvement in Kaylee’s match with Tifa, the show heads back to ringside with John standing by.

Melissa: This is gonna get a fight and a half! I can imagine how Mallory must feel watching that clip again of her non-wrestler boyfriend being struck.

Dante: Not to mention Kaylee’s long overdue to get shut up for once since she came back to SVW. I don’t think anyone will mind Mallory doing it.

John: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE... SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...”

The sound of a car horn resounding through the arena echoes as a fairly sized custom truck begins to roll in next to the entrance ramp. The hood of the truck has a business name and phone number of a local garage and custom shop painted on for all to see. Driving the vehicle is none other than Mallory Bennett with a grin on her face. She puts the truck in park and shuts it off before stepping out to the cheers of the crowd. Mike O’Phee continues to rip through the sound system as Mallory bangs her head to the beat with Gillie Barnes in the passenger seat.

“SEND ME TO MY GRAVE! (BEFORE YOU...)
SEND ME TO MY GRAVE...
I BEEN UP, I BEEN DOWN,
I BEEN LOST, I BEEN AROUND!”

John: Making her way to the ring from Tampa Bay, Florida... Weighing in tonight at 140 pounds... This is “MALICIOUS” MALLORY BENNETT!

Mal rolls into the ring and climbs a top turnbuckle before raising her arms to the fans with a determined smile on her face. She walks towards the opposite turnbuckle and does the same as her song fades out. She takes off her jacket and hands it to Gillie on the outside before punching the air, ready to fight.

Melissa: This is a special appearance for Mallory. She’s not under contract to SVW, but this one match was the only way she was ever going to get her hands on Kaylee inside a ring.

Dante: The line to do that is starting to get a little long. You know Tifa’s had enough of her, and would be happy to have another crack at her as well.

The familiar opening from “Paint It Black” by the Rolling Stones begins to play, causing a chorus of boos from the crowd as Kaylee Clarke appears at the top of the stage. She tugs on a small leather jacket before jerking it off, and heading towards the ring. Her path to the ring is illuminated by four purple spotlights before she slides on her belly under the bottom rope into the ring. Hearing the crowd response, it brings a little smile to her feet before she pushes up to her feet and climbs up onto the middle turnbuckle to inform the crowd that someone’s about to get evicted.

John: Introducing from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, ladies and gentlemen…..this is KAYLEE CLARKE!!!

She hops down to the mat from there, crouching in her corner with her hands on the middle rope looking across with a grin at her opponent.

Referee Billy Phelps barely has time to call for the bell to start the match before Mallory descends on Kaylee quickly. Clarke immediately ducks her head through the ropes, prompting the referee to get between them. He manages to move Mallory back, and check her for weapons. When Kaylee ducks back in, he does the same before she tries to poke the mechanic with a thumb to the eye. But Mallory proved too wise to that as she batted her hand away, and immediately followed up with left and  right hands one after another that rocked Kaylee back into the corner. The crowd immediately got behind her as she unloaded with shots to the body, followed by an uppercut to the chin that took Kaylee off her feet as she leaned back against the corner.

Melissa: Mallory’s been wanting this for some time now, and Kaylee has walked into a buzzsaw right at the outset of this match.

Dante: To a nicer girl it couldn’t happen, Melissa. Stuck in the corner is the last place you want to be with a puncher like Bennett.

A pair of snapping jabs to the body followed that before Mallory fired her across to the far side. Kaylee rebounded quickly right into a spinning backfist from the skunk-haired mechanic. It rocked her before she was dealt an inverted atomic drop followed by a short arm clothesline to take her down to the mat. As soon as Mallory went to grab her foot for an ankle lock, Kaylee rolled onto her back and shot her off with both feet. Bennett quickly regained her balance as Kaylee rolled into the ropes to cause the referee to get between them again.

Melissa: Mallory went for an ankle lock, and Kaylee couldn’t get away from her fast enough. And now once more, she’s got the referee protecting her again.

Dante: Mallory has a kind of quiet fury about her, doesn’t she? She’s not really making mistakes, but you know she would love to not have this referee stopping her again.

Kaylee got back to her feet finally as Mallory shoved Phelps aside, and went right towards her. She went to nail her with another right, but Clarke ducked and countered with a stun gun across the top rope. Mallory started coughing furiously before Kaylee used a chop block to bring her to her knees and immediately apply a cravate. Bennett continued coughing as she tried to get her head free of Kaylee’s grip, instead catching her with a pair of elbows to the abdomen to cause Kaylee to let go. As soon as Mallory got back to her feet, Kaylee caught her with a back heel kick to the abdomen. It doubled her over before Kaylee hooked her for a double underhook DDT. She rolled her over for a cover before Phelps fell to count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Dante: Kaylee looking for a knockout shot and getting this thing done sooner than later. But not yet, Mallory’s got more in the tank.

Bennett kicked out at two, and Kaylee retaliated by firing knees into the side of her head. She yanked her back to her knees, and rebounded off the near side with a knee to the jaw that put her back down again.

Melissa: Look at those punishing knee strikes right to the skull. Kaylee is relentless when she has control.

Clarke got back to her feet, and took off towards the ropes again as Mallory was getting back to her feet. She went for a bicycle kick to Bennett’s head, but Mallory ducked underneath her foot. When she turned around again, Kaylee walked into a belly to belly overhead suplex that snapped her against the corner before she fell back to the mat. The crowd began come alive again as Kaylee lay upside down in the corner, giving Mallory a chance to get to her feet again. When she saw Kaylee sitting herself upright against the corner, Mallory made a beeline for her and started stomping away at her repeatedly. A face wash completed the flurry to the delight of the crowd.

Melissa: Those boots were made for stompin’, Dante! That was definitely the wrong place for Kaylee to pull herself together.

Dante: If we got a close up of Kaylee’s face, there’s probably a imprint by whoever made those on Kaylee’s cheek.

Bennett dragged her out of the corner, and delivered a double leg drop across her chest before she headed for the corner. The crowd rose to their feet with her as Mallory soared with a cannonball senton that crushed Kaylee underneath her before hooking both legs for the cover.

Dante: MALCONTENT for the win!

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THR-NOOOOOOOOOPE!!!

Kaylee managed to kick out before the three, and Mallory climbed back to her feet. Shaking her head down at her fallen opponent, she headed right back for the corner and made her way to the top rope for the second time.

Melissa: Close but not yet for Mallory! She may be going for another senton, or it might be…

Dante: No, it’s gonna be the--

Melissa: MUY MAL!! Bennett with her frog splash!! That’ll be all for Kaylee!!

Mallory hooked the leg for the cover as Phelps slid into position to make the count.

ONE!!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-WHOA!

Dante: What the...

As the three came down, the arena lights blinked out which caused it to stop. The camera caught the glimpse of a zippo lighter flame as the lights came back up, causing Mallory to stare at Raven Knight on the outside. Knight looked over from her zippo to Mallory, who hopped up to her feet and went straight for her.

Melissa: That’s Raven Knight, she and Mallory have been having some issues elsewhere! And it’s taken Mallory’s focus off Kaylee!

Dante: Not to mention that Kaylee and Raven seemed to have formed some kind of weird alliance in the Midas Touch! Mallory’s going right after her!

Bennett went to grab her through the ropes as Raven stepped back out of her reach. The referee tried to pull Bennett back into the ring as Kaylee started to rise. Mallory lunged to grab her again before Kaylee rebounded off the far side with her running corkscrew neckbreaker!

Melissa: There’s the EVICTION NOTICE...damn it!!

Clarke immediately made the cover, hooking both legs tightly as Phelps dropped to make the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Phelps called for the bell as Kaylee rolled off the cover, clutching her ribs in pain. She glanced over to Raven, who shot her a grin before turning her attention back to Mallory on the mat.

Dante: Thanks to Raven Knight, Kaylee Clarke does it again! She had Clarke dead to rights after that Muy Mal!

John: Here is your winner by pinfall……………..KAYLEE CLARKE!!!

Kaylee had her hand raised, at least the one not clutched to her body. She stepped out to the floor to a chorus of boos, dusting her hands until she had to clutch her ribs again.

Dante: I guess Kaylee gets another opportunity to earn a Pride title shot...and you can bet it’ll be against Tifa.

Melissa: Maybe, but Claire’s next! And I hope she knocks this woman out cold Sunday!

Kaylee and Raven make eye contact as she backs up the ramp. With the crowd showing no love for either of them, the show heads elsewhere.

A Busy Missy Bee

The next thing we find is the newest signing to SVW, Missy, waiting outside the office of the Aggression General Manager. When the door opens, it’s not Mark that walks out but her manager, Christian. He seems more than a little amused as he puts an arm around her shoulder as they walk away.

Christian: So yours truly has squared away your SVW debut here on Aggression in two weeks. It’s all worked out, and you’re set. How’s that sound?

Missy: That sounds great, I can’t wait to get stuck in. Do I get to know who I have the pleasure of meeting in my debut, or is that a secret?

Christian: Not at all. I know you watch the shows, and you’ve seen Joe Ragnal’s girlfriend, right? Her name is Reiha Laine, she’s a DJ by trade, and is Finnish. Well that’s who you get in two weeks. Oh yeah, and there’s also a third since he wanted to see a triple threat. That’s why I’m amused, because it’s Charity.

Missy: A triple threat for my debut, sounds like fun to me. I’ve seen both in action on the shows, so I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for that leg drop of Reiha’s that looked nasty and I’d rather avoid that! As for Charity… is that her real name? Or a nickname because of all the wins she gives away?

Christian: I think it works both ways actually. That is her real name. She’s convinced she deserves a shot at the Pride Championship for reasons that are only known to her. Unlike her though, Reiha can definitely be a threat. When she was in FFW, she did quite well for herself in the win department. She’s definitely the threat part of the triple threat for you. I think the triple is just for the 3 IQ points Charity has.

Missy: Hey now.. You could offend a girl you know, don’t discount me as the threat of the triple threat!

She smirks a little to show she’s not being entirely serious.

Missy: Being serious again though, I won’t underestimate Reiha. Even from the little I’ve seen, she’ll be a challenge. I won’t even underestimate Charity, even a rookie can lucky so there’s nothing to say she couldn’t also get lucky. Though I won’t hold my breath on that.

Christian: Anything can happen, I suppose. But in honor of your first match, I kinda arranged to get you brand new ring gear for your debut. I sent your measurements to the guy who used to make my stuff, and he came up with something pretty sharp looking, I think.

Missy: Really? Great! I’ve been thinking it would be nice to get some new gear, and as usual you’re already five steps ahead. Just another reason why you’re the best manager in the business.

Christian: C’mon, he lives in this area and brought it with him. So let’s go show it to you. And no cameras allowed in the changing room.

He told the camera as the pair headed off to see her new gear. Aggression then headed elsewhere.

No Stopping Mika

As we're sent back to ringside, the cry of two sea eagles are enough to make the crowd boo raucously. Sure enough, the former SVW Champion Mika Demidov walks into the arena all alone, staring into the booing crowd as she makes a beeline to the ring.

John: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome... MIKA DEMIDOV!

She ignores the boos and the few and far apart outstretched hands of fans who just want a high-five, making her way to the steel steps to the ring, climbing her way into the square. She then walks right up to John and snatches the microphone from his hand, leering into him as a means to tell him to get out of the ring, which he begrudgingly does, as her music does down. The crowd, though, keeps booing their heads off. Mika would usually wait for that boo to die down a bit, but she gets right into the meat and potatoes of it:

Mika: "Oh my God, you guys! Did you see that? Did you see how that bastard Mika Demidov screwed Leander Apollo with her ringside shenanigans? Oh man, I bet she's still thanking Emma Macnamara for what she did back there!"

An audible growl follows after that ironic beginning.

Mika: Think about what you saw last week for half a minute and you'll see what's wrong here. You guys... Every single one of you cretins here and elsewhere cheered your asses off when Samara -- Samara of all people -- came out and screwed me out of MY SVW Championship! Because with or without Kyle at ringside, I was destined to enter Extreme Prejudice, and LEAVE Extreme Prejudice as the SVW Champion! There's no two ways about it, it was WRITTEN! But then she waltzes into the arena, strutting like she was born to do that. Like it's nobody else's godforsaken business. And each and every one of you sickening little whiny bitches ate it up like a four hundred-pound porky at an all-you-can-eat corndog buffet. And then suddenly I hear people being all like... "Hey, what's up with Emma helping Mika there?" Well, what's up with Samara helping Kelly Kincaid there?! Now there's an answer I want to know!

She shakes her head.

Mika: But more importantly, here's what's funny, and that you guys are also eating up like mad. I spend months -- I don't mean a show or two, no, no, I mean MONTHS worth of SVW programming where I've been literally shunned, ignored by SVW's management, and I was the godforsaken SVW CHAMPION! And then at the first opportunity they have to make sure I don't make it to the main event of the main pay-per-view this company has, not only the cards are stacked against me, but they waste NO CHANCE AT ALL, NO! FUCKING! CHANCE! AT ALL! to make sure Mika Demidov is NOT the main event of Climax, not wrestling for the SVW Championship, which was my RIGHT AS THE FORMER CHAMPION! But all you can do is whine about how I'm complaining up a storm and whatnot. Because you only hear what you want. You only acknowledge what you want. You live in your private little truths without taking a good look at the bigger picture, and the bigger piutre is that I AM the Empress of SVW, and not only I have the right to wrestle for the SVW Championship again, I also have the right to a level playing field, and if I don't get my way on that, I have the right to hijack as many shows as I like and as many matches as I like and remind each and everyone of you who REALLY OWNS THIS COMPANY. And that is ME.

The crowd is booing even louder now, with a section of the crowd starting a particular chant, an old one, that Mika catches on to, and decides to mock it.

Mika: "Fuck you, Mika!" Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! "Fuck you, Mika!" Clap, clap, clap-clap-clap! Can you guys get anymore predictable? As long as you guys keep telling me to go fuck myself because I have the guts to do what you guys wouldn't DREAM of doing, because I have the confidence to say what's on my mind without a care in the world about what you sycophantic cheap-ass pretenders think, I will keep coming out here to piss you right the hell off.

She shakes her head with a hint of a smirk on her expression.

Mika: Don't worry, though. I didn't come here to take much of your times. What I'm out here to do is send a message to four people in particular. First of all... The "Red Comet", Leander Apollo. You dared me to make you suffer, and believe me, I didn't forget about that. And I'm not going to pretend I went through with my promise. You have seen nothing yet. You have felt nothing yet. I'm not even started with you. And next week at Uprising, you'll see what I mean, when I sink your little ship alongside Harmony, someone who I made the best choice ever not being friends with anymore.

She paces around the ring as she savors her threats.

Mika: Alex Stryfe and Mark Horton... You know, I've always been on to you, but now it's kind of on the nose that you don't appreciate me here. And, hey, it's not like you can't just outright FIRE me, right-- Oh, wait, you CAN'T! Because you KNOW I'm SVW's most valuable asset ever, and no matter how you toy around with me or how you try to take me down a peg by denying me my much deserved SVW Championship rematch, you KNOW I'm the best thing you have. So try as much as you want... You're not going to stop me, much less shut me up. And Kelly Kincaid...

The crowd now cheers for the new two-time SVW Champion, as Mika squints.

Mika: ... enjoy. Enjoy the moment. Because when I come for MY SVW Championship... Do svidaniya.

And as Mika throws the microphone to the mat, she immediately makes her leave, as "Rise" hits the sound system again.

Title: Re: SVW Aggression - Episode One Hundred Fifteen

John: The following is a tag team match and it is scheduled for one fall.

The venue’s lights dim. The audience is left to its own devices for about ten to fifteen seconds before the airy sounds of PVRIS’ “Mirrors” begins to play over the arena’s speakers. Sets of lights near the base of the entrance ramp steadily flicker and flash. The lights continue flickering as Misha LeCavalier makes her way out from backstage and stand on the base of the ramp. Misha slowly begins to make her way down the ramp as “Mirrors” begins to kick into high gear. All the while her eyes are cold and focused.

John: Making her way to the ring, hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, weighing in at one hundred and thirty-two pounds—MISHA LECAVALIER!

Misha allows the crowd to briefly take in her presence as she reaches the end of the entrance ramp. Misha walks up the steps and enters the ring then wipes the bottom of her boots before she enters the ring. The crowd begins to boo her, but she seems unaffected as she struts about the ring, judging the atmosphere. Misha smirks and then removes her ring jacket. After pulling on the top rope and testing its tightness, Misha walks to the corner and leans against the turnbuckles to wait for the bell to ring.

The opening of “Unsettling Differences” by Blue Smock Nancy begins as the crowd gets on their feet and the lights dim down. Glass falling on the tron screen provides the only light in the arena as the opening of the song kicks in. Pyro explodes from the stage as sparks begins to rain down from the top of the tron screen as out steps Freya with a disgusted look on her face as the sold out crowd begins to boo at the top of their lungs. Right behind her stands Cameron Matthews, her husband, her bodyguard. She glances back at him before turning her gaze to the ring. Slowly, Freya begins to walk to the squared circle, taking her time and soaking in her newfound hate from the crowd.

John: And her partner from Miami, Florida, weighing in tonight at 113 lbs… she is Freya!!!

Once she reaches ringside, Freya walks up the ring steps and stops at the top to glare out into the crowd as longtime fans now scream obscenities at her. She pays them no attention wiping her boots on the ring apron before entering the ring. Cameron follows suit and stands right beside her as she heads to the top turnbuckle yelling at the crowd gaining more of their ire. Freya hops down does the same thing on the opposite side of the ring. She hops off and keeps that disgusted look on her face as the song fades off.

Dante: Misha has stormed through her first matches since signing with SVW and with Freya’s change in personality in recent times this could be a dangerous combination.

Melissa: Although they’ve never teamed together before they did work together a little in the Midas Touch. The fact that they are friends outside of the ring will likely be a help to them as well.

An array of different noises, along with a low and dull strumming of a guitar comes before the eruption of heavy electric guitar and blasting percussions blares out. Jolyne Dysart comes from the back, moving the entranceway curtain out of her face. She stands on the stage for a moment; “My World” by Emigrate blasts behind her. She nods her head a little to the rhythm of her own theme before she heads her way down the ramp. There is a small bit of the previous rhythm still in her step.

She stops mid-way on the ramp, looking through the crowd. She points upward as the singer sings the chorus, “THIS IS MY WORLD”! With a gungho expression, she chuckles to herself. From there, John goes to make the call.

John: Introducing from San Diego, California, weighing in at 140 Lbs, this is JOLYNE DYSAAAAAAAART!

Jolyne takes a moment to stretch out her arms, soaking in the crowd’s reaction. With a deep breath, she points to the ring and then takes off in a sprint towards it. She easily jumps on the ring apron. In another fluid motion, she jumps over the ropes. From the ropes, she goes onto the middle turnbuckle, ascending it. She then stretches her arms to allow the singer to re-iterate her thoughts. “THIS IS MY WORLD!” Jolyne shouts with the singer as she leaps off the turnbuckle and goes over to her corner, a smile dawning on her face.

“Through Rain and Snow” bursts through the speakers, stretching among the arena. The orchestral dubstep hybrid preludes the emergence of the scornful and vengeful former Coyote, Li Chen. The crowd awaits the beat of her theme to intensify. She stands there on the stage, her eyes wide with unbridled anger. The crowd cannot help but feel their bloodlust grow as she brandishes her kendo sword. She places it on the crook of her neck, gazing out to the crowd without much care. She then starts her way down to the ring; her unsettling face paint the focal point of the camera.

She bears her teeth as she makes her way down the apron, stretching out her arm. Furthermore, she jolts out the sword, holding it high into the air. She points to the ring, promising suffering to follow her. She stands on the apron, mentally prepping herself for what she wishes to do. Now, the camera catches a glimpse of her sword in full view, swinging around her. The angle rests below her to give her the foreboding presence that she so carries.

John: And her partner…from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada…weighing in at 124 pounds…this is LIIIIIIII CHEEEEEEN!

Li Chen walks up the stairs, dragging the kendo sword as if to sharpen it on the steps. She enters the ring before getting on the nearest turnbuckle. She stands there, shouting out her hate to the crowd. When she drops down, she stalks over to her corner. While there, she stretches more and tests out her swing. Resting in a crouched position, poised to strike, Li Chen finds herself ready for violence.

Dante: With the history between these two, they are more used to facing each other than trying to work together.

Melissa: I’m not sure how well this will work out between the two of them, they are bound to be wary of each other given their history.

As John leaves the ring, the two teams talk among themselves for a moment to decide who is going to be starting the match for each team. While they are discussing strategy, referee Rudy Palmer checks both teams and then makes his way back to the centre of the ring. After a few minutes, Li-Chen and Misha exit the ring, leaving Jolyne and Freya to start the match. As the two non-legal people settle themselves on the apron in their respective corners, Palmer calls for the bell to get the match underway. Jolyne makes her way straight to the centre but Freya takes her time. Sizing Jolyne up with a roll of her eyes showing her no respect whatsoever, before she saunters over casually. Not amused by this at all, Jolyne gives up waiting for Freya to reach her and charges at her looking for a clothesline. Freya quickly ducks under Jolyne’s arm and pops up at the side of her, delivering an elbow to Dysart’s jaw as she does. The shot catches Jolyne by surprise but she recovers quickly and turns to aim an elbow of her own, only for Freya to dodge that and take the Californian down to the canvas with a hip toss. Freya ignores the boos from the live St. Louis crowd but does turn to give Misha a quick grin as she waits for Jolyne to get back to her feet. Tapping her wrist to show her impatience as she does.

Dante: Freya looked like she was taking her time at the start, but that may have been a small case of playing possum as her offense has been anything but slow.

Melissa: Somebody might want to tell her they’re not getting paid by the hour though with how impatiently she is looking at Jolyne.

Jolyne pushes back up to her feet and is straight away met with a dropkick from Freya. It does not drop her though, only staggers her back a few steps. Another pair of elbows to face follow from Freya which knock Jolyne back another couple of steps. As Dysart tries to keep her balance, Freya uses a leg sweep to take her back to the mat. As the crowd show their disdain for her again, Freya turns to shout at them, telling them all to shut up, while Jolyne once again gets back to her feet behind her. Turning just in time, thanks to a warning from Misha, Freya narrowly dodges a stiff right from Jolyne, but in doing so walks straight into a left to the side of her head.

Melissa: There is no surprise that Misha and Freya would work as a team, given their friendship outside of the ring. And that teamwork just saved Freya from a nasty right hand face on.

Dante: It saved her from the right, but the left was ready and waiting to make up for it. It’s the first bit of offense that Jolyne has managed to get in but it’s highly unlikely it will be the last.

A knee lift and a series of rapid fire elbows follow from Jolyne, which push Freya back into the neutral corner. Once there, Jolyne steps up off the second rope to deliver an enziguri to Freya’s head which staggers her forwards.  Another knee lift stands Freya upright and Jolyne doesn’t skip a beat in delivering a forearm across the back of her neck to bend her again. Before Freya can right herself, Jolyne lifts her into position for a snap suplex which she uses to plant her on the canvas, earning herself a massive pop from the St Louis crowd. Jolyne throws her arm over Freya for the cover as Palmer slides into place besides them for the count.

Dante: Jolyne launched a quick and strong attack on Freya and is looking for a cover to end this right now.

ONE!!!

Almost as soon as the one is counted, Freya drapes her foot across the bottom rope and Palmer stops the count. Jolyne breaks the cover and gets back to her feet, pacing around Freya a little waiting for her to get back up.

Melissa: Freya’s experience and ring awareness saved her from Jolyne getting any further than a one count.

The wait doesn’t last too long before Freya pops back up to her feet, looking more than a little annoyed. Jolyne straight away goes on the attack again, but Freya dodges and clocks her with another elbow to the face before she starts unloading right hands. Jolyne fires back and the two trade shots until Freya gets bored of that and whips Dysart across into the ropes. As she rebounds Freya flattens her with a diving crossbody. Rather than go for a cover at that point, she gets back to her feet to deliver a double foot stomp to Jolyne’s abdomen which doubles her in pain.

Melissa: Freya has taken back control with a diving crossbody that Jolyne wasn’t expecting.

Dante: I don’t think she was expecting the double foot stomp either and would have preferred not to have received it.

Jolyne rolls onto her side and then up to her knees, still holding her arm across her abdomen and taking deep breaths. As she still starts to stand up, Freya catches her with an Enziguri. Rather than let Dysart fall from the impact, Freya pulls her up to her feet and into a front facelock. Draping Jolyne's near arm over her shoulder, Freya performs a snap suplex to send her back to the canvas. Still she doesn’t go for a cover yet, instead getting back to her feet for another double foot stomp to the abdomen again which gets her even more disdain from the crowd. Finally then, Freya throws her arm over and Palmer drops down into position for the count.

Dante: A crisp sequence from Freya and she still toyed with Jolyne a little before deciding to go for the cover.

ONE!!!

TW-NOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Dysart gets her shoulder up off the canvas, and Freya breaks the cover only to mount Jolyne’s chest, take her head in both hands and start spiking her head of the mat.

Melissa: Freya is not happy that Jolyne kicked out of her cover and the crowd are equally unhappy with what she is doing at the moment. The only one who doesn’t seem to mind it, is her partner Misha.

Palmer reaches a count of four before Freya gets up off her and with the crowd showing their dislike even louder she storms back to her feet to tell them all what she thinks of them. As she does, Jolyne rolls onto her front and then pushes up to all fours. Dazed from her head being used as a basketball on the canvas and still slightly winded from the second stomp to her abdomen, she starts to crawl towards Li-Chen in their corner. Li-Chen holds out her hand for the tag, but just as Jolyne is about to reach her Freya spots her and dashes towards her. Grabbing hold of her leg, Freya starts to pull Jolyne back away from the corner. She tries to free her leg from Freya’s grip, but when that doesn’t work, she stops in her tracks and rolls onto her back to kick Freya square in the jaw with her free leg. Freya stumbles backwards and Jolyne quickly gets back on her front and up to her feet to lunge forwards to Li-Chen.

Melissa: Freya was busy giving the crowd a mouthful and Jolyne took full advantage of that to make her way to her corner.

Dante: Li-Chen is fresh as a daisy and more than ready to get her turn in the ring. Despite Freya’s attempts, Jolyne’s made the tag.

Freya tries to catch Jolyne again but Palmer calls the tag before she can. Li-Chen grabs the top rope and springboards her way into the ring with a dropkick that flattens Freya. Freya gets straight back to her feet scowling and is met with a trio of chops to the chest which put her on the back foot. Another two follow on Freya’s already reddening chest which push her backwards towards the corner. Li-Chen unleashes a flurry of forearm smashes which pin Freya in the corner before she hooks her head and brings her out and down to the canvas with a running bulldog.

Dante: Li-Chen has exploded into this match. Freya doesn’t know what has hit her but the crowd are lapping it up.

Melissa: I think they possibly heard the echo of those chops out in the parking lot and Li-Chen is unloading those forearms like they’re going out of fashion.

Li-Chen takes off for the corner and climbs to the top turnbuckle measuring Freya as she starts to rise. As soon as she is upright the Canadian launches herself off with a diving hurricanrana that flips Freya back across the ring to the ropes. Freya starts to get up again slowly, holding onto the ropes to support herself. Li-Chen takes off after her and spinning her around to face the ropes, she wraps her arms around her waist and plants her with a German suplex. Getting back to her own feet she pulls Freya up and plants her again with a second German suplex and then a third, before she goes for the cover.

Dante: A trio of German suplexes from Li-Chen and Freya hasn’t been able to respond at all to this attack.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Misha charges at Li-Chen and drives her knee into the Canadian’s back, knocking her off the cover.

Melissa: Misha making the save for her team, but I’m not sure an angering Li-Chen is something you really want to do.

Palmer immediately starts to admonish Misha and try to get her to leave ring. Li-Chen sits back on her knees looking furiously at Misha for the interruption. With the referee distracted Freya kips up and jams her thumb into Li-Chen’s eye. As she raises her hand to cover it, Freya kicks her between the legs, flattening her on the canvas. Seeing that Freya is about to go for the cover, Misha leaves the ring and gets back on the apron. Palmer turns back around, just as Freya throws her arm over for the cover and quickly slides into position.

Melissa: Misha kept the referee distracted long enough for Freya to use a low blow to flatten Li-Chen and now she has the cover and the referee is none the wiser.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

TH-NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Li-Chen kicks out just after the two and Freya rolls back to her feet, dragging the Canadian up with her. As soon as she on her feet, Freya leaves her feet for a standing dropkick which knocks Li-Chen back into the corner where Misha is waiting.

Dante: Li-Chen managed to avoid the pinfall but now she is trapped in the wrong corner.

Misha grabs hold of Li-Chen from the outside as she hits the corner and starts to fire right hands into the side of her head. Palmer straight away warns Misha to back off, and she does… but only because Freya is approaching with a running knee that connects with Li-Chen’s face. Freya makes the tag with Misha and then holds Li-Chen’s arm outstretched with a grin on her face. Misha climbs onto the top rope and comes off with a knee drop to that outstretched arm which knocks Li-Chen to her knees.

Dante: Misha is legal now, not that it was stopping her from getting involved before anyway.

Melissa: They’ve just teamed up on Li-Chen and almost incapacitated her arm with that manoeuvre.

Jolyne starts to pound on the turnbuckle trying to rally Li-Chen and get her to come across for the tag. She starts to rise, holding her arm close to her body as she does. Before she can get more than two steps out of the corner, Misha grabs her injured arm and twists it round behind her back in a hammerlock. Li-Chen yells out in pain and tries to twist herself around, which only makes Misha push the arm further up Li-Chen’s back. The latter lets out a scream and starts to fire back elbows with her free arm, but Misha steps just out of their reach, keeping the pressure on Li-Chen’s already injured arm. Gritting her teeth against the pain, Li-Chen starts to push backwards, forcing Misha into the neutral corner. As soon as they are there, she starts to fire her head backwards, connecting the back of her skull with Misha’s face, until she releases the hammerlock.

Melissa: You could see the pain on Li-Chen’s face with that hammerlock applied on her already injured arm.

Dante: Misha wasn’t going to let it go, until Li-Chen gave her no other choice. It’s hard to keep a hammerlock applied while someone is headbutting you in the face.

As soon as she is free, Li-Chen clutches her arm back to her body again and takes off towards Jolyne for the tag. The tag is made just as Misha comes out of the corner having gathered her bearings. Jolyne charges straight at Misha and catches her with a spinning backfist which rocks her on her heels. Misha recovers quickly and shoves her into the ropes. As Jolyne rebounds Misha is waiting for her with a roundhouse kick to the head that drops her like a rock. Dysart pops back up and gives her head a shake but before she can fully regain her faculties, Misha strikes again catching her with a European uppercut before spinning her around to face away from her. LeCavalier hooks both of Dysart’s arms from the sides for a Tiger suplex to send her back down to the canvas. Palmer slides into position for the count as Misha goes for the cover.

Dante: Jolyne came back into the match with fire, but Misha put a damper on that with a Tiger suplex and she’s going for the cover. This could be all she wrote.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-NO!!!

Jolyne gets her shoulder up just in the nick of time and Misha looks to the referee for clarification. Palmer confirms it was only a two and Misha gets back to her feet looking a little frustrated.

Melissa: Misha and everybody else thought she had it then, but Jolyne wasn’t ready to call it a day yet… wait, it looks like she’s just flipped it back in her favour.

Jolyne indeed has turned it back to her favour as she kicks Misha in the back of the knee before pulling her down into a roll up. Palmer quickly gets back into position for the count.

ONE!!!

TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Palmer gets back to his feet and calls for the bell, as Jolyne releases her grip on Misha.

John: Your winners via pinfall…………..JOLYNE DYSART and LI-CHEN

Dante: That came from out of nowhere but Jolyne has just won this for her team. The crowd are loving it, but Misha and Freya don’t look pleased at all.

Misha straight away pulls Jolyne to her feet and starts to pummel her. Palmer tries to get her to break but before he can, Freya enters the ring and joins in with an elbow to the side of Jolyne’s head. Jolyne attempts to fight back, but is soon overpowered with the two on one situation. Li-Chen watches for a moment from her position on the apron, before jumping down and heading towards the back.

Melissa: Talk about sore losers, this is absolutely disgusting. It’s two on one and the referee is trying his best to get them to break it up.

Dante: Jolyne picked up the win for the team and Li-Chen has just left her partner to the punishment she’s receiving for that from Misha and Freya.

Misha and Freya continue to let loose on Jolyne until they see security approaching down the ramp. They both leave the ring from the opposite side as security reach it. The camera focuses on the referee checking on Jolyne before cutting elsewhere.

Age Is Just A Number

The camera opens up on a white iced cake with a pair of numerical candles making up the number ‘45’ stuck in the top; the wicks lit and burning. As the camera pulls back we find Markus Vuletich sat on a stool behind the cake, wearing a ‘Birthday Boy’ party hat and a matching button attached to his shirt. There’s a foil horn gripped between his teeth that he blows through to get it to squeak before he grips it between his fingers like it’s a cheroot.

Wendigo: Happy Birthday to me! Forty Five years old as of this past Friday.

He grinned and blew out the candles.

Wendigo: You’re right Freya. You’re right. I’m old. Hell, in wrestling terms… in SVW terms… I’m pretty much ancient. Right, Freya? I can’t deny that. I mean…. Look, the truth is, I’m old enough that I could be the father to a fair few of my colleagues and I’m at least a decade older than anyone else on the roster and, yeah, I’ve watched a lot of wrestlers a lot younger than me hang up their boots and call it a day.

He shrugged his shoulders.

Wendigo: Those are the cold hard facts. I can’t argue with them. I’m 45 years of age and I’m old.

He leaned forward and blew out the candles.

Wendigo: I listened to you and your desperate giant of a husband stand in the middle of the ring and tell the world that the reason you hated me was because I cling to past glories; because I made a flippant comment about Brad Kane killing my career, because I talk about redemption stories and talk about wanting to climb back up the mountain one more time. I get that you hate me because I’ve achieved so much yet still hang around taking up spots and airtime that could be taken by younger, less experienced wrestlers who deserve the limelight more.

He paused for a moment, shaking his head before he looked back up at the camera lens.

Wendigo: We’ll not talk about the Dogs of War - Conor, Colby and Nancy - and how I’ve mentored them and the successes they’ve achieved from coming in as rookie wrestlers. We can ignore the way that I’ve helped develop them as young, aspiring talents. Nope. We’ll focus on my age and how I’m an experienced veteran that has accomplished everything. We’ll focus on me desperately trying to re-live my youth and coasting on past glories. Sure, Freya, I’m old and I’ve achieved everything that there is to achieve in this company… yet I still feel like there’s more for me to give. I’m obviously not alone in that. Alexander Stryfe isn’t known for his sentimentality and I’m sure if he didn’t feel like I had something to offer to this company then he’d take me out back and would Old Yeller my career - I’m sure he didn’t amass his wealth by throwing money away.

Dropping his head he looked at his feet for a moment then looked back up at the camera.

Wendigo: Ring of Beauty TV Champion. Ring of Beauty Pure Wrestling Champion. You’d achieved both of those accomplishments Freya, before I’d even made my debut in a little arena in Bangor, Maine. You’re first two accomplishments, Freya. The first two steps that you took as a pioneer of women's wrestling; to paving the path for all those that followed you; for all the great female athletes and competitors that make a living and show off their talents here in SVW and FFW. They’re the first two accomplishments that you then built upon; that saw you become a Pure Champion for a second time, a World Champion amongst many other achievements that you should be proud of. Obvious indicators that you’ve got talent.

He nodded his head again.

Wendigo: But the last of those achievements came four years ago in 2013, Freya - same year as my SVW World Championship reigns. If I’m guilty of holding back talent as an eight year veteran, then so are you with your almost decade long career and your claims to being a pioneer of this industry. Being a pioneer is certainly something that I can’t ever claim to have achieved; I certainly can’t claim to have revolutionised this business or even been at the forefront of an event that caused an exponential explosion of growth in this industry. If I’m guilty of living in past, then you even more so - how many times have you tweeted out or stood in front of a camera and told the world that you should be respected for all those things that you did ten years ago; that you went into Future Shock to teach some respect to the rookies of today?

Wendigo: And what happened Freya? You started to bitch and whine and complain and claimed victimisation. You lost in twenty eight seconds. You had one match - one loss in FFW and cut your losses. Do you have the heart and tenacity and resilience and willingness and desire to become what you once were? To actually tap in and utilise that talent that you’ve got… or do you still expect people to just lay down for you because you’re Freya Kane and ten years ago you achieved someone? Sure, Freya, you work hard in the gym… but honest to God, that’s the easy part. Do you still have the fire in your belly? Do you still have what it takes up here to reach those heights all over again? Because I’ve been fighting my way uphill my entire life, Freya and some of my best moments in the ring have come when the odds are against me.

The Yukon native tapped the side of his head.

Wendigo: Or are you the girl that just wants to throw a tantrum and claim the world is against her whenever she loses; the woman that’s thirty-one going on thirteen. Do you want to be the respected wrestler using the talent that you undoubtedly had five years ago… or the one relying on a crutch; using a chair to take down a guy fourteen years older than her that she believes is beneath her?

He shook his head.

Wendigo: I know I still have it in me to climb to the top of the mountain one more time. I know I’ve got the stomach for the fight; that I’m willing to put in the time and the effort that it takes to be the top guy in this business - to me the Hall of Fame isn’t the climax of my career, just the start of a new chapter; a standard for me to uphold. In six days time, at Uprising, I’m going one on one with your partner in crime and the other woman who helped you attack me during the Midas Touch; I’m going to be wrestling Misha LeCavalier one on one. She has been given her chance to rise to the occasion and put a feather in her hat of beating a former SVW Champion and an SVW Hall of Famer early in her SVW career. She can prove what the new generation of wrestling talent can do and prove you right Freya, that I am a dinosaur too slow and too old to keep up.

Staring at the camera, he paused for breath before he continued.

Wendigo: Though dinosaurs are still dangerous Freya. They’ve still got their teeth and their claws and this Dog doesn’t need any new tricks; he’s still got it; that he can still take down anyone put in his path. Because age is just a number.

He raised the foil horn to his mouth and blew into it once more before the show cut elsewhere.

John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to the finish! Also... THE WORTHY ARE BANNED FROM RINGSIDE!

“Death be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not soe
For, those, whom thou think'st, thou dost overthrow
Die not, poore death, nor canst thou kill mee”

The opening to “Clickety Clack” by Sage Francis begins to play through the arena. The lights dim down as the vocals kick in. Stepping out from the back is Christopher Kane with his head down, hoodie on, hood up with Avery standing behind him. The crowd cheers the second generation wrestler. Some time passes by as he just stands there. He finally begins to move throwing his hood back looking out into the arena full of people. No emotion on his face as he begins to walk to the ring with Avery in tow. Some fans have their hands sticking over the barricade looking for a high five as they get one.

John: And coming from San Diego, California accompanied by Avery Kane… weighing in at 184 lbs… Christopher Kane!!!

Christopher gets to the ring, just standing there staring at it before looking at the crowd again. He jumps up to the ring apron bobbing his head to the music before leaping into the ring. Christopher unzips his hoodie going to the closest top turnbuckle going to the top to look at the crowd. He jumps down and backs into the corner taking his hoodie off handing it to Avery while the lights come back to normal and song finishes.

Dante: Joining me on commentary for this match is Mickey Scarborough as we watch Christopher Kane clash with the Demon of the Worthy on his way to Climax where Sunny and the Adrenaline championship await.

Mickey: There can be only one! ...Adrenaline champion that is and in tonight’s match only one Worthy member!

The arena goes dark as smoke billows out from atop of the ramp. Lights flicker between total darkness and a dark red. From the back emerges Gouken clad in sleeveless coat of sorts with hood. The giant slowly heads down the ramp.  The big man walks down, slowly, methodically as John announces him.

John: Hailing from Tokyo, Japan and representing the Worthy.... He is the Demon of SVW...this is GOUK--!

Christopher isn’t interested in Gouken getting announced to the ring, the youngest Kane immediately leaping through the ropes and leaping at the Worthy’s Demon with a suicide dive dropkick that sees him stumble back to the ramp! Kane starts unleashing elbows to the back of Gouken’s head after making the big man bend over before Kane catches him with a knee to the mask, followed by a quick run towards the barricade! When Gouken raises his head Kane runs, tightrope walk style on the barricade and leaps towards Gouken, hooking him by the neck and spinning around, looking for a Tornado DDT to drop him on the head! The big man however stops that shit, and runs Kane into the nearby turnbuckle pole on the outside of the ring before he runs towards the next one, using Kane’s body like a bumper! Kane hops over him at the last moment however and lets Gouken smash himself, mask and head first into the pole before Kane cravates him, and begins teeing off with knee strikes as the crowd rallies behind him. It’s all fun and games until Gouken has enough of it and the Demon of SVW hefts Kane up and drops him onto the apron with a side walk slam! He moves his mask back into place with aggravation.

Mickey: Uh........ Dante, has the match even started yet?

Dante: No, no, Miss Scarborough, the match hasn’t even began yet but Gouken and Christopher are still going at it. Referee Roger Weatherby is asking them to come on in the ring, but they’re just going back to beating the hell out of each other!

Weatherby’s pleas fall on deaf ears as Gouken now, taking the advantage of momentum on his side claps a hand on Kane’s throat and then another, teasing for a two handed chokeslam. Kane struggles furiously, grabbing the wrists of his opponent and pulling to get himself free of the grip that Gouken had. With Gouken not able to hit the chokeslam thanks to Kane’s attempt of getting free, the move instead turns into a modified biel throw, flinging Kane towards the barricade before he begins to walk menacingly towards him. Slow. Methodical. Akin to a terminator. Kane puts a hand on his throat and rubs it before he stands up and pushes himself up off his knees as Gouken begins to walk slowly.... Until Kane crouches and takes a pose. The Demon of SVW stops, looking slightly confused and not sure what Kane is playing at.

Suddenly Kane starts running towards him as the capacity Scottrade Center cheers, wondering what Christopher is going to pull off... Before he suddenly rolls into the ring. Though Gouken’s face cannot be seen one can assume he is irritated by Kane’s mocking antics before he begins to scale up onto the apron... Weatherby gets ready to call the match coming to an official start but not before Kane suddenly runs up the turnbuckle and leaps at Gouken with a pair of diving knees, sending both men RIGHT back down to the ground as the St. Louis crowd cheers furiously! Kane rolls back into the ring this time and tells Weatherby that NOW the match can start before he pulls at the ropes and yells back at the ramp that he hopes Sunny is watching!

Dante: NEW YORK RAIN and Gouken goes down again!

Mickey: Christopher’s kept Gouken out of the ring and with a frenetic pace to go with it. Totes the best KIND OF PACE for Gouken but that might have only made him angrier.

Given the mask, who can tell but as Gouken begins to rise and stands still... He seems to be staring at Kane who looks as though he’s about to continue to lay into Gouken. The Worthy’s Demon almost gets up to deal with him, reaching for the ropes but as Christopher goes for a suicide dive, Gouken headbutts him in the face and lets him hang off the ropes. The Demon of SVW lets Kane hang there as he continues climbing up on the apron and steps through the ropes before the referee motions for the bell to the ring.

DING! DING! DING!

Dante: Finally the match is underway officially though from the action so far you wouldn’t be able to tell!

Gouken reaches and grabs Kane by his tights, pulling him off the ropes and lifting him into a running powerslam before planting him right on the ground. Kane rolls on his stomach but Gouken follows after him, putting a boot on his ankle to stop him from further trying to drag himself towards the ropes. He forces Kane to stand up once more before hitting him with a release Dragon Suplex that causes Kane to roll around on the mat. Gouken continues to take his sweet time as Kane forces himself to his feet and scores a stiff kick to the big man’s abdomen... He simply responds however with a big headbutt before lifting him up in a military press slam! He drops down on top of him and goes for the pin!

OOONNNNNNNNEEEEE!!

TTTTWWWOO--!!

...

KICKOUT!!

Mickey: First pin of the night here. Gouken once he’s got an opponent down on his pace just will break you down Dante! I’ve got like, all the bruises to prove it. One even looks like Vermont!

Dante: That’s... Okay. Perhaps Christopher’s bruise on the back of his neck will look like Maine.

Gouken hooks the head of Kane and lifts him upward before shoving him into the nearest turnbuckle before punching him stiff in the chest with a heart punch. Kane’s eyes roll and he looks like he can barely stand but the Demon of SVW keeps him standing there before he stiffly kicks him in the abdomen... Then one time in the ribs... Then a knee in the gut. Then the Demon of the Worthy puts his gigantic boot to the throat of the would-be Adrenaline champion, throttling him with his boot as Weatherby begins to count. The referee gets all the way to a three before Gouken removes his foot. Gouken suddenly takes off to the corner, running back and nearly sending Kane’s head to the nosebleeds with the mother of all Yakuza Kicks, causing Christopher to slump down on the ground and stare blankly, looking as though he’s not home right now and one should leave a message after the beep. Beep. Gouken reached forward and pulled Kane to his feet, getting ready to send him down to the mat for the three count. He shoves Kane’s head between his legs...

It looks like a Fall From The Sky is coming but as Gouken gets Kane up into powerbomb position, Kane suddenly starts peppering him with fists on the head! Suddenly he flips off, runs towards the ropes and rebounds, coming down on Gouken with a crossbody but the Demon of SVW catches him in his grip and twists him around into an inverted scoop slam position before he gets his head spiked into the mat with authority! Kane goes limp, motionless as Gouken drops down to his knees before hooking both of Kane’s legs!

Mickey: ONI DRIVER!! ...That... That had to hurt.

Dante: No kidding, and that might be it for Kane!

OOONNNNNNNNEEEEE!!

TTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

...

TTTHHHRRRREEEEE--!!

NO! KICKOUT!!

Kane gets the shoulder up and the Scottrade Center loves it. All except Gouken obviously. Avery at ringside begins smacking the mat in her husband’s corner, cheering him on as the crowd stomps and claps along with her rhythm. Gouken doesn’t seem to appreciate the cheers of the crowd and looks down at Kane as he stands over Christopher who tries to pull himself up using Gouken’s shirt and cargo pants pockets to pull himself up. Gouken shoves his head roughly away... But Christopher goes back, pulling himself up once more onto his knees as he stares upward at Gouken who stares down at Kane.... To which as Gouken leans forward, Christopher slaps him in the mask so hard it twists slightly to the side. The big man stares down in anger, or at least as far as one can tell under the mask before twisting the mask back in place. He reaches down to grab Christopher by the head and jerks him upward before shoving his head between his legs and forces him upward into his shoulders once again before he takes off, but Kane covers his hands over the eye holes of Gouken’s mask!

Mickey: Kane’s covering Gouken’s masks! This is what happens when you wear a mask man! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS!

Dante: Gouken once again attempting that running powerbomb but I think Christopher’s seen it enough times to know how to stop it!

The big man can’t see and goes to powerbomb Kane... But sends him back first into the ropes! Kane rebounds upward, using the ropes as a spring and legs to turn Gouken before he leaps off the big man’s shoulders and hooks his arms around the neck of the Worthy’s Demon! He gets him down with a wicked Ace Crusher from out of nowhere that sends Gouken down to the mat! Kane quickly rolls on his back as the big man goes down before he quickly scales the ropes. A few moments later Kane is flipping through the air with an Imploding 630 Splash before he gets the cover!

Dante: FROM NOWHERE! EXPLODING HYPERNOVA! THAT’S THE COVER!

OOONNNNNNNNEEEEE!!

TTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!

...

TTTHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

DING! DING! DING!

John: HERE IS YOUR WINNER... CHRISTOPHER KANE!!

Dante: With an impressive flurry of attacks, Christopher Kane walks out of St. Louis with more momentum towards Climax. If he can give that kind of performance again, we’ll be looking at the next Adrenaline champion.

Mickey: It’s been a long time coming, Dante. For fans and Kane alike. Sunny though is like, infinitely more cunning. Like some kind of Bond like supervillain.

Avery rolls into the ring to raise her husband’s hand with the referee as Gouken rolls out, a hand on his ribs after Christopher had been crashing on them. Both men look to be aching but Kane is holding his head up high, looking to the camera and motioning around his waist before we go to commercial.

Returning the Favor

Backstage in the Scottrade Centre is where we find Dexter McKenna standing in front of a giant SVW logo with a microphone in hand and an award winning smile on his face.

Dexter: Please welcome my guest at this time, the current number one contender to the SVW Championship, Harmony!

The camera moves back a touch to reveal Harmony standing beside him, her brunette curls spilling down her shoulders and over her Balmain blouse.

Harmony: Hi, Dexter.

Dexter: Thank you for joining me tonight, Harmony. Firstly, congratulations on your win at Extreme Prejudice to become the number one contender for the SVW Championship.

Harmony’s smile widens proudly.

Harmony: Thank you. It’s been a long time coming.

Dexter: The SVW Fans have watched you climb your way to the top of the mountain and you’re so close to it you can taste it, how does it feel to know that you’re main eventing SVW’s biggest PPV of the year for the first time?

She takes a deep breath.

Harmony: I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous because that’s a lot of pressure. The main event is a big pressure situation on its own, but at the biggest show of the year? The pressure triples. But I’m ready for it. I’ve spent years working towards this moment and I’ll make sure I make the most of it.

The brunette chuckles.

Harmony: To be honest, it’ll just be nice to get a fair shot at the SVW Championship.

Dexter: I bet it will. How are you feeling about facing Kelly Kincaid?

As he asked the question there was a slight scraping sound heard and a clearing of the throat. As the camera panned around it found Kelly, in her ring gear with the SVW Championship on her shoulder, moving an already unfolded steel chair into position that she promptly sat on.

Kelly: Please. Do go on. I figured seeing as you how you decided to come out to the ring and listen to me so… up close and personal? So attentively. I decided that I’d return the favour. So, please….

The blonde waved her hand in front of her.

Kelly: Continue. How are you feeling about facing Kelly Kincaid,  a woman in her early twenties who is, now, a two time SVW Champion?

Harmony rolls her eyes then turns her attention back to Dexter for a second, jabbing her thumb over her shoulder towards Kelly.

Harmony: Someone thinks she’s cute.

Kelly: Oh, I know I’m cute. Just like the girl next door… I can run the full spectrum right up to smoulderingly sexy.

Harmony immediately turns on the balls of her Louboutins to face Kelly, her face expressing her irritation.

Harmony: See, that’s your problem. There’s a fine line between confidence in your abilities and arrogance. And you not only cross that line, you take a pole and vault twenty feet over it.

The former acrobat almost shrugged her shoulders.

Kelly: At least I do it in style.

She grinned at Harmony as she leaned back in the chair a little with her legs crossed.

Kelly: Thing is, Harm, I’ve not actually said anything about my talents yet tonight. Pretty certain we could get the guys in the truck to play all this back and you could watch it on one of the many screens they’ve got set up back here. So far I’ve only explained why I’m here and maybe made a facetious retort to me being cute - something you brought up. And I’m not here to be “cute” -

Her fingers made the speech marks in the air as she spoke the word.

Kelly: - I’m here to listen to what you have to say about Climax and about me and to get it straight from the horse’s mouth. As it were. I’ve not said a single word about how I’m a pretty amazing high flying wrestler or that I’ve come on leaps and bounds when it comes to mat wrestling. And neither have you. In fact you’re doing an admirable joy of avoiding Dexter’s question. Maybe you’d like him to ask another, different question?

Harmony rolls her eyes again.

Harmony: Well I didn’t get a chance to answer Dexter’s question because someone decided to butt in and start talking about themselves. Try shutting up, Kelly, and you might just get to hear my answer.

The blonde took a deep breath.

Kelly: It was ‘How do you feel about facing Kelly Kincaid at Climax?’ Just in case you, you know, forgot.

The SVW Champion replied with a smirk before she pretended to zip her mouth shut, waving a hand out in front of her again, inviting Harmony to continue. She raises an eyebrow then turns back to Dexter.

Harmony: Need more than that zip to shut her up. A roll of duct tape might be more appropriate.

Harmony winks as Dexter tries his best to stay professional and not let out a giggle.

Harmony: As I was about to say before I was rudely interrupted, I’m looking forward to finally getting to face Kelly Kincaid in a one on one match up. I’m very aware of what she’s achieved in the business and not only am I looking forward to the challenge, but I’m also looking forward to seeing the smug look on her face quickly disappear as she looks at the arena lights while I stand over her with the SVW Championship in my hands.

Kelly: You can’t help with the little digs can you? You’ve got all this air time; you’ve got Dexter, here, giving up his free time and having done his preparation for the big scoop interview of the week. A chance to talk to the number one contender and all you wanna do is claim that I’m just a girl who runs her mouth, who is smug and who is supremely arrogant. And you’re doing it at the same time as saying that it’s a foregone conclusion that you’ll be standing over me, holding the SVW Championship high in victory come the conclusion of Climax.

She held her hands up.

Kelly: I mean, don’t get me wrong, I prefer you doing that to… getting one of your friends to jump me from behind and fasten me into a straitjacket… or having you jab a weapon into my leg… or any of those other mind games that you played in the past. Should I be more insulted that you’re not trying any of those things or that you think I’m getting ahead of myself, underestimating you and that you’ll be able to just sneak in to beat me because of that? While I ponder on that, why don’t you ask your next question Dex?

Theatrically she tapped a finger against her chin as if deep in thought. Harmony didn’t move, keeping her attention focused on Dexter.

Harmony: You know it’s really quite funny when people magically forget half of the story to meet their own needs, Dexter. You know, how there were things Emma and Matt Stone did to me first to deserve what happened to them. Funny how we magically forget how Emma attempted to blind me and how Matt Stone threw me into a river from quite a drop.

There’s a flash of irritation in Harmony’s face as she mentions Matt Stone.

Harmony: And also how they forget parts of their own stories to fit the narrative. Take our SVW Champion, for example. She happily regale you with the story of how she vanquished Mika Demidov to capture the Championship. What she’ll conveniently forget to add is how she used a steel chair to do it. Because that doesn’t make her seem like the amazing superstar she wants you to think she is.

Harmony finally turns around and leans over to make sure she looks Kelly right in the eye.

Harmony: I’d be careful there Kel, because you’re REALLY beginning to sound like Mika.

Kelly rose to her feet, shifting the Championship belt on her shoulder.

Kelly: Except… I didn’t bring that chair into the ring. I didn’t actually lay a single finger on that chair at any point in that contest.

Harmony: You didn’t have to use it. You could have kicked it out of the ring and beaten Mika the proper way, but you couldn’t ensure that win, could you? That didn’t guarantee you a second SVW Championship reign.

Kelly: I wasn’t focused on a chair. Where it landed or how it got there. I focused on taking advantage of her taking her eye of the ball and saw my opening to deliver Clipped Wings. I focused on driving Mika head first into the mat with a move that has won me so many matches. No hesitation. No second thoughts. Like any wrestler would. Like you would, Harmony.

She stepped forward, going nose to nose with the Englishwoman.

Kelly: I focused on my opponent. I focused on beating my opponent. Now I’m focused on my next opponent. On doing the same thing to them as I did to Mika - using everything in my arsenal to put them down and leave Climax with the SVW Championship.

The blonde paused for a moment.

Kelly: I’m focused on beating you.

The pair stand staring at each other as we fade to commercial.

The Hall is Calling

Aggression returns from the commercial break, where Mark Horton is shown standing at the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand. He gets a very warm reception from the crowd before he begins to speak.

Mark: Ladies and gentlemen, there are parts about this job that I personally enjoy and some that I do not. But tonight, I have the distinct honor and joy of revealing to you this year’s SVW Hall of Fame class. Very special people are part of the Hall of Fame, men and women who have proven time and again how talented they truly are. Tonight, I have the privilege of letting you know which are joining that elite class this year. You can expect to hear from them in the coming weeks, because even they do not know they are about to be announced.

Melissa: Is it weird that I’m a little nervous?

Dante: Well I promise it won’t be us.

This creates a noticeable buzz throughout the arena before he continues.

Mark: Our first inductee is a woman who has done almost everything there is to do in SVW. She joined SVW in the spring of 2013. And since that point, she has remained true to who she is despite overwhelming adversity. She’s been a Pride Champion, her first title as it is for many. And then last year at Climax, she made all kinds of history when she became the first person to ever hold the Defiance AND SVW Championships at the same time.

The crowd immediately knows who he’s talking about, and a chant begins for her already.

Mark: And that’s why at Climax this year, she will be inducted into the 2017 SVW Hall of Fame class. It sounds like you already know who I’m talking about, because there’s only one who can make those claims…….MISTY WHITMORE!!

A massive pop echoes through the arena as we see Misty’s image on the video wall behind Mark.

Melissa: Now that’s headliner right there! Misty’s going into the Hall of Fame, and I can think of no one more deserving!

Dante: Misty has done it all, as he said. She’s overcome every single obstacle in her SVW career, and I can’t agree more.

Mark: The next inductees are a tag team that have also been an integral part of SVW for some time. They’ve held the SVW Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions. And if you were to add their reigns together, they can say they have held those titles for over a year all to themselves. You haven’t always loved them the entire time they were here, but they definitely have your respect and admiration today. The only team to join the Hall of Fame this year are Raquel Fair and Mickey Scarborough…...THE SCARBOROUGH FAIR!!

Another pop from the crowd follows that announcement as we see Mickey & Raquel on the video wall behind Mark.

Dante: The Ladder Fu Lolitas, and one of the most endearing teams on top of that. Welcome to the Hall, Mickey and Raquel.

Melissa: I have this feeling there are two jaws hanging agape back there right now. I’m happy for them.

Mark: And finally, our last entrant this year has made her own share of history in SVW as well. She joined SVW in the winter of 2012, and albeit through quite a few trials, she also made plenty of history along the way. Her first achievement was capturing the SVW Adrenaline Championship! Later on, she would do something very very few people can say they’ve done when she won the Midas Touch battle royal. But I am positive she would say her chief accomplishment in her career thus far is becoming SVW Champion twice over. And the second time is still unfolding before us. It is my pleasure to welcome her into the 2017 SVW Hall of Fame class with her fellow colleagues…...KELLY KINCAID!

Another pop from the crowd emanates as Mark looks up to see her picture on the video wall just like the others had been.

Melissa: Kelly is the first person to be inducted while holding the SVW Championship. But she’s climbed the tallest mountain twice over, and earned her spot.

Dante: No kidding. The former acrobat will never fly higher than this in SVW, and congratulations to her.

Mark: At Climax, each of these talented stars will take their place in history...and deservedly so...as part of the very elite company in the history of SVW. And until that night is upon us, allow me to inform all four of them…. The Hall is Calling!

With all four appearing on the video to quite the ovation from the crowd, Aggression cuts to a commercial for Climax.

A highlight video plays showing highlights from Sensitivity Training beating the Dogs of War to earn the tag title shot and ejecting Tyler from the group as they announce who is going to challenge for the SVW Tag Team Titles. It’s followed by highlights of the BSX’s rise to prominence and regaining the titles from Cade & Apollo. The video fades out to the match graphic before it cuts to John Youle standing in the middle of the ring.

Dante: We’ve taken our last break of the evening and I have the pleasu...the hon… the privile… I’m joined by Shaughnessy O’Neill to offer her insight on this tag team match.

Shaw: You’re right it is your honor, pleasure and privilege to have the greatest tag team talent of a generation join you on commentary.

Dante: Greatest?? Okay, we’ll send it on up to John to get us started.

John: The following match is scheduled for one fall to a finish. It is the Main Event of the evening and is for the SVW Tag Team Championships

Sensitivity Training are already in the ring, prowling around behind the ring announcer as they wait impatiently for the BSX to appear.

John: Ladies and Gentlemen, introducing first the challenges, the team of Hunter Peterson and Sophia Pike… SENSITIVITY TRAINING!!!

Dante: Sensitivity Training are already in the ring, ready and waiting for this match to begin and they’re chomping at the bit.

Shaw: Can you blame them? Think about everything they’ve gone through to earn this shot -  a year long feud with the Dogs of War. And we can’t forget that BSX has never been able to beat them. Tonight is pretty much their night.

[Cue the chiptunes and 8-bit sprites! Coming dashing out from the back is Andi Takata, hopping about excitedly, while her partner Kaoru Asaka follows behind at a more reasonable pace....]

John: INTRODUCING AT THIS TIME, AT A COMBINED WEIGHT OF 280 POUNDS... HAILING FROM AKASAKA, TOKYO, JAPAN...

[As Kaoru crouches at the top of the ramp, Andi takes off towards the crowd to get them dancing along with her, side to side!]

John: SHE IS THE RAGING INFERNO OF FEMME FATALE.... KAORU. BLLLLAZING RAAAAGE ASAAAAKAAA!!

[Asaka springs up with her fist high in the air, and walks down to the ring, past...]

John: AND HER PARTNER, HAILING FROM THE GREAT COSMOS...

[Asaka tries to get past Andi to get to the ring, as she's hopping around and excited to be here!]

John: SHE IS THE MAGICAL PRINCESS FROM OUTER SPACE...

[Andi positions herself! Step out, arm up.]

John: THE "LUCKY STAR" ANDIIIIIIIII TAAAAKATAAAAA!!!!!!

[POSE! Crowd loves it! Then both girls slide in under the bottom rope, and make their way to opposite turnbuckles.]

John: TOGETHER... THEY ARE.....

[Wyld Stallyns? NO! The girls ascend the turnbuckles!]

John: THE BUUUURNING STAAAAAAR EXPREEEEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!!!!!

[And they climb down from the turnbuckles and get ready for their match as the music fades down.]

Dante: I can barely hear myself think over the deafening roar of this sold out arena!! Multiple time SVW Tag Team Champions. Arguably one of the best and most popular tag teams in all of wrestling.

Shaw: You wanna kiss their ass and overhype them any more Dante? Are you running for President of their fan club or something? I’ll admit they have some talent, just not as much as you want everyone to believe.

Angela Rocca took the title belts from the BSX and presented them to the members of Sensitivity Training who snatched them from the officials grasp and raised them in the air to the boos from the crowd as the two members of the Express exchange a look between them. The official reclaims the titles only for Andi and Kaoru to step forward, scooping them out of the referee’s grasp again and lifting them into the air, getting a loud cheer from the crowd… that suddenly turns to boos as Hunter drives a double axe handle to the top of Kaoru’s spine as Sophia spun Andi around and delivered an open hand slap to the side of her opponent’s face that caused the Space Princess to stumble backwards. Before Takata could regain her balance, Pike sent her flying across the ring with an armdrag takedown. Before Kaoru could turn around Hunter wrapped his arm around her waist and sent her flying across the ring with a release belly to back suplex.

Shaw: Sensitivity Training playing mind games early on with the title belts and it’s got them the advantage before the bell has even rung.

Dante: It doesn’t surprise me in the least that you’d be an advocate and apologist for someone taking a cheap shot.

The two members of BSX started to rise to their feet only for Peterson to catch Kaoru in the chest with a dropkick that sent her falling backwards through the ropes and out of the ring as Pike took Andi to the mat with a low dropkick to her knee. Andi tried to push up to her feet only for both of the Sensitivity Training members to hook her head and deliver a double DDT. The two challengers quickly get back to their feet and deliver a stereo elbow drop into the Space Princesses back before pulling Andi to her feet and both whip her across the ring into the corner as Rocca orders one of them to leave the ring. Takata hit the turnbuckles hard and began to step forward away from them, hand going to her lower back only to get taken down to the canvas thanks to a running clothesline from Hunter before he steps through the ropes and takes up his position in the corner at which point Rocca called for the bell.

Dante: Finally this match is underway, though Andi’s starting it on the back foot after what we’ve just seen.

Shaw: You mean after the excellent teamwork of Sensitivity Training? You know, Dante, I don’t remember any of this outrage when Kaoru illegally involved herself in a match and callously attacked me at Extreme Prejudice.

Andi began to rise once more, Pike measuring her up before she took off towards her and caught her square in the chest with a running double footed front dropkick that sent Andi back into the corner. The Queen of King County rolled up to her feet and started to fire off European uppercuts to her opponent, driving her arm into her jaw three times before she pulled her out of the corner and took her to the mat with an armdrag. Holding onto the Tag Team Champions arm, the challenger transitioned through into an arm wringer. Andi fought against the hold, slowly pushing her way up to her feet only for Pike to yank on her hair and take her back down to the canvas. As Takata hit the mat back first, Sophia released the arm wringer and delivered a leg drop right across her foe’s bicep, rolled to the side and locked in the arm wringer once more. This time as Andi rose, Pike drove an elbow into her shoulder and this time transitioned the hold into a hammerlock that saw her twist Andi’s arm as far up her back as she possibly could before she dragged her backwards and allowed Hunter to make the tag.

Shaw: A good, quick tag between the members of Sensitivity Training there. They’re working like a well oiled machine don’t you think Dante?

Dante: They are working well together, Shaw, yes. And yes, they’re doing a good job of cutting the ring in half, isolating Andi from her partner. For now at least.

The male half of Sensitivity Training stepped through the ropes and measured the Space Princess up - seemingly for a shot to the jaw only to drive his fist into her stomach, following it up with a quick combination of rights and lefts to her rib cage before he finished it off with a European uppercut of his own that snapped Andi’s head backwards. Quickly he moved around to the side of Andi and both members of Sensitivity Training snapped Takata backwards with a double side Russian legsweep. Sophia rolled out of the ring as Hunter rolled on top of the girl with the brightly coloured hair to make the pinfall.

Dante: Barely a two count for the challengers as they make the first pinfall of the match.

Shaw: Coming off a beautifully executed side Russian leg sweep though and they’ve still got Andi stranded on their side of the ring. They’re almost giving us a masterclass in how to dismantle one of the best tag teams in the world, don’t you think?

Andi kicked out and Hunter wasted no time at all in rubbing his forearm back and forth over her face roughly before he finally pulled her up to her feet only to scoop slam her back to the mat. Andi instantly rolled to the side, trying to get away from Hunter only for him to walk her down and deliver a fist drop to her forehead that caused the SVW Tag Team Champion to sit upright, holding her head. Once more Peterson helped his opponent up to her feet and this time he sent her in for the ride, before he launched himself into a spinning heel kick as she returned only for Andi to duck underneath it and continue onto the opposite ropes where she leaped onto the middle rope and launched herself backwards into a handspring onto his shoulders where she ripped off a headscissors takedown that sent Hunter towards a neutral corner. Peterson rolled to his feet with the momentum of the move only to find Takata already bearing down on him and leaving her feet for the Flying Andi, catching him square on the jaw with a flying hip check that sent him stumbling back into the neutral corner.

Dante: Andi got an opening with the missed spinning heel kick and she’s making the most of it. This is what makes them one of the most dangerous teams in the world-

Shaw: That they get lucky?!?! Two moves of offence and you’re already giving the victory. Lil premature of you.

Dante: It’s that they get an opening and they make it count. As we’re seeing right now.

Andi landed on her feet and almost skipped the two steps of distance between them and delivered a knee lift into his middle, following it up with a second knee lift before she took a step backwards and unloaded with a venomous volley of kicks to his legs and body as Rocca ordered her to let the man out of the corner and began to apply a five count. Andi’s feet stopped flying on four as she took a step back to give the man a momentary opportunity to leave the corner and when he didn’t do so, Andi stepped forward, pressing her shoulder against his arm as she grabbed hold of his wrist and fired him across the ring into the neutral corner. She followed hot on his heels and left her feet, catching him in the chest with a dropkick as soon as he hit the turnbuckles. He stumbled forward a step and immediately found himself dragged downwards into a small package pinning combination by the high flying alien.

Dante: Oooohhhhhh near fall...

Shaw: But no dice. How arrogant does she have to be to think she’s going win like that. Admittedly it’s only Hunter Peterson, but he’s still an SVW wrestler not one of the chumps they’ve wrestled in some of their other places of employment.

Hunter kicked out and rolled away into a sitting position as he looked up at his opponent who was already back on her feet and gave him and the crowd a couple of seconds of Carameldancing that got a loud roar from the sold out arena. Andi smiled at the response and waved the rising Hunter forward. He took her invitation as he charged at her only to be taken down to the mat with a drop toe hold from Andi who immediately went for the spinning toe hold only for Hunter to kick her off with his free foot. The Challenger quickly got back to his feet only for Andi to fire off an elbow that caught him across the chest. A second and a third elbow followed it before she grabbed hold of his arm once more and went for the Irish whip only for the man to put on the brakes and reverse the move, sending Takata in for the ride and as she hit the ring ropes Sophia caught her with a stiff kick in the back. Andi staggered forward straight into an advancing Hunter who caught her flush with a throat thrust that sent her to the canvas coughing for air.

Shaw: Would you like at that? She’s paid for her arrogance and once more Sensitivity Training take control of this match.

Dante: Suppose it was more good teamwork with Sophia giving the assist from the ring apron??

Andi tried to rise only for Hunter to cut her off once more, pulling her upwards with a handful of her brightly coloured locks and began to pepper her body with right and left hands before he sent her back down to one knee with an overhand right that seemed to leave her momentarily stunned as he stepped away from her only to catch the Space Princess in the side of the face with a thrust kick that sent her all the way down to the mat. Hunter quickly dropped back to the ropes and came back towards Andi, leaving his feet as he did so and caught her with a double knee drop to her body. He forced her shoulders back against the mat and made another cover.

Dante: Excellent knee drop from Hunter. Andi really needs to make the tag here and get Kaoru into this match.

Shaw: Two count for Hunter Peterson and he’s staying right on Andi here. Doing exactly what I’d do - control the pace and wrestle the match you wanna wrestle not the one that Lone Ranger and Tonto there wanna wrestle.

Andi kicked out on the two count and found herself once more pulled upright and into a front facelock as Hunter walked her back into the Sensitivity Training corner and held a hand to Sophia. She made the tag and entered the ring, measuring the trapped Andi up before she drove three quick knees into her rib cage. Hunter released the hold and stepped back through the ropes as Pike grabbed hold of Andi’s head and jerked her backwards and downwards, slamming Andi’s back into her bent knee for a backbreaker, causing Andi to drop to her knees, holding her lower spine in pain. Pike delivered three quick kicks to the spine before she bent down and wrapped her arms around Andi’s waist, wrestling back up to her feet before she snapped off a German suplex. As they landed the Space Princess rolled away, holding her back once more and Sophia leapt on top of her, kneeling on her shoulders facing down her body as she started to rain forearms down onto Takata’s lower back. Rocca asked for the release before she was forced to use the count and Sophia obliged on four, slithering backwards off Andi and applying another front facelock as she hauled her up to her feet once more and this time executed a Northern Lights suplex that she held for a pin this time. There’s the sound of applause from the announce desk.

Shaw: Thing of beauty Dante. Thing of beauty. Look at the bridge Sophia’s got there - that’s pretty much a perfect Northern Lights Suplex, almost as good as I when I do it.

Dante: And it still didn’t get her a three count. Andi’s taking a lot of punishment and not staying down. I think it’s starting to frustrate Sophia.

Once more the SVW Tag Team Champion kicked out of the pinfall attempt, Rocca confirming the two count to Sophia who looked at the official disdainfully before she pulled Andi up to her feet in another front facelock. As both legal combatants got a vertical base, Pike set Andi up and appeared to go for a snap suplex only for Andi to leap and twist her body as she was lifted upwards, landing on her feet behind her opponent. Before Pike could turn around Andi reached forward, hooking her hands around her chin and jumped backwards delivering a reverse facebuster as she slammed the back of Sophia’s head into the mat, catching her legs as they came upwards to make the cover.

One…

Two…

Dante: Solid two count for Andi and it looks like she’s swung the pendulum back towards the Tag Team Champions!

Shaw: Do I really have to continue to listen to you kiss ass? It was barely a two. Pike was never in danger of getting pinned.

Pike kicked out as soon as the referee’s hand hit the canvas for the two count. She quickly came to her feet and measured up Andi as the Space Princess was a little slower to hers; waiting for the bright haired wrestler to get her feet underneath before she lunged towards her with a forearm strike that Andi ducked underneath. Immediately Takata took off across the ring, hitting the ropes and coming back with a flying forearm smash that caught Pike right on the point of the jaw. Pike hit the mat and quickly rolled back up to her feet only to once more get caught and knocked off balance thanks to a roundhouse kick from the alien. Andi quickly charged past her and once more jumped onto the middle ropes, springing off them and drove Sophia face first into the canvas with a one handed bulldog. The Queen of King County bounced on landing, catching herself on her hands and knees and immediately tried to rise only for Andi to grab hold of her wrist and send her into the BSX corner. Sophia hit the turnbuckles in the corner and Andi came flying in after her to catch her with a Yakuza kick before she made the tag to Kaoru and rolled out under the bottom rope.

Dante: A quick burst of offence from Andi and she’s made the tag she needed to make to Kaoru.

Shaw: Kaoru’s been a spectator, lazing out on the apron for the whole match. Bout time that she made some contribution.

The Atomic One entered the ring as Sophia was slumped slightly against the turnbuckles and began to land a series of stereotypical joshi style kicks into the challenger’s body. Rocca ordered Asaka to let the American out of the corner only to watch Asaka fire off one more boot into the gut before she relented with the kicks. Pike staggered forward, holding her middle as she did so, making it two steps before she dropped to one knee and Asaka restarted her assault, this time with kicks that connected squarely with Sophia’s spine. She only managed to connect with two kicks to the back before Pike - crying out in agony as both landed - forced herself to her feet and tried to get away barely making it to the middle of the ring before Kaoru wrapped her arms around her from behind and slammed her down to the mat with a belly to back throw.

Dante: Sophia’s going to have Kaoru’s boot prints all over her by the time the bell rings.

Shaw: C’mon Rocca, you just watched her disobey you!! Get a grip already!

Pike rolled and tried to get to her feet only for Kaoru to underhook her arms and began to bring her knees upwards, slamming them into the chest of the Queen of King County. Kaoru landed six knees before she used the double underhook to lift the challenger upwards and deliver a Tiger suplex that sent her to the canvas. Pike landed and rolled onto her side, only for Asaka to pull her upwards and slam her down with a backbreaker. Once more Sophia rolled away, holding her back only to be brought to her feet by Asaka who scooped her up and dropped her once more onto the canvas with a sidewalk slam. Kaoru rose once more to find Pike had rolled onto her front, holding her lower back with one hand and the Japanese wrestler began to stomp away on her opponent, driving her boot down onto the hand Pike was holding against her spine causing her to pull it away before Kaoru began to rapidly stomp away at her back. The American tried to roll away, pushing up onto her hands and knees only for Kaoru to follow her, apply a front facelock and lift her upwards into the air, holding her vertically for a moment before she slammed her down with a vertical suplex. Pike sat up holding her back as she landed only for Kaoru to jerk her body back down to the mat and make the cover, hooking the leg as she did so.

...THR-

Dante: Huge impact on that vertical suplex and Pike’s back has to be on fire!

Shaw: Still only scored her a two count. Still you’re writing off Sensitivity Training way too soon.

Pike’s shoulder came up from the mat and the woman rolled away to the ring ropes, trying to pull herself upright as Asaka accepted the officials count and went after her opponent. As she reached her the Japanese grappler reached down and started to pull her back to her feet with a rear waistlock and was about to snap off a German suplex only for Pike to go nowhere as she tightly gripped the top rope with one hand. Asaka tried to jerk her free only to find the grip tight and began to club away across Pike’s shoulders with her forearm, landing three blows before she tried again. Once more the challenger grabbed hold of the top rope to stop herself from going anywhere and Kaoru again looked to smash forearms across her shoulders. She landed the first and reared back for the second before she was stopped in her tracks by a mule kick right between the legs by Pike. Asaka took a step backwards, holding herself gingerly and Sophia grabbed hold of her head and took her down with a jawbreaker.

Shaw: This is what you’ve got to like about Sophia - her resourcefulness; her innovative nature. She’s like a lesser version of me in that respect.

Dante: Yet there she is, challenging for the SVW Tag Team titles and here you are commentating on it.

The Queen of King County crawled to the ring ropes and pulled herself upwards, turned and darted towards Kaoru as the Japanese superstar was rising to her feet and took her down once more with a swinging neckbreaker. Again the American forced herself to scramble to her feet and sprinted towards the ropes, coming back and caught Kaoru with a high knee to her jaw as the Tag Team Champion got to her feet. Asaka fell backwards to the mat as Pike landed on her feet and staggered towards Hunter. Sophia made the tag to him, waving him into the ring and onto the attack as she leaned against the ring ropes, holding her back in pain. Hunter wasted no time at all in taking advantage, charging the Japanese wrestler and delivering a lariat that flipped her over as he sent her to the canvas. Hunter spun, holding his arms out to the side, getting booed by the crowd as he watched Kaoru start to rise, keeping his eyes on her before he suddenly lunged backwards and drove a back elbow into Andi’s jaw, almost knocking her from the apron; the alien only staying there by virtue of holding the top rope and Hunter charged forwards once more catching Kaoru again with another lariat clothesline.

Shaw: And we’re back to Sensitivity Training dominating. For a team as good as you claim BSX are, Mr Cheerleader, they’re doing a great job of keeping the upperhand here.

Dante: Hunter and Sophia are a good team in their own right. Plus they’ve never met a shortcut they weren’t prepared to take - as we’ve seen.

Peterson stopped and spun back around to face the BSX corner as Andi tried to step between the ring ropes, Rocca cutting her off and trying to keep her on the outside as Hunter started to trash talk her, causing Andi to get more determined to enter the ring. Hunter continued to taunt her, the referee doing everything she could to keep Andi on the outside as Sophia came forward quickly out of the corner and caught Kaoru as she got to her knees with a perfect low superkick to her jaw. Kaoru fell backwards and onto her side, holding her jaw as Hunter, looking pleased with himself, took full advantage of the referee being distracted to pull Asaka to her feet and flipped her up onto his shoulders before he took off towards the Sensitivity Training corner and delivered a buckle bomb - hurling her into the corner causing her lower back to smack into the top turnbuckle. Asaka stumbled forward out of the corner and as she did so Pike left her feet to connect with an enzugiri to the side of Kaoru’s head before Sophia rolled out of the ring under the bottom rope. Andi finally left the ring and Rocca spun around just in time to see Hunter drop to his knees and make the cover on the Atomic one.

Shaw: Excellent, excellent teamwork and that, right there, was a knockout shot. Get ready John… New Tag Team Champions coming up. Then I’ll orchestrate us beating the BSX and get ourselves a shot.

Dante: What were you saying, Shaw??

Shaw: It’s coming Dante. It’s coming.

Kaoru’s shoulder rolled on two and a half and Hunter pulled her upright only to scoop her up off her feet and drop her across the top rope. She staggered backwards and Hunter followed up with a back suplex that drove her shoulders and head first into the mat. Asaka rolled onto her side and into a ball, her arms coming up over her head as a foot tapped against the mat in pain, only for Hunter to stoop over her and pull her upright once again and straight into a pumphandle slam. Again Kaoru rolled in pain as she driven into the canvas by the male half of Sensitivity Training who moved quickly towards the corner and climbed to the top rope before he came flying off with a senton bomb that landed perfectly across chest. Hunter reached for her leg as he leaned back into the cover.

Dante: Another near fall!! You could actually be right Shaw, we might see new Tag Team Champions crowned tonight!

Shaw: Never doubt a genius like myself, Dante. It’ll only make you look stupid.

Asaka’s shoulder popped up from the mat before the three count could be completed and dropped straight back down to the canvas. Peterson glared at Angela Rocca as the senior official told him it was a two count, the man slapping his hands together three times in complaint; shaking his head at the official before he once more pulled Kaoru upwards, getting her to her feet and driving a knee into his gut to double her over before he grabbed her by the wrists and spiked her head first into the canvas with the DDX - his signature cross armed lifted DDT. He rolled the Atomic One onto her back and once more hooked the leg as he made the cover on her.

Dante: DDX!!! Hunters got the pin!!! This could be all they wrote!!!

...THREE!!!!!!!!!!!NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shaw: WHAT THE F-!!!! What are you playing at Rocca?!?! Do your damned job already!

At the very last moment, Andi Takata entered the ring and flew towards the cover, catching Hunter with a double axe handle blow to the back of his head to break up the pinfall. The Space Princess rose to her feet as Sophia Pike made it into the ring and charged towards - Andi using her momentum against her as she caught her and threw her towards the BSX corner with a snapped belly to belly suplex. Hunter got to his feet and was waiting for Andi as she rose once more and he made to grab her only for the alien to catch his head and drop down with the Space Crusher.

Dante: SPACE CRUSHER!!!! HUNTER GOT ALL OF IT!!!

Shaw: There’s an illegal alien in the ring!!! Rocca’s just letting it go!!! Complete bullshit!! If this was Charlotte and I you’d be screaming blue murder!! Instead you’re breaking out the pom poms and the RaRa skirt.

Quickly Andi kipped up to her feet and charged towards Sophia in the corner, leaving her feet as she looked to deliver a double knee strike. Pike sidestepped the move at the last moment, spinning out of the corner as she did so. Andi landed on the turnbuckle and didn’t hesitate in leaping upwards and backwards into a moonsault that caught Sophia and sent them both to the canvas. Andi began to rise once more and as she did so Rocca started to order her out of the ring, while Kaoru began to move, rolling over and throwing an arm over Hunter’s body.

Dante: Kaoru’s got the pin!! We could count to thirty!!!

Shaw: The referee’s finally doing her job though - she’s FINALLY throwing that commercial sell out out of the ring.

As Andi backed up and stepped out of the ring at Rocca’s insistence, Sophia got back to her feet and quickly moved towards the two legal competitors, delivering a couple of quick stomps to Kaoru that caused her to kneel upwards and as she did, Pike grabbed her head and snapped off a low angle DDT. Kaoru rolled away holding her head as Rocca turned back to the middle of the ring and made a beeline towards Sophia, ordering her out of the ring. Pike held her hands up as she moved back over to the corner and stepped straight out onto the apron. Happy that she’d regained control of the match, Rocca went to check on Kaoru and Hunter, the pair starting to stir as both Pike and Takata tried to rally the crowd; the BSX getting a deafening cheer. Asaka began to crawl towards her corner, slowly getting closer and closer to making the tag as Hunter pushed all the way up to his feet, falling back against the ropes for support before he unsteadily and slowly made his way towards his corner only for Sophia Pike to step back through the ropes once more, Rocca immediately moving to cut her off.

Dante: Hunter and Asaka are definitely the worse for wear and both desperately need to make the tag! But here comes Sophia!! She’s not waiting!!!

The cheers got even louder as Kaoru dove and made the tag to Andi who came into the ring and instantly started to tee off with kicks to Hunter’s body as she cut him off from making the tag. She forced him to step backwards with every blow landed before she took him down to the canvas with a roaring palm strike to his jaw. As soon as he hit the canvas Andi left her feet and came crashing down on top of him with a shooting star press. She hooked the leg for the pinfall attempt.

Dante: ANDI’S GOT THE COVER!!! We’re three seconds away from a successful retention!!!

Shaw: Just means we’re three seconds away from the BSX losing the titles to the One Woman Show instead of Sensitivity Training.

And no count was coming, Rocca waving it off and refusing to count the fall as she told Andi to leave the ring. The BSX member looked up at her confused, Rocca telling her that Kaoru was still the legal woman. Andi tried to explain there was a tag but Rocca informed her that she never saw one and therefore Kaoru was still the legal woman. As this discussion took place the show went to a split screen replay  from a different angle showing Rocca tied up trying to get Sophia Pike out of the ring as Kaoru made the tag to Andi. Despite Takata protestations, Rocca remained firm as she ordered the Space Princess out of the ring, threatening to disqualify her and giving the Queen of King County the perfect opening to enter the ring illegally and make a beeline for Asaka, catching her in the corner with a baseball slide before she pulled her up and into a snapmare. Asaka sat on the mat and Sophia bounced off the nearest ropes to deliver a kick into her rib cage. Kaoru rolled away and Pike pulled her upwards only to use a Saito suplex to send her back into the Sensitivity Training side of the ring as she roused Hunter back to his feet once more and pointed towards Kaoru.

Shaw: Andi’s just costing her team here. Letting Sophia and Hunter pick her partner apart with free shots. She’s thrown her to the wolves. Not much of a partner if you ask me.

Dante: If anyone would know anything about throwing their partner to their wolves… Sophia’s played this referee like a fiddle right from the start of this match.

He nodded his head and the pair measured Kaoru as she pushed up to her knees, the two members of Sensitivity Training skipping forward and catching her with stereo superkicks to her jaw. Asaka fell back to the canvas as Hunter folded up and collapsed on top of her. Andi, however, was still making her case to Rocca and hadn’t yet left the ring causing Sophia to jerk the referee around and point towards Hunter on top of the prone Kaoru; the senior official scurrying quickly to get into position and make the count as Sophia shoved Andi the rest of the way through the ropes to the outside and turned to watch the referee make the count.

Shaw: How on earth did Rocca ever get to be a senior official in this company?!? Sophia’s having to tell her how to do her damned job! This is ridiculous!

...THRE-

Dante: NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Atomic One just got her shoulder up in time!!!

Kaoru’s shoulder came off the mat as Andi, having landed on her feet on the outside, jerked Sophia’s feet out from under her causing her to faceplant on the mat before she pulled her the rest of the way out of the ring. Pike landed on the outside on her knees and Andi shouted out ‘SHINING STAR’ to the crowd before she left her feet and connected with a devastating shining wizard to Pike’s head causing her to slump down onto the floor. In the ring, Hunter and Kaoru were both slow to get back to their feet; the pair exchanging right and left hands as they rose. Hunter got to his feet first and blocked one of Kaoru’s shots, taking the opportunity to line her as he swung with a big haymaker right hand. Asaka ducked underneath it and as the momentum spun Hunter around Kaoru lifted him off his feet and into an Atomic Drop. He held the base of his spine and turned back to face his opponent who instantly caught him with a headbutt across the bridge of his nose. Peterson staggered backwards only for Kaoru to jerk him back towards her and into position for a suplex, only to lift him up and drop him belly first over the top rope and spin away as Andi jumped onto the top rope from the apron, using it as a springboard to come down across the back of his neck with a guillotine leg drop that sees him spin as he falls from the top rope and land in a sitting position.

Dante: Guillotine Leg Drop from the outside!

Shaw: And Rocca’s letting this Cosmic Clod do anything she wants to do! Tabernac!

Dante: She’s got a five count, Shaw - exercising that right just like Sophia and Hunter have done right from the opening bell.

Immediately the Space Princess rolled through to her feet and darted towards the ropes, coming off them and taking off once more, clearing the top rope as she flew like a lawn dart into the rising Sophia Pike on the outside. Meanwhile in the ring Kaoru delivered a real hard, precise spinning back kick to the jaw of the sitting Hunter Peterson, rocking him backwards against the rope, his eyes glazed over as she dropped to her knees next to him. Grabbing hold of his head, she used the ring ropes to pull them back to a vertical base and lifted him once again and slammed him down towards the middle of the ring with the Atoms Glow inverted facelock brainbuster, that saw her roll into the cover as she landed it.

Dante: ATOMS GLOW!!!! HUNTER PETERSON’S BEEN DROPPED ON THE TOP OF HIS HEAD!!!! STICK A FORK IN HIM!!!!

...THREE!!!

Shaw: You’ve got to be freaking kidding me?!?! Seriously?!? Andi Takata gets to run riot and...

As the count was being made, Sophia tried to get back into the ring on the two count to stop Rocca from reaching three only for Andi to grab hold of her ankle and pull her backwards. As she completed the count Rocca called for the bell and Kaoru rolled off her opponent onto her back as it sounded.

John: Here are your winners, and still SVW Tag Team Champions...THE BURNING STAR EXPRESS!!!

Dante: The BSX snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and retain the SVW Tag Team Championships against a very, very game and very impressive Sensitivity Training tonight!

Shaw: Yeah, yeah, they’re real heroes. Against a better team - against say, the One Woman Show, they wouldn’t get all those ‘opportunities’ they did tonight and you’d be looking at NEW Tag Team Champions in that ring.

Dante: We’re out of time tonight. Thank you to Shaw for her ‘insight’, tonight. SVW returns with Uprising on Sunday, live from the PNC Arena with a huge tag team main event - Emma and Mika on one side; Harmony and Leander Apollo on the other. We’ll see you then!!!

As John made the announcement, Andi slid back into the ring and dove on top of her partner, hugging her before she helped her up from the canvas. Rocca retrieved the titles and presented them to the BSX before she raised their hands as Sophia glared at them from the outside, Hunter holding his head and trying to recuperate next to her. The two victorious wrestlers held the titles aloft, Andi heading for the turnbuckles first, climbing up to the middle rope and thrusting the title into the air before she pointedly looked down at Shaw at the commentary desk, brandishing the title towards her before she raised it high again to the cheering of the crowd. As the BSX celebration continued the show faded out.
